#5 of Season 7:Total Recall

Immortal

The day of change had at long last arrived. It was finally starting to cycle back to beginning. Now so much more was fixed. There was now a since of pride. One thing had come too passed was that humans no longer inhabited this world. It was only filled with creatures. This was the world I had some what envisioned but there was still so much more to be done. Kiff and Yill had made a most interesting of group. They both looked for kills but the way they went about it was opposite. Yet they were attracted to each other. They had so much going on; they became the most sexual grouping yet. I never indulged myself in such a way. I just kept an eye on things. As for the resistance quickly vanished and went into much smaller groups. Patamon walked lines with Spyro and Bearmon. Patamon felt too detached from those two and made his own way. Spyro and Bearmon still shared a relationship which was rare. Patamon found himself bumping into Stitch.

Patamon panicked, "You're another one of those immortals aren't you?"

Stitch looked down, "I came back to finally settle the score. Veemon wronged me and I've had Angel spying on him for a little while now. I know what's been going down and I for one hate it. I want revenge for what Veemon has put me through."

Patamon said, "That's not going to be easy. Veemon has an entire group. Getting to him will be difficult."

Stitch said, "I'm well aware of that. That's why I have long time gift to give for that entire group."

Patamon asked, "And that would be."

Stitch said, "I'll just say it's someone else who hasn't been mentioned in a while. I shouldn't just go saying it out load. They could be watching. But for now I think I can use some time off. I've been spending the last few months training but butt off. I know there will be battles ahead. For now I'm hunkered down in a nice little abandoned fortress. Even with Angel on my side we still have a lot to sort out so she most likely won't be around. You just join me."

Patamon said, "Well I don't have anything better to do."

Stitch led Patamon down the many vacant streets to lead him to a large old army bass. Stitch had long had this place and fixed it up to a custom style of living. It was actually really well done. There was more than enough furniture. He went into a room that had his name on it. He sat on the bed and leaned against the wall.

Stitch said, "This is the fucked up life I've been asylumed to far too long. For so long I fought to protect Lilo and now she's gone. I thought I would be able to find love again with Veemon but he had long corrupted himself as you are well aware of."

Patamon sat on a spinning chair and mellowed, "It's been tough for everyone. I've lost so much. I don't even know why I fight anymore. I've lost everything I cared for."

Stitch said, "This has gone on too long. This immortal thing is gonna get us all dead. In the end I guess that's what they really want. But as I said I have a little gift for them."

Patamon asked, "Speaking of that now will you tell me who it is?"

Stitch said, "I'm sorry but as odd as it sounds at this point I don't think I can trust you. Not to say you're one of them but on some of change if they find out and capture you than you're most likely to spill."

Patamon sat up, "What's that supposed to mean?"

Stitch said, "I heard them talking about ways to punish whoever remained. That have devices they'll strap on you. They'll make you relive a repeated life of all the fucked up shit that's happened and more. They'll toss in all these false painful images and that keep at it until you give in."

Patamon said, "Well just at out curiosity if they were to capture you what would they do?"

Stitch said, "The same thing I'd image. I already know how to handle better. I relieve my nightmare everyday as it is. Plus at this point they have no idea that I came back yet."

Patamon asked, "How it is that you come to trust Angel?"

Stitch said, "That's just me being naïve I guess. It's like how you want to trust Gatomon even after everything she's done. In my case it was I whom let go first. I thought my experience with Veemon was real. It was the first experience marked to this world and that is something I cannot forget. But even so Veemon had his way with her as well. Their child is out there and that is something she will never let go. So we both gave into him. Now we both hate him for it. And even though we had our differences we swore we'd get back at him."

Patamon said, "He really has hurt a lot of creatures. Thing is to me now more than ever it would still seem wrong to kill him. As many evils he has committed I truly think he as well as the others have just been poisoned by the creators decision to make things turn out this way. That's the part I hate the most."

Stitch said, "You don't see it the way I do. Veemon meant to hurt us from the very beginning. And the fact is that he won't stop until he hurt us so much that we brake and just give in once and for all. They'll live on forever truly over ruling this world with chaos. I'm going to make sure the shift in power truly does change. And if there is anyone who can make that happen is the creature I attend on bringing back."

Patamon said, "Speaking about bringing back... I can't believe I'm about to say this but we need Scourge and Impmon back on our side."

Stitch said, "What? We can't trust those two after everything they've done. Those two are evil in a whole other since."

Patamon said, "They also knew about this for a while. And as much they've done it doesn't hail in comparison to what immortal will continue to do. We should try to get them back now."

Patamon stood up and got ready to leave and then Stitch muttered, "Wait..."

Patamon stopped, "What is it?"

Stitch blushed, "I was thinking maybe we should give it a try... that is me and you."

Patamon looked down, "I don't know if I can handle even trying again. My heart still yearns from a broken memory. I still long for Gatomon."

Stitch sat up, "I'm not talking about a serious relationship. Look I want to get back with Angel but that will take a while. In the meantime my urges have been acting up. It's been too long for me."

Patamon turned away, "I have to admit first that not too long ago I gave away to Veemon as well. When I was with him I felt like I was with a whole other part of him. A part of him that was good that part of him I remembered from the digital world. I felt too much than and I don't think I'm ready to try that again."

Stitch said, "I know I'm gonna seem selfish for putting it this way but do you think you could just do it for me as a favor. I promise I'll try to return it."

Patamon started walking down the hall, "This was a bad idea. Maybe I should have continued to go my own way."

Stitch rushed up behind him and grabbed his arm, "Please I'm begging you. Just let me lead. You look like you can really use the relief."

Stitch pulled him into a kiss. It was a pretty long kiss before Patamon broke away. The look Patamon gave wasn't giving off any indication of wanting to stop. It actually seemed more attracted to the idea of just letting Stitch have his way. Stitch continued with the kiss than starting luring him back to the bed. Patamon didn't struggle but simple allowed Stitch to take point. Stitch turned Patamon toward the bed and pinned him down with a much deeper kiss. Stitch wanted to make Patamon feel better so he worked downward first keeping his erection held in dealing with the urges. Stitch worked on Patamon's member and was as skilled as his first time doing so. This was the first time he's had this experience since then. They were able to connect on the fact that they both felt betrayed though wanting to handle the situation very differently. Patamon let his moans peak as Stitch had long for the taste in his mouth and was very succulent. Stitch was already far into giving off pleasure. Patamon felt the warmth building up. Stitch was indeed right this was lifting most of troubles out of his system. Patamon let go having his orgasm and with it went all the past. Stitch was still woven up so tightly but he didn't want Patamon to over work himself. So Stitch turned about and drew his asshole into Patamon's penis. Patamon was able to remain still to close his eyes and continue to feel the wonders. Stitch shifted his body so he was facing Patamon. Stitch bumped off of Patamon. Stitch increased his pace as he could his own about to burst. They both gave way with a long moan. Stitch made a mess on Patamon's stomach. Stitch cleaned it up with his long tongue.

Stitch warmly cuddled into Patamon looking into his eyes and muttered out, "I love you."

That was just on instinct alone. That statement was used more or less to just finish the experience once and for all. They knew they'd go about it their way sooner or later since both had someone else there were fighting for.

But then Patamon did something unprecedented he muttered, "I don't."

Stitch looked at Patamon with the face of both shock and sadness. Stitch got off and turned around and looked around as if he was lost and hit with an emotional bomb. Patamon had long fought the system but no one ever said anything else afterwards besides the phrase 'I love you.' Patamon knew he'd be lying he if he did say that and he didn't want to lie anymore as much as he hurt Stitch who was still more or less in a way connected to the system of this world. Stitch left the building and it left Patamon to get out and continue his new conquest out alone. Stitch went to a beach and looked to the sky and yelled, "I'm so lost."

A voice from behind him growled, "Don't be. You have a mission remember it is to deliver me to Veemon so I can redeem this world to being good. You're letting yourself get too attached to easily."

Stitch stood up, "I know. It's his damn rules. I was one of the first. I have a tougher time fighting the system."

The voice growled, "That's no excuse. There are always ways around it. The system is loose now."

Stitch said, "I told someone else about your official arrival. "

The voice growled, "I'm already aware of who you told. There's no need to explain that."

Stitch asked, "Why are you here now anyway?"

The voice growled, "Overheard you needed a reminder. This world was born from darkness. But we can fix it now. I can take on this force."

Stitch said, "You must also be aware that Scourge and Impmon might be in too right."

The voice growled, "Very... I will see to it that I know there decision. I already have someone else with me. This other figure for when the time comes most of take Klonoa. The creator sees him as the poster child with Veemon. I'll take care of Veemon. That leaves you to the creator."

Stitch said, "Patamon gave me some second thoughts. If I take out the creator that might shift the worlds power too much. There has to be another puppet master behind this. I couldn't help keep thinking that after everything I heard."

The voice growled, "It is with question I suppose. Than we must act under their unit, you must go undercover and prove yourself to immortal. You must rank yourself among them. The downfall is that they will test you. You must do whatever it is they ask. You must find out all that you can and report back to me."

Stitch said, "Sounds like a lot of work."

The voice growled, "It was never meant to be easy. But it's the only way. Be warned though they will try to trick you once you're in. They'll attempt to brainwash you and make you see it their way. If you fall to them than I will find myself crushing you too."

Stitch said, "Ok I got it."

Stitch left and went to our main domain at the center of the united lands. Stitch approached and I as well as Veemon took interest.

Veemon said, "Look at what we have here. If it isn't my first, still hanging there little gabuchiebu."

Stitch gulped in his pride he hated the fact that Veemon went there and said, "Actually I'm here to join you. I've had a long time away to think and I long heard that this was the group that was so well praised. I know you all want to right the world of its corruption and I want to help."

Veemon was about to speak but then I said, "Very well. You must figure that we saw this coming. Since you've lived so long in corruption you must past two tests to prove your worth."

Stitch said, "Fair enough."

I pointed behind him to single his first test to come out. Stitch turned around as immortal was lifted off the platform where on and Stitch was lowered into what now looked like a coliseum. Out of from outer gate came in a yellow alien figure that very closely resembling Stitch. Stitch quickly recognized the figure.

Stitch looked back and said, "Angel and Veemon's daughter."

Veemon smirked, "Not my daughter. You're daughter."

Stitch dropped to his knees his head ached in pain.

'Ah don't you seem to be the one to remember.'

'What happened?'

'You gave birth to lovely girl'

'I must have been buzzed when did I...'

'The darkness is back. She belongs to us. This world isn't ready for your truth and neither are you. Induced into a lie...will tell you otherwise'

'Don't let the darkness consume you. It's not us you should fear it is that that was created from before from a being not of this world.'

'She's already walking.'

'Where did all the humans go? What happened to my island?"

'That was all to get you here to see the truth and this is it...'

Stitch stood up looking his daughter. She was very much changed since when she was born in the sewage tunnels after a long go with Stitch. The memory of it being Veemon was a lie embedded in his head as a part of this worlds 'treatment'. In truth Veemon never even touched Angel. Stitch was long before corrupted and now he was seeing the real era in his life.

The female alien shouted, "You left me to die in the sewers. You were too busy following this darkness you thought existed."

Stitch cried, "I didn't know... they lied to me. They enclosed me to this world."

She said, "No, you enclosed yourself into the lie. They found me and told me the truth. I had this a long time coming. They think it's destiny that we finally meet like this."

Stitch sobbed, "That's what they want. They want us to pick off each other to the death."

I stood up and said, "That's not true all. I was hoping that you would see the own chaos you created for yourself and you now both see the light. I have a place for the both of you. Turns out she is the proper age to combat and young Yill has been craving a real mate and not his own kin. She has already proven herself in her real fight. But I did say you would have two tests. Come Natasha we will explain everything. Stitch, just stay there for your real test."

Stitch was already emotional marked. Natasha left him to join us. The outer gate opened again this time it was Angel that entered in. Stitch's eyes just widened with fear. She looked furious.

I said, "Angel too still might serve purpose. But the two of you together clearly is never going to work out. All that turmoil is just too much. We can't have that in immortal. No weakness. Now finish this."

Angel didn't even hesitate. She rushed in with her arms up ready to plow Stitch down. Stitch blocked on instinct alone. He pushed himself off and made some distance.

Stitch begged, "Angel please."

Angel rushed in a swiped kicked him. He fell to the floor; Angel came in with a quick axe kick hitting Stitch making him role over in pain. Angel kicked his gut. Stitch was unable to amount any defense he took in ever blow with full impact to the point he was bleeding. Stitch was on his knees and he looked up to what looked like was going to be the end.

Stitch muttered in pain, "Please...Gabuchiebu."

They both stopped. And it was like everything was frozen around them taking them back to the memory.

Veemon said, "Ah don't you seem to be the one to remember"'

Stitch asked, "What happened?"

Monodramon said, "You gave birth to lovely girl"

Stitch said, "I must have been buzzed; when did I...?"

Monodramon joked, "Like nine months ago?"

Stitch asked, "What about stopping Impmon?"

Monodramon said, "That's not important now. You need to rest."

Stitch blanked out for a few seconds than saw Veemon arguing with Impmon.

Veemon said," The darkness is back. She belongs to us. This world isn't ready for your truth and neither are you. You're induced into a lie... we will tell him otherwise"

Impmon looked to Angel and said, "Don't let the darkness consume you. It's not us you should fear it is that that was created from before from a being not of this world."

Impmon was pulled out and so was Veemon. The one who remained talked.

Monodramon said, "Natasha's already walking."

Days later Stitch got up and muttered, "Where did all the humans go? What happened to my island?"

Monodramon said, "That was all to get you here to see the truth and this is it. Everything you think you know it is a lie. Veemon is working with the creator to destroy this world. I have already; we've long left the sewers. You've been knocked out for a few months now. You're daughter has been alone in the sewers but she was taken. All that remains is us. You're still badly hurt. Veemon really must have beaten you good. I'm sorry thing had to turn out this way. The world is going to seem like a much more dangerous place if things keep going this way. Now you need to regain your strength. Don't worry I'll take care of you."

Stitch started to fade out; Monodramon kissed him before he was out cold again.

When Stitch awoke his lips were on Angel. He had thought at long last things had worked out. When he withdrew he looked down to see the spear in his hands jabbed through her heart. Stitch's eyes widened with sadness. Angel gave her final breathe.

Angel huffed in pain, "This was how it was meant to be. I will always love you my... gabuchiebu."

Stitch fell back in odder disbelief. He sobbed and he could not stop. We looked to him with content. He had now realized the truth. There was always love. The darkness that resided in his past was far too strong and overtook him. He thought he could settle the score down in that sewer with Veemon. Veemon was just too good at fighting. He was knocked out cold and taken care of by Monodramon while Angel and Natasha were taken away as they were in belief of his sanity. However Natasha never left those sewers until Veemon returned take her to safety. Both of them were led to believe that it was all on Stitch. Though it only partially was, Monodramon had no choice. He knew he couldn't take on Veemon so he dragged Stitch to safety and took care of him for several months. In the time of care Monodramon did slip into getting urges for Stitch but he fought them off as he knew he had a mission to just simply care for Stitch until better health. Stitch rushed off before Monodramon could even anything when Stitch recovered fully. He was far into finding darkness but rather found someone else who was in worse shape than he was. The one he said he bring back. He was beaten to a pulp and left to a cage to rot. Stitch had saved him but was far too busy to play nurse for long. The creature took to itself rather well while Stitch was in an uncontrolled rage to find the real darkness. Now that he was back to where left off it all came back. It was a fury of rage displayed and Stitch reacted too quickly. He had not even noted his own body picked up the spear perhaps to throw it the creator. But then that piece of him came back and to her as well. But when he awoke he already had it driven into his lifelong lover Angel.

I said, "Stitch, remember this moment. All we did was sit and let you devour yourself in your own self pity. You were too focused on taking us out you lost sight of what you had and now you've taken a piece of that out. Thing is the darkness you thought you knew was a lie. You fought for a mistaken cause. Veemon had to take you out because you were with the real darkness. He goes by the name of Monodramon. He is still out there. He prepped us all with lies. It's because of him you were led into believing to loved Veemon in the first place. Without him you'd be back on those islands with your loving child and wife. Don't you see we were trying to fix this? You got too carried away. We shouted to you but you ignored us. You were too blinded by rage and took her out. You passed the test but at what coast. You dwelled in darkness so long you didn't realize I brought her to you so you can talk this out like how you did with your daughter. Fights aren't always physical. The real fights are all emotional ones. Clearly you're emotions were too mixed up. With time you can be fixed to see the truth. Stitch join immortal and finally see the light."

Stitch was broken and just gave in as the creature he had spoke to had feared.

Meanwhile Patamon found himself at the desert were he found motorcycle tracks. He came up to a cave and found Scourge. Scourge tilted his shades, "Well if it isn't one of those blind creatures. Get lost. We found ourselves and home away from hell. We're not looking to go back."

Patamon said, "I know immortal has broken your spirit and I'm sorry for not being able to see. I was so busy fighting blindly that I couldn't see or hear anything else around me. I wanted something so badly that ignored and possible sign of them braking loose."

Scourge said, "You're kidding me right. You are still blind boy. What you fail to see was that the world you thought you fought for was the lie. Everything you thought happened between you and Gatomon and Veemon never happened. Not the way you saw it at least. You still have ties to their version of the world. You're not broken from their grip completely. You see what they want you to see."

Patamon said, "Then tell me what's be going on in the outside world."

Scourge took off his shades completely and said, "It's all in you. Hidden deep inside yourself is the true world. I don't know what parts of it a real or fake. I know my real life. And it is filled with shit."

Patamon asked, "So what you're telling me is that I probably never even touched Gatomon and had a son?"

Scourge looked at him oddly, "You had a son? I wasn't aware of that. And if you've been with Gatomon it must had taken place while she was drunk and alone."

Patamon yelled, "What's that suppose to mean? And wasn't it you that created a robot child?"

Scourge said, "First off I'm no mechanic I don't even know how to build a robot. Secondly I'm saying from what I know is that Veemon and Gatomon nearly spent all their together after Veemon's slip up."

Patamon looked at him oddly, "Wait the creator said Veemon and Gatomon had only got together recently how is it that the creator was mistaken."

Scourge said, "Not sure. Maybe that is a greater conflict than I even dared to image. Here I thought the creator knew all. If what you're saying it true than maybe the creator isn't the one in control."

Patamon asked, "But he designed this. What could possibly get passed every single creature on this planet?"

Scourge said, "Don't know. But there is something fishy going on around here ever since immortal was formed. Impmon hasn't been himself. He keeps conflicting with himself on what is true and what is false. He talks to himself nonstop. I haven't been able to snap him out of it."

Patamon asked, "Where is he?"

Scourge said, "In the cave."

They both looked at each other than just went in the cave to see Impmon pacing back and forth.

Impmon rambled, "No, no I saved Renamon, no wait I killed her and lost her forever. Maybe I was with Veemon. No I hate Veemon, but he's so warm a cuddly a time was great. No wait we never... Did I rape Gatomon's human partner? Fire, there was an orb. It was shiny. It was just a trick of the light. I ran the mafia, I was alone and scared for my life..."

Patamon and Scourge backed out slowly and Patamon said, "That looks bad."

Scourge said, "I'm actually surprised he used sentences. Sometimes he just rambles so sort phrase that makes no since. When we first came here he was fine and asking for us to be together. And now he's near lost his mind."

Patamon asked, "Why do you think that is?"

Scourge said, "To many conflictions with his life. Out of any creature put on this planet his surprisingly has dealt with the most for so long. It was all bottled in before. I managed his pain. Now he can't find what's right and what's wrong. Everything to him might seem like one memory merging together. He believes in everything he has seen rather it being real or fake. From start to finish, he's been he longer than either of us. I hope that fate doesn't serve us one day."

Patamon said, "I was just about to ask why I wouldn't be doing that yet."

Scourge said, "Maybe because for you it's just coming together piece by piece and it's running smoothly if anything. For him all that mixing it taking place now and it's got his brain all worked up. I already know my life well enough to not be conflicted."

Patamon asked, "What has been your life?"

Scourge said, "I was conflicted at birth and had to deal with the fact that I had a much nicer clone living out a life of perfection. I was envious and wanted his life. So I constructed a way to ruin his life. I posed as him and broke him away from his friends and loved ones. I made Sonic suffer until I became more powerful than him. That's when I became like this. I never even try to fight him to much as he had his own friend barking for a fight. I tailgated here in search for a new power. That's when I ran into Veemon. It just so happened the day before his little hatchling idea with immortal. What I saw was a weak creature before me but that was the lie I was fed to when I was instilled into the program. I saw it was the creator trying to bend me to what I felt comforted too. Truth was I knew at the time Veemon was stronger than me. The lie became so vivid they were trying to caste it off as some project they manifested that looked like Veemon. That was the big lie. There never was project. It really was Veemon who took fancy to Stitch after Monodramon ran interference. That made the creator look to me as the chip to solve this mix up. I pretended to play to his puppet and found myself ruler of another planet. I saw all the fear and mix up play out from there. I had no intention on coming back after my first run but then it was the creators project that came back and try to convince me otherwise I came back knowing I was strong enough to face Veemon's real wrath even then. I took the world by storm a second time and then I saw a light in you. Out of all creatures I saw something in you I never seen before. It's why I called you out in the first place. With my skills still pretending to be in his influence I gave you any hints that I could without actually spilling that entire thing. As far as I see the creator still thing I play by his game out here. But I've been training hoping on the off chance you'd seek me out and here you are. Thing is I don't ever remember seeing any other time beside that point. That brings me back to confliction because you said I personally messed with your mind. Truth is I don't know you that well at all. I might have seen you but was too busy messing around. Don't think I had something against you, I'll I know is your name and things Monodramon kept telling me."

Patamon said, "Monodramon sure does find the worst times to try to make things right. He and Tails seem to have the curtsey to do that a lot."

Scourge said, "I see it in your eyes. You think they know something. That they might be a piece in the puzzle for both of us and it turns might solve who or what is behind this huge game that's clearly been going on too long. Then it's clear we need to find them."

Patamon asked, "So you're in?"

Scourge put his shades back on and smirked, "Let's ride."

Patamon asked, "What about Impmon?"

Scourge said, "Something tells me he'll still be here when we get back."

They got on his motorcycle and rode off into the city.

Stitch was put into a cell not to imprison him but to keep him from doing harm in lashing out. He hands were chained and so were his legs so he couldn't claw at himself. It was Veemon who watched him. Stitch awoke with a fury and pull of absolute rage.

Veemon said calmly, "Calm down. Look I'm sorry for everything I put you through. What I said was something I shouldn't have. I didn't love you but I felt so right saying at the time. I was petrified and alone after a lie that was told to me. I couldn't help but believe it. I thought I was alone and you gave yourself to me so willingly that I got carried away. It's all Monodramon's fault. He led you don't a treacherous road of lies and deceit. He blinded you with anger as he had blinded me with fear. You let your anger blind you when I came into the sewers to try to stop Monodramon once and for all but you stopped me. I couldn't talk it out of you so I had to do something I deep regret. I never wanted to hit you. But you gave me no choice. What I didn't realize was that Monodramon tricked me again and led you away to feed you more lies. I ended up in a loop of madness and Impmon's attempt at redemption. I saw that Monodramon had long had contact with Impmon for a while. I needed to track Imp and tell him the truth. I didn't think he'd believe me but he did and ran off with Scourge. I never thought we get the chance to see you again. Angel had come to us earlier but before that there was Natasha. We felt that we could bring you all together. The creator never wanted a fight to break out. You managed to get Natasha but when Angel came back it was the lies that Monodramon fed you that stirred about inside. We begged you to stop but you reacted too quickly. We were looking to find Monodramon and hope to seek all our vengeance on him. He is the one who created this darkness that holds so many of us bound by lies he started. Now he thinks he can hide himself away. Join us Stitch and together we can finish off the nightmare once and for all."

Stitch remained motionless after he finished. Veemon left leaving Steve to take it in. He might as well fell like how imp did when Veemon told him the truth. Everything he knew coming in was veiled in and drenched with lies. He felt the honesty brush of Veemon the peaceful nature to Veemon's words calmed him on one part of his life. He still had to deal with the fact that he got carried away and took out his lifelong lover out in the process of his rage.

Scourge road of to where he last knew of Monodramon's whereabouts. Scourge stopped in front of the mansion that server so long to be the place where they thought Veemon was slumbering. He figured if Monodramon was anywhere it would be here.

Patamon asked, "I don't get why where here."

Scourge said, "This is where they told everyone where Veemon was slumbering. But that was a clear set lie. Which means either he's still here living that lie or he's found out the truth and gone off somewhere else. I figured I met as well check here first to see if he's still delusional."

They checked the entire mansion out to find he was no were in sight.

Patamon asked, "Now what?"

Scourge said, "Monodramon told me all his locations to find in any predicament. I think I know where he strolled himself over to."

Scourge got back on with pat and the rode far south west into a forest. In the forest was small hut and they could see Monodramon inside the hut. Monodramon looked out see them come up.

Manny got out and sat on the log and asked, "Hey mate lookin' for some business."

Patamon asked to Scourge, "Why is he talking so differently?"

Scourge said, "Because this is the freed Monodramon. Figures you'd hide out here and not got to the desert selling you famous beer. You have too much rep to be pulling a stunt like that at this time."

Monodramon said, "I take caution to the wind. Who's ya' cute littla' friend here."

Patamon asked, "You don't know me?"

Monodramon said, "I don't reckon you. But you're all cute with your twenty questions and all."

Scourge said, "I know for a fact you remember Veemon though."

Monodramon smiled, "Oh that little handsome devil. Had a good time with him till' he all gets on up and leaves without saying goodbye. Thought the boy sought out love. He was too darn confused and active. Truth was he just wanted help in that there desert so I gave it to him free of charge. He was cute and really good though. It's tough seeing one like that just wonderin' aimlessly through the desert so desperately lookin' for a good time. But that's not all the boy was searching for and I could tell just by lookin' in his eyes. I figure he kept heading east looking, searching."

Patamon asked, "What was he searching for?"

Monodramon said, "Got me. All I know was the dragon was just too anxious. When he came here he was in bad shape done there. I all think I did was let him release and let him find his own way."

Patamon said, "Wait was this your first time meeting Veemon?"

Scourge looked to him as if that was a stupid question but then Monodramon said, "Yup. Came up and left."

Scourge said, "Ok now this really is getting odd. We were told by the creator that you went up to Veemon and lied about Gatomon?"

Monodramon looked confused, "Lie? I only greeted the boy I looked to him saw he was in that bad shape and sent him off after I was done. And I don't even reckon a Gatomon being mentioned."

Patamon asked, "So you don't know Gatomon...At all?"

Monodramon said, "I've seen many creatures my way. Most don't ever say much not even to a name unlike the boy. He had a funny way about being out of the closet. He said it was for research or somethin'. Most other folk just mind their own business. The bar wasn't a very social place in other words."

Patamon asked, "Do you ever recall seeing a white female cat your bar?"

Monodramon recalled, "Now that you mention it there was cat once, only she was black."

Patamon asked, "BlackGatomon came to your bar. What was she there for?"

Monodramon said, "What else but to drink. I gave a look to her eyes. Seemed rather upset about somethin' she didn't speak and it didn't look like she wanted to be spoke to so I let her be."

Patamon said to Scourge, "This got us nowhere. If anything I more confused than I've ever been in my life."

Scourge said, "Looks to me like a wild goose chase but with a catch. There has to be an end. I say we find BlackGatomon and see what she's been up to."

Patamon asked, "Is there a reason you're starting to blush?"

Scourge said, "Me and her once had a thing even if it was false. Veemon probably got to her to but I'm thinking she'll lead us to someone else."

Patamon asked, "And how will that help?"

Scourge said, "Think of it as guess who. Keeping hearing all this mixed up stories to we find that one that doesn't belong. And that might just be our culprit."

They got back on.

Scourge asked, "Any idea where she went after?"

Monodramon said, "From the look I got she wanted to be alone. Just looked to be a city dweller and well if there one thing I know is that she would want to be alone."

Scourge said, "You better come with us. I'm thinking you're going want to see the end result."

Monodramon got on quickly wrapping around Patamon. It only made pat only somewhat discomforted but he didn't really do much. They got to the city and found themselves in the deserted areas. They got off seeing her on one of the buildings. Monodramon got off first and as soon as Patamon got Monodramon tried holding Patamon's hand. Patamon shoved off not trying to seem too rude of doing it.

Patamon said, "I'd rather not."

Monodramon said, "Yeah, I figured as much. I know your seekin' someone else out, just thought I try though. You have the boys scent on you. He's got to you too."

Patamon asked, "You can smell his scent."

Monodramon said, "You sure ask a lot of questions. But yeah that is one thing I can do. Though his scent has changed a little it's still somewhat the same. He got you in with little adorable behaviors. That boy is like a magnet that pulls ya' in. And it's real hard to let go of, especially his kiss."

Patamon just looked back up. All three of them walked up to her as she sat their seeming to be meditating.

Scourge said, "Long time no see, if the phrase I'm lookin' for."

Her voice was dense as she asked, "What are you doing here?"

Scourge said, "Wow, so you even recognize my voice, how sweet. Didn't mean to leave you here and what seemed to be like something so genuine but that's why we're here. It's beyond a conspiracy theory at this point. Something going done and we're all involved. Our memories all mixed up and what's seems to be like an ultimate way to have us go up and wild on each other. Seems to be working since more fights keep braking out, so whoever is behind this is having their way and we need your help."

She stood up and said, "Sounds like a farfetched excuse to leave."

Scourge took off his shades and said, "Sorry about leaving. Evil was still in my nature than. Had to look into the mirror and figure out who the real me was. The past was so mixed up I didn't think what we had was real anymore. But deep down a part of me knew. I was always believed it was real because it was the first real love I ever had."

BlackGatomon turned around and asked, "How can I even help."

Patamon said, "Monodramon said you came to his bar we need to see if the puzzles in with our memories."

BlackGatomon said, "Well yeah I went to the bar right after this bonehead ran off."

Scourge said, "I don't really know what kind of apology approach to take this time to make you feel better."

BlackGatomon yelled, "You never apologized to me for what you did."

Scourge stood there and slowly lifted up his arm and draped in on her shoulder. She shivered from the tears she was holding in. he came up and whispered, "I'm sorry if it never came across as apologies before but I really did try a lot. But more importantly I'm sorry for just leaving without an explanation."

BlackGatomon cried, "I think I'd like you give you another chance. Thank you."

Patamon randomly asked, "I hate to spoil this moment but do you remember ever running into Veemon?"

BlackGatomon turned whipping her tears away, "I've never actually met him but my sister talked a lot about him."

Patamon said, "Interestingly enough based on my false memory there was a brief period where you dated him."

BlackGatomon said, "Like I said I've never seen him. All I know is my sister had a lot of occupied time with him."

Patamon said, "Seems odd that Veemon is the name that keeps ringing but never truly."

Scourge said, "He might be the missing link in all this. But getting to him now would be difficult considering the situation. And to be processed so far everyone has remembered there first encounter with Veemon not the lying version anyway. He might not have much do with this at all."

Patamon said, "Why would you say that."

Scourge said, "He too as well as maybe even the creator could just be puppets."

Patamon asked, "Then who's pulling the strings."

Scourge said, "I guess that's what were gonna figure out."

Meanwhile Wizardmon went to the beach and stopped at a shadowed figure and Wizardmon said, "Haven't seen you in a while either."

The creature growled, "Have you come to turn me into an immortal?"

Wizardmon said, "I walk on the outside. I always have."

The creature growled, "Maybe you're just as hell-bent as the others. I bet you don't know the real truth."

Wizardmon said, "About Veemon. To be honest I don't know anymore. All this legends keep getting in the way."

The creature growled, "Me and that clown go as far back as the digital world. As a matter of fact we came here together as former partners. After that is when everything went to hell. He changed so much when I thought he came for me. He just wanted to use me like how he did everyone else. I just let him have me to. I saw it in his eyes; that empathy which he does not have. He lost his way. And now I have vengeance in mind."

Wizardmon asked, "You're going to take this out on a guy who just wanted some love?"

The creature growled, "No, I'm going to take this out on my greatest rival since the digital world. We were forced to be partners. I hated his guts. When he came back he seemed so different and I felt like I had no control. It was this world's damn logic. Now I've broken free and I will not stop until Veemon is dead. You tell immortal I'm coming. I will show them that I have returned with a vengeance unlike any other."

The creature emerged from the cave carrying out a long massive double handed sword and he did not come out alone.
