Kingdom Digimon - Christmas Special
(This chapter is not completely canonical to the story events. Some dialogue uses canon information, but I'll leave you to figure out what is canon. This is to serve 2 purposes: 1. To give a glimpse at future personalities, 2. Celebration of the holidays.)
I woke up, laying in bed, coming out of one of the most peaceful sleeps I had ever had. Surprisingly my mate, Rena, was nowhere to be seen. I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I realized there was a slight pain on my backside. I lifted myself to let one of my tails slide out from under me. "Never fails that one of my tails would be under me after a night like that.", I thought aloud. I stood and allowed all nine of my tails to spread out. "Sometimes being a kitsune can be painful." I walked over to the dresser and pulled out my favorite outfit. Some modified jeans that had a tribal version of the Nobody symbol on them and a compression-shirt that had a red dragon on it. I quickly got dressed and walked downstairs. The smell of breakfast was wafting through the house. The house had certainly gotten brighter ever since me and Rena had become life mates. I walked into the kitchen to see my sexy vixen hard at work at the stove. I smiled, remembering at how she turned out to be the better chef of the two of us.
She was humming and swaying her hips slightly as she got into her cooking, unaware of the fact that I had walked into the room. I quietly walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her and held her close.
"Mmmm....I didn't know you came in."
"I figured when you didn't turn around. What's for breakfast?"
"Eggs, bacon and hash-browns."
"Wrong."
I turned her head toward me and planted a kiss on her lips. She turned completely around and wrapped her arms around my neck and leaned more into the kiss. Our tongues entwined and fought for control, a fight I gladly let her win. My hands roamed from her back down a little lower. I gave a quick squeeze to her rear which made her jump a little in surprise. She broke the kiss much to our mutual displeasure.
"I can't be getting riled up now. We have somewhere to be."
"Where?"
"I've been keeping track of the days. Today is a special day back on earth. Its Christmas."
"What is Christmas?"
"It is the most celebrated holiday on earth as far as I know. Its a time of thanks and of being with family. A time of giving. A time for joy. The spirit of this holiday is all of joy. I plan on dragging you to earth with me to go celebrate with the Tamers and their Digimon."
"Ummm...okay."
"Also there is a tradition: to give gifts to each other. I know its short notice but I didn't tell you because I have an idea that will take care of that."
I smirked as I read her mind for the idea. She was right though. It was very short notice. But it will be worth it to see her happy and having a good time. And seeing the Tamers again will be very interesting.
"When do you want to go?"
"As soon as we can. But we have some time to ourselves."
"Good...maybe we can have a breakfast alone this-"
"HELLO!" That voice made me break out in goosebumps.
"I spoke too soon."
My red-head friend Kari burst into the house. Followed shortly after by her boyfriend Marcus.
"Ya know...I'm starting to regret giving her that house key."
"So am I. And I had no say in the matter."
As me and Rena broke apart, Kari burst into the kitchen and wrapped me up into a hug.
"Hey Kari, what's up?"
"Just paying a visit as usual."
"And mooching breakfast again." Marcus added.
"Luckily, I made enough." Rena said, keeping a bit of cheer in her voice.
They walked away into the dining room and I helped Rena get the food finished. She finished frying up the eggs and I finished the hash-browns.
"How long has it been since they started mooching off of us?"
"About three or four months."
"Geez."
We finished quickly and took the plates into the dining room. Rena set their plates in front of them and I set ours at our spots. They waited until we sat down and Kari tore in. Marcus took the time needed to thank us and then followed his girlfriend's example. Me and Rena exchanged glances and then started eating ourselves. To the least, breakfast passed quickly.
"Rena, how do you manage to make us feel so full off of so small a meal?" Marcus asked.
"I don't know. I just make it the way I know how."
"Well you always do the best job." Kari added.
"Thank you both."
"I hate to do this because its been so short but we have something to get ready for." I said.
"And what might that be?"
"We have to pay a visit for a special occasion."
"To where?"
"Earth. Apparently today is a special holiday for them."
"Would you mind if we tag along?"
Marcus intervened though. "Sorry hun. I have to say that I don't like either possible way of traveling there. I don't like the Dark Corridor and the Digital World is too violent. I don't feel like fighting anything or risking our hearts just to go to some celebration."
"But-"
"Kari, will you honestly sit here and tell me you would take that kind of risk?"that
"I...I guess not."
"Come on hun. Let's let them get ready. And I'll make it up to you, I promise."
The wink he gave her made me feel uneasy. I knew I could trust him but the fact that it seemed he was shacking up with my best friend was unnerving under any circumstance. They stood and started making their way to the door.
"As usual, it was good. And we'll see you when you get back. Whenever that is."
"Ok Kari. We'll let you know."
We embraced each other. Marcus stood there watching. Even though he knew I had a lover, it still seems he likes to keep an eye on me around his. I let go of her and turned to Marcus. He held his arm up unextended. I crossed his arm with mine and our forearms formed an X.
"To the Garden."
"May she thrive on."
He let Kari leave first and followed her out. I turned to Rena to see her giving me a funny look as in 'you just made yourself look like an idiot'.
"What's with the look hun?"
"You little squad was disbanded a good time ago. Why do you still do that?"
"Because I still feel a certain sense of loyalty to Radiant Garden. I still want to find a place where we can live in peace together though. This place still seems to have something against us being together."
She walked up to me, her tail swishing behind her and her hips swaying slightly suggestively.
"Don't let it get to you, sweetie. You always told me that as long as we have each other everything would be alright." She leaned against me and I wrapped my arms around her.
"I know. But I still would like a place where we are accepted."
"It would be nice but you have to realize that place may not exist."
I rested my head on the top of hers and we stood there holding each other. Somehow just that much was enough to remove those thoughts from my head.
"So do I need to get dressed up for this?"
"Not really. This kind of thing isn't usually a formal affair. But I do want you looking as good as you can."
"I'll do my best."
"That's all I need to hear."
I tilted her head up and gave her a quick peck to the lips.
"Are you going to do anything to get ready?"
"Besides wash up and clean my fur not much I can do."
"Not for that. I meant for this." I reached down cupped one of her breasts. She tensed and drew in a quick hiss of breath.
"Rich, I told you I want to leave as soon as we can. If we do this now, we'll never get going."
"You got me on that one." I let her go. "I'm gonna go spruce up for what its worth."
"I'll be done in a bit. I need a shower."
"Ok hun."
We went upstairs. She went into the restroom and I went into my room. A few minutes later, I heard the water start running. I walked over to my dresser and grabbed a comb off of it. I tried to work my fur into something presentable, yet it persisted on remaining unruly. By the time I had finished with the fur on my body, I was frustrated enough that I didn't even bother with my tails. Rena walked out of the restroom, her fur still damp.
"Having issues?"
"Yeah. It seems that it wants to ignore me and stay messed up."
"Here, let me help."
She grabbed my comb and started working on my tails for me. Within minutes, she had them looking neat and tidy.
"It pays to have someone who knows what they're doing around. I still have to learn how to do that."
"A lot of practice hun."
I stood and fanned my tails out.
"Wow...that actually makes it feel a whole lot better."
"It breathes when you do that." She got up and grabbed her gloves out of a drawer. "We should be good to leave in a second." She put on one glove and was in the middle of putting on the second one when I embraced her from behind and started kissing her neck.
"I keep telling you that we can't do anything right now."
"I can't help it. You look so sexy right now and I'm in the mood."
"At least try to contain yourself until tonight, please."
"Fine. I'm holding you to that, love."
"I knew you would."
I let her finish getting ready. By the time she was done, she looked amazing. Her fur was pristine and combed. Her gloves were brand new. Her old ones had been destroyed in our last battle.
"You look amazing, babe."
"You cleaned up better than I thought you would in that."
"I don't know whether to take that as a compliment or insult," I chuckled.
"Take it as both," she giggled.
"So, should I just put us back in the park like the first time?"
"That would be best. I can find my way around from there."
"Alright, lets get this show on the road."
I walked downstairs and headed outside with Rena behind me. I let her catch up to me and put an arm around her waist.
"So, what do you say we give your sister a surprise?"
"I can imagine the look on her face."
I closed my eyes and felt my way through the worlds. I felt every connection and found the one I was looking for. I found the shortcut path from Radiant Garden to Earth. I let my Dark power seep into the path and open a door for us. I let my Light seep into it as well in order to keep the Darkness at bay and lessen the strains on our hearts. Soon enough a Dark Corridor was opened.
"Ladies first."
Rena walked through and I followed behind her. The trip was instantaneous and soon we stood in the park of the town we learned was called Shinjukou. I could feel Rena's mental presence extend outward almost immediately. As fast as she extended her's I could feel another one respond.
"They'll be here in a few minutes."
I looked down at her. "Interesting discovery. I just heard everything you and Vixen said. Apparently I am part of your family link now."
"I figured that would happen. With you and me being mates, that opened you up to my family link."
"Let's just hope she accepts me into the family."
We found the tree that Rena saved me from the Darkness in. It was here that our relationship first really began. It was here that she gave me a glimpse of her powers. We both jumped into the tree and found a strong branch that we could both sit on. We sat there and held onto each other and waited for the Tamers to get here. By the time they did show up, me and her were dozing off.
"Hello!"
"Is there anyone here?"
Two different voices shouted. I recognized them. The first was the red haired Tamer, Rika. And the second was the blue haired Tamer, Henry. Rena sat up and we looked down at the confused group. Me and Rena shared a chuckle. Them and about five others were looking around for us.
"And you're sure they said they would be here, Renamon?" Rika asked.
"Yes. This spot exactly. I know they wouldn't wander off." Vixen said.
We dropped off of the tree in the middle of the group.
"Boo." This caused all of them to jump and spin on the spot to look at us. No one seemed to even recognize me. Rena stepped forward.
"Hey sis. Its been awhile." Rena held her arms out to Vixen. Vixen suddenly ran forward and embraced her smaller sibling.
"Its good to see you again Rena. For a second we thought you and this person had come to attack us."
"Don't be silly sis. We would never."
"Who is this though? What happened to that human you were with. Rich?"
"It is me Vixen. I'm Rich."
She let go of her sister and turned to give me a look that said, 'Are you crazy. There is no way.'
"It is him Vixen. We had an 'interesting' occasion happen to us. Something happened after biomerging that caused some of my Digital Code to permanently merge with his DNA."
Jaws hit the ground as the listened. I fanned my tails behind me. After a bit of an explanation everyone soon understood what had happened.
"You two seem to have had a very difficult time since we last saw you." Henry spoke.
"You have no idea." Rena said.
"But lets not dwell on that. Its over now and we're here to have a good time. Why don't we get introduced? I don't know some of you." I said.
A few minutes later, we were acquainted with the extra members we didn't know. There was Kazu and his partner Guardromon, Kenta and his partner MarineAngemon, Jeri and her reborn partner Elecmon and Ryo and his partner Cyberdramon.
"Are there a lot more of you now or was everyone just not here last time?"
"Just not here. You guys did show up and leave pretty quickly both times." Takato said.
"Good point."
"So why are you here?" Rika asked.
"We came to celebrate Christmas with you guys." Rena answered.
"Oh wow. You came all this way just to celebrate with us?" Henry asked.
"It wasn't all that long. It was about a 5 second trip."
"How? If what they have told me is true and you are from another world, how was the trip that short?" Ryo asked.
"I have certain abilities. This one allowed me to create a path to your world that we could use."
"You must have some very unique abilities."
"To you maybe but there are others that have them."
"Well...lets get going. We were all headed over to Rika's place for a party." Takato ventured.
"That sounds like a good idea. Why don't we get going?"
"It'll be nice to have you around for the holiday sis." Vixen said.
"Yeah. I had this planned this out. All I needed was your approval." Rena said.
"Well...you have it." Rika and Vixen said.
We all shared stories of our adventures on the way back to Rika's home. Them telling about the various Digimon they've had to battle. Some they only won with luck like Vixen barely Digivolving to beat a Dokugomon. It seemed like they knew what we went through fairly well.
We arrived at Rika's home and were greeted warmly. After a few more introductions, I knew Rika's mother, Rumika, and her grandmother, Seiko. It was interesting explaining how I looked to them. But once Seiko knew what had happened she convinced her daughter that I was not a freak but something unique. Me and Rena were welcomed with open arms.
The party started and everyone was having a great time. Takato and Jeri were begging to do the gift exchange but Henry and Rika kept telling them to wait for the last two guests. I was watching Rena and Vixen talk and catch up when suddenly a bust of fire hit the ground at my feet. Out of pure reflex, I summoned my Oathkeeper. I knew I wouldn't have a need for both of them.
"Whoa whoa...calm down there. I wasn't tryin to attack ya."
A purple Digimon with red gloves and a red scarf with a yellow face with a grin and fangs stepped out from behind a corner.
"What the...?"
I let my Keyblade dissipate back into Light.
"Little jumpy there eh? Nice trick with the light show. So what do they call ya?"
"Rich."
"Well Richie, I'm Impmon. Never seen someone like ya before. You look like those two fox faces but with more tails. So what is the deal with the light show?"
"Long story Impmon. Not right now. And don't call me Richie please."
"Why not Richie?"
"Because I don't like the name."
"All the more reason."
I sighed, shook my head and smiled. "You're crazy you know that?"
"Maybe. But who knows? Now I'm gonna go mingle."
I chuckled as he walked away. Suddenly a knock sounded at the door. Rika opened it and a man in jeans only walked in. He looked about mid-twenties to early thirties. I looked in bewilderment as Rumika walked over and hugged the man.
"This is Demin. He is a wandering photographer and worked with me at the modeling company for a time."
Demin greeted all of them in turn but when he came over to me it was a bit of a staring match. I felt like I knew him.
"Wait...I know you. You're not from earth either. You used to live on my world. Radiant Garden."
"How did you know?"
"Because you were a family friend. I may not look it but I'm Little Rich."
"That's impossible. Hang on...no...its not. I recognize you now. Wow...you are amazingly different."
It was hard to believe another person from Radiant Garden was here. And had managed to keep it on the down low. The party moved on and it didn't show any signs slowing down soon. I decided to give everyone some entertainment by doing a little sparring match with Rena. It started out as a light match but the more we fought the more intense it got. We even started casting a few spells at each other. By the end, I had Oathkeeper and Oblivion out and clashed against hers. We were breathing hard and sweating. I jumped back from her and relaxed as I knew the fight was done at that point. My Keyblades faded back into their respective elements. As soon as Rena let hers go, everyone started applauding.
"Wow, that was amazing!" Takato said.
"It was like a dance." Henry said a little more cool headed.
"Do you two do that often?" Rumika asked.
"Not really. This was a far stretch from what our real practice matches are like." I said.
"This was far more intense. We never fight that hard." Rena said.
"Well it kept us entertained." Ryo said. "Even Cyberdramon watched the whole thing."
"It cetainly kept me entertained too."
Everyone turned at the new voice.
"Hey Peace." Rika said. "Glad you could make it."
"Glad I could make it." he said.
Peace was a young man. Couldn't be past his early twenties. He worse jeans and a red and green T-shirt. As soon as introductions were taken care of and some pleasant chatting passed, we all went inside for the gift exchange. Me and Rena stood off to the side because we knew we wouldn't get anything and had nothing to give...at least not yet. Everyone continually apologized for not having anything to give us and every time we had to tell them not to worry.
It was late at night now and everything was winding down. Most of us had lost track of time. Me and Rena were fine but most of the others were passing out on the floor.
"I don't know if we can give them the gift tonight, Rena."
"Most likely not. With everyone passing out. Oh well...we'll just make it up to them."
"Yeah. It seems like everything is winding down. Why don't we get home?"
"Yeah. Not much else is going to happen. I get that feeling."
Me and Rena walked around and said our goodbyes to those who were still awake. We walked outside and were followed. They wanted to see how we travel from world to world. I opened another Dark Corridor back home. All behind us were in shock. We said a final goodbye and walked through, leaving some bewildered Tamers in our wake.
We arrived back home and I walked in the door and Rena right behind. I collapsed onto the couch, making sure I was face up so Rena could drop on top of me.
"Didn't think we wold be this tired."
"Neither did I."
"Think you have it in you to keep you promise?" I smirked at her.
"I just may." She crawled up on me and kissed me. Lightly at first but then it became more passionate. More frenzied.
She broke the kiss and gave me a lustful look. "Let's take this somewhere more... comfortable."
"No argument here."
She got up and gave me a little show. She bent over, giving me a beautiful look at her luscious ass and her treasure. She was already excited and just looking at it got me ready. She turned around, still bent over, and looked at me. But my attention was pulled to her breasts.
"You like what you see?"
I couldn't even nod, I was so entranced. She giggled and walked upstairs. Continually swaying her hips the whole way. I got up and followed, losing an article of clothing every step of the way. By the time I reached the top of the stairs, I was completely naked and standing at attention. I walked into our shared room and saw Rena sitting on the bed, legs spread.
"Gonna make me wait?"
I walked over and laid her back, ignoring her spread treasure for the moment. I kissed her and then started working my way down. When I got to her breasts, her nipples were rock hard.
