The lost and the Gained
To the eyes of one I am a monster and to the eyes of another I am a lover. I lay my defenses to rest wishing I could right that that I believed has been wronged. I beg for forgivness only to recieve spite and as I bleed from my mortal wound I lose my grip on reality. The promise made now lying in the wreckage of the past. I cry on the inside watching life shatter me and scatter my remains across the world. Then he a wolf who touched my heart brought my cold lifeless heart back to warmth and happiness. Everything in life has a price and the price can be great in order to acquire what the soul desires and needs. Breaking the barriers of anger and fear as I press my lips against his feeling the truth flow through me like water from a broken dam. The promise I broke now slowly fading away into the endless dark abyss where there is no return. My dear Ashley I am sorry I could not be your perfect boyfriend, however I trust that one day you will see the greater picture and comprehend why I had to let you go. The peace of green grassy hills under a warm and slightly windy blue sky is where this wolf lays hoping that his sancturary is eternal with his new mate. As the flowers bloom around him his fur shining like a beacon of hope to those who have suffered similar fates. The red roses surrounding the wolf is finally whole once more and as the world continues to insue with conflict and anarchey this paradise is my safe haven. His heart, mind, and sould in aggreement it is decided, I refuse to die and I refuse to suffer. His howl of pride now echoing through the fields. " I will survive and thrive, I wll fight for my happiness and I will protect all who share a place in my heart".
