purple's camping trip

It was a normal day for me and David, we teleported to a dragon's cave to protect them seeing as they had called us, they loved me most of all, if they had hatchlings I could play with them or if they were going to have one then I could act like one it was great, David would just sit at the edge of the cave looking for hunters or people after dragon's, mum or dad would go over and talk to David just to keep him company but he just said nothing he was more a watcher then a talker.
As I played with the hatchlings they told me what was going down, they were going on they were going on a camping trip, I said "what's that?" They said it where you go away and camp for a few days, they were going in a group, I said "cool can I go?" one of them looked in a area of the cave, it was a big cave very large enough room for even more dragon's, he looked in a box and found a bit of paper it was for the parents to fill in to go on the trip it also had a list of things that where needed or they would need.
David teleported the items to me and we set off on the back of mum, it was cool flying though the air, David just sat and watched the others and me, we watched the sky go past us it was so cool, soon landed at the campsite, David and me and the others hopped off, there were 3 of us, one of was all black with a silver under side, his name was moon he shined in the moon light and he was a bit like David, then there was yellow she was a very nice sun shine yellow and she was great she loved to play with me, then there was Jimi, he was blue but he had a special mark on him it was in green on his left side of his back leg, the mark was in the shape of a star, as we all hopped off mum the dragon leader appeared we were all very happy and sat as the mums and dads left.
We where alone in the darkest parts of the woods David just sat by the fire smoking, as we looked at how to put up our tents, miss dragon as she liked to be called showed us and then it was our turn, it looked easy but it wasn't, I get mine up but it fell down in the middle, Jimi forgot to tie it to the ground and it flapped away he flow after it, yellow got it up but went inside and it fell on top of her she had forgotten the middle pole, silver just looked and did it like a pro because he took his time and it was done like miss dragon showed us, after a few hours of working we got them up it was great we had shelter, David just sat there then miss told us about our pocket knives, "okay kids now then, we will be using these but what we must not do is danger ourselves", David then teleported over and took hold of the pen knife, "okay you really only need to use one and that's this one" he pulled out the main knife, "it can be used for cutting rope and other things when you are done with it put it like this and then place into your bag" miss dragon was amazed even though he looked un-safe he said the right things just not the right way.
We then sat around the fire roasting mash mellows they where tasty David just sat there while miss dragon went off to get more wood for the fire, she was a very nicely built dragon large but could easily take down anything twice her size she was about 9'0 or more well she looked like that tall from my height, we told story's ghost stories, there where tame always ending silly and we all laughed, then David teleported over and said "I can tell you a good horror ghost story", the other listened Jimi was a little bit scared so he flew into his tent and went to bed some of the other did to, the rest of us listened to the bad tail as David teleported more wood to the fire.
"This is the tail of old dragon", we looked on and David lobbed something into the fire it flared up, we all gasped but wooed "he is said to live in these woods and loves to take little dragon's away and turn them into herms! He will creep up on you while you're in your tent and then look and take you away and change you into a herm", we looked on and held each other, well except for moon he just sat there ignore it, "that's a load of nonsense, if he did live around here then miss dragon would have walked on to somewhere else" David looked and said "ah but he may live here but its only to get some dragons then he takes then back to his hide" me and sunny got very worried as moon yawned and flow into his tent which then feel down, we laughed and looked he just looked at us and then re-did his tent.
After a few hours miss dragon returned and she saw that David was the only still up, me and sunny where asleep but my the fire, David was playing his guitar and we feel asleep, he then carried us into our tents and put us to bed, miss dragon dropped the wood, it was wet and no good, "where'd you find that dry stuff?" she asked David "simple I teleported it" she looked at David and sat down and then went into her tent David had no tent so shared it with miss dragon and she was a load sleeper, oh it kept me awake and sunny and Jimi, moon just slept though it he could sleep though anything.
Me and sunny and Jimi read our comic books they where comics on captain dragon commander of the S.S. dragon, he traveled though time and space to save other planets from the evil doctor fox, we then heard a noise we got out our knifes but then we put them away seeing as it was too risky we then looked a dark finger moved in the dark we said tougher "old dragon tail", we hid but I looked and then saw him take moon I leaped up and so did sunny we attacked the nasty dragon tail or so we thought it was then Jimi turned on the lamp we had and it was miss dragon, "oops" we all said and she was not happy in the morning she talked to us and we hiked onwards it was very trying but David just kept up with miss dragon while a few of us painted the kit we had was heavy we then stopped and make camp.
By now we were very hungry and we started a fire so now it was time to learn how to cook something to eat, miss dragon light the camp fire and we each got out our pans which were made of tin and had a folding handle, we then got out the soup we been given, and got the water out we then cooked our food and it was great it tasted nice pan fire soup it was then time to pitch our tents, this was again funny to watch, but it was also very hard to do as we had rain.
The rain poured down and the fire went out David just sat in the rain and played his guitar and we watched from out tents even miss dragon did it was too wet for anything, then it thundered.
We waited for it to stop thundering, then miss dragon's tent was taken away by a big gust of wind we looked and saw her fly up into the trees, we then looked for her but David said "no" as we'd get wet and wouldn't be able to use our fire to light the way and might die, we then sheltered in one tent seeing as ours where blown away we huddled tougher and waited a few of us sleeted and some of us looked on at the storm, David watched it and I soon went to bed when it got a bit quieter and went to sleep.
In the morning it was very muddy and wet we pack up what was left of our camp and set out to look for miss dragon a few had gone home as it was too scary and David teleported them back home with a note it was just the four of us we started to look for miss dragon, we looked and we did it in three ways I was as high as I could go sunny was under me in the middle and David was at the base looking, I then found her tent and ours it was all ripped and it was shaped like dragon claws but really big ones I pulled it down and David looked then moon sniffed it and flow over to a area that was over grown, David got his sword out and hacked though the trees and things then we found her bag it was in a mess all torn and Jimi got scared and so did sunny and I was too but moon just kept going not showing anything.
We then found bits of tent it was like she had left a trail for us to follow and that what we did we followed it and it lead us to a cave, the cave was dark and big we looked in and that when the trail stopped, we then saw two passage ways and then Jimi who was a big of a pig smelled food and then went down a passage way and we herd rustlings he'd found a candy bar we knew this was miss dragon's as it was her favorite sweet, we walked and looked at the bats that few past us, we then saw a glow it was red and there was miss dragon, we looked as she was tied up and we then clamed we David did but we didn't we flew down.
She was tied up and then David was hit on the head by something we then saw a big black dragon we yelled "AHHHH IT DRAGON TAIL!" we huddled and I teleported us out, just as his tail landed on where we where, he looked and then David got up and said "oh this isn't good" he was then pounded again and miss dragon said something which was "ouch that's got to hurt, look out for his tail".
All four of us fell to the ground and we looked at each other, "what are we going to do?" sunny asked "I know what I'm doing" said moon "I'm leaving! That dragon's too powerful for us" he flapped his wings and left Jimi looked at moon flying but then said "I'll stay here but only because David needs us!"
In the cave dragon tail was sleeping miss dragon looked as David was out cold on the floor mind you a 20 ton dragon's tail would knock any one out, miss dragon moved but couldn't get free she then tried for her pocket and dropped one of her sweets, right by the dragon's nose it was peppermint so it was powerful the dragon just blow it away to David who sniffed it and started to wake up but so did dragon tail he looked and saw David coming around and again hit him hard with his tail.
Outside that cave me sunny and Jimi where thinking "how can we save David from that beast?" I thought of loads of thing but they where no good as it was half backed idea's then Jimi had an idea from looking at the remains of the tents "I've got an idea!" we all listened to the idea that Jimi had and it sounded great.
We got some old twigs and made them into a nice dragon looking shape then started to put the tent remains over the twigs, then we went into the cave, it was dark and we herd sleeping dragon tail was asleep, "shhh" I said as we snuck in, I looked and saw miss dragon and told her to be quite then we moved the dragon into place.
"hay there mister big dragon, I'm a young dragoness in need of help" the dragon awoke and looked, at his cave door was our model of a dragoness, inside was sunny and Jimi the dragon looked and sniffed then Jimi let off some sent of dragoness and he started to smell it, he fell in love and the ran towards them.
As he did sunny and Jimi with all their power pushed the dragoness tent thing out of the cave, he followed all sweet and waiting her, in the mean time I got in and untried miss dragon who carried the knocked out David.
Sunny and Jimi ran towards the lake they knew dragon's unless there a water dragon hate water, they then flew out from the sides and the dragoness tent thing went down the hill and into the lake at that moment it hit the lake dragon tail woke up and looked but we'd thought of that too, we got behind him and pushed the mud on the hill was very wet and very unsafe so we pushed him but he dug his claws in and then miss dragon pushed but even her power was unmatched to his then we looked and walked back and we were pinned agents a tree.
He licked his lips and then I shouted "DAVID!" to which David awoke, and looked, he then got up and charged dragon tail, dragon tail wasn't ready for that and the sudden hit made him lose his footing and he skidded down the muddy hill, we cheered and thanked David but then dragon tail's tail came and wrapped around David he had dug his claws into the bank and was clawing his way back up.
David tried to make the tail around him go away but he couldn't, I was so mad first he destroys our tent area then takes miss dragon then hits David out, my rage started to grow I then teleported onto his face and even though I was a hatchling I built up some fire and with all my rage behind it I hit him in the face with red fire.
David looked as the tail let him go then it went for me, I still hit him with fire, he growled and his tail slapped him in the face as I teleported away before it hit me, I then flew into the sky's he followed and David looked on as Jimi and sunny flew up to help as well.
In the mean time moon was thinking about what he'd done, leaving us there and not even thinking he just left, he then turned around and raced back.
As I flew into the sky's higher and higher he followed I was now very tried but I kept going, I then looked and saw sunny and Jimi flying towards me I then turned and headed for him he opened his mouth and I moved to the left while sunny went under him and with her sharp claws made sure that he'd fell that and he did he roared in pain and then Jimi with his sharp teeth bit dragon's tails tail oh that must have hurt by now I was better and started to place itching powder on his back he looked and started to itch he didn't however notice the ground getting closer to him.
T-H-U-D! Was herd as he hit the ground and you saw the dent in the ground, we flew down to David I was out of it though and fell towards earth as well, but David caught me, and hugged me and then hugged the other two but as we did the ground rumbled and there was dragon tail looking beat up and very angry, we looked but all three of us where tried, and David was still a little un sure where he was and miss dragon wasn't much help as her sweets as she lobbed them he ate then which seemed to power him up, just as we thought we dragon food moon showed up!
"You will not hurt my friends!" We looked and moon glowed a very nice icy blue, he then uttered some words and the blue began to glow more powerful he then looked at us and his eyes were blue, dragon tail looked and then put one of his big feet onto moon, we looked and the glow came again, it then made dragon tail fly into the tree he cornered us with.
If he wasn't angry now he'd be mad now he roared and blew fire! We ducked out of the way but moon just stood there uttering some words at this time David woke up fully and look at moon who was glowing even more, "no It can't be" "what?" I asked David unsure of what was going on "moon has a hidden power like you all get but only older, purple yours is teleporting and staying the same size, sunny, yours is bring sun shine to everyone, Jimi yours is powerful jaws and great power moon is darkness he can, well" "well what?" I asked waiting to know more, "he could destroy dragon tail but at the same time destroy himself if he doesn't know how to use the power right".
I looked and he then opened his eyes as the fire hit him for a second time, he then got down onto his knees then got into a running position and started to run.
"this is it he going to head butt him!" we looked as moon charged towards dragon tail who at the same time started to charge as well, Jimi, sunny miss dragon and me closed our eyes David didn't though.
Moon hit his top speed it was almost so load it could break the sound barrier but then dragon tail head started to glow red he was going to hit moon at his top speed as well!
We looked and then looked as both hit each other with a bone crunching sound it was so bad I had to cover my ears from it and then the ground started to shake and the two dragons went flying! Dragon tail went out of the world and kept going who knows when he'll stop, as for moon he stayed on the ground but was shoot backwards, he went flying, even though his claws dug in he couldn't control the power as David had said he was going to die but then David teleported over and saw that moon was in pain but it was pain from the power he done not hurt pain but power pain, he then stopped.
His eyes where wide open and he was lifeless, Jimi sniffed him but nothing, sunny kissed him but nothing, then a very powerful white light came down from the sky, to me it looked like I'd seen it before, then the most beautiful dragoness came down.
David looked "it can't be!" she just looked and nodded "purple meet the person who saved you, if it weren't for her I would have never found you and we wouldn't have been able to save you", I looked and then I remembered her and then I said "thank you for saving, but please can you save our friend" the others came too, she just looked and nodded and spoke in a voice that sounded like our mum's soft and sweet and clamming.
"I can save your friend but he must start again he used his power too soon but he knew about his power and used it for good, now he must go back to his first life as an egg" she touched the lifeless moon and he turned into an egg, then she looked and said "he was a good person and he knew what his mistake was so he came back to you to help but he saved you".
The egg floated towards David who held onto it and then miss dragon yawned and fell to the ground for some reason we felt tried as well and we felt sleepy but for some reason we couldn't fight it we yawned and feel asleep, except for David who as I looked before going to sleep, kissed the angle and I heard her sing as we slept.
When we awoke the next morning I looked and I was back in the cave, I yawned and looked there was sunny and Jimi, then I looked but no moon, I then found David at the edge of the cave holding an egg I then looked and saw moon's mum and dad come home, they hugged sunny and Jimi then looked for moon but all they saw was the egg then David took then into their little area and told them what had happened, as for us? We where sad and thought of moon, how he'd saved us and got rid of the nasty dragon tail.
For the next few months we waited for moon to hatch but nothing, mouths rolled into years and then years rolled into decades then 30 years later the egg started to hatch, sunny was there and so was Jimi, and the egg broke and there was a small dragon it was moon, he spoke and said "what I miss?" we hugged him and in a few seconds he grew back into his normal shape.
After that we learned how to use our powers, sunny used her powers to warm places up that needed sun light and she made every one that was sad happy, Jimi with his power helped move large things like dead trees or boulders that where too big to move and as for moon? He took up a nice job that was fit for him he is now in charge of everything dark, so if you see something out of the corner of your eye that's moon's shadow keeping an eye on things, as for me and David? We still travel around looking after dragon's and helping them but as far as camping we've decided to give that up!
