Chapter 6 - New York Amazons

Amanda entered her office and found a folder atop her desk. She picked it up and quickly turned through the pages. The document detailed "monstrous" women in New York City. How am I getting to New York? A gentle knock at her door. She turned around and found a deer-man.

"Greetings Amanda. May I enter?"

Amanda nodded.

"The name's Patrick. I'm your supervisor." He smiled. "I see you've found your first assignment."

"How am I getting to New York?"

"By train."

For the rest of the week Amanda prepped for her journey. Patrick gave her further instruction and the following Monday. Amanda boarded the train. She left Montana and arrived in New York three days later. She pulled out a metal cart and stacked three brown trunks on top. Amandaentered the city. People milled back and forth going about their day. Ford Model T cars nosily spedby. Billboards hung on some of the tallest buildings. Numerous bulbs lined its perimeter.

Amanda stared at the city scape. _Wow._She pulled outa map, tucked inside her knee-length dress. She searched for her hotel. She walked down the numerous sidewalks. Her gigantic endowments directed mobs of people around her. She drew several stares when she clopped past them. Amanda continued to peer around her. Skyscrapers towered around her.

She stopped at an intersection and waited to cross. People around her, dressed in all manner of suits and dresses. Some of the women wore knee-length skirts. Amanda got lost. Each point on her map directed her down an alley. One look is all what she needed to avoid them. Eventually she found her hotel.

Nothing special her hotel blended into the background. Shesqueezed herself insideand approached the desk.

"I'm here to check in."

A rabbit lady looked up. "Name?"

"Amanda."

"Last name?"

"Liam."

The rabbit lady got up and grabbed a heftybook. She quickly flipped through the pages. "Here youare." The rabbit lady sported a thick New Yorker accent. "Here's the key." She placed a weathered brass key atop her desk. "Your room is upstairs and toward the right."

"Thank you." Amanda grabbed her key and approached the elevator. The operator stood beside. She studied the elevator closely and frowned. I'm not going to fit. She sighed and examined the stairwell. I barely fit through there.

Amandaapproached the rabbit lady. "Do you have another way up?"

The rabbit lady eyed her up and down. "Sorry, we don't"

Amanda sighed and squeezed herself up the staircase. Her massive assets pressed into the walls. She walked down the hallway. _201, 202, 203._She stopped at a door labeled _210._She turned the lock and shoved herself inside. Two small beds, withplain white headboards laid against a wall. A lamp placed on top of a nightstand stood between them. Two mirrors placed atop oak cabinets occupied another wall.

A tall lamp stood between two cushioned chairs. White and adorned with roses the chairs blended into the walls. A plain candelabra, suspended from the ceiling held three bulbs. Two boring rugs, decorated the room with a large parallelogram.

Amanda peered at the beds. Designed for people with a lower class leviathan gene. She found them woefully undersized for her. Shebreathed and quickly removed the nightstand between them. Amanda shoved one bed next to the other and laid down. Her legs dangledoff the end piece. Her colossal assets hung far past the edge of the second bed. Dangerously close to the other end of the room.

She sighed, defeated. This is the best I'm going to get._The bed creaked loudly when she slid off the edge. On her right a door stood. She opened it and found a bathroom, complete with a tub. Pleasantly surprised she shoved herself inside and found her endowments occupied most of the space. She frowned, turned around, and entered backwards. Amanda peered at her bathtub. _That's way too small. I'll have to use the room. She shook her head.

Amanda exited the bathroom and began to unpack her trunks. The largest one held her rifle, pistols, and swords. In the corner, ammo, tucked into a hardened leather case. She laid her rifle against the wall followed by her blades. She suddenly stopped. How am I going to milk myself?_Amanda peered inside her bathroom again and found a milker. Attached to it, tubes woefully undersized for her. _I'll have to stop by a store.

Amanda resumed unpacking her things. In another trunkshe found several sets of gambeson Leotards. While they lacked any metal, she found silk woven into various parts. They covered her vital organs. She closed the trunk and set it aside. A few moments later Amanda settled in. She pulled out her map again and followed it to the nearest police station.

"Pardon, I'm an Indagator sent from the Canis Lupus guild."

The person inside the glass booth stared at her flabbergasted.

"Mister?"

The man shook his head. "Do you have the assignment?"

Amanda placed a folder atop a stone counter.

The man grabbed it through a cut-out in the glass. He flipped through the document. "One Minute." He stepped away.Moments later he reappeared. "Officer Craig will be with you shortly."

Amanda received her folder.

A normal-height German Shepard man exited a door. He stared at Amanda briefly and approached her. "I'mOfficer Craig." He shook her hand. "We sent for the Ursine Bellator guild and another one responded." He sighed. "You folks must be mighty rare."

"Not rare. Just in low supply." Amandaresponded.

"Come with me." Craig opened a door. "Assuming you can."He eyed Amanda's colossal assets.

She squeezed herself through the door and soaked her absorption pads.

"Glad we finally got an Indagator. This case hasn't been an easy one."

"What's happening?" Amanda asked.

Craig led her to an office. He searched through file cabinetsand pulled out a folder. He tossed it on a desk in the middle of the room. "Here."Craig pushed the document toward Amanda.

She picked it up and searched through it. Grainy, black and white photographs depicted officers and civilians brutally beaten.Covered in large bruises some of the bodies she found broken. In one photograph two halves of a person's body laid on the ground. A tear through the waist. Other images showed bodies covered in viscous white fluids. More images showed bodies tossed aside like rag-dolls. Amanda grimaced.

"It's ugly I know."

Amanda turned over another photograph and found pictures of giant, Amazonian women. Giant musculature strained their clothes. The women sported giant breastslike a set of oversized beach balls. At their crotch a massive cock bulge. Complete with another set of swollen beach balls, and a humongous camel toe. Amanda looked through the multitude of women.

"Why are some of the victims covered in a white fluid?" Amanda guessed semen.

"These women forced victims to-" Craig stopped, disgusted. "Pleasure them."

Amandascowled. She continued to study the photographs. "Their muscles are unnaturally swollen." Shepaid attention. "Never seen muscles that big on anybody." She paused. "Including those with the leviathan gene."

Craig nodded. "We thought the same."

Amanda found the giant women intimidating. "Did they kill your men?"

"Yep. And civilians."

Amanda shivered. A cold fear laid across her body like a blanket. She trembled. Am I going to fight that?

"Are you okay dame?"

Amanda's fear reached the surface. "Yes."She took a few long breathes.I can do this. Her fear subsided. She reclaimed her resolve. "Where's this happening?"

"Here."The officer pointed to a series of pins, on a large map draped across his wall.

"From Brooklyn to Manhattan?"Amanda raised a brow.

Craignodded. "Next to the East River."

Amanda continued to study the map. "Any trends?"

"Most of the incidents happen near drug factories."

"By incidents you mean run-ins with the giant women?"

"Yep."

"Have you tried to engage them?" Amanda asked.

"We have. Our bullets skip of their muscles like they were made of steel."

"What guns?" Amanda grew concerned.

"Tommies and Colts both."

"Have you tried any larger guns?"

"We used an old 1907 Springfield. It made a larger mark but failed to get anywhere."

"When did the incidents occur?"

"Mostly around daytime. They're rarely out at nights."

"Do you have any idea why?"

Craig shook his head. "Maybe because they know we can't hurt them?"

"Have you tried a blade?"

"One of my men did. It worked, but the lady poppedhis skull like a grape."

Amanda's fear trickled back. Cold sweat dripped down her fur.

"Are you scared newbie?"

Amanda turned her attention toward the officer.

"What's your badge?"

"Bronze A-class."

"Newbie all right." He sighed. "Why'd they make a dame an Indagator?"

Amanda tensed. She glared at the officer. A fire burned bright inside her.

"Whoathere. No need to be hostile. I got your point." Craig stepped back. He breathed. "With that kind of fire I don't think you'll get killed by them."

"What?"Amanda blinked.

"The kind of resolve I saw in your eyes. Tells me you'll be just fine." He gently smiled. "Good to see it. Got any more questions for me?"

"Do you know the reasons behind the incidents?"

Craig shook his head. "Haven't found one yet."

"Have you killed one of them?"

Craig laughed. "I just told you our bullets skipped off them."

"And the only person that managed to hurt them died." Amanda finished.

"Yep."

"Can I look at the bodies?"

"Which ones? The officers or the civilians?"

"Which are more common?"

Craig sighed, disappointed. "Civilians. I can take you to the Coroner's office."

Amanda followed the officer. They walked down the street.

"I'd drive you. But my car's too small."

Amanda smiled. "It's fine."

"Better be careful with these ladies." Craig looked at Amanda. "You're easily ten times bigger than them."

Amanda frowned. "Why does that matter?"

"Lot of my people tell me these women act like alpha's. Dominating each other and everyone around them. I don't know how they would react to someone larger than them."

"I'll keep that in mind." Amanda responded.

"Greetings, Seline." Craig addressed a dragon-woman behind a desk. "IsDoctor Dale in?Got an Indagator that wants to take a look at the bodies from the giant women case."

Seline looked up. "Can I get your badge?"

Craig nodded and placed his badge.

"I'll need the Indagator's badgeas well." Seline stood up. Tall, she wore an ankle-length dress. Her ample bust drew a considerable outline. She retrieved a weighty book.

Amanda placed down her badge.

Seline checked Craig's badge against her book. She then retrieved another large book and examined Amanda's badge. She turned to a mostly empty page and quickly wrote down her name and information.

"Doctor Dale is in today. I'll let him know you're here." Seline turned around. Amanda spotted large folded wings against her back. Shereappeared shortly with a male wolf-taur.

"Afternoon. I'm Doctor Dale." he shook Amanda and Craig's hand. "Follow me." He motioned to the duo. Dale lead them to a corner. He opened a metal door and pulled a tiger-man out. He carried the metal tray and set it on a table. Amanda studied the corpse. Beaten like a pulp. She found numerous bruises.

"Why does his chest look like a giant dent?"

Dale looked over. "This man had his entire rib cage crushed. The dent is due to its total collapse."

Amanda turned her head. "What killed him?"

"Following the collapse, hisinternal organs got reduced to mush."

Amanda continued to stare. "No stab wounds." She noted. "Or bullet holes. Most of it looks like blunt force. Where was he found?"

"Nearby Farmer's and Sole's drug factory." Craig stated.

Amanda pulled out hermap and marked it. "Got another one?"

"Certainly."Dale calmly answered. He slid the body back into a metal wall and closed the hatch. He pulled out another one.

"What happened to his head?" Amanda inquired.

"Turned into paste." Dale retrieved a photograph and showed her.

"Wait, I recognize this person." Amanda recalled her dream just before her graduation ceremony.

"Do you know him?" Craig asked.

Amanda looked at the deer-man. "No. Just had a dream with him."

"What were you doing?"

Amanda hesitated. "I was a wolf lady that drank a vial. I got transformed into one of the giant women we saw. And killed this man."

Craig looked at her alarmed. "That's disconcerting."

"It was just a dream." Amanda assured herself. "Can I see one of the officers bodies?"

Dale nodded and quickly swapped corpses.

"Where was the deer man found?" Amandaasked.

"In a hallway in an apartment." Craig answered.

Amanda studied the next corpse. Crusty white patches stained the parrot-man's beak and face.

"Are those...?"

"Yes."Craig interrupted her, upset.

"So, was the parrot-man violated after or before his death?"

"Before."Craig continued to look at the body. His muzzle contorted.

Amanda resumed her examination. "Did somebody break his arms?" She peered at the parrot-man's arms.

"And legs." Dale added. He pointed to a set of parrot legs, distorted.

"No stab wounds or bullet holes." Amanda stated. "Why'd they break his limbs?"

"We don't know." Craig solemnly responded.

Amanda nodded.

"He was a good man." Craig looked at the corpse.

"What's his name?" Amanda calmly asked.

"Officer Giles."

"Where was he found?"

"Nearby Farmer and Sole's. He was investigating."

Amanda examined a few more corpses. "No one had any bullet wounds or stab wounds. And all were found near drug factories. A large portion close to Farmer and Sole's." Shefirmly stated.

"Don't forget Perry's Drug Company."Craig added. "Lotof them found in that area."

Amanda agreed. "I'll make a stop at Farmer and Sole's. See what I can find."

"Good luck, Indagator." Craig finished.
