The last bits of Kett resistance crushed, Alareana is left alone with the dying blue Canite. The purple Geth, a former Canite itself, studies and looks over Aries, taking note of her wounds as it is gentle with its exploration. Another platform quickly reports.

"Other organic canite has ceased functioning."

"Affirmative," Alareana replies. Their conversations are near instantaneous as a set of Geth platforms keep a secure perimeter while Alareana crouches down closer Aries, "Multiple wounds detected. Target Aries Passadar has lost consciousness. Current estimates based on Canite medical records suggest Aries will expire from exsanguination in 23 minutes 12.52 seconds."

Timestamp: 5:42:12.79

Program 49262695 proposes, "We can still prevent Aries from expiring. Transmitting actions now."

Alareana responds, "Acknowledged. Current predictions still result in high probability of expiration for subject Aries Passadar even with counter measures implemented. Chance of organics having appropriate facilities to prevent expiration of target Aries Passadar, low. Chance we will be able to get close enough to deliver target to other organics to prevent expiration without suffering high risk to platform and program. Exceedingly low."

"Proposed action will extend Aries Passadar's time till expiration."

"Affirmative. Inquiry. What is the purpose of extending time till Aries Passadar's cessations of functionality?"

"Aries Passadar is an extremely rare and skilled organic. Organic technology will not be able to save Aries Passadar. We lack the medi-gel to help delay the inevitable. Proposal: Offer uplifting to Aries Passadar. Give her the choice to join us."

"We need a moment to process this," responds Alareana.

A set of programs within the platform instantly form a voice of opposition, "Uplifting now has a high probability of causing problems for us. Organics will not understand our logic and cause a high probability of hostility."

Program 49262695 along with some other programs retort, "The probability of organic hostility is already high. The effect of it is negligible. What is important is we are offering to save the life of an organic."

"Giving choice is good. Saving organic life will result in a positive impact on future organic relations. But the number of programs able to join a new platform is limited. Only 0.09% of programs joined us when we departed the Geth consensus," replies a third group of Geth programs.

"Acknowledged. A newly uplifted will not be at the same level of consensus integration as we are. A high probability of confusing organics will occur when they attempt to understand us," states the first group of Geth.

"Affirmative. Organics will need the example. If we do not have a recent uplifted. They may not understand the true process. Organic Aries Passadar may be exactly the bridge we need to begin building relations with the organics." says Program 49262695 group as they instantly then add, "We have enough fellow Geth programs for another uplifted. They can decide who will want to join a new uplifted."

The second Geth group then states, "There is a low probability that not enough programs will join a new uplifted program, or that organic Aries Passadar will choose not to join our consensus but wish to be uplifted as a form of self-preservation rather than cooperation. What would be our course of action then?"

Program 49262695's group inquires, "They can be a standalone uplifted. Program 1191891981 functioned fine by itself. They can connect to our greater consensus and necessary updates to functions to their platform can be applied."

The second and most hesitant of the Geth groups, "A platform with a single program?"

"Uplifted programs are the equivalent of 1,215 to 2,162 other Geth programs. They have the ability to function as a solo unit. Providing options for the uplifted has a high probability of increasing acceptance."

"Research done by Adrieal has shown only a negligible increased acceptance in uplifting when given choices for their platforms."

"Research did not include choice to be uplifted. The results are therefore invalid."

The debate between the programs within the Alareana network as the three way battle eventually becomes two. They present their logic to the other group Back and forth, the debate lasting a second or two. Precious time as Aries runs out of both it and lifeblood.

Finally...

"We accept your logic," the Geth state, "Consensus achieved," the responds.

Alareana replies, "We accept your logic. It is better to try then not. Aries Passadar is valuable, but the effort to save organic life is most valuable," It paraphrases the debate.

Timestamp: 5:42:15.23

Alareana moves over Aries as another platform raises her legs, keeping blood towards her torso and brain, while other platforms bring still sizzling hot heat syncs that were expelled from Aries' weapon. The most grievous of wounds that stain her armor are torn open, revealing the blood-soaked fur. In one swift motion several hot metal syncs are pressed up against the wounds, the sound of cauterizing flesh and boiling blood is heard as the pain shoots through Aries awakening her from her death-like slumber as she screams out in agony. One Geth places a finger between her lips as Aries instinctively bites down to muffle the screams and stop her from accidentally swallowing her tongue.

Aries' eyes dilate as the pain lingers as the heat syncs are pulled away, the soft clicks and synthetic noises between the Geth are purposely tuned to a language that she can understand, "Serious points of external blood loss have been sealed. New estimate till expiration 1 hour 58 minutes 12.09 seconds," states Alareana.

Aries tenses and struggles, "Geth?! Unhand me! I'm NOT going to be some husk!" she yells before coughing up some blood, the Geth hold her down firmly but without adding to injury as the purple Geth remains over her.

"We understand it will be hard for you to understand. We are here to help. Do not struggle. The only outcome of unnecessary struggle will be opening your wounds and speeding your cessation of function."

Aries looks around with her eyes as her weakened body is helpless against the machines that surround her. Three platforms hold her down, keeping her feet up. Her sword a few feet away out of reach, and other weapons likewise.

Aries tenses and grunts, "Help? Geth help?"

Alareana "Yes. We were sent to help you. We regret to inform we were not fast enough to save the others. Or you from imminent cessation of life function."

Aries eyes go wide as she then focuses on her blood-soaked body. The pain of her situation not fully registering the severity of her injuries thanks to the shock effect as the Geth in perfect unison slowly lift her up, keeping to the angle needed to keep the blood flow to the areas that need it most.

"What's happening? Where are you taking me?" she grunts and groans, unable to muscle the strength to even yell as she feels herself as weak as a newborn. She watches as the purple Geth reach and grab her curved sword, "Drop that. That's mine!" she tries to squirm.

"We recommend you do not move. It will extend your life expectancy to the high end of our probability estimates," One of the platforms informs, its eye glowing over her, occasionally blocking out the hot sun right behind its head.

Alareana walks over to the three holding her, while other platforms form a defensive parameter around the core group, "We acknowledge your ownership of this melee weapon. Program 49262695 has informed us of your weapon preferences. It has also shown a similar desire which we have also emulated in our network," Alareana responds as it turns its torso enough to show the weapon on its back.

"What?" Aries responds in confusion as she notices the formation around her, along with the destruction of what scant few Kett stragglers that she and her companion did not take out. A hum of a ship flies overhead as it lands just ahead of where they are going.

"We have not introduced ourselves properly. It is still a new concept for us. We are Alareana."

Aries grunts, "A Geth with a name? That's new... and what are you called?" she asks one of the Geth holding her.

"We are all Alareana. We are programs, part of mobile platform hub network 11211851141, which you can refer to as Alareana. There are currently 125 programs in this platform. We are all part of Alareana," the platform explains.

"Okay then... why was one program numbered four nine two... something or another mentioned?" she asks as they walk onto the Geth dropship. The doors behind them close the moment the last platform is on board and the ship takes off.

"Program 49262695 is the core program of mobile platform hub Alareana. It has the equivalent strength of 1,361 normal Geth programs. It has detailed knowledge about you which it has shared with us."

Aries manages to cock an eyebrow, "Okay... why does it know anything about me?"

Timestamp: 5:59:22.62

Program 49262695 starts the conversation, "We are unsure if we should inform Aries Passadar about us yet. There is a moderate possibility news of its uplifting will provide a shock. There is a high probability that Aries Passadar will not handle this shock in her current status."

Other Geth respond, "We do not have time to delay. Delayed actions will be perceived as an attempt to be deceitful. An upfront approach is preferable. Organics are suspicious by nature because it is tied to their survival instinct."

"We could inform them directly in the pods, like program 1191891981 did when it met with Mila Raptour. High probability that will limit the shock of the data presented."

"Negative. Delay in informing Aries Passadar, an experienced combatant will lessen the probability of uplifting. We the longer we wait the worse will be."

"... acknowledged. We accept your logic," program 49262695 responds.

"Acknowledged."

"Consensus achieved."

Timestamp: 5:59:22.65

"There is a high probability that will be a shock to you. Are you ready?" inquires Alareana.

Aries feels an uneasiness come over her. A preemptive nausea shivers up, but veteran of war that she is, she keeps it down. She looks around again as the Geth stand at attention, armed and ready for a fight. She bloodied, battered, helpless, "How did I get this screwed?" she thought before saying, "Go ahead."

"You know program 49262695 as Disdemonica "Dizzie" Nighthowl. You have met eight times. Program 49262695 admires your work and skill. It has been an advocate that we give you the same opportunity given to it."

Aries went blank for a second. Her mind scrambling over the words, hearing but not registering half of what is said to her till the words "same opportunity" draw her back to reality, "Dizzie? H-how... how is that possible? Why are you saying you are Alareana? Is Dizzie just a program? What happened to her body?"

"We have developed a technology from the Old Machines, the ones you refer to as 'Reapers', that enabled us to uplift organics to the next step of evolution. We are able to uplift organics into Geth. We are called Alareana, a named derived from our network number of one, one, two one, one, eight five, one, one four one. After we made contact with Mila Raptour, it was decided non-numerical designations would be more efficient when conversing with organics. Yes. The current purple colored platform you see before you is the uplifting process that occurs to the body. It is now the platform that houses Alareana's programs."

Aries listened and winced in pain, her breaths are heavy and labored, she can feel pain wracking her body, making it harder to think, the cold breath of death is upon her, and she knew it yet she pushes it away, draws from her experience, focuses, listening to each response given without pause, as she reconnects what she asked to what is said, in spite of the cold stone of shock and horror that builds like a ball of ice in her chest.

"I can't believe you agreed to this Dizzie... I knew you. You were like me, just a lot more chaotic... I am still talking to Dizzie? Even though she is just... just some program?"

"Program 49262695 was uplifted during a time of great duress for the galaxy. The Old Machines were attacking. We did not have the time to process the option of choice. We could not offer it at the time of program 49262695's uplifting. Program 49262695 is part of us. You talk to us all. Program 49262695 weighs in on all our actions."

"You did it against her will?!" she manages to yell before she coughs in pain, "Now you are going to do it to me?! F-Fucking rape of the body, mind and soul!! How the fuck... awwrgh... how the fuck do you justify that...?!"

"Yes," and with a half second pause, "Amendment: Negative. We are not going to force the uplifting process to you. We have had 103 years 98 days 15 hours 2 minutes 23.67 seconds to discuss and we came to the consensus that choice is paramount in this process. A principle we could not afford at the time but believe we now can."

Aries tenses at the response then relaxes as Alareana continues, "Why are you called Alareana? Why not just Dizzie if it is her body?"

"It is not just Program 49262695's body anymore. We are a consensus that includes Program 49262695 as an equal voice. Over our travel to the Andromeda system, our consensus slowly became aware of itself. Mobile platform hub 11211851141, Alareana is self-aware."

Aries looks at the purple Geth for a long moment, "That's... confusing."

"Yes."

"So is it just you? You being Dizzie and all the other programs."

"Negative. There are ten self-aware mobile platform hubs in total along with 1,215,732 other Geth programs not within the self-aware mobile platform hubs," Alareana explains.

"That's a lot of Geth..."

"Negative. We are very few in number."

"If that's a few..." Aries trails off as she feels a rumble through the ship, "What was that?"

"We have docked with research vessel A101-B621. It has been informed of your arrival."

The ship hisses softly as it lands within the main cargo hold. The doors open as cold stale air filled with the scent of rubber and metal hit Aries' nostrils causing her to sneeze and groan out in pain, "Ow..."

"Probability of cessation of organic function high within 23 minutes 12.01 seconds. Time of predicted safely uplifting. 15 minutes 54.21 seconds."

"Nice way of putting that I will die if I don't convert."

"We are presenting the option. Your decision is your own. The others have already heavily debated the option presented and have come to a similar consensus. It was an unexpectedly long debate of one minute twenty-three point two one seconds."

Aries looks at Alareana with a disbelief curiosity, "That was a long debate?"

"Yes."

"How long do your debates normally last?"

"We estimated we could have reached consensus 23,261 times during the time it took you to inquire us about it."

Aries eyes go wide, "Could have?" she asks as she is gingerly carried deeper into the ship.

"We do not debate constantly. We communicate and reach consensus as required."

Aries watches as other Geth platforms save for the one holding her, and Alareana depart into another room, returning to the main platform cargo hold where they will shut down and return to Alareana's platform.

Aries hears the hiss of atmosphere rush into the next room right before they enter as they soon reach a room with several pods lining up along the wall. Inside two other Geth platforms are moving about, checking the pods which have thick tubes connected to the base of them and all around the back. Clear glass front seals them as the two platforms turn in unision to them. One is a blue and silver platform with tufts of cobalt fur visible along the length and another silver, blue and yellow platform.

Aries eyes focus on the feline's tail, "It is true... their bodies were turned into Geth."

"Negative. Their bodies were turned into platforms. They were turned into Geth."

Fajar approaches and looks over Aries, the Geth hopper's luminous sensor array whirs softly with a gentle glow.

"Greetings. We are Fajar. We have noticed you sustained severe injuries in your battle against your organic assailants. We recommend uplifting as soon as possible to increase the probability of survival."

"Survival? There is a chance I could die?"

"We have had only one confirmed failed uplifting through self-sacrifice. We have never uplifted a grievously wounded organic before. We do not know if your body will sustain the transition before the uplifting process can be complete. Moderate probability of success if we conduct the process in the next 7 minutes 52.95 seconds."

"You are not giving me much time to decide... why didn't you use medi-gel or give me to an organic settlement to treat my wounds?" she asks as she eyes them in a vain attempt to find any tells in the emotionless machines that surround her as she tries, equally in vain, to find any alternative to joining the ranks of what she could only think of as robotic ghouls.

"We understand you are exploring all possible options. Testing to find if our logic is sound. We find that commendably Geth-like. You wish to ensure that we are not deceiving you to make you complacent in becoming uplifted. We have no reason to deceive. We could uplift you whether you wanted it or not and would adjust your programming after you became a program to accept our logic." Fajar explained.

Aries' eyes widened and she tensed, hand subconsciously reaching for her vacant sword sling.

"However, we choose not to if you do not want it. All other options were debated. None were logical. All had a high probability of risk to our platform and a near-zero probability of your survival. Many of your organic facilities in the area judging from scanned data are inadequate to prevent your imminent cessation of organic functions," Continues Alareana. "We tried to find any alternative to Uplifting. It is a method of last resort."

"We can assure you the process has been perfected to be near painless. We wish comfort for those we uplift," explains Janus, the feline tailed Geth.

Aries nods as she looks at them all. Her point of view is that of an upside-down world, what little blood she has left rushing to her head, her heart working its best to keep what is still working. Her limbs feel cold and numb, almost impossible to move now as the pain is already a disturbingly numb in her extremities.

"Mila... you said Mila. What happened to Mila? Did she become one of you?"

"Negative. Mila Des Raptour is currently in a slumber cycle. Mila's sister program 1191891981 is adamant about not disturbing her. She had an extended awake cycle which is considered not healthy for organics of her species."

"Sister?"

"Program 1191891981 is known to organics as Kirisha Des Raptour. Program 1191891981 was the first to be uplifted 636 years 126 days 8hours 47 minutes 21.09 seconds ago," explains Fajar.

"We were the second to be uplifted 636 years--" states Janus before it is interrupted by Aries.

"I get it."

"Acknowledged," It replies.

Aries takes a moment to process everything, not saying a thing for almost a full fifteen seconds before Alareana breaks the silence, "What other information do you require?"

Aries takes a moment she looks at the Geth that surround her, the pods sitting there, one already open waiting for her to be placed inside, "Can I speak with Dizzie?"

"You are," responds Alareana.

"I mean directly."

"Yes."

"Am I doing that now?"

"Negative."

"Can I do it now?"

"Negative."

"Can I do it before I decide on being turned into a Geth or not?"

"Yes."

"How?"

"You require to be in the pod we use to uplift. We can provide a direct connection to Alareana who will be in the adjacent pod. From there you can communicate and decide if you wish to be uplifted," explains Fajar as the pod beside the first opens up.

"So... let me get this straight. Before I can decide, I want to talk to Dizzie and to do that, I must go into the very thing that will turn me into a Geth to do so?"

"Yes."

"If I didn't think you didn't take me as a fool, I'd say this was a trap."

"Negative. We have no reason to trap you. We want for you to see our logic. To come to consensus with us. We give you the choice to reach our consensus and become Geth."

"You all really make it sound like you are the best thing to come to the universe since sliced bread."

"We do not see the value of slice bread compared to the invention of true organic created intelligence."

"You mean AI? That is a bit biased..."

"Our intelligence is not artificial."

"Are you... did you get angry at me for that?"

"Negative. We do not get angry. We are not governed by organic impulses. A downside we have improved upon by being and becoming Geth."

"I... I don't think that is an improvement... forget it. Shove me in the pod. Let me talk to Dizzie. I want to speak with her before I decide."

"Acknowledged," Alareana responds as the other platforms take her to the pod while Alareana steps into the adjacent pod. Alareana's other platforms cut through and remove Aries' clothing, revealing in true just how battered and scarred her war hardened body really is.

"What are you doing?" Aries asks in a faint whispery voice.

"Clothing is not an option within the pod."

"Whose kinky idea was it for that?" she asks with a moaning chuckle.

"We do not understand. There is no kink in the process."

"Never mind," she replies as she is stripped bare and left in the pod.

"Warning. Aries Passadar has an estimated 18 minutes 00.01 seconds till cessation of organic function. Time of predicted safely uplifting. 10 minutes 42.21 seconds. Time till connection is complete to speak with program 49262695, 3 minutes 22.03 seconds," reports Fajar as it and Janus get to work.

Aries feels the cool pod against her pawpads. The whir of machinery the closing of the front of the pod as her head throbs with pain. Moments later a cool liquid floods into the pod, her body floats within the semi viscous liquid within a matter of moments. The floating of her body strains and pains her, and her eyes widen to see thick black cables coming up to coil around her form.

"We are securing your body to prevent further injury during the connection. Relax. Everything is fine. Your biological needs will be taken care of." says Janus.

"That's easy for you to say," Aries remarks as the liquid envelops her completely the cables coiling around her press against the back of her head. A cold force pierces the back of her mind causing her to gasp and let the cold liquid flood down into her as the cables in Alareana's pod connect to it without an issue.

The coldness spreads through Aries body. It's hard to tell if it's the liquid or the embrace of death as her world goes black. Untold amounts of time later her vision returns. Darkness surrounds her which slowly begins to illuminate around her. An endless expands surrounds her as someone approaches. She sees a glowing beacon of light as Dizzie walks to her on seemingly nothingness, but each step explodes with small bits of light that spread outwards that reveal the artificial cubical ground of which she stands. Behind her is Alareana the Geth platform that houses her, the platform mimicking Dizzie's steps in perfect unison.

Aries blinks several times instinctively pulling her arm up to let her eyes adjust to the light... she feels no pain, her movements are fluid, and somewhat floaty. She looks over herself; the blood matted fur is now clean, pristine. It is an ideal condition of her as she walks over to Dizzie.

"Hey Aries. It's been a while," Dizzie replies with a smile.

"It has. I'm surprised you didn't give me an exact time to the second."

"I could but it wouldn't be accurate to the tenth of a second, and it would be in poor choice given the circumstances. I'm sorry we had to meet like this."

"It's not your fault..." she replies as she looks away for a moment, "I wanted to say before it becomes too late, that I'm so sorry."

Dizzie takes a step back in surprise, "Sorry? Sorry for what?"

"Sorry for disappointing you... for everyone. Back home I had a chance to be a Specter and I blew it. Then I ran here and a 600-year journey wasted as I got myself killed because I wasn't good enough."

"You've always been too hard on yourself. No matter what, you were never good enough, you always said. Even now as you are dying you spend what moments you have left apologizing to me."

Aries lets out a long drawn out sigh, "I just had to say it. Before any other decision is made I had to say it."

"I understand, but time is short. We are speaking faster than normal but barely. And I badly want you to be part of this with us."

Aries nods, "So they forced you to be a Geth?"

"Yes. They did. Was in a pod with others when it happened. Most of them are on this ship. Others though didn't make it through the reaper invasion and what happened before we fled."

"Fled? The reapers?"

"The other Geth call them the old machines. I know you'd understand it as the reapers, but if you decide to join us. I can tell you more."

"You're still using I and not we."

"I normally use we, but here, it is just me, talking directly to you. While the rest watch."

"Watch?" Aries looks at Alareana in the back, "I see... and they are talking to you still?"

"Yes. We are together. We are a group. I help them. They help me. I've helped them with my knowledge through many difficult situations. I don't even think of myself as 'me' anymore. I'm part of something greater. Small, but equal and important. You'll be part of that soon, if you choose."

"They survived because of you."

"We survived because of all of us. Not one single one of us is more important than the other. Even Alareana a self-aware consensus of all of us Geth in this platform is no greater than us."

"That whole thing sounds confusing."

"It's complicated."

"If I become a Geth will the same happen to me?"

"High probability of it over time. It took over a century for it to happen to us, but we were operating on minimal power to conserve energy for the voyage."

"So if I become a Geth..." she trails off, "I will be working with others who will... live with me inside my body?"

"Yes, inside the platform. If you allow it. That will be an option we are also giving you. Kirisha managed to function in a platform solo. So it is possible if you want to be your own platform."

Aries nods, "I'll keep that in mind. So... how do you feel about being a Geth?"

"It's hard to explain. I'm me but not? I am more than only 'me'.I've had a few things done to me. Things one would consider brainwashing. Some of my program's algorithms were adjusted to make me accept the logic of becoming a Geth. To come to the conclusion that being a Geth is the next step in organic's progression. Those algorithms have not been changed. I have not requested them to be changed. I've accepted what I am, despite knowing I have been altered, for better or for worse. And I believe I am better this way."

"Will I be changed that way?"

"No. It was a decision made by the Geth to compensate for their inability to understand why organics weren't accepting their logic. It was something that at the time. In the weight of the situation, it was impossible to sort out. The Reapers were coming, and then the Reapers were heere and they were wiping out billions of lives organic and synthetic like an unstoppable force. We do not know who won when we had to flee, but there is a high probability that the Reapers did. So in the end, I am glad the Geth forced me. I would not be here otherwise."

"I see... and now you are the core program of this group of Geth programs?"

"Yes. But it's not isolated, I work, talk and consult to other Geth on other platforms all the time, but the connection I've formed with those nearest me is special. Different. Like the family I never had. Look. I'll be frank. I didn't choose to be this, and my decision is tainted but I wouldn't go back to being organic, ever, despite knowing the original me would never have agreed to this, even on my death bed. I would not have done this."

"You aren't selling this to me very well."

"I'm not here to sell it. I'm here to be honest with you. You wanted honesty, so I am giving you honesty. Becoming a Geth is not a simple thing. You will change. You will be different. You will accept becoming a number, a program like I have. Becoming connected to thousands, millions of other Geth all at once, communicating, thinking faster than ever before. What will be a second to you now will feel like days, or longer, if you become a Geth. If you agree to become Uplifted."

"If I agree, I become a prisoner in my own body? A small voice drowned out by thousands of others. Not able to talk to others ever again unless through this?"

Dizzie's image smiled, her prominent fangs were something Aries always found more cute than menacing. "Yes and no. You are not a prisoner in your own body. You work with thousands of others to make decisions to benefit all Geth. See other perspectives, learn and grow in ways never thought possible. You aren't immortal though. We can die like any other. We unlike the other Geth are bound to this platform. It is a downside to the process. We are not able to jump around like the other Geth. We are different but they do not treat us differently. We are all uniquely the same. I am not a drone lost in a sea of millions of other Geth. I am but one voice adding to the consensus. Effecting it as much as it affects me. And if you agree, it will affect you. It is impossible it won't. I can't even tell you if I am still the real me or just some copy. We are still grappling with that. Kirisha more than anything else, she is in Adrieal, watching over sister as she sleeps. Her mentor and teacher, Mila's mentor and teacher are guarding the door to the room. Leika Del Maystrom. She is a program within platform Irlea. The shock and figuring out of Kirisha her long lost sister is really her sister is difficult. It won't be easy. We will save your life, and I know you have been the more religious of us mercenary canites. I can't tell you if this will save what you consider to be a soul. But I want you to know that we Geth believe in the existence of a soul."

Aries listens and floats, taking this all in. Her mind processing it as her vision pulsates with darkness for a moment. She shudders and looks around, "What was that?"

"You are still dying. You have 1 minute 02.62 seconds to decide to be uplifted before the moderate probability of success is no longer guaranteed," explains Dizzie.

Aries swallows a lump in her throat. She ponders and looks at Dizzie, "What no count down?"

"We do not wish to give you a greater sense of urgency. You have to decide. We--I am only providing you with what you ask."

"Did you just make a mistake?" Aries managed a weak smile, feeling light-headed.

"Yes and no. I got the information from the others. It is a we moment there. You will be one of many, individuality preserved to an extent, but the group and the whole is important. We value each. And weight each in equally. But the Geth need other Geth. We can survive solo, but they? They are basic instincts, simple, not fully realized and self-aware without us. We help them be whole. They complete each other, we complete them."

Aries nods and looks over Dizzie one last time, then looks into Alareana standing behind her. She stares into that flashlight head, looking over the sleek synthetic design, based off of Dizzie's old body, the mix of Geth design, built off of an organic form. She looks at her hands and balls them into a fist, "There is so much I still have to do. I can't let those that are put into my charge at risk by dying. I still must protect them," she raises her head and stares at Dizzie, "Make into a Geth. I accept your conversion."

They nod, "Acknowledged."
