Platforms 141895112 and 101142119 stood before the geth prime for several moments as the data they transferred was being disseminated and processed by the larger geth consensus, "Alert, data indicates that platform 141895112's repairs have not been fully completed. Please run second diagnostic to confirm information," states the geth prime.

141895112 looks up at the prime as it responds, "Acknowledged, running diagnostic..." Thousands of geth programs help the primary geth platform program 1191891981 run a check over its systems, within seconds the diagnostic was complete. "Affirmative. Stress fractures are still detected in optics. Further analysis based on combat data has indicated the tertiary appendage has high probability of snagging. Suggesting improvements to protect connection point of tertiary appendage to main core, streamlining and improving energy efficiency and increased combat capabilities. Suggestion to increase network connectivity also attached."

"Acknowledged, now reviewing suggested improvements to be coupled with direct repairs with platform 141895112...processing... suggestions accepted. Proceed to repair bay 2. Estimated time of repairs and application of improvements, four hours twenty-six minutes and twelve seconds."

"Acknowledged," responded platform 141895112 as it departed.

"Inquiry. We believe platform 101142119 will require similar diagnostic check for system improvements," asks platform 101142119 as it looks up at the geth prime, its tail idly swishing behind it as it waits.

"Acknowledged, processing request... Diagnostic may proceed."

"Affirmative," responded 101142119 as thousands of geth helped primary geth platform program 1261859208 help run its own diagnostics, "Diagnostic check complete, uploading data."

"Acknowledged. Processing data. No flaws detected in current design. Insufficient data to provide any suggested improvements," the geth prime responded.

"Affirmative. We have come to the same conclusion. We do not know what affects the vestiges of the processed organic platform will have. Further data is required."

"Acknowledged," responded the geth prime.

Meanwhile platform 141895112 heads down a series of corridors towards its set destination. An internal map provides real time up to date information of its current location and time to arrival.

"Are adjustments to our platform necessary?" inquires program 1191891981 during this moment of travel, while working with the other programs to get the platform to said destination.

"What problem is there 1191891981? Wasn't our response logical to the current flaws in the design? Platform 141895112 is a prototype and improvements are necessary," state other geth programs.

"True, but this platform came from my organic self. It has housed who I am. I feel an attachment to it."

"Interesting. Organic attachment and valuing an object that has little value to other organics, known as sentiment value persists."

"Is this a problem?" 1191891981 inquires.

"Negative. We find this sensation curious. We want to inquire more. Do you accept our inquiry?"

"Inquiry accepted."

"Acknowledged, but before data transfer 1191891981, you must understand. You and 1261859208 are the only geth programs unable to transfer to other platforms. Continuous improvement of platform 141895112 is necessary to increase probability of long term function. Every geth program is important. We may able to leave but we do not want to abandon you."

"Acknowledged," 1191891981 responded as consensus within platform 141895112 was achieved. Soon platform reached its target destination. Other geth platforms monitored systems as they did not need to even acknowledge the platform's arrival as they already knew. 141895112 walked up a cylindrical platform and turned around looking at two black and silver geth platform technicians. Their blue light optics whirred as they tapped on their nearby consoles.

"Initializing repairs and upgrades of platform 141895112," stated one of the geth technicians.

"Acknowledged," responded 141895112 as it stood there as sections of her metallic body were cut away at select points. Shoulder pads were pealed, off. The metallic tubing and connection points were steadily cut away. Chest armor was pealed back exposing a second layer of protective armor, which protected the extra energy cores and processing power for the unit.

141895112 suddenly cut out as the automated machines cut and removed its trademark flashlight optic as sections of its protective head covering were also removed. Wrists, hands, were focused on as parts of metal and tubing that were deemed no longer needed were removed either completely or replaced with new more efficient designs.

Armor plates along the top of the tail near the base to provide further protected. New optics were moved into place to replace the damage in the old and enhance its optical sensory data. Reinforced head armor to further protect the optics from future damage, and add extra armor to the sensitive data cores inside. New power and data tubing were laid in to provide quicker spread of information within the platform, to the improved antenna in the back, to increase upload and download rates.

Program 1191891881 'watched' as these upgrades took place. Watched with hundreds of thousands of other geth programs as the process was done fairly quickly by organic standards, but to the geth it was a slow and delicate process. Geth programs could be uploaded off of the platform, but it would lessen the platform's processing power to catch any unforeseen and unwanted changes in the platform's capabilities.

1191891881 watched as they took extreme care. It admired that it did not take the platform as just a hunk of metal but as their home. The item that allows them to see the world and to interact with it. Platforms can be rebuilt, programs can be made again, but it was never an option any geth wanted to choose. They valued each other, they valued 1191891881. It's existence as a geth was short, but they did not treat it any differently than any other. They worked as a group and it was part of them and they part of it.

Further improvements on the platform continued. Enhancing melee combat capabilities, increasing attack values of tertiary appendage, as further enhancements were made, armor plates put back into place, each custom made to fit platform 141895112. What could be best described as a surge of power, great efficiency ran through platform 141895112. Metal plating and claws were attached to its fingertips. Slowly, steadily its new improved platform is revealed, still matching much of its own raptoric-geth design.

As the upgrades were being made, the greater geth consensus processed the data given to them by their newest programs and they've come to one concise consensus. Attack the organic base. If possible capture and process any and all organics within, but if risk to platform and program is too great, destroy on sight.
