Prologue

The scene opens up with a young rottweiler sitting on the edge of the bed, dressed in a simple t-shirt, with jean shorts on him, with a device on his lap. The Sun rays drifted into the room as his paw fingers tapped away on the device.

Fade to black. . .

Darkness, emptiness, voidness. . . Was all I could see, feel, hear. . . Pressure, friction, Warmth, coldness. . .

These were my everyday friends, my curse, my home. . . My Life, My prison, My loneliness. .

You are probably wondering what the hell I was talking about. You wouldn't be the only one. . As far as I can remember it has always been this way. . For many years, I was only responding to what my called body wanted me to do, the various pushes, prodding, patting I would get. . These were foreign concepts, words to me in the beginning.

Another scene showing a very puppy like rottweiler being fed by a older black Labrador. Another scene shows the Lab giving the pup a scrub down in the shower, the pup standing there his gaze distance as if he was staring into nothingness.

Fade back to black. . .

Every so often I would get a feeling of a thing that would grab a part of me, do something over, and over, place my what I later learn paw fingers onto objects, moving the object, while tracing odd symbols on the back of my paw.

A scene showing the much older Rottweiler being shown objects, the golden retriever guides the paw fingers onto the object. Then slowly tracing symbols in the palm pads of the rottweiler. A later scene shows the rottweiler finger signing the various lettering in signs that he was taught. The golden retriever smiling as he waited for the young pup to finish, before the rottweiler pup place his paw pads onto the goldens paws as he followed what the golden was signing back to him.

Fade to black. . .

Understanding, Experiencing, Reality. As I grew older, and learn how to read, write, as well as communicate using braille, as well with my paws when somebody was around, that knew sign language. The world slowly open up that much more. Though my emptiness, was still there. I completed my education, and pass the high school exam. I was now facing reality. As I was place in a apartment. With no more help from the state as far as one on one training. As I was now a adult.

The scene shows a grown up anthros rottweiler reading a thick braille book on the counter, with a bowl of ingredients being mixed under the mixer. Another scene in the living room, shows him doing work outs on a bench with free ranging weights.

Fade to Black. . .

I lived like this for a few weeks. Having my groceries delivered, living my days, pondering on what I should do next. I had a idea on what I wanted. But, could I accomplish it.

"Your destination is on the right. Navigation has ended." A female voice spoke from the device speaker on the dash. My eyes searched for a parking spot in this apartment complex. I was able to find one, as I parked my model S into it. Putting it in park as I unbuckled and press the door release button causing the door to pop open. I stood up out of the car, closing the door, as I read the numbering that was posted on the breezeways of the apartment looking for a particular number. Finding it, I started walking to my target.

A scene showing a tall white fur king Shepard, with a slighted muddy amber eyes walking up to a door in a breezeway with a number 691 on the door.

I reached into my panty pack, withdrawing a phone. My fingers tapped around bringing up a contact in my messages app. (Jake R) I tapped a message to the contact. (From Tony; Hey Jake. I am at your door. I sent the message. Not more than two minutes later, the sound of the door being unlocked could be heard as it open revealing Jake a buff up young rottweiler. I reach out a paw to tap onto one of his outstretched paw, which he place both open palms over mine, as I quickly sign to him. "Are you ready to go out for a bit?" I signed to him. He quickly responded back signing. "Yes, let me get my wallet and notetaker, come in?" he asked as he started turning around to go get his wallet.

I stepped in shutting the door, as he went into his bed room to get his stuff. I could see the workout equipment in his living room. As well as some left over pizza boxes. While he was getting his stuff, I figured I would grab the empty boxes and place them into the garbage for him. Of course I would let him know I did so, as I can only guess it would have thrown him for a loop looking for something that wasn't there any more.

I noticed that he was coming back into the living room. I stepped up to him, lightly tapped his arm. Jake smiled, as he signed "I am ready Tony. Can we stop to get a bit at a burger place?" he lower his paws palm outwards, waiting for me to sign into his paws. I reached out and signed back to him. "Yes, no problem. Follow me. I put your empty pizza boxes in trash can. You have door key?" He quickly sign thank you, and yes before grasping my right elbow as we walked out his apartment.

A scene showing Tony and Jake in a model S driving into the distance flashes pass.
