Chapter Eleven

"Bear In A Big Human House"

By

Furry Sith Lord

Bear walked through Salam City Casually as the humans stared at him. He showed his teeth when one tried to approach him warning that he was ready to strike if they tried anything. This quickly ended their curiosity as they left him to go about his business.

"Excuse me friend," He heard and turned to see a fully dressed Bull addressing him. He had a young rabbit wearing only his fur next to him. Bear examined them closely then knelt as he spoke to the rabbit. The little guy went and peeked out from behind the leg of Maxx.

"Hello Dash, or should I say Petey." Bear said and Dash stuck his tongue out at him. "You must be Maxx the storyteller."

"I'm afraid I'm at a disadvantage." Maxx replied and he used his hoof to hold Dash close to him.

"My name is Bear. Leader of the former White Community. Say Dash, your pal Tyger remembers me, doesn't he?"

"Ah Fuck!" Dash heard Tyger exclaim through his earpiece.

"When he hears me let him know we have some unfinished business after all this." Bear said and he chuckled.

"Ahh Fuck." Tyger exclaimed again and this time Dash chuckled noiselessly.

"Bear? you said," Maxx replied. "Who is this Tyger you're talking about?"

"Ah old friend. His brother had a rabbit as a best friend. Every time I see a rabbit I think of them. Anyway, I'm really here to see BH, is he around?" Bear heard gasps from the humans but he ignored them.

"The Reverend Lord is a very busy wolf. I can announce you, but no telling IF he will be able to fit you into his schedule." Maxx explained. He wrote a note on a piece of paper and gave it to Dash to deliver. Dash quickly hopped off to deliver it.

BH sat in his office checking the remaining supplies they had and where he could send the humans to steal more for them. He shouted as a young rabbit knocked at his door and held out a note in his paw.

What?!" Can't you see I'm busy?" He screamed, making the young boy flinch but he tried to remain still as he held out the note. BH stomped over and grabbed the note reading it outloud.

"Excuse the disturbance Revend Lord but a white polar bear who goes by the name Bear is here to see you, Maxx." Bh read and ran out of the office as fast as he could, knocking Dash over in the process.

"Good sneak around and see what you can find while he's gone." Tyger instructed and Dash got up to search the office.

BH ran as fast as he could and he fell at Bear's feet while everyone watched him. Bear raised an eyebrow as he watched his former subordinate.

"Oh Gawd, Great Lord of All," Bh shouted and the humans looked around in fear and immediately fell to their knees in worship.

"Rise my son. It's good to see you faithfully doing my work." Bear announced to the humans and he pulled BH up by the scruff of his neck. "We need to talk." He whispered and he released BH.

"Yes Great Lord of All. Come with me." BH replied and led the way to where he was staying. They traveled in silence as word spread that Bear was Gawd and all the humans that saw him fell to their knees. The Pets soon saw how the humans behaved and they copied hoping to avoid the wrath of the humans for not doing the same.

Maxx followed at a distance but was watching Bear very closely as if he suspected something. He guessed BH must have told the bull about him and was wondering why he had suddenly appeared.

They entered the private residence of BH and once Bear closed the door to keep all the humans away he turned swiftly and glared at BH; BH had a loud hard swallow from the look. Maxx crossed his arms across his chest as he watched, not sure what to expect.

"Quite an impressive setup you have here but the question is what's the goal?" Bear asked sternly. BH fell again to his knees as he looked up with adoration at Bear. "Well?" Bear said sternly.

"I built all of this for you! The humans were eager to follow and I'm turning them into a weapon we can use to reclaim The White Community." BH pleaded.

"A weapon? With wooden sticks and humans in only their skins... well the animal fur they turned into clothing. You call that a weapon?!" Bear said as he calmed himself a bit then he spun quickly to glare at the bull watching him. Maxx seemed totally unafraid of him and Bear made a mental note to leave a mark that would make him as subservient as BH is.

"I have weapons and armor stolen from the police stations we captured. My best humans are training with these weapons to make themselves stronger so they can teach others. I intend to have my humans get better and then they will capture the army and turn them into our pet soldiers doing our bidding. All I need is time to get them ready."

"How much time do you think you have? The army is getting impatient and will strike at any moment." Bear said.

"But they've given into my demands!" BH protested. "Surely they must fear us if they went out of their way to give you to me."

"Don't be stupid! The deer released me in order to use me against you. He's got plans in motion and he thinks I'm on his side. Is that right rabbit boy?" Bear explained and he glared at Dash. "A spy sent in to record what you're doing. At night he feeds messages to two guards stationed outside and they deliver them to the deer." Dash stepped back in fear and clung to the wall.

"That son of a bitch gave us away! Dash Abort, ABORT!!!!!!" Tyger screamed. Dash frantically looked around for a way to escape when Bear reached out and grabbed him. He held Dash and began to pet his head as his ears lowered.

"I'm taking charge of this operation. What was it you called me? Gawd! Yes to the humans I am now Gawd. You will follow my orders and we will build a new White...Er... Human Community." Bear said. Dash remained motionless in Bear's paws as he waited to learn his fate.

"What about him?" Maxx asked as he pointed to Dash. Bear pet the little rabbit again.

"He's my pet now. I'll use him to feed fake intel to the deer. When you pass messages to the tiger waiting outside the wall you will slip him the notes I give you." Bear said and Dash flinched and narrowed his eyes. "Do you understand me, my pet?" Bear asked. Dash shook his head vigorously.

"There's just one problem. The rabbit is MY pet." Maxx said sourly.

"Oh? Is his slave collar sealed to you?" Bear asked.

"No," Maxx replied bitterly.

"Slave! Who are you sealed to?" Bear asked. Dash hesitated then pointed at Bear. "I sent him in ahead of me to get me the layout of your city. He's always been obedient to me because he is my slave in real life." Bear explained.

"What is this bag of ice up to?" Tyger asked over the earpiece Dash wore that was unseen.

"Then how do you want to proceed?" BH asked.

"To start we have a celebration tonight. The humans must meet their Gawd in the flesh, no? I want to see the lists of our supplies to see what we need gathered. We need to fully prepare for war so we need more weapons and humans trained to use them. Time is short!" Bear said.

"I'll arrange it immediately," BH replied.

"Maxx, you are the storyteller correct?" Bear asked.

"I am."

"I need you to put all your other stories on hold and tell the tales of the little guy fighting evil forces." Bear ordered.

"Fuck you. That encourages these humans to do stupid things and draw the army down on us." Maxx objected.

"You might have a point," Bear said and he placed Dash down on the floor and before anyone could blink Bear lunged at Maxx and slammed his head against the floor. He used all his strength to keep the bull pinned.

"I'm sorry did I interrupt you? Please continue." Bear said sarcastically as he added more force to push the stunned bull against the floor. Maxx felt like if any more strength was used he'd be pushed through the floor.

"Oh, were you finished? Then please allow me to retort." Bear said with an evil grin appeared on his maw.

"When you are surrounded on all sides by the enemy, a brave fur stands fast. For even when all is against them, yet even in defeat, will they win. I will carry out great vengeance on them and punish them in my wrath. Then they will know that I am Gawd, when I take vengeance on them." Bear screamed then he released Maxx as he wiped blood that was dripping from his nose. Maxx sat up with his face swollen as he looked towards BH. BH cheered and applauded as Bear bowed gracefully before him.

"Where'd you come up with that tripe?" Maxx asked sourly.

"I modified a few sayings I remember reading on fortune cookies. Now storyteller, what will the humans think when I tell them that?" Bear asked softly as he leaned close to Maxx. Bear saw the fear in his eyes and smiled more knowing he had accomplished what he wanted.

"Platitudes like that they'll eat up." Maxx replied as he flinched when he saw Bear reach our slowly with his paw. However instead of striking Maxx he petted him the same way he had to Dash.

"Then let this be a lesson my son that you don't fuck with the papa bear, got it?" Bear asked as he glared at Maxx while petting him. Maxx surrendered and lowered his gaze.

"Yes sir," Maxx replied softly.

"What was that? What did you call me?" Bear raised his voice again and stopped petting but instead firmly grabbed the back of Maxx's neck. Maxx looked in fear towards BH who mouthed the response he was supposed to give.

"Yes Papa Bear," Maxx said and Bear chuckled. He began to pet him again and Maxx just sat there hoping he would not start crying.

Bear looked around at the room BH had picked for him. There were several Air Conditioning units in place and Bear let out a sigh of relief at seeing them. Dash and Maxx entered carrying large bags of ice, that mostly Maxx carried because Dash was not strong enough to carry the amount Bear asked for for a ice bath he wanted to cool off in.

"Dash, please go fill the tub, please." Bear ordered and as Dash left to fill the tub in the bathroom Bear pulled Maxx aside.

"I can understand if you hate me Maxx. It really gave me no pleasure to punish you like I did but I cannot allow disrespect from anyone. These humans are mere children, all of them, and we need to lead by example. I need us to be a team, all of us a team. I'm gonna rely on you the most because you are closer to the humans than my son, BH." Bear saw Maxx flinch at hearing BH called by his name instead of Reverend Lord. Maxx remained silent but looked at his feet.

Dash opened the last bag of ice and dumped it into the tub before filling it with water. He was busy listening to the phone call Tyger made as he told his father about Bear's betrayal.

"So how should we handle this?" Tyger asked. Dash unfortunately could not hear Lou's reply to him. With the tub filled he returned to Bear and looked around surprised that Maxx had left. He felt his heart beating rapidly at being along with the large polar bear that knew his secret.

"Come here my son," Bear ordered and Dash lowered his ears as he approached Bear and braced himself as if expecting to be struck by him. Bear gently put his arm around Dash and pulled him close in a sort of hug.

"I'm sorry I had to out you like I did but it was the only way to get my sons to trust me. They were already suspicious when I arrived so I needed to use that against them. I believe Tyger will understand.

I am very much on your side and I want to keep you close so that we can send messages to our allies outside. Another reason I needed to out you because that bull seems to have taken a liking to you and I doubted he would so easily give you to me.

Since we're both double agents I need you to be the face of the resistance. Draw their eyes towards you while they ignore me. I use my... power to undermine BH and your dad Lou," Bear explained but Dash suddenly frowned and crossed his arms angrily across his chest.

"What?" Bear asked. Dash went and got paper and wrote the word FATHER on it then gave it to Bear.

"Ah I see. My apologies. Is he your real father?" Bear asked. Dash took back the paper and wrote a long essay about how Lou was like a father to him and how much he owed the family for everything they did. It then explained how he was doing this as a way to pay them back for the kindness they showed his family.

"That's very brave of you. Now the messages I'll be giving you will be fake... sort of. I expect that BH will want to read them so I mix a little truth in with the lies so no one is the wiser. I need Tyger to find a spot to meet with you so you can pass the messages to him." Dash wrote a message saying that he knew the perfect place for the exchange. He was going to show Tyger after they finished where to go.

"Excellent my son! I'll let you get right on that." Bear said and Dash rushed off.

"Oww" Leggo shouted as Merrik kicked him. "What was that for?"

"For you to stop fidgeting," Merrik said, then he began to scratch his ear again. Leggo looked at him annoyed.

"What'd you got? Fleas?" Leggo asked as he stepped away from him.

"No, just an annoying itch... but if I did get fleas then it's probably from you." Merrik retorted. Leggo rolled his eyes as they waited to be picked up. They stood outside the local mall and Leggo's mouth began to drool as he could smell the food being cooked in the restaurants inside. They vents pushed the scents out as a means to make potential customers hungry.

C.I.Z.A. had picked here as the pick up point to make the spot seem less threatening. This was supposed to be a friendly gathering to get Merrik and Leggo back as full agents. C.I.Z.A. was taking their time since it was now later than the time they pickled. This was making both wolves antsy. Which may have been the point.

Finally an unmarked van pulled up and the sliding door was opened. An aged lion looked at them and motioned for them to enter.

"What's wrong? You look like I ate your tongues." Leonidas said mockingly as they climbed inside and the door was pulled closed by the lion. There were several TV monitors set up displaying images and once ### sat, the tires squeal as the van sped off.

"I though Layla was supposed to be picking us up." Merrik commented.

"Nope, I decided to come personally. Did you guys really think we would not know you were plants?" Leonidas asked as he raised an eyebrow as he stared at them.

"He makes it sound like it was a secret." Leggo commented then he moved away as Merrik started scratching again.

"He must think we're stupid if he thought we didn't expect them to know we were plants." Merrik said.

"Then why are you here?" Leonidas asked impatiently.

"My husband is so twisted in knots trying to save the humans. At this point I'm not convinced it can be so easily done. But since you are involving yourselves then an alliance is the best COA. Lou is many things... an incredible lover, well endowed for a deer, he makes this little beating noise when we're making love that drives me crazy." Leggo explained.

"Gag me with a spoon," Merrik remarked as he stuck his finger in his mouth.

"I thought your husband was against forming an alliance with us?" Leonidas asked suspiciously.

"He is but he's feeling the strain because the military seems impatient. I figured I'd bring this flea bag," Leggo explained.

"Hey!" Merrik objected.

"... and see if I can convince you guys to work with me. My husband doesn't know I'm here.... yet. He's focussed on his other schemes which gives us a chance to try and work things out."

"What was it you two had said? He must think we're stupid? It's a cute lie but I'm not believing it for a second."

"Then you want us to go?" Leggo asked.

"I don 't believe I gave you the option to leave." Leonidas replied evilly.

"Can I get a Tail Waggin' Meal before we go? The smells are making me hungry." Leggo asked. Merrik covered his face with his paw.

"No, hostages don't get meals while they're being cubnapped." Leonidas replied as he started to rub his temples.

"Sure no meals for hostages but what about for us?" Leggo asked.

"He means we're the hostages you fool." Merrik shouted at him as soldiers climbed out of the van and pointed their guns at them.

"No need to snap, it was just a question." Leggo replied to Merrik.

"Either you both shut the fuck up or I'll have you both muzzled." Leonidas shouted and they both stared at him.

"I think he means you," Leggo whispered to Merrik.

"How did this bozo ever make it through Basic?" Leonidas asked rhetorically.

"Are you kittying? He was the most hated new recruit in Basic Training. The trouble was whatever they threw at him he never gave up. He pushed himself until everything broke and then changed their opinion of him. He became a hero if not a legend that year." Merrik explained. Leggo tried to not blush as he attempted to look modest.

"Isn't that sweet," Leonidas replied sarcastically.

"I know everyone was so nice to me." Leggo replied. He began to search his pockets and then took out his wallet to see how much money he had on him. "Anybody want anything while I go on a food run?"

"No you damn fool you're both cubnapped, get it?" Leonidas shouted.

"No for him, what about anyone else?" Leggo asked.

"I could use a coffee." Merrik stated.

"How do you want it?"

"Two creams, two sugars."

"Got it, next!" Leggo said as he looked at the other agents that looked at him with their guns pointed at him.

"Just grab me a burger," One of the agents said and the others turned to look at him. "What?! I missed lunch and he is offering."

"Anyone else want anything?" Leonidas shouted. The rest remained silent as the old lion glanced around.

"Cool be right back." Leggo said as he ran off and Leonidas raised his paw to his soldiers to leave him alone.

"Should your friend not return, I'll skin you alive and wear your fur as a trophee." Leonidas said but Merrik was not bothered in the slightest.

"You really don't know Leggo." Merrik replied. He climbed into the van and waited patiently. Leggo returned 20 minutes later and tossed a burger at the agent that asked for it and he handed a coffee to Merrik.

"What toy did you get?" Merrik asked as Leggo had his sn out sticking into his Tail Waggin Meal Box. Leonidas stared at them in disbelief.

"Awww it's a little tiger! I'm gonna paint it white in honor of my son." Leggo said as he took the toy out and gave the small plastic figure a hug.

"Unbelievable." Leonidas muttered to himself as he rubbed his temples again. Suddenly a cell phone in Leonidas' pocket began to ring. He pulled it out to answer it.

"Yeah,"

"Seems we have a problem," Layla said.

"What is it?"

"Former Agent Bear was seen walking into Salam City." She told him.

"By himself?"

"Affirmative. Seems the deer has gone ahead without us." She said sourly.

No matter, we have his husband with us right now. We can force him to the negotiation table." Leonidas replied and he frowned as Merrik and Leggo began to laugh.

"Talk about dense," Merrik remarked.

"Seriously doesn't he know this was already planned?" Leggo asked rhetorically. The old lion took the phone off his ear as he looked at them.

"What are you two getting at?" he asked.

"I think it's time we called my husband. I believe he's taking charge and YOU boys will have to fall in line." Leggo said as he had a wolfish smile on his face.

"So you two were a distraction so you could sneak in Bear," Leonidas remarked.

"Not exactly, We're kinda Plan G or H or M. Lou doesn't leave anything to chance and species underestimating him, is a flaw he exploits in others." Merrik said.

"Then what exactly is the plan?" Leonidas asked.

Why don't you call him and find out?" Leggo asked.
