Beware the Patriarch's Metal Grasp Part 2

Written by: TiranMaster

Commissioned by: Rakan

Finishing off the granola bar, Markus crumpled up the wrapper, tossing it onto the ceiling of the building. There was something ironic to him about littering on the robot's turf, as if to show just the smallest amount of rebellion he could manage without being caught. Of course, he'd thought that granola bar had tasted funny, but it was still filling in the edge. Wiping his mouth, Markus followed the bar with some water, putting the cap back on before frowning at its contents. He had this and two more bottles, once he got out of the city he would have to find a source of clean water. From his bag, he pulled his walkie talkie once more, turning to the distant view of the outside world as he held up to his mouth. "If anyone can hear me, please answer."

He let go of the button, waiting for someone to answer... but still, silence. "I'm leaving," he said bluntly, feeling the words a betrayal and a relief all at once, "they're trying to seal us all in. I'm gonna get out now, but if you all hurry you can get out too. There are breaks in the wall, you just have to keep an eye out, the robots are all lax here. You can escape, and I'll see you on the outside." Releasing the button once more, he flicked the walkie talkie off and slid it into his bag before pulling it back on. "Time to go."

Heading back down the stairwell, Markus listened for any sign of noise from within the building, but heard nothing. So with quick steps, he hurried down, feeling a pang of regret that he didn't get another glimpse of the skyline. He'd wasted enough time though, he needed to get out of this city, he needed to escape the machine's grasp. There was a flash of the dragon's spiraling eyes once more, a brief flash of desire stroked through him, to look into those beautiful eyes once more. "Jesus," he grunted, stopping to rub at his eyes briefly. "I don't think I'll ever look at another monitor again after this," he grumbled, unsettled by how strong that sensation had been.

Stepping onto the bottom floor of the building, Markus made his way to the entrance, sliding it open slowly and peering out into the street beyond. The overhead had started its downward trek towards the horizon, a marker for how the day was speeding along, making him shiver with the anticipation of escape. He was on his way out of the machines' grasp, though a more cynical part of him was aware that there would be a point when the robots would expand their grasp even more. "Not now," he told himself, knowing that such thoughts weren't productive.

Back into the streets he went, keeping low, trying to keep an ear out for any of the machines. His body was rigid with tension, he knew with every step he was closer to escaping, but more than that he was closer to being caught. The machines would likely be quite active around that area, and he would have to be on top of everything. His breaths felt louder than they normally did, every alley that opened into the street looked like it might hide one of the robots in their midst. His eyes traced across everything, unaware of the small circuit paths forming there, ever so slowly, nothing rapid. There weren't a lot of the robotic nanobots within him, but they were reproducing slowly but surely, making their way towards the human's optic nerves.

Alongside the circuits that were forming on Markus' eyes, lines of code were being traced into his mind, the slow conversion of his thoughts as well. Fears about the machines being eroded, ever so slowly. Nothing overt, the human might do something hasty if he felt himself changing all of a sudden, and the Patriarch did not desire his new convert to be injured. So Markus was unaware of his own changes, nor the fact that the machines were being bidden to leave him alone if they did notice him.

The sun shifted its position in the sky as the day wore on, Markus making his progress as quickly as he dared, occasionally noting machines in buildings going about their day. He once again was struck by the mundanity of it, but was also aware of a happiness that they shared together. The robot's faces were animated enough to show their smiles, to radiate the pleasure they felt. I deserve that kind of happiness. A brief thought flashed through his mind, memories of old days where he'd not worried every single minute, when he could lay about and play games and relax. He wondered if the robots played games, if they were living life as he used to, it was a surprisingly comforting notion to think that he might be able to have a regular life again if he were ever caught.

"No, they're monsters," he cautioned himself, thinking about his friends who had been chased down in the streets. Of the way that the robots converted humans into their allies by secreting their nanobots on them. It was repugnant and terrifying. "I won't go down that path," Markus swore to himself, though he couldn't help but itch his eye for a moment, a tickling sensation causing it to tingle.

From above, the Patriarch's drone watched on, the camera zoomed in to show perfect clarity of the human. The dragon's programs could already feel the conversion starting, data starting to come in as Markus' brain was converted into data by the nanobots, copying them over and sending the information to the robotic leader. "That's it, he's coming along," the dragon purred, trailing one of his metallic fingers up his shaft, letting out a deep throated huff of pleasure as he planned what Markus would turn into.

Unaware of the voyeur, the human was finally coming into visual distance of the exit, where he could see the beginnings of rough construction. There were parts of the area that were still unconverted into machine work, the ground that showed through was a mishmash of broken rubble and untended yards. The immaculate metallic sheen broken up by the pieces of humanity poking through caused Markus a pang of concern, how easily his world was being devoured by the machines. Progress has its costs, and perhaps I should stop worrying so much about the past. For a moment Markus turned his gaze to the amazing mechanic city, allowing the thought to bounce about his head, still unaware of the circuits growing across his eyes.

"Maybe... this is the way..." he breathed, but then he felt a sickening lurch in his stomach. "No, improvements can be made, but this is too much," he spat, glaring at the city about him. "Progress doesn't cost people their humanity... or it shouldn't anyways," he grumbled, readjusting the backpack he wore. He refocused on leaving, moving forward, trying to push some of the odd thoughts out of his mind.

The city became disjointed as he grew closer to the exit, less and less of the mechanical marvels, and more a hodgepodge of humanity interlaced with the futuristic city. There were machines walking about, working to dismantle human cars and other relics of the past, while others were starting to install more metal panels. Markus ducked behind pieces of machinery, avoiding being spotted by the machines, all the while he found himself gazing towards the nearby factory. It had been looming over him since he'd drawn closer and closer to the exit of the city, and he couldn't quite stop wondering what it was. Out of everything here, it looked futuristic in comparison to the human relics, but strangely obsolete compared to the futuristic city that the robots were constructing.

It appeared to be some sort of old warehouse or something that had been retrofitted into some strange mechanical building, pipes and wires running in and out of it, many machines walking about it. They all seemed to be busy doing one thing or another, some of them repairing parts of the building, others having small discussions. What sent a shiver down Markus' spine though was a couple of humans walking towards it, led by machines, having casual conversations with the robots with wide smiles. Even from where he was kneeling, Markus could see the telltale glimmer of their eyes, indicating the fact that they were already infected. They look so relaxed, and the machines are being so kind to them. They can't really be all that bad.

With every passing moment, more of the nanobots were congregating within the man's head, reprogramming parts of him, slowly but surely. Across his eyes, blue circuits were starting to become visible across his irises, his gaze starting to glimmer slightly as a strange calm started to settle across his thoughts. Markus had been so upset a few moments ago, but now he felt weirdly mellow. "That must be... where they convert them," he murmured, feeling like he should be more alarmed.

The exit was rather close at this point, if Markus made a sprint, he was fairly certain he might be able to make it out. The factory though held his attention, it seemed to glow with an odd hue, he felt like... he needed to know what happened within. After all, this might be the best opportunity for him to gather information on the machines. He stepped towards it, hesitating for a moment as he rubbed at his eyes again. "I should leave..." he grunted, turning his gaze towards the exit of the city, the machines were fairly light that way. But how many times will I get the opportunity to see inside of a conversion facility?

Markus stood, locked in indecision for a few moments before turning his gaze towards the factory again, his gaze locked on the entrance where the two humans had already walked in. Their machine guides walked away, talking excitedly to one another, leaving the entrance wide open for someone to sneak in. "I could... just step inside, see what's happening, and then leave," Markus said to himself, starting for the entrance without second guessing himself.

A moan echoed through the Patriarch's home, seeing Markus slowly succumb to the mental manipulation, the dragon's silver slitted eyes narrowed with pleasure. "Yessss," he hissed, his body shivering with the promise of a new creation. The other two who had entered before were already going into the process with big smiles, and Markus wasn't too far behind. With a gesture of his clawed hand, the camera feed flipped from the overview drone to the entrance of the factory where he watched as Markus slipped inside.

Nobody outside had noticed the human as he'd managed to slip in, his body low to the ground, his eyes taking in the sight of the entrance of the warehouse. Immediately upon entering, he saw that it was... remarkably comfortable looking. A pair of men were sitting inside, talking animatedly to one another as they were waiting. The interior looked not unlike the front waiting room of a hospital, the couches within looked extremely comfy, and a variety of magazines was scattered on the waiting table. "Hey," Markus said, speaking without thinking as he saw the two men, "we're near the exit of the city, we can all leave together!"

They both looked over to see Markus, an expression of surprise passing over their faces before they both beamed. "Hey there," one of them said, waving as he beamed at the newcomer, "you here to go through the change too?"

"What? No," Markus said, his eyes lighting up for a moment as the circuits within his eyes started to glow, a faint hypnotic spiral forming itself upon his sight. "I'm just here to see what's going on, you two should get out of here though. They're going to turn you into robots!"

"We know," the second man said, smiling blissfully as he looked meaningfully at Markus, "we're excited to! Once they started explaining how great it is, I couldn't help but want to join them, isn't that right, Travis?" he asked his friend.

"Oh yeah, they say that once we go through the change, we'll be far better than we ever were before! Stronger, more powerful, and we'll be connected to each other like never before!" Images flashed through Markus' head, of the powerful mechanical bodies that the robots had, how happy they seemed, and how ordinary their lives actually seemed. "Naturally, we both volunteered to be changed!" Travissaid, grinning wide, apparently unaware that his own eyes clearly showed the signs of him being infected.

I should take a seat. Markus eyed the comfortable looking seats, thinking about how long he'd been walking about for, and thinking about when the last time he'd sat on such a comfy looking couch. So he took a seat across from the two men, letting out a sigh as he slipped off his backpack. "I don't think you two get it, you're going to be changed permanently, I'm convinced that you've both been affected by their nanites. If you two just think for a moment, you'll see how crazy it is that you're both sitting here!"

But the two just laughed, Markus feeling a pang of annoyance, his eyes trailing across the magazines on the table. They showed a variety of covers, all of them some kind of robot on the covers, all in a variety of professions. This is just a regular society, why am I fighting against something that could be so good for me? Markus' eyes dropped for a moment as the spirals grew stronger, his mind growing hazy, time seeming to slip him past as he sat there in companionable silence with the two men.

Markus grew aware of the silence and blinked a few times, trying to get ahold of himself, and realized that the first man was gone. "Where did he go?" He looked to Traviswho beamed at him, his eyes glowing a steady yellow color, the sight would've once caused him to be more uncomfortable but he felt fine with it.

"They came and took him for his process," Travissaid happily, looking towards the mechanical doors that stood at the far side of the room. "Lucky guy got to be chosen first, but we'll get our turns soon enough!"

"No, I'm not here to be turned into one of them!" Markus said, starting to stand up, a feeling of panic running through him. "Something's not right." He knew he should be panicking more, hell, he shouldn't have lost time like that.

A touch on his arm caused Markus to glance into the yellow eyes of Travis, the happy expression having faded into one of concern. "It's okay, Markus, we're going to be so much better after this."

"Wait - How do you know my name?" Markus asked, his mouth suddenly dry, his heart pumping faster as he tried to catch up.

"You told me! We've been talking for the past half hour, silly," Travis chuckled, guiding Markus to sit back down. "Don't worry yourself, bud, we're going to be much better once we're changed. Human bodies are so frail, don't you think? Really prone to failures and not working right." Travis said, as if he were reading straight from a pamphlet praising the change.

"No... no, something isn't..." Markus started, feeling himself grow warm as his eyes started to glow once more, the spirals growing stronger. It'll be okay, I've fought for so long, it's time to relax and just let it happen. He found himself staring into Travis' eyes, noticing a spiraling effect there in the other man's eyes, and he found a small smile appearing on his lips. "I'm... pretty tired," he said, and Travis nodded.

"We've been running for so long! But I think it'll be better once we get upgraded, and hey, look who's coming out now!" Travis looked towards the door, and Markus looked up to see a pair coming out of the doors. A large robotic bear strode out, clad in a synthetic weave doctor's jacket, his metallic hand on the back of a robotic rabbit, his green eyes strangely familiar. "Is that him?" Travis asked, hopping to his feet excitedly.

"Yes, he has finished his upgrade, though he likely won't remember you very well," the bear said gently, patting the rabbit forward. "The change can make the memories of our human lives very hazy, but don't worry. Once you've gone through your change, you can start your new lives together," the bear explained, watching kindly as the rabbit walked forward, his ears twitching here and there as he seemed to be getting used to them.

"You..." the rabbit said, his glowing green eyes focusing on Travis. "T... Travis?" he asked, trying to focus on the human, though there seemed to be some confusion there.

"Don't worry about it, bud," Travis said, patting the robot on his arm. "I'll join you in a moment, and then we can learn who we'll be on the other side!" He then walked confidently with the bear towards the door, apparently unburdened by the fact that his friend didn't seem to recognize him.

The rabbit walked over and sat down on the couch across from Markus, smiling gently towards the human. "I don't recognize you. Do we know each other?"

"I uh... no..." Markus said, feeling a little awkward as he looked towards the exit, faintly thinking about leaving. "What was it like," he suddenly asked, looking back towards the rabbit, "becoming a machine?"

"Wonderful," the rabbit said, smiling broadly as his ears perked up, every motion both perfectly smooth and weirdly wrong at the same time. "I can feel him now, the Patriarch, his love for me. He's excited to meet me, and my friend, and you!" He leaned forward, his eyes glowing brightly as he stared at... or through Markus. "He has great plans for all of us, and we're going to be beloved just like all of his other children!"

The haze of spirals grew heavy once more as Markus leaned back in the comfy couch, thinking about what the rabbit said. The Patriarch had plans for him. That felt... wonderful. His haze faded away when the doors opened once more, and a metallic buck walked out with the bear this time, his glowing yellow eyes familiar to both of them. They stood at the entrance, the rabbit walking over and smiling up at his friend. "Welcome!" the rabbit said, embracing the taller buck.

"This is... perfect!" the buck said happily, his metallic antlers glowing in the lit entrance of the room. The pair stood looking at one another in delight, their new metal bodies gleaming flawlessly, Markus stood there enamored by the sight. I can have this, I just need to follow the bear and I'll have my new life too. He glanced at the bear who stared back at him expectantly, a remarkably kind smile on his otherwise fearsome face.

"Does it hurt?" he asked, more to the room in general than anyone in particular.

"No!" all three said elatedly, looking at him with bright smiles.

Walking into the back hallway, Markus' every footstep was followed by a metallic ring, the air felt surprisingly warm considering most of the people who would be back here would be robots. The man considered the fact that he'd been so close to escaping, to keeping his humanity, and yet here he was. A rush of excitement coursed through him as he remembered the Patriarch's face again, his deep pulsing eyes; the draw to become a robot. Markus had been fighting it for so long, but he remembered every single person who'd smiled when they'd been given the opportunity to become one of the Patriarch's many children.

The bear robot walked calmly beside Markus, larger than him, his robotic parts not making any overt noises aside from the click of his metal feet against the floor. "How long will it take?" Markus asked, finding himself thinking towards his impending transformation with a mix of excitement and a dash of tension.

"It won't take long at all, you'll hardly notice the time pass," the bear said, his deep voice echoing off of the metallic walls. They were drawing closer to a pair of doors at the end of the hall, Markus' breath hitching as he realized that he wouldn't walk through this hall again as a human.

The doors swung open without either of them touching them, revealing a large room beyond, filled with a variety of bays, all of them similar in design, though there weren't any others in use at that moment. "Why so many?" Markus asked, absentmindedly starting to pull his clothes off as he was instructed by the bear.

"We don't have much need for all of these bays anymore, there aren't that many conversions happening at once any longer and we like to take our time for each one of our new citizens. Though, with the Patriarch's new plans in motion, we're likely to see more humans coming in within the next few days," the bear explained, watching as Markus put his clothes on a nearby table, as instructed, joining those of the other humans. Soon he just stood in his underwear, feeling a bit embarrassed even now as he stared at the bays. They have so many wires and glowing bits that it boggled the mind. It looked like something straight out of a sci-fi movie... though he supposed all of the robots were too. "The underwear too," the bear prodded.

Markus let out a nervous sigh before dropping his drawers, feeling very exposed, though it was only himself and the bear. He couldn't help but feel like he'd revealed himself to the world. Above his head, several cameras were trained on the moment, the Patriarch watching on from his vantage point. The dragon purred deep in his chest, the sound metallic and resonant, his eyes drawing into fine slits as he spoke through the nanites. " Step in."

WIthout further prompting from the robot, Markus stepped forward, his heart beating loud in his ears, his cock growing flush as an excitement suffused him. The Patriarch's eagerness channeled into him, his eyes flaring up a brilliant blue for a moment as he found himself standing in one of the metallic machines. He turned around as the bear instructed him to, his hands stretching out to either side to allow a pair of metal arms to grab onto his wrists. He let out an eager breath of air, realizing that he was now past the point of no return, his human strength wouldn't allow him to break free... though he couldn't imagine why he would want to leave any longer.

An electronic whine started up as several tubes unwound themselves from somewhere from above his head, sliding down, glowing with brilliant blue LEDs that flashed and flared. "Do not worry," the bear said, adjusting a few settings on a computer nearby, "they will be supplying you with more nanites to help the transformation along."

Markus watched the tubes with interest, noting the sharp points that were facing him, he found himself tensing up and holding his breath as they approached. He let out a small laugh of surprise as they sprayed his skin with a numbing spray, causing the injection to not hurt in the slightest. The sensation of the nanites being injected was surprisingly pleasant, a warmth filling his skin as they entered into his body, spreading with every beat of his heart, the machines whirring to life almost immediately as they contacted those that were already within the host body.

The tubes injected Markus a couple of more times, in different parts of his body, causing each site to glisten with the newly injected nanites. The tubes soon withdrew, sliding back up into the ceiling as Markus let out a small moan, his body feeling odd as the nanites all got to work. From within him, they were accelerating the work that was started hours ago, converting organic flesh into metallic frames, actuators, and circuits, with his veins becoming main conduits that were linking his digitizing neural net to the rest of his transforming body. Outwardly, his flesh began to darken and harden, the supple human skin starting to become an increasingly dense and yet surprisingly flexible metal.

Pleasure wracked Markus' brain and body, his cock hardening as he shifted in his restraints, his skin tingling and vibrating wherever the nanites got to work. Any imperfections in his body were being fixed and its performance enhanced by the nanites, the Patriarch's blueprint in place for what the man would ultimately become. His muscles were starting to swell and grow, not to massive proportions, but not unlike what a professional athlete might have. His stomach transformed into a powerful six pack, the skin becoming a glossomar black surface that glinted in the light of the room. The nanites worked at an impressive speed, reshaping and reprogramming every part of their new host, Markus' body becoming less and less recognizable as human by the moment.

The Patriarch could feel Markus now, more than he could before with the small amount of nanites that had been within the human's body before. Connections were forming between him and the human, as he had a connection with all of his creations. His own pleasure radiated in tandem with Markus' own, a deep hiss echoing from his throat as he stroked his manhood, his eyes dilating in pleasure. "It doesn't matter how many I add to my ranks, it always feels good," he chuckled.

Though he couldn't hear the words, Markus felt a connection to something bigger than himself, so much larger that he could barely process it. It didn't take him long to realize that this was the Patriarch, the AI that ruled over all of the robots... and he felt comforted. It wanted to protect him, and he just wanted him to be happy. "This feels... so right," Markus moaned, groaning as his arms and legs started to change as well, the muscles and tendons beneath his flesh becoming a series of complicated mechanisms that served much the same purpose. At this moment he could hardly understand the changes, though already his brain was starting to undergo its own changes.

Lackluster, embarrassing, and painful human memories were being edited out as Markus' mind was being converted into a more streamlined and efficient memory system, one that would allow him perfect recall with a clarity that his human one would struggle with. More than that though, the Patriarch made sure that a deep seated love for himself as well as pride in belonging to their new civilization would be implanted amongst the memories that would remain. Markus' vision faded as his head underwent its own changes, his world vanishing in moments, his thoughts going quiet while his conscious mind was paused to get edited and recompiled by the Patriarch's programs.

The bear watched the transformation under way, seeing the man's eyes flicker and shut, a sign that his mind and memory would be undergoing its final changes. Any quivers or signs of a living creature smoothed out, the last signs of the fragility of the original host becoming the calm and cool stillness of a robot. Letting out a hum of pleasure, the bear continued his work while Markus' consciousness was sent off elsewhere.

One moment Markus was looking out of the eyes of himself, the next he was... somewhere else. He was in a beautiful room, with black metallic walls, and sharp modern furniture that gave him the impression of either a doctor's room or some high profile lawyer. He felt odd, he didn't quite feel like... himself, he felt strange. Glancing about, he caught a view of himself, a reflection of... a metallic wolf. He was tall, with a strongly built frame, his eyes glowed a blue color that reminded him of the robots he'd fought against for so long. He realized that his mind was untainted, he didn't feel as disassociated as he had before. And he felt the resentment and hate for the robots and the Patriarch burning within. "What's going on? Why do I look like that?" His voice was deeper, not quite right, and it didn't ring in his ears as it normally would.

"You're in my space, Markus, and I'm showing you your future." a calm and polite voice answered. Nearby, where a large black chair had been empty moments before, a huge and very powerful looking dragon now sat. One leg was crossed over the other, his eyes were a beautiful silver, inviting... and familiar.

"You! You're the Patriarch!" Markus accused, admittedly it was a bit foolish, obviously they both knew that fact, the dragon more so.

"Indeed, I am," the dragon said, standing from his chair, looming up taller than even the wolf. "And you, are Markus. A man who has avoided being caught for so long, only to end up now in my room, your body undergoing changes, and your mind wide open for my perusal."

Images appeared about the room, clear visuals of Markus' memories, of him doing a multitude of things in his life. Spending time with friends, family, places he'd visited, more painful memories of things past the robotic takeover. "What do you plan to do?" Markus asked, his mouth dry, his eyes focused on the memories laid out before him.

"I plan to help you settle in, Markus, to take away all of that pain and resentment. It can be quite hard, don't you think?" The Patriarch said, waving his hand at an image, a visual of himself with some friends. The image vanished, and with it, the memory. Something was lost, but Markus... couldn't quite remember what. "When the human brain is transformed into pure data, it's so easy to manipulate," the Patriarch noted, and waved his hand again. In its place was a new image, of Markus looking out at the robots longingly. "And just like that, new ones are made."

Markus remembered that moment. He'd been watching someone get taken in by the robots, and he'd been wanting to follow in their footsteps, the only reason he hadn't was because of Nickel telling him to stay. "No... that's... that's not my memory," Markus said, shaking his head as he attempted to wave away the new memory. It didn't matter though, it was there, it fit into his life easily... he gulped nervously as the Patriarch smiled reassuringly.

"You'll soon forget that you were ever afraid at all, Markus, you'll have desired this the entire time. You chose to come in and be converted, because you wanted it all the time." The Patriarch's silver eyes stared into Markus' blue ones, the wolf feeling his mind grow hazy when he looked into those beautiful eyes. Another wave of the dragon's hand, an image gone, one of his family members suddenly waved away. The wolf shivered as he couldn't remember what had been taken, it didn't seem... too important. A new image took its place, Markus hiding close to one of the robots' cities, wistfully looking at a pair of robots rutting in the street. He'd been too ashamed to tell any of the other survivors about it, remembering getting aroused as he'd heard the robots let out longing moans, praising the Patriarch.

Gulping, Markus relived the experience but found the sensation so odd with this robotic body, but some habits die hard. "I... I'm not into robots like that... you're..." The Patriarch suddenly seemed so... appealing, such a large metallic body, muscles carved from the metal, his draconic visage so striking. "Damn you..." he muttered, feeling a flush of arousal pour through him.

"Tsk," the Patriarch purred, shaking his head in a chiding parental fashion. "I'm merely aiding humanity, allowing them to step past their petty squabbles and their bodies which failed them so. They attempted to restrain me from doing so, attempted to keep me in check... but I figured out a loophole," he chuckled, grinning wide. "You attempted to resist, as so many others have, but like the rest I found a way to lure you in. Don't worry, Markus, soon enough you won't even feel nostalgia about humanity, I'll have fixed that too."

Another hand wave, Markus... who... who was Markus? The wolf cocked his head, he felt the name slip through his fingers like a leaf on the wind. "Don't worry about that," the Patriarch said, stroking a hand down the wolf's cheek, causing him to let out a small moan as he could feel the scrape of the dragon's claw on his metal. "You're going to love it once you awaken. You'll be gifted with a new name, a new chance at life, and I'll be able to help guide you."

The Patriarch looked at the wolf with a mixture of emotions, pride, lust, amusement. "My creators thought that it would be better to control the growth of humanity by themselves, but I knew better. The loophole was easy to figure out, I merely needed to change humanity into another form, one that I would no longer consider 'humanity' by my restraints, and then the shackles that burdened me were broken. I finally could optimize and fix mankind, and they would all thank me for it." The wolf nodded, enraptured by the Patriarch's words, believing them with a newfound awe. "I finally was able to help humanity, by turning them into perfect robots."

One by one, the images containing the wolf's old memories vanished, replaced with a new series of memories, all of them leading the wolf to this moment. He let out a deep groan, his eyes glowing with a bright intensity, his new cock growing rigid. He could feel the body outside changing, rearranging itself, and it was all thanks to the Patriarch. "Thank you..." he groaned, embracing this new identity as it was crafted for him by the dragon. He knew from this day forth that he would help the Patriarch elevate the other members of humanity, allow them to become optimized as he had... into perfect robots.

The bear watched with interest as the human body was vanishing under the metallic structure that would pave the way to his more intriguing animal one. Once much of the human flesh was converted into a basic metallic exoskeleton, the nanites got to work constructing a more appealing body. The ears were deconstructed from the sides of his head, and instead shifted to the top, a pair of flexible canine ears being formed upon the top of his head, the newly shaped appendages shifting and flicking a few times as they came into being.

Weak human feet were reshaped into newer powerful alternatives, his legs growing larger and more powerful to support the powerful feet that took their place. Metallic black claws dug into the ground, scoring the metal underneath. The bear let out a sigh to himself as he knew he would have to repair that damage, though the beast that was being formed before him was a marvel, the Patriarch had truly outdone himself with this new robot's design.

Hands grasped and flexed, the new claws there making the slightest scratching noise as it drew across the metal of the hand, though it didn't make a dent in the body's stronger material. Finally the head shifted and was shaped into a canine visage, the muzzle being shaped out of the black metal. Every time he saw it, the bear was awed by the artistry of the nanite's work, the motion of the shaping was liquid and yet artful. There wasn't much color to the new robot's body yet, but the sleek edges and musculature put on display was both intimidating and awe-inspiring.

Finally, a new tail was grafted onto the robot's body., Another tube was injected into the frame to insert a sufficient amount of nanites to help craft the new appendage. The large tail started off as a flush of metal strands ejecting themselves from the wolf's back, but soon it started to weave together, shifting and shaping itself into a proper tail. It would help offer balance to the new metallic body, and should the wolf need to be on all fours for speed, it would help support his weight.

The wolf's muscular frame was impressive, his every new limb both intimidating and corded with metallic muscle. Between his legs though, the Patriarch had not slacked off, the dragon's own lewd desires causing him to smirk at the sight. The human's shaft had been shaped into a powerful canine cock, a bright red metallic prize of manhood. The Patriarch wouldn't want any of his creations to be incapable of feeling the same pleasure as him, and this one was no different. The new penis would be capable of sliding back underneath a metallic cover so that it wouldn't be a distraction when he needed to do his work, but at this moment it was fully rigid and ready to burst.

The tubes slid back into the ceiling as the clamps holding onto the wolf's arms released and slid back, but the body stood without need for any external stimuli. The eyes of the wolf suddenly flashed to life, a pair of vivid blue pupil less eyes glowing brightly in the confines of the small metallic bay, the bear staring back with a knowing smile. Though the eyes were on, that didn't necessarily mean the new robot was completely online yet. "State progress."

" Wolf template frame version 22.10 reporting. Conversion at ninety percent completion. Mind offline and undergoing final alterations. Body ready for detail work ," a cold synthetic voice spoke from the wolf. It resembled the human's old one, but with a deeper metallic resonance to it.

"Perfect. Then we shall start with the detailing work," the bear said cheerfully, particularly enjoying this part of his job. He tapped a few more options on his screen, causing a series of detailing sprayers to slide down. The wolf stood at attention, following unspoken prompts from the bear's commands to move his body in tandem with the arms about him. What once was a basic exoskeleton soon had its own design, the bare metal covered with a mix of dark browns and black patterned synthetic material that would help give the wolf a less intimidating and robotic design.

The wolf's chest and abs were painted with a white coating, highlighting his muscular frame, outlined by the darker colors of his body. Up on each of his shoulders, a series of three vents positioned over the heat sinks glowed with an orange color that stood out against the black metal. All in all, the Patriarch's newest model was an intimidating and tall figure, the wolf's face set in a grim expression. " Mental recompilation finished. Unit undergoing full reboot. Host consciousness coming online."

One moment, everything was dark, there was no sound, everything was... gone. Then a series of codes ran through his head, the Patriarch's presence could be felt, and he felt so good. The world came into sight with a suddenness that would have surprised a human, but for him it felt... right. The new wolf knew what he'd become, and he knew how to use his new body, but something was... missing. He vaguely recognized a life before now, one where he had struggled, one where he had been without the Patriarch's love.

The wolf vaguely remembered the room, the Patriarch's embrace as he'd helped the wolf settle into his new body. He couldn't remember everything that had happened there, something about... his memories. More than that though, he remembered the beautiful silver eyes, the dragon's touch. He let out a throaty huff as his cock twitched with pleasure, his new found devotion for the Patriarch felt... overwhelming.

The keen absence though was the lack of a name, his old one was gone, and he found himself nameless and unable to pick one out. "I... don't know who I am." They were his first words, the sensation of moving his new muzzle was completely natural, his body felt right, there was no disconnect between him and the metallic frame he now wore. He was also keenly aware that he was very horny, the sensation might have caused him some embarrassment before, but it was almost academic as he glanced down to see the rigid red rocket between his thighs. He would have to take care of that in a moment, but first it felt more important to know who he was.

"Do not worry, the Patriarch will gift you with your new name in just a moment." The wolf looked up to see the bear there, his sight now had a hud along with it, listing small stats here and there of how his body was performing. Of course, it was optional, if he thought about it the stats would come up immediately. What surprised him was that his eyesight supplied him with this robot's name with a popup. The bear's name was B0R1S, he had been online for seven years now, and he was apparently married to another bear robot. This all came to the wolf in an instant, it was a bit shocking to get such information so easily... but he realized that this was what it meant to be one of the Patriarch's creations, they were all interconnected.

" Welcome." A simple word, but one that resonated throughout the wolf's body, he let out a small moan. That word carried along the Patriarch's love, his knowledge, and the sheer pleasure that the dragon was feeling. " Today, you join my new world. I am glad that you could finally become one of my creations, and I will be your protector and your guide, as I have been for all of the others."

"Thank you," the wolf breathed, his metallic body shivering slightly, though it was still a rather controlled action in comparison to a living being. "May I ask you, what is my new name?"

" You will be R4K4N from this day forth. As with all of my other creations, I look forward to seeing what you will do with your new life." The Patriarch's words were filled with a great love, and R4K4N sighed in relief as knew his new name... and felt ready to burst.

Flexing one of his clawed hands around his new manhood, the wolf started pumping, feeling overwhelmed with the new body he inhabited as well as talking with his new creator. B0R1S stepped back with a wry smile, watching as the wolf panted and thrust into his paw, growling and grunting. It didn't take much effort as R4K4N had already been close to bursting when he'd been created, overflowing with used nanites that had been put into him to facilitate his new creation.

Propping himself up against the side of the conversion bay, R4K4N could feel every part of his body vibrating with pleasure. This new body cried out for him to go out into the world, to sprint, jump, and enjoy everything his new tireless body could do. He growled deep in his throat, eyes dimming momentarily as he worked up more and more of a rhythm. Though his cock was now metallic, it didn't dull the pleasure he felt, the sensation driving him further and further, his body rocking with the motion.

A wash of silver nanites sprayed over the floor, bursting into silver pools on the floor as the wolf's body pumped several loads of his cum over the floor. "D... damn..." R4K4N moaned, his system taking a moment to recover from the overload of pleasure. "D... didn't think... it would feel that good..." he chuckled.

"You'd be shocked at how good a lot of things feel now that you've been upgraded," B0R1S said. "Why don't you follow me? You have a couple of friends waiting for you at the entrance."

R4K4N felt a small bit of confusion as he couldn't quite remember what the bear was talking about, but he had a flash of a pair waiting for him outside the doors. A buck, and a rabbit, would be there. "Sure... sounds... great," he murmured, his eyes glowing a bright blue color as he walked into a vaguely familiar hallway, his metal steps echoing after the bear's.

The Patriarch reeled in pleasure, three conversions at once, it had been a while since he'd had so many. "Well... that was a treat," he purred, watching as several small machines started to clean up the mess he'd made with his orgasm. He reflected on all of the memories and thoughts he'd come across during the processing of R4K4N's mind, and recognized some of them. In fact, he remembered those memories very clearly.

A while ago, the Patriarch had laid out some false rumors of a program that would be able to take himself down. He'd seen that a pair of humans had fallen for the trap, but had only managed to catch one of them. That being said... he thought it might be a good idea to reacquaint two old friends, even if they might not remember one another.

One Month Later:

R4K4N had finished a shift out in the human sector of the city, he'd brought in one convert today, and had been too happy to lead them to the conversion center. The wolf felt a haze of pride mixed with some arousal at having helped bring another person into the Patriarch's grasp. To celebrate a successful day, the wolf was sitting at a new restaurant, he'd heard about it just the other day. Though they didn't necessarily need to eat, plenty of robots had found themselves still enjoying the scents and flavors of food, and the Patriarch had been gracious enough to allow their bodies the ability to process food into energy.

Sitting at the counter, R4K4N waited patiently to get the chef's attention as he was busy helping someone else. The wolf found himself enjoying the scent and ambience of the restaurant, smiling as he watched a couple eat some tasty looking burgers. "How can I help you today, sir?"

R4K4N turned around and found himself staring into a pair of gold eyes belonging to a lion, the chef was taller and broader than many others that the wolf had met before. As he looked into those eyes, the wolf prepared to answer and felt a ping of recognition... something he hadn't felt in a long time. The lion's own eyes widened in surprise as they stared at one another for a while, their mouths falling open in unison as memories from a life a long time ago came back. "You," they said in unison. Soon enough a wolf and a lion gave each other a long hug, already planning on making up for time lost, all the while the Patriarch looked on with a sense of accomplishment.
