Magnum is moving around what looks like a city, the architecture looks to be mystic but other then that can't make anything else out. The mystic wolf turns a few corners to find quite a view waiting for him as he finds he is extremely high up, approximating he is up by about a couple thousand meters, he looks behind him and sees the structure is even taller.

Magnum turns back around 'A tower?', his gaze scanning every surface 'This must be from the hammer...'

This golden light flashes and now near the structure is a massive flying object, at the bottom it looks like a pyramid but then changes angles about a quarter up to where it spreads out into the shape of a six-pointed star. He can't make out any details from where he is but it looks like a massive floating fortress. It gets closer and closer to where he can start to see some details and it is nothing short of fascinating, there's this faint bluish glow circulating around it, the outside baring vines and leafs alongside the stone and metal forming the overall structure itself. Gems of various sizes are plastered with the largest being red and diamond shaped and are aglow with power, the wolf feels a presence from the structure... and he's felt it before...

This field forms around the floating structure, red beams start to fire from the red gems at the tower the wolf is standing on, none of the beams come anywhere near the wolf, even though it is a dream it switches him into that mode as his mind is already finding tactics he can use. The clanking of armor catches his attention, he looks behind him and sees two mystics coming his way.

The first is a wolf, his armor is white with gold trim as a red cape flows from him, his weapon is a long sword, the cross guard and pommel are gold while the grip is black, the guard and pommel baring heavy engraving with the fist half of the blade baring similar work. His eyes are emerald green while his hair is a radiating gold, the markings on his white fur being light orange as they wrap around his eyes before going to his upper muzzle and nose.

The other mystic is a fox, her armor having gold plates with the chest having a perfect diamond in the center with the visible clothing underneath being purple, she has the same gold markings that the mystic foxes possess, her patterns being zigzags going along the sides of her head with her eyes being an orange-slaved gold, her weapon being the warhammer in Magnum's possession.

The wolf eyes the bastion "That son of a whore... he's made good on his threat Prov'ka!", he looks to the fox "Reinforcements are en route but we need to strike now!"

The vixen takes a step forward "They will pay for this transgression.", she glances to the wolf "Ga'in, we can't allow them to take the tower!"

The bastion emits a collective red light and projects a symbol, it's a seven and curved but unlike the cults use the curved portion is reversed. On that the wolf and fox run in the direction of the fortress as it unleashes more blasts as what looks to be assault craft begin to emerge from the flying structure and everything goes white...

Magnum's eyes shoot open, he looks around and sees he's laying in bed with Vanessa, Sabrina, Saraphina and Annabelle, all four of them cuddling against him as they wear their pj's in pleasant slumber. His mate is to his right and Annabelle is on his left, Sabrina and Saraphina are laying their heads on his chest and tummy as they lay on their sides to fit in the space between the skunk and mare respectively to snuggle the mystic canine.

The past few days have been really something as the five anthros have been enjoying each others company with the wolf enjoying it the most, he doesn't want to wake them but given the dream he just had he doesn't have much of a choice. He gives the skunk and mare some nuzzles while having a gentle breeze blow over the doe and rabbit, the ladies move as they yawn and open their eyes, immediately they start cuddling with the mystic as they give tired but satisfied grins. He can see instantly what is on their minds but he simply shrugs and sits a little up with each of the ladies giving him a morning kiss... he has quite the group to say the least, four older women to cuddle and love with.

Magnum has his communication device fly to him and opens comms "Elvo, do you copy?"

Elvo's hologram appears "I copy brot..." her eyes scanning the room for a few moments as she becomes stunned, she regains herself and looks to the wolf "What is on your mind?" regaining herself.

"I know it sounds weird but I think I gained a lead from the probe Annabelle put in place. Try to find anything mentioning the two named Prov'ka and Ga'in along with mention of a tall tower and flying fortress with plants and energy-firing gems, it resembles a six-pointed star and has somekind of field."

The coyote gives a nod "I'll get to it right away, also the key is currently at 87 percent complete."

"Either way we'll hopefully have an answer soon, thank you Elvo." with a warm smirk.

Elvo's image disappears as she gives a smile of her own, Annabelle sits up a little more and gently pulls him into her bust, he brings his left arm around her as he pulls Vanessa in who lays her head on his right shoulder, Saraphina and Sabrina move up a little before sitting up themselves, they nuzzle his nose and caress his cheeks as the mare kisses the top of his head and the skunk kisses the side of his neck. The smile on his face becomes warmer as he feels their soft touch and Vanessa begins to hum to him, he looks to each one of them, some light tears start to form as he tightens his embrace a little on the mare and skunk a little, his tail giving a soft wag, Sabrina clears his tears and she and the rabbit join in embracing him.

He's with his ladies, a group of solid women who have aged like fine wine and to him are just as refined.... as far as he's concerned he's in a perfect spot.

Vanessa coos "I guess we better get back to work."

The wolf looks to her "Yeah, we need too. Trust me if we were merely on vacation... I wouldn't get out of bed at all and we would get back at it."

Annabelle giggles "I know we would be.", she pets his hair "Is there enough room on your ship for Saraphina and I?"

The rabbit gives him a bunny kiss "I'm sure you have need for a paramedic and a therapist."

Magnum gives a light chuckle "There's no need for you two to work your charm, we have plenty of room.", he lays his head against the mare, his ear going over near where her heart his, he smiles as he hears her heartbeat and gives a happy sigh.

The ladies give some warm giggles at the sight of the wolf melting, Saraphina gives him a kiss "Also I forgot to say this earlier.", she caresses his cheek "You put male rabbits to shame." with a flutter of her eyes.

The five get ready with some showers with all the mature women wanting to shower with Magnum but he turns them down as he knows what it'll lead too, he wants to have more fun too but he has a mission to do and he has to see it through. Besides his dad contacts him and says he wants him to come over with his crew and whoever else, the ladies put a little more effort into getting ready as Vanessa contacts Bensen and Marie, Magnum contacts Derra, Poralla and Marouge and extends the invitation to them and they accept as they could use a distraction.

Vanessa, Sabrina, Saraphina and Annabelle help the wolf with his dress clothes given they've basically been on the floor for a few days, the shuttle picks them up with those in space already aboard and they quickly make their way to Brom's place, Derra is wearing his knight robes while the vixen and weasel wear their uniforms while Marie and Bensen are wearing dress clothes in similar fashion to Magnum. The group makes it too Brom's place, Magnum rings the doorbell and his father answers the door, a huge smile forming on his face at the sight of many joining his son.

Brom hugs his son "The big man is here!"

Magnum hugs him back "Is everything okay dad? You didn't give too many details."

Brom invites them in, he brings the group to the living room, all of a sudden the lights turn on and this small crowd yells "SURPRISE!!!" which causes Magnum to jump in surprise but Vanessa catches him, Brom joins the crowd and he and them say at the same time "Welcome home Magnum!"

Magnum looks the crowd over, he sees the few friends he made in school and a good chunk of those who were friends with his parents, a smile forms on his face as he regains his balance while those with him start to join the crowd and cheer.

Brom chuckles "Everyone recognized you on the news and it wasn't hard to reach out and put something together."

Magnum blinks, he puts on a smirk "I was wondering why you were so pre-occupied.", he looks around "It's wonderful to see everyone again."

The party starts to get underway but Brom brings up that his son wanted to talk about something to which Magnum says he wants to talk in private, the two leave the party and head down the hall to his fathers bedroom. Magnum is dreading what will happen but his father deserves to know the truth about what happened to his mom, no matter how bad it might hurt. Vanesssa and Sabrina see it in his eyes as the two wolves leave, they don't know what to expect either but they wish the mystic luck as it can go south very quickly.

Brom closes the door behind him "So, what does my boy wanna talk about?" still having that excited grin.

Magnum takes a breath "It's kind of hard for me to talk about but... can we please talk about mom?"

The older wolfs smile fades near instantly, he sighs "Yeah sure.", he sits on his bed "To be honest with you Magnum, we simply couldn't make it work. I was too stubborn when it came to handling things and I wouldn't listen to what your mother had to say a good chunk of the time.", he looks to his son "I've had three years to think about it and we should have sat you down and told you where we stood that way you could process it and it wouldn't have come as such a shock to you. I was just worried that because you were closer to Farryn then me, you would think less of your father. Heck I was worried where you would stand with both of us."

Magnum shifts his weight a little as he processes his fathers words "Dad, I wouldn't have thought less of either one of you and yeah I was closer to mom but I still would want both of you in my life."

Some tears come to his fathers eyes "That's great to hear, but she's gone son, she got caught in a storm and she died along with the whole police department where she was." he wipes his eyes.

Magnum gulps "That is... what I wanted to talk to you about." earning his fathers full attention as he gets extremely nervous real fast.

The party is going on without a hitch withe everyone getting to know each other with Magnum's new friends and allies, all of them amazed to hear Vanessa is his mate, the guys in particular getting extremely jealous by it but they congratulate Magnum either way.

Vanessa excuses herself to look for the restroom, she goes down the hallways when she thinks she hears someone yelling, she goes to the source and she can hear Magnum and Brom, she opens the door and enters to quite a sight and quickly closes the door behind her.

Brom points at his son "I don't care what you say! You are a murderer!" his features full of rage.

Magnum sighs and is on the verge of tears "Dad, I didn't mean for it to happen! I didn't know about my powers and how to control them!"

"That doesn't excuse it!" he takes a few steps towards him "The bottom line is you killed your mother!"

"Dad, please let me explain myself..."

"I don't want to hear this anymore, I want you gone and not to come back!"

Brom's words hit Magnum hard and Vanessa can see him falling apart as she gets worked up herself as she's getting angry and emotional...

The skunk steps forward as she eyes Brom "How can you say that to your son?"

Brom looks to her "What do you want me to say?!" his gaze goes to Magnum "All I am hearing is excuse after excuse..."

Magnum finally decides he's heard enough and begins to walk away but Vanessa stops him "Magnum, please stay.", her gaze slowly goes to Brom, she sighs "If you won't listen to him, at least listen to me."

Brom blinks at her, he can see at glance how aggravated she is and she honestly looks like she's ready to slap some sense into him if it came down to it.

Vanessa composes herself "Brom, let me ask you this... how was Magnum suppose to prepare for what happened? There are no mystics on this world, heck up until half a year ago they weren't where they are now."

The older wolf does his best to hold himself together "What difference does that make?"

"Magnum regrets what happened and he wishes he could take it back but he can't. While he was on our world he overcame some personal demons and Sabrina and I experienced his memories, we saw the world through his eyes and we were heartbroken from what transpired, but he never lost faith in either of you and your family had all the love in the world, without any preparation where you and his mother stood he couldn't handle it and it just went into this domino effect.", she wipes a tear away "Then Farryn came to his aid and put his feelings to peace, she doesn't hold any malice towards him and helped him forgive himself so he could start moving past the trauma."

Brom looks to his son who nods, he looks to the skunk "What if it was your late husband he killed, would you be so forgiving then?"

Vanessa gives him a glare "Magnum isn't responsible for that, he was taken while my children were still pups.", she sighs "You are right though, I don't know how I would feel. But stop finding excuses to pass what you may be thinking, none of us are perfect and we all have made mistakes. Magnum, your son and my mate has been through so much in such a short span of time, he's already lost one parent, please don't take the other one away from him, you can heal together just like how my children and I had to do when we lost Lucas. You lost your mate and he lost his mom, instead of yelling and blaming him, please talk to him... because if he walks out that door he will never come back even if you finally come to terms with it. You haven't lost your son yet, but you are about to and your worst fears will come true by your hands.", she moves over Magnum and brings him into an embrace, she looks to Brom "Please, look at your son... what do you see?"

Brom looks to Magnum, the mystic wolfs eyes are bloodshot as tears leave his eyes, his body shaking as he clings to Vanessa. Brom thinks back to when Magnum was growing up, after kids or in some cases adults picked on him badly enough he would cry into either his mom or himself, most wanted Magnum to disappear, heck some even wanted Magnum put down for how different he was, he remembers slugging quite few of them out for how some tormented his son. No one wanted to understand Magnum, no one wanted to hear his side of the story... now here he was doing the very same thing to his son.

The wolf sighs, takes some deep breathes, he looks to them "I see myself doing to my son what many others have done, be a jerk and not wanting anything to do with him. I think most were afraid of him because no one saw anything like him before and no one wanted to get to know or understand him." he steps towards the pair "Here I am replicating the same mistake I made with your mother. Vanessa is right and I think it's what you want to do."

Magnum regains himself "Mom meant a lot to both of us, heck she still does, we can remember her and celebrate who she was. It took me a long time to forgive myself for what happened and up until she materialized I thought she hated me with all her being and that she would never forgive me. After we spoke, I gave her a funeral in my own way, I sung a song that the three of us use to play and one I never understood until that moment as I shared my memories of her. I no longer ask myself what could have been, I have come to accept those circumstances, not just for everyone else but mostly for me. I still struggle with depression and I still have emotional issues, but ever since I came to terms with it all, it made everything a little easier.", he takes a breath "You and I still have a chance, I just wanted you to know the truth, the full truth." gently breaking his embrace with Vanessa "Can we... still be a family?" with tears leaving his eyes once more.

Brom brings his son into an embrace which Magnum returns, the two tighten their hugs and start to cry to themselves. Vanessa gives them a warm smile and quietly steps out of the room to give them some privacy. The skunk eventually finds the restroom and makes her way back to the party, she rejoins Sabrina as the doe gets a drink.

Sabrina looks to the skunk "Are the guys alright?"

Vanessa sighs as she takes a drink, she looks to the doe "They are grieving together, it's best if we give them some space to process.", she takes a sip of the soda "They have a lot to work out and they have a lot of wounds that are deep.", her gaze goes to Bensen and Marie "But they will heal." with a warm grin.

Sabrina nods "Most do, after some tears and sobs they'll talk and work from there."

The party goes on with Magnum and Brom eventually joining in, their tears and cries replaced with smiles and cheer, the sight bringing warm smirks to the doe and skunk. The party goes without anything else going on as the two wolves definitely look like they've talked and have cleared everything up, even doing a toast in remembering Farryn and that they wished she was there, which causes Vanessa to try to hide her tears as best she could because she didn't want any attention on her, to the skunk it's beautiful seeing Magnum and his father still hanging with each other despite such a heated argument, with Brom even going up to her and apologizing for what he said earlier.

For those that came with the mystic, it's refreshing to see him simply being himself as he chats away with all his old friends, the crowd Brom invited over is mostly around his age with very few around Magnum's, only around half a dozen at most and all of them guys. Watching the younger guys play catch up and getting to know Bensen and Marie is really opening up some doors too.

Kathleen is storming around the bridge "We have covered half distance, let's show them what we have been conjuring. Prepare the offerings, it's time we show our teeth!"

Circie giggles "All forward units are to move and get their attention."

With the order from the jackal, all the vessels under the cults banner begin making blood sacrifices, with some of the larger vessels enjoying more cardinal undertakings, many of the smaller vessels become engulfed in red flame before exploding into energy, across all the remaining cult vessel a red shield overlaps them in a torrent of screams, orgasmic moans and cries of woe, the fields are sending out jolts and flares and a few moments later the vessels vanish.

Magnum's communicator beeps furiously which catches everyone's attention and Brom turns the music off as his son answers it "Elvo? What's going on?"

Elvo's image appears "The enemy forces we've been tracking have disappeared and the enemies vanguard is moving towards the belt."

Everyone looks to each other before most settle their gaze on the mystic crusader, a his comm beeps and Magnum connects the signals "Mo'Ceva?"

The mystic vixen's face appears "There's this burst of magic, it spiked when the enemy disappeared. We can feel the wave of it coming towards us, at the rate they are going they'll arrive within a few hours!"

Magnum puts on more stern gaze "Can you tell where they'll drop out of their warp?"

"They can arrive anywhere in the Sol System!"

Magnum looks around, he sighs "I hate to cut it short everyone, but we need to get up there."

Brom puts on a smirk and nods, he moves up to his son, he puts his hand on his sons shoulder "Go get em tiger!"

Magnum gives a grin back, he looks to his allies "Everyone, red alert! Everyone to battle stations!"

The group heads up to space with Annabelle and Saraphina going with them as Magnum knows their skill sets will be of good use, the vixen and weasel are dropped off first, followed by the hyena and the rest get to Magnum's dreadnought. Magnum and Bensen get adorned in their power armors while the ladies put on some carapace armor save for Annabelle as they don't have a suit that can fit her and get some weapons together with Elvo guiding Saraphina to the primary medical bay.

The enemy vanguard and the belt defenses are squaring off, the enemy frigates fire their flak against the incoming missiles while they return fire, mines detonate and destroy the cult vessels as waves of laser and autocannon fire hits them, the monitors open fire with dual 18 inch cannon turrets, missiles batteries, drones launch from a few barring the launchers and counter the enemy missiles with point defense lasers while their powerful shields take a ton of the damage. After about an hour the enemy vanguard is wiped out by the outer defenses, but this red energy soon comes from the floating hulks, the energy chaining around the belt and knocking out the remaining units in he belt before they explode and joining the debris, the energy comes together into central point near Jupiter and launches itself in a concentrated beam, it stops just in front of Mars, two beams fire and snatch the moons Phobos and Deimos, bringing the two into a clockwise orbit around the red energy.

Everyone is looking at the phenomenon in pure shock while those on Earth are gripped in horror from the sight, many red spheres open up and the enemy fleet that had disappeared is manifested again....

Elvo's image appears "Most of the enemy forces are in front of Mars, but they have us and Earth surrounded and...", he eyes go wide as she realizes what she is picking up "They have siege weaponry!"

Magnum eyes a viewer "On screen."

Three massive ships appear on screen, they are basically extremely large beam cannons with massive engines on either side and rear.

Elvo looks to her brother "There are no frigates or destroyers, only cruiser lines from and standard to heavy and battle, carriers, battleships make up the fleet and we are severely outnumbered."

The mystic looks to the coyote "How many?"

What Elvo says is nothing short of extraordinary, together Magnum and the other forces combined are about fifty vessels strong, the enemy fleet numbers are staggering. Roughly eight hundred cruisers of various classes and types make up the bulk of the enemy forces, two hundred and seventeen carriers from escort units to those that rival the size of battleships and 81 battleships make up the rest alongside the siege cannons, they also identify Circie's personal ship among their numbers.

They have failed to crack the code in time... but now they need to face the enemy, especially since Elvo informs them that many of them are closing in... the battle for the Sol System is now underway...

Magnum raises his power sword as his eyes give a powerful glow "Everyone...." he aims it at the enemy forces "TO WAR!!!"

Laughter emerges from the darkness of the hideous fortress, the purple eyes seeing the new storms taking place above "We are returning soon... now all the faithful have to do is offer more of their souls to us and perish. We will finally bring this galaxy and by extension the universe itself to our rule!"
