The Black Mass
Dunthyon awoke, alarmed, as he heard a strange noise coming from downstairs. The Cat had a distinct brown line from his nose to his hairline. He armed himself only with a razor, and a metal baseball bat. Slowly, Dunthyon creeped down the stairs and peered around the corner of the staircase. "Oh my god..." said the cat, as he realized that this wasn't a robber.He had heard of this thing before, a black mass of some sort. The other day he had talked to Alex about this, he thought it only a myth, but there it was! The mass had stood there, motionless, as if scoping dunthyon out. It lunged forward and grasped Dunthyon's face. Dunthyon couldn't breathe. The muffled screams of pain turned to wails of torture. Soon, the cat had layed motionless on the kitchen floor. He awoke in bed again, only this time, he felt a strange feeling of anger and hatred. He had tried to get up, but his legs felt numb and wouldn't move. He had been possessed. There were 5 stages to mutation, step one: emotional imbalance. Step two: Total loss of control. Step three: Insanity. Step four: Extreme agony, and many organs shutting down. Step five, and the most painful: The morphing into a Demon.
Dunthyon HAD to get this thing off, and if he hadn't, before he knew it, he'd be killing off all of his friends and family. He could never hurt anyone he knew or loved, but this thing, this...monster... would be making him kill everyone he could find. He knew of ONE Anthro that could help him. His name was never revealed, but Dunthyon called him Frozen Death. He lived only in cold places and frequently moved to escape from Assassins. He was the most infamous Anthro in the whole damned world! Dunthyon would first need to learn where Frozen Death was. This wouldn't be easy, but not impossible to do. Dunthyon wasted no time and attempted to move. He was still immobilized. He would have to wait for a while before becoming mobile again. Alex made a serum to cure paralasis, but dunthyon had no idea how to get that serum if he was immobilized. The mass was creeping up quicker every second, and Dunthyon had no choice but to allow it. The Mass got to his head and covered his mouth. After an hour of painful waiting, Dunthyon was able to move, but he started feeling angrier. The Mass was starting phase 2, because Dunthyon had a sudden burst of unimaginable rage and threw his TV at his neighbor. Dunthyon had to start his quest before it was too late...
