Eevee (The Neurotypical)

The first Pokemon I knew in my life was Eevee. Or Mother Eevee as few Pokemon have called her. When she took me in, she named me Artemis. She also said that I scared her because I fell to the ground and began to look like I was possessed.

Eevee's POV

Hmm...so many pretty things to wear. Oh? Well, how could I have forgotten this? I pick up the shiny collar that a human made for their mate, and I put it around my neck. "Don't I look gorgeous," I ask Shinx. Shinx pauses in his sorting and turns to look at me. "Uh, yeah," he says a little hesitantly. "It's just too perfect for this snowy weather if you ask me," I said as I looked at my reflection. Shinx sighs as he turns back to sort out 'my mess' for about the five thousandth time, "Sure." I grabbed my bag and walked out with Buneary hopping behind me. I'm a collector of human things as you can see, whether it be a dropping that the human didn't pick up, or a raid at a Pokemon trainer's camp. Just...like...this one. "Look at this shelter. It looks like an Abomasnow attacked. Oh Buneary, look at this! I think these humans were collectors too! Look at all these...Pokemon...heads?" No, no, no! This was a Pokemon hunter! "Mother Eevee," Buneary calls. I turn towards Buneary, who's ears are turning every which way.?"What's that crying sound," she asks. Hm. So I'm not hearing things then. I put my bag down and begin searching around. "You search too, Buneary." "Okay." Buneary and I look, well I look in every place around the camp. Honestly Buneary, do you HAVE to look at every bush you see? Unfortunately all I could see were Pokemon heads and skins. The noise. It's somewhere around here. "BUNEARY! Stop shoving your head in bushes," I yell. "But it has a lot of twigs," she shouts back. "Ugh. Every bush has a lot of twigs Buneary! Now help me look!" Buneary went to look under the skinned Pokemon. Ew. I look under heads. Even more gross than the skins. Definitely ew. I look under skins. Oh my gosh, how do humans even like this? Uggghh. I think I'm about to give up. But there was another shelter. I haven't checked it yet. I go to the other shelter, and the noise is louder. But it was also very smelly. I go inside,?there is the hunter, lying on the ground dead. "Hmph. They deserved it." Buneary hops to my side. Being curious to see what was in there. I slowly wander around the shelter. "Be careful Buneary, anything in here could be a trap." Now that I think about it, the human could be faking their death and waiting for some random Pokemon to come find whatever the sound is. I slowly look to the side of me. There is something...that isn't a dead Pokemon. I carefully sniff it. I've seen how Pokemon hunters lure their catch. Food. This one lures Pokemon with curiosity. "How clever...," I murmur. But I'm no fool. Unlike them who will go for the bait. I take a deep breath. "Well you may as well just go ahead and laugh at me. Because whatever is under here, must be absolutely, most terrifyingly, too disturbingly, gross." I carefully pull the skin off. And at that moment, it seems as if I have forgotten why I was even here. A human child...and it's still inside its egg! No Eevee! You must resist! Grrr! But it's just... "Mother Eevee, look! It's a human child!"

"I am aware of that."

"Can we take it home? PLEEEEEASE?"

"Buneary, you know what Charizard will say!"

"He won't say anything. And besides, it's so cute!"

I sigh deeply. She's got a point. It really does look cute. I search around for something to keep the small human child warm. -scoff- Why the shelter of course. Duh. I just have to tear some of it off. And away we go! With all my strength, I pushed the human child out of the shelter. "Oh, wait, my bag. Can't forget about that. Now, let us go--human child? Human child?" The human child squeals as it slid down the river, which had been frozen over. Buneary and I scream in a panic. And we quickly run after them. "Human child. Human child. Human child. Human child. STOP LAUGHING TINY HUMAN THIS IS NOT FUNNY," I shout to the little human. I have to run faster, and with this snow being so deep, I have to leap higher. Quickly, I jump on to the icy river, but I end up slipping on the ice. I quickly get back up and continue running. "HUMAN CHILD! COME BACK!" With my hind paws I push myself forward to get in front of the human child. One more push forward, and I slid in front of the human child to stop them. You're not going anywhere. Buneary quickly caught up and stares at me with eyes wide open. Why do I feel my hind paws dangling? I look behind me, and I see what looks to be a waterfall. Frozen. But it's still a waterfall. AND I AM ON THE EDGE!

Buneary (ADHD)

Buneary was the second Pokemon I met. She showed me every bush, and how they had a lot of twigs and sticks which annoyed Eevee quite a lot.

Buneary's POV

I have to get help! "Don't worry Mother Eevee! I will get Charizard for you!" "NO! DON'T GET CHARIZARD," Eevee yells loudly. Charizard is our best friend, because he is very loyal. And he is very helpful too. I hop quickly to Charizard's cave, where he is sleeping very quietly without a sound. Ooh, a twig...No, I have to focus. You see, Charizard can't make any noises. So no one knows what he is saying. Oh look! We're here! I lightly tap Charizard on the snout. Charizard slowly opens his eyes and blinks. He is either frustrated, or tired. Charizard's blows a puff a smoke through his nostrils.? "Mother Eevee...um...Mother Eevee is stuck on the edge of a frozen waterfall," I say quietly. Charizard's eyes open wide. And I squeak as Charizard picks me up, grasping me in his claws. Charizard quickly takes to the sky. We are going very fast! And it really wasn't too long before Charizard landed and dropped me. I fell right through the snow. And now I am cold. I dig my way back up, Charizard had already rescued Mother Eevee by the time I reached the surface. Oh wait, we can't lose the human child again! I hop over to Mother Eevee and Charizard. "Charizard! Look what me and Mother Eevee found!" Charizard looks in my direction, and he jumps back and his wings immediately flares in panic. His eyes are wide, and he has to say not a word for one to know what he wants to say. 'What. Is that. Creature?' The human child rolls, falling out of its egg. Aw! It's even trying to walk to Charizard! Charizard lifts his foot, trying to avoid being touched by the human child. I look at Eevee, suddenly remembering what she said earlier. "Mother Eevee, why did you not want me to get Charizard," I ask. "Nevermind what I said Buneary," says Mother Eevee, "Okay?" "Okay." The human child looks at Charizard and smiles. "I don't think Charizard likes it," Mother Eevee whispers. The human child drops onto Charizard and giggles, hugging Charizard's foot. "Charizard doesn't like this," I say to Mother Eevee. Mother Eevee sighs deeply. "That is what I just said Buneary." I lower my head. "Oh." Charizard panics again, flapping his wings so fast they look like they are fluttering. Charizard glares at the human child with wide eyes, and pointed at it. "It's a human child," said Mother Eevee, "You're fine Charizard." I watch Mother Eevee as she leaps onto Charizard's tail, climbs up his back, and onto his head. Mother Eevee sits and bends down so that she can look Charizard right in the eyes. "Relax," she says calmly, "Now be a good dragon Pokemon and say 'hello' to your new cousin Artemis."Charizard frowns and lowers his head...."Mother Eevee, what did you name the human child?" Mother Eevee palms her face. Then looks back at me. "Did you really forget THAT quickly?" I look at the ground guiltily. "Sorry," I murmur. Mother Eevee sighs, then pats me on the head. She then smiles and says, "Her name is Artemis. Did you get that?" "Yup," I say nodding, "Artemis." I look back at Charizard and Artemis. Charizard stares at Artemis in curiosity, as she plays with his tail fearlessly, visibly resisting the urge to flick her off. Charizard carefully picks her up with his claws, but before he set her down... "Charizard," Mother Eevee exclaims, "you're so brilliant!" Charizard's gaze turns towards Mother Eevee, and he looks at her with confusion. "I have been thinking for hours about how I could take Artemis home!" But it's only been a few minutes...I hop onto Charizard's back. "Will he take us for a ride home," I ask. "Only you two," she replied, "I mean, it shouldn't be so hard for Charizard to handle should it?" Charizard blows smoke through his nostrils, clearly showing that he is very frustrated with this task. But, he eventually nods, and he follows Mother Eevee back home. I watch Artemis all the way. She looks very comfortable being held by Charizard's claws. But the way Charizard looks at her, he looks at her quite concerned. "Is she ok," I ask Charizard. Charizard begins to look worried. Mother Eevee looks at the child. "She's probably tired," she says, trying to sound assuring. At home, Charizard carefully set Artemis down. And she must have been very tired because when we come home, she falls with a big thud, and messes up Shinx's progress.

Fact: One moment they're as calm as Master Yoda. A few seconds later they're bouncing off walls like Sonic the flippin Hedgehog (that makes us ADHDers tired)

Fact: For most ADHDers, they could drink a gallon of coffee. It will either make them tired, make them calm down, or it'll have no effect.

Fact: Unfortunate ADHDers, they can get distracted very easily. And they can also be very forgetful.

Fact: Don't ask me how or why, but people with ADHD tend to be quite messy.

##

Shinx (OCD)

Shinx was, as they would say, neat and tidy...but also very soft. And for that reason, everyone just loved to cuddle with him and ruffle up his fur. He, like me and Buneary, was adopted by Eevee. She said she had found him not too long before she found me.

Shinx's POV

"COME ON! I JUST FINISHED SORTING THOSE," I yell. The human child's eyes roll back, and they tremor and shake. Everyone, including the look on Charizard's face, are panicking. "Why did you bring that possessed human child into our home," I ask screaming. Eevee simply huddles under Charizard's wing and watches as the human child throws itself around on the ground. We wait for what seems like a long time before the human child finally stops flopping around. "Charizard, is she okay," Eevee whispers. Charizard shrugs. While still tremoring, Charizard gently touches the child with his claw, and it twitches. "Get it out," I growl, "please." Buneary then throws a kick at me and starts biting my ears. "OW! OW! WHAT DID I DO?" Buneary hops off, and I start to groom my fur. "She's not leaving, she's staying," Buneary says firmly. I give my fur one more lick then I look at Buneary. "Fine. But you keep her away from meeeyahhh...ew. Get this thing off my paw." "It's not hurting you," says Eevee. "It's drool is getting on my paw," I complain. Eevee scoffs. The human struggles to get up, but it keeps falling to the ground. Charizard then puts a claw underneath the child to keep her on balance. I just don't understand how Charizard could even cope with the child's drooling. I'd throw her off if I were him. Unfortunately no one knows how Charizard feels about anything since he can't roar or growl. I mean, it's quite a good thing I guess because he's really quiet...but at the same time no one ever knows what he wants. Not even other Charizards....speaking of Charizard, why is he staring at me with that awkward face? "No Charizard. I don't want cuddles. You'll mess up my fur," I growl. Charizard smiles and picks me up, grasping me in his claws. "Let me go," I roar. I start squirming, trying to release myself from Charizard's tight grasp. Charizard then gives me to the human child. And the human child hugs me tightly. I growl deeply. I am officially ruined. Charizard sets the human child down, and it still clings on to me. "CUDDLE PILE," Buneary shouts. "What?" Buneary quickly jumps onto me, wrapping her arms around me like I was a pillow. I look up at Eevee and Charizard. "Help." But Eevee simply stares in awe, while Charizard dips his head 'goodbye' and leaves. It was only a matter of seconds before I start to hear Buneary snoring. I look at the child, and it has fallen asleep. "You didn't name it did you," I ask Eevee. "Of course I did," she replies happily. Of course she did. "Ugh. What did you name it," I ask. "Artemis," is Eevee's simple answer.

That Evening...

I guess I fell asleep. Wait, where's Eevee? "Eevee?" I shove everyone off and I walk out, well I try to anyway. Snow has completely covered the entrance, and now it is freezing inside the den. Where's a fire type when you need one? I call Eevee one more time, but she is in a deep sleep. I guess I'll have to dig a way out myself. So it isn't just snow, it's a blizzard. Oh hi Charizard.... Wait, "CHARIZARD?" Charizard quickly sits up. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE," I ask, trying to shout above the wind. Charizard tap his claws together, then points at the snow. "And what about the snow?" Charizard starts drawing in the snow. And I try to translate them. "A hill? No, a cave. It got blocked by a bunch of rocks. Uhh...by the snow. Ugh, why can't you talk? You become sad? Scared? Worried? About what? Or who?" Charizard looks down with a guilty face. Oh please don't tell me. Please don't-- "YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT THE CHILD!?" Charizard nods slowly. "She's fine Charizard. She's asleep. And honestly, she doesn't need me to stay warm, she has Buneary!"

"Shi?"

Every part of me freezes. Tiny footsteps run up behind me, and the little nuisance falls onto my back. Unbelievable. "Charizard. Get this thing off of me." Instead, Charizard stares with his eyes wide in awe, while the child just keeps saying 'Shi'. "EEVEE!" Eevee ever so slowly walks out of the den, and yawns. "What is it Shinx," she asks. "The child won't get off," I growl, "and it keeps saying this weird word!" "It's trying to say your name, Shinx," says Eevee. Again...unbelievable.

One year later...

"Shinx!"

I sigh deeply. "What, Artemis?"

"Look at this rock I found!" A rock? Really? She comes to me over a rock? "Go show it to Buneary," I growl. "Okay," says Artemis happily. But before leaving, she comes up to my side and hugs me tight. I go back to digging out a path. These snow storms are starting to become more annoying than Artemis and Buneary combined. "SHIIINX," the little nuisance calls, yet again. "WHAAT," I call back. "There's a bright light," Buneary shouts. A bright light? "Where," I ask. Artemis comes running back, almost panicking. "Where's Buneary," I ask. Artemis hugs me and starts crying. "She was taken away!" "Who was taken away," asks Eevee in a panic. "Buneary," I reply. Charizard lands in front of us and starts throwing his hands everywhere. "What is it, Charizard," I ask. "Did you find Buneary," Eevee asks. Charizard pauses, then nods. "Well what are you waiting for," I yell, "show us where she is!" Charizard's eyes narrow, and he begins walking into the forest. "It's a human..." says Eevee. The human immediately looks in our direction. Maybe if we stay perfectly still..."More Pokemon," they exclaim.?Oh moons. "Haha! It must be my lucky day! First A Buneary, and now a Shinx, an Eevee, a Charizard, and...and...A child?" Charizard quickly grasps us all into his claws. And holds us against his chest. His teeth are bared. "Eevee, what are those things in their bag," asks Artemis. "They're Pokeballs," says Eevee, "they must be a Pokemon trainer."

Facts that got off the web:

OCD is a disorder in which people have recurring, unwanted thoughts, ideas or obsessions. To get rid of the thoughts, they feel driven to do something repetitively.

Somewhat obvious fact that I just learned:

People with OCD can in fact get along with someone with ADHD.

Artemis (Seizures)

I wiggle myself out of Charizard's grasp, then run to the bag of pokeballs. Buneary has to be in one of these. I just have to find out which one. "HEY," the trainer shouts, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" "WHERE'S BUNEARY," I ask, panicking. I begin hyperventilating, throwing every pokeball out of the bag, and at the ground. None of them have Buneary. "Hey kid, chill," said the trainer. "Not til I find Buneary!" My hands start shaking uncontrollably and I start to get dizzy. "Hey, are you okay, kid," ask the trainer. Shinx runs in front of me, his eyes are wide with concern. "YOU HAVE TO FIGHT IT ARTEMIS," he roars, "FIGHT IT!" I can't... I can't....I drop to the ground and curl into a ball, closing my eyes tightly. That usually works.

Did it work? Where am I? What happened? Why am I in this strange place? There are voices around me. None of them I could recognize. I open my eyes, and the world slowly fades from blurry to clear. My eyes look around. There was no one around. I have to find someone. I have to find Eevee. I sit up and rub my head. Ugh...oww...my head hurts. What did I fall on? I take a small step, but I forget every time. When I have these pass outs, I loose all my strength. So, you could probably guess what happened to me then. Yeah. I fell. And now my head hurts even more. The door slowly opens, and a boy, looking much older than me, comes through with a blank look on his face. "Are you okay," asks the boy. There is no tone to his voice. As much as I want to respond, I can't. I can barely mutter any words. All that comes out of my mouth is a bunch of drool. "The nurses said you had a seizure," says the boy. A seizure? So, I'm not being possessed? "My name is Timothy. Me and my sister brought you here." "Ee...Eee..." If you wanna talk to me about how easy it is to say 'Eevee', let me remind you that with these 'seizures' comes paralysis. And it takes time to wear off. So, yeah, don't tell me it's easy. A girl, who seems to be the same age as Timothy, then comes through the door. She is holding a huge bag. I wonder what's inside. "Hey Iris," says Timothy. "Hi Timmy," says Iris, almost sounding happy, "Is she okay?" "Ye-es, but I don't think she can stand up right now," says Timothy hesitantly. "Well that's a shame. I bought some really good clothes for her to try on. I even brought her Eevee along to help me pick them out!"

I am finally able to stand on my own two feet after a while. Iris led me to a room where I can put on the clothes that she and Eevee had picked out. They had picked out some blue jeans, a lavender-colored long sleeve, some boots, and a flower bracelet. She also gave me a leather bag with the pokeballs that held Eevee, Charizard, Shinx, and Buneary. There are also some empty pokeballs. I take one of the full ones and press the button. Eevee! I take out another one. It's empty. I stare at it curiously. "Really, Iris," Timothy asks Iris, actually sounding annoyed, "She's not catching Pokemon with us!" "She's not?" "N-no!" There they go arguing again. You should have seen their last argument. It was horrible. "We're taking her home and that's it," says Timothy angrily. "Umm...I don't know where my home is," I say quietly. Iris and Timothy both looked at me. "Do you know who your parents are," asks Timothy. And there he goes back to his monotone voice. I shake my head. "I don't even remember them. Eevee said I was very little." Timothy looks more annoyed than he already was. Iris looks as curious as a Litten. "You were Raised by Pokemon," she asks, squealing. "So maybe we can go find them," says Timothy. Eevee begins shaking her head quickly. "What's wrong, Eevee," I ask, "Eevee?" "Maybe she's just too scared to travel...," says Iris. I look at Eevee who was nearly having a heart attack. "She'll be okay."

I'd like to say that what Artemis experienced is a real thing. However some people may have had it worse. Some people lose control of their bladder, and well, yeah. And as for some, although it's a rare case, they die. I had epilepsy seizures and I lost two years worth of memory because of one I had in eighth grade. Epilepsy seizures are not a joke people. Stop laughing at it.

Timothy (Bipolar Disorder)

Timothy was an emotional roller coaster. One moment he's happy, and the next he's emotionless or crying on the ground. I don't get it. Especially after that argument he had with his sister, he just randomly started smiling....and being happy. Not that it's a bad thing, but to become happy that quickly after arguing?

?

(It's A little hard to use Timothy's POV so Imma use Iris' instead.)

Iris' POV

We leave the hospital that afternoon. Artemis holds on to her Eevee tightly, but her not being strong enough, the Eevee starts slipping through her arms. "Let me hold her," Timothy says, offering to help. Artemis looks at Timothy for a moment. Her hands are underneath the Eevee's arms. Artemis sighs deeply. "Okay." Artemis sets down the Eevee, and it panics as he picks it up. "It's okay, Eevee," Timothy says smiling as he pets the Eevee's head. "Timothy, where are we going," asks Artemis. "We're going to Kanto," I say excitedly. Timothy giggles as Eevee climbs onto his shoulder and sits. Her eyes widen as if she had never seen this part of Sinnoh before. "How long until we get there," Artemis asks. (Correct me if I'm wrong) "Not too long," I reply. Questions upon questions. She hasn't stopped asking questions since we left. "Iris, can we take a break," asks Artemis. "Alright, fine," I say, almost paranoid. Artemis and Timmy sit on the ground, talking. Artemis then takes out the Pokéballs and stares curiously. "How do I get Shinx out of this thing," she asks. "It's simple, just press this white button," says Timothy as he points to a white button in the middle of the Pokéball. Timothy presses the white button, and Artemis gasps excitedly as a Shinx appears in front of her. "Shinx," she exclaims happily. Artemis picks up the Shinx and holds it tightly in her arms. Timothy sighs then lays on the ground. "Here we go again," I murmur. I look down at Timothy. So does Artemis. "Why are you sad, Timothy," asks Artemis. "I don't know," says Timothy in a numb voice. "You were happy a moment ago," said Artemis. "I know," Timothy says in a numb voice. I sigh deeply. "Timmy, you need to get over losing our baby sister. You know we checked that place many times and she wasn't there." Timothy stares blankly at the sky. "I'm not thinking about our baby sister," says Timothy, still sounding numb. Eevee, Shinx and Artemis tilt their heads in confusion. "Then what are you pouting over," I ask. Timothy quickly stands up. "I'm not pouting over anything," he yells angrily. I back up. "Okay," I say calmly. He's been like this for a long time. But I wonder sometimes...how long? How long has he been like this? Has this started since we lost Isabell? Or has he been like this all his life? Timothy drops to his knees and starts crying. Eevee cautiously walks over to Timothy, then puts a paw on his knee. "Eevoi?" Timothy slowly looks up, seeing Eevee in front of him. She is curious, but she also seems concerned. Timothy picks up Eevee and holds her tightly against his chest. Perhaps too tightly...Eevee squirms, trying to get Timothy to release her. But instead, he smiles and nuzzles her on the head. I'm going to be sad when Artemis is finally home. Her Eevee friend really seems to have a comforting effect on others. "What was your sister's name," asks Artemis. "It was Isabell," I reply, "we left camp for a while so we could secretly talk about how to get rid of our mom. And possibly grow up to do something totally different than what she does." Eevee looks at me curiously. "What happened then," Artemis asks. "We came back a few hours later, and the campsite and everything was destroyed," says Timothy, "our mom was killed. And our sister was kidnapped." Artemis looks at the ground, being sad, but then she quickly lit up. "Maybe we can try to find her too," said Artemis. "But what if we find your parents before we find our sister," I asked. "I dunno," said Artemis, shrugging, "I really hope we don't though. I want to stay with you guys and see other Pokémon." "You can still see other Pokémon," said Timothy finally, sounding calm, "especially if they live in another region." Timothy starts hyperventilating again. Please don't. Timothy please don't. WHY ARE YOU UPSET? I began to think of something cheerful. "Uh, um...Ooh! Look at the clouds," I exclaimed, pointing at the sky, "They're so...fluffy. Yeah. Look how fluffy they are." I sighed. Even Eevee seemed like she was having enough. This is going to take a while.

Fact: bipolar disorder is in fact practically an emotional roller coaster.

Fact: bipolar disorder is a cause of depression and for some suicide...unfortunately. So if they start getting in their depressive state, please watch them.

Fact: bipolar disorder can make it seem like one is seeking attention, but it's really best you don't make assumptions.

Rockruff (Deafness)

Rockruff is an unusual pokemon.... Despite being deaf, he's somehow able to predict my seizures (or as Shinx would say: predict when I was about to be possessed)

(I'ma probably switch POVs in this one)?

Artemis' POV?

It takes a while for Timothy to finally get himself together. Timothy continues to carry Eevee on the way to Kanto. I'm surprised how patient she is with-

Did it happen again? I open my eyes and Shinx is sitting in front of me, glaring. Sorry Shinx. I take a small nap to regain some of my energy. At this rate, I'm pretty sure we're never going to get to Kanto. I wake up a few minutes later to Timothy going crazy again. -sigh- "THIS DAY IS SO AMAZING," he shouts.

Meanwhile in Kanto...

Rockruff's POV

GRRRR!! You may have won again, car. BUT I'LL BEAT YOU NEXT TIME! Crossing a road in Kanto is very hard. Especially when you can't hear anything. I met a Stunpike once and they told me that I should use vibrations. But I don't know what vibrations are...Great. It's raining. I limp back home to my box. I've been hit by many cars on these streets. Yet I'm surprised I'm still alive. Actually, if I'm being honest, I like the rain. It feels good against my fur. WOOAH! "Lemme go! Lemme go! LEMME GO! HALP!" I look at what seems to be a Lucario staring right back at me. And oh boy does he look angry.

Lucorio's POV

"HEY, PUT THE KID DOWN" I said, getting closer. "Easy there," said the human. Easy? I scoffed at this, walking over giving a low growl. The human reached their hand out slowly. I know this trick. And I won't fall for it again. I charged up an aura sphere about to blast the human but stopped knowing it'd hit Rockruff. The human carefully set Rockruff down, and slowly stepped away. I growled at the human before rushing over and holding the Rockruff gently checking for any fatal injuries. "Hey kid you okay," I asked. The Rockruff simply tilted their head in confusion. Maybe I need to say it more simply... "Did they hurt you at all?" I asked, trying to be as simple as possible.

Rockruff's POV

What's he saying? "I dun..no what." The Lucario looked around. I'm not ignorant. I promise. I just...can't hear. The Lucario moved his mouth. The look on his face clearly showed that he was getting paranoid. They then looked around before drawing in the dirt in front of him 'are you okay?' it read. I looked up at him and nodded. I then rolled out of Lucario's arms and onto the ground. I then erased what Lucario had written and wrote a message myself. 'Thank you.' Lucario smiled softly despite moments before looking like he was about to murder several people for looking at him wrong. I continued writing on the ground and then tapped at Lucario.

Lucario's POV

Huh? I looked down at the dirt to see another message saying 'Can you take me home'. 'Where ya live kid?' I wrote so I could take him home. Rockruff pointed his nose somewhere across the street, then looked back up at me. I nodded then picked Rockruff up and quickly jumped across the street between cars and set rockruff down once across but winced looking at the bandage on my leg.

Rockruff's POV

He's hurt just like me! I pawed at the bandage on Lucario's leg, and looked up at him with concern. 'I'm fine, focus on your own injuries okay' Lucario wrote before turning and walking to a nicer looking human by the opening. Once Lucario had reached the human Lucario turned and gave a nice smirk. Clearly, this human saw what Lucario tried doing to the one human that picked me up. They were very scared. Then I saw Lucario and the human laughing and high fiving as if they were friends.

Lucario's POV

"You really showed them Lucario," said Brooke patting me on the head. "Yeah, anything to help a wild," I said despite knowing my trainer couldn't understand me. Brooke was the only human I ever trusted. He acted weird sometimes. But he was still a good friend. I then went to walk with Brooke home, but something didn't feel right. So I nudged Brooke and pointed to Rockruff, who was stepping onto the street...again...why? "WHAT ARE YOU DOING," I asked, yelling, before running over stopping rockruff, picking Rockruff up and walking to Brooke.

Brooke's POV

"What happened to him," I asked, noticing the injuries on Rockruff's legs. "Lucar," Lucario responded, seeming concerned. "See Lucario," I said, pointing at the injuries, "He's very injured. Use healing pulse." Lucario glared at me showing he didn't know that move. "So I will take him to the pokemon healing-," I yelled. Lucario quickly covered my mouth while glaring at me. "Sorry," I whispered.

To be continued... :D

Mixed Facts for today:

-We've all heard that dogs have powerful senses. But did you know that dogs have the amazing ability to sense one's emotions and see oncoming seizures, heart attacks, and other medical conditions that would cause one to pass out/fall?

-Sign language is how deaf people communicate. Kind of an obvious fact. I know.

-Not all seizures come with a warning. Some seizures come unexpectedly.

Lucario (Intermittent explosive disorder)

(I'ma switch POVs on this one too)

A few moments ago...

Artemis' POV

"Are we there yet," I asked. "No," said Iris. It really felt like hours. I let Buneary out, And we pointed out new things along with Shinx. "Look," exclaimed Buneary, "up ahead! Look at all the buildings!" "That's Kanto," said Iris. "Kanto looks very big," I said, being concerned. "It also looks kinda scary...," Shinx said quietly. All watched as a Lucario started to attack another person. But then it stopped. "HEY," Timothy yelled, "IT'S GOING TO GET THAT ROCKRUFF!" Iris ran forward. "Iris slow down," Timothy yelled. Iris tripped, rolling down the hill. "I'M OKAY," she shouted. Everyone sped walked down the hill. And we then saw what seemed to be the Lucario trying to hurt the Rockruff. Then the Lucario looked around as if he knew he was being watched.

Eevee's POV

We all panicked and jumped back. Except for Buneary who was continuing to stare at the buildings. "Buneary," I called loudly, "BUNEARY!" Buneary then jerks her head and looks at me. "Huh?" "Why are you staring at the buildings," I asked, annoyed, "They're just buildings!" Buneary does this a lot. She stares off into the distance and doesn't hear a word I say. "It's kidnapping the Rockruff," Timothy exclaimed, "we have to help it!" "Excuse me, 'we'," asked Iris. "Yes," said Timothy, "Honestly, do you really think I'm going to do it by myself?"

Back in Kanto

Brooke's POV

"Come on Lucario," I said, motioning with my hand for Lucario to follow. Lucario picked rockruff up gently and followed me closely. But then suddenly... "STOP RIGHT THERE," a person yelled. I look behind me and there was a person trying to catch up to me. I began to panic. The streets were already loud enough as it was. Lucario put rockruff in my arms and got into an aggressive/defensive stance between me and the other person. Rockruff is soft. Like lucario. "You need to get away from that Lucario," said another person, "it's dangerous." I looked at Lucario. He simply shrugged, not understanding the situation. "Umm, Lucario is my friend," I said. Shortly after I said that, Lucario began to glow brightly, signaling he was going mega again without a keystone. Nononononono NO! I wrapped my jacket around Lucario, which often calms him down and the glow stopped and Lucario was normal but still glaring with daggers at the other people. "What do you mean 'friend'," asked the person. "Well, well," I began hesitating, "he is my friend." Lucario then took rockruff again and showed the people rockruff was hurt and they were trying to get it healed.

Lucario's POV

"What happened to him," a little girl in their group asked. "I don't know," said Brooke. "My guess is that he got hit by a few cars and somehow survived," I said. "How did he get hit by a few cars," the little girl asked. Wait, she can understand me? "Okay one, Rockruff is deaf and two, HOW THE HRCK CAN YOU UNDERSTAND ME!?" I exclaimed. "Well, I was raised by pokemon," said the little girl. I blinked several times before looking at rockruff and holding it closer. "Well raised by pokemon or not you ain't touchin' rocky," I said, giving rockruff a nickname. "Rocky," the girl asked, giggling, "that sounds funny." "Shut up, that's all I could think of," I said, holding a glowing paw out facing the girl. "They're going to fall," Rockruff said, trying to speak, "THEY'RE GOING TO FALL!" I tilted my head at this confused lowering my no longer glowing paw. Rockruff barked, then rolled out of my arms again. But then suddenly, the little girl's eyes started rolling back and she started shaking. IS SHE POSSESSED? "Oh no not again," complained one of the persons. I quickly stepped over catching her as she fell, making sure she didn't hit her head, and my paw began glowing again as I placed it on her forehead. Please heal please heal please heal please heal. I took a deep breath, nervous, knowing healing pulse was hard to learn but I did my best by using force palm fused with a weak aura sphere. Rockruff looked up at me. With an 'I told you so' look on his face. What? "It's a medical condition. Healing won't work," one of the people said. I then blinked, seeming to recognize it and I covered whatever her name was's eyes to block any possible sources before picking her up walking to the person. A few minutes later, the seizure started to calm down. I looked at her curiously, and Rockruff started licking her hand. "She'll be okay," Brooke then said, "I think." I nodded, gently setting her down and looked at Brooke curiously before I grabbed a stick walking to some dirt writing something. Rockruff limped over to the dirt as well trying to see what I was writing, but I kept blocking him. It's not a message for you silly, now go on. I then signed the group over pointing to the message 'what is your name? And call me luke i prefer that name' it read. Rockruff peaked over me, reading the message. "Luke," Rockruff said curiously. I smirked and nodded. "My name's Timothy," one of the persons said, "And that's my annoying sister, Iris, and the little one is Artemis." "Nice to meet you," Brooke said in a sarcastic-sounding voice, "I'm Brooke." I walked over to Timothy, holding a paw out as if to shake. Cautiously, Timothy held out his hand. Why is he so scared of me? I can't be that scary, can I?. "Uh, nice to meet you too...Luke," Timothy said nervously. I smiled, shaking his hand happily before turning to Brooke and blushing but only a small bit. "Um...I have to go," Brooke murmurs. "Why," Iris asked. "Well, we have to take this Rockruff to the medical place," Brooke said. "We'll come with you," said Iris, "and besides, maybe we can also get Artemis checked up on while we're there." I gave a cold glare as if to say he still doesn't trust us. While still glaring, I walked over to Brooke and hugged up against her. Brooke hugged me back. I smiled then looked at rockruff again before looking at its ears and injuries.

More Mixed Facts for today:

-Intermittent explosive disorder (IED) is usually caused by some form of ptsd or feelings of not being good enough for anybody, and in some semi-rare incidences it could be both.

-Something that many people with Autism and ADHD have is hyperfocus. Basically, it's when one focuses strictly on one thing.

-You should not do what Lucario did when Artemis had a seizure. Always give them space, and never hold them (unless they're on the concrete and you're trying to prevent them from further harming themselves)

Brooke (Autism)

Brooke was a weird person. Especially when he was in public places or on the streets. He'd play with just about everything. And he made a lot of noises.

(still switching povs...)

Brooke's POV

We reached the pokemon hospital in very little time. I don't know why they would go to a pokemon hospital to get a human person checked out. I looked at Luke. He was very happy, which was usually a rare occasion. I still remember meeting Lucario. I was very young.

I sit down at the table and watch Mom. She is making waffles. And I love them. Especially when she puts chocolate chips in them. I rock back and forth in my chair excitedly, and I flap my arms. I am too impatient to wait for the delicious waffles that mom is really good at making. Mom sets a plate of waffles down in front of me. It's filled with chocolate chips and covered in gooey syrup. I squeal happily, and I quickly eat them. When I finish, I go back to my room. I wonder what my friend on minecraft has been doing. My dad says my room looks like Outer Space. As you can see, I really like space. I also like minecraft. My walls are painted in a dark blue and covered in glow in the dark planets & stars. Now my drawers, they almost look like the chests in minecraft. My carpet is the only thing not Minecraft or space. I like it being soft. "Hey Brooke, you wanna help me and Talonflame in the shop today," dad asks. The shop? I nodded. But first I need to grab some things. I grabbed my bag, and I packed a few fidgets. I also packed my laptop so that I can play Minecraft. I like going with dad to his shop. There are a lot of interesting things there. Sometimes people even bring in new things. We got to dad's shop and there were lots of cars waiting. There was also a person hurting a Lucario. Why? The lucario, in tears, ran off from the person down an alleyway. I want to help him. I opened the car door and immediately there were thousands of sounds all at once. It was so loud. It was too loud. I have to go inside. My dad opened the door to the shop and I ran inside, and hid behind the desk, where I covered my ears tightly and began rocking myself. Since my ears were covered I couldn't hear all the commotion outside. But I could see it...the lucario was in front of the window now with the human being strangled up against a wall, his paws glowing brightly. I'm terrified. Dad? Are you seeing this? Other people eventually surrounded the lucario strangling the person, and tried to strangle him. Then lucario glew a bright light and once it was done lucario had gone mega, without a keystone and looked more furious than before, before throwing the person he was strangling to the side breaking their arm and scaring everyone else as he turned to face them. I began hyperventilating, and rocking myself more quickly. Then, Lucario turned and saw me... he looked at me, and I don't like being looked at, locking eyes for several seconds before Lucario walked into the building over to me, and simply patted my head smiling, reverting to normal. I wanted to scream for help. But I couldn't speak. I can't speak. I open my bag and take out my laptop and headphones, but before I do, my dad taps me on the shoulder, making me jump. "Look at this Brooke," he says with a smile. It's round. I slowly stood up, then took the thing from my dad's hands. "It looks like a planet," I say. "Yes it does," he says, "and it spins too." My dad takes his hand and spins the planet model. I smiled. This will be perfect for my collection. "Can I keep it," I ask. "Of course you can," my dad chuckles. I leaned against the corner, happily spinning the little planet model. Then I looked at lucario. He tilted his head before making an aura sphere and spinning it similar to the planet model. It looks...cool...I guess. Then Lucario went outside ripping a pokeball off the injured person's belt loop and threw it far off. He is very angry.

Lucario's POV

"That stupid human always pushed me around," I muttered, taking off, going to a place where hopefully I can be left alone. I sat down looking at my scarred paws giving a slight sigh, that girl seemed nice unlike my old trainer... I sat there pondering what to do next for a few minutes. The day went by quickly. And I still didn't know what to do. Then I hear a young voice. "Hey dad, it's an abandoned building. Can I look inside?" Oh no. I try to find a hiding place quickly. I looked around but couldn't find one so I ran in the opposite direction of the voice. "Let me come with you," said another voice, but it was older. I froze where I was, looking over my shoulder confused. I then hear footsteps running behind me. I turned to face whoever it was getting a force palm ready. No one was there. Am I hearing things? Please don't tell me I'm going insane. Suddenly I start hearing somewhat loud noises. I cover my ears to drown out the loud sounds before looking around. I look in one of the rooms, where I saw the little boy from earlier, covering his ears, and whimpering.

Brooke's POV

The loud sound goes away, but the thing that was being loud was also very scary. I feel something furry touch me on my shoulder and I panic. I look to the side of me, and there was a Lucario. No...the Lucario that I saw earlier while I was at dad's shop. He doesn't seem so mean now. The Lucario knelt down, looking at me with a concerned look on his face. "Lucar?"

Lucario's POV

"Hey you okay kid?" I asked, concerned being careful not to scare them more. The little boy looked at me for a while, then began petting me on the head. "Furry," they muttered. I smiled and nodded before picking the kid up, holding them close as I walked out of the building with them. The kid held on tight, smiling with content. Once outside i set the kid down "look kid don't come here again okay it's dangerous," I said. The older human eventually came out of the building as well. "I see you've found a friend, Brooke," says the adult. Brooke nods, then hugs me tightly. Ack! Maybe...too...tight. Help. I tap Brooke's back as a way of saying loosen up. Brooke lets go. "Can I take him home," Brooke asked. "You know what mom is going to say," the older person says. "I know, I know. I'll have to take care of him," Brooke says, rolling his eyes, "and I will." "Take care of me," I ask curiously. "Come on Lucario," says Brooke, "let's go home!"

Brooke's POV

I'll never forget that day. He looked so funny when I told him to come home with me. "Hey, we're here," says Timothy. We are? I looked up in front of me, and there was the pokemon health center. I like this place. It is quiet. "Welcome," said Nurse Joy, "How can I help you today?" Lucario walked up to the desk, then placed the injured Rockruff in front of her. "Oh dear. Well that's certainly a problem," she said. Well obviously it is. Otherwise I wouldn't have brought him here. Lucario nodded, taking a piece of blank paper off the desk and a pencil writing 'please hurry and help him,' it read. "Will do," said Nurse Joy as she carefully picked up Rockruff and took him to the back. I held my hands against my chest. I am scared. Iris puts a hand on my shoulder and I jerk away, squealing. Lucario immediately starts growling. But then suddenly, the lights start flickering. Nononononono. I hugged Lucario tightly. I'm terrified now. All of us then screamed and panicked as the lights turned off. Completely.

Fact: People with Autism may not show much Emotion, but that doesn't mean they don't care or have feelings. I know because I see it in my brother everyday. People with Autism are mistaken for not caring because they don't do anything to help someone who is sad. But in reality, most of the time they're trying to comprehend what's going on, and what they should do to help.

Fact: Just because one is Autistic doesn't mean they're smarter than everyone else. Some Autistic peeps need help doing everyday tasks and for some they have trouble speaking.

Fact: People with Autism are not really a people person. Hence why they're often sitting away from the crowd.

Fact: Everyone thinks that there is a cure for Autism but there really isn't. However there are medications to help.

Fact: Like ADHD, Autism is not caused by vaccines. It is something that one is born with.

Fact: As for those of you who don't know, stimming is repetitive sounds and/or movements that one with a neurodivergent mind does to cope with emotions. Examples may be swaying or saying "woah".

Zeraora (Blindness)

(Switching POVs again :D)

Rockruff's POV

Huh? What's that? There was a pokeball in a room next to me and the nurse that had the word 'blind' written on it and a picture of a lightning bolt. Huh. I wonder. There was lightning that was starting to surround the pokeball. Something is getting out. Then a large thunderbolt hit the pokeball knocking me and the nurse back from the force and once the light from the bolt was gone, it revealed a pokemon neither of us had ever seen before. The pokemon was growling loudly and walked to the entrance but ran into the door frame. "Ow..." he growled loudly. My ears perked and my eyes were wide. Jeez. Lemme just say if I heard that, "you are just loud," I mutter. The nurse stood up, still holding me in her hands and walked to the door. You're not going to do what I think you're going to do...are you? The pokemon felt around before his ears perked a bit. "I hear you little one," he growled, turning around, continuing to be loud. The nurse then placed a hand on the pokemon's head. He roared, slapping her hand away and grabbing it tightly. "Wha's your problem," I ask loudly. "That's none of your business," he shouted. -ahem- "ARE. YOU. SAD," I asked, continuing to yell. The pokemon glared, twitching his eye, before letting go of the nurse and feeling around the door. "DO YA NEED HELP," I asked. "QUIT YELLIN," the pokemon shouted, sending a bolt of electricity out, missing me entirely. "WELL YOU STOP YELLIN FIRST," I shouted back.

Iris' POV

We were all confused as to why there was a constant back and forth barking and roaring. "What do ya think is goin on back there," I ask. Brooke simply shrugged. "I don't know." The lights flickered back on. "Well there's the lights," said Timothy. We hear another loud roar echoing through the halls. Lucario's eyes widened. Then a yellow and blue pokemon walked out of the room. They had a pure white eye color and was seemingly looking around. "Where's Nurse Joy and Rockruff," I ask, whispering to Timothy. "Zer?" the pokemon said facing my direction now. Ehhh... "Rock rock rock rock." Rockruff was running back through the hall. And his leg still wasn't healed. For an injured pokemon, he can surely run pretty fast. "ROCKRUFF! RUFF RUFF RUFF," Rockruff barked. The pokemon quickly jerked around. "ZERAORA ZER," the pokemon roared. Lucario looked at Brooke with a confused face. "Lucar?" Brooke simply shrugged. The Zeraora eventually grunted holding its head as if it had a headache and shut up.

Zeraora's POV

"What is going on, how long was i even in there," i said holding my head from the pain and the fact i couldn't see. "In where," asked the same voice that kept annoying me. "The pokeball" I growled "who even are you." "Rockruff," Rockruff barked, "And you?" I was silent for a few minutes trying to remember before I responded "Zeraora. Y'know... you seem pretty nice when you don't shout," I said with a smirk. "What did you say," Rockruff asked, tilting his head. I twitched my eye. "He's deaf. He can't hear," said another voice. "Then how was he conversing with me earlier," I asked, irritated. "You were yelling," says another voice. "Okay who is talking? I can't see you..." I asked. "I'm Lucario," said the voice, "And if you hurt Rockruff I will personally beat your-" "Relax Lucario," said another voice. But the voice sounded so sweet. Unlike the others. "Don't tell me what to do, Eevee," growled Lucario. I sighed then went to walk out but I ran straight into what felt like a wall and I felt my body hit the floor from the force of the impact. I then heard a young voice laugh. "Hey, quit laughing! It's rude to laugh at a blind pokemon y'know!" I growled, my fur sparking. "It is rude, Buneary," said Eevee. I scoff blushing slightly in embarrassment and get up feeling around.

Eevee's POV

I walked up to the Zeraora and place my paw on his drooping arm. The Zeraora looked around in my general direction but not at me directly, "Who's touching me," he growled loudly. "Me. Eevee. Now keep your hand on my fur and I can guide you out here." The zeraora glared but then grumbled as he put his paw on my head letting me lead him. "There you go," I said. Zeraora glared a bit but didn't say a thing until we got to the door where he seemed upset now and gave a sigh. "Are you okay," asked Artemis. "It's nothing... just... nevermind..." he said, feeling his way outside. Lucario quickly blocked the door. "NO," he shouted. "Get out of my way," Zeraora growled. "I'm sorry. I can't do that," said Lucario. "I said out of my way!" Zeraora growled, putting his paw on Lucario's stomach, his fur now sparking even more than before. Suddenly Lucario was pushed back by a massive jolt of electricity letting Zeraora past him. Zerora looked around. There were so many sounds. "Ugh, now I know what it's like to be hit...I guess," said Lucario.

Zeraora's POV

It was so loud out here compared to inside the building but I pressed on, feeling for the outside wall of the building using it to guide me through the city but before I knew it I got lost I had no idea where I was. "I really should've listened to him but it's too late now," I said with a sigh. I felt around to get a feel for where I was and realized I was in an alleyway and sighed sitting in a corner. Suddenly, I feel something slimy touch my fur. I just buried my face in my arms growling ready to electrocute whatever it was, if I could aim. When I felt it again I grabbed whatever it was sending about 20 volts of electricity through my paw to whatever it was. And now it's touching my leg. "Grr leave me alone," I shouted, sending about 50 volts all around me now. "Look Pikachu," says a voice, "It's another Zeraora!" I looked around getting ready to send more electricity out but I waited to see what, whoever it was, would do. "Who are you," I growled loudly. "I'm Pikachu," one of them said, "And this is my friend Ash." I glared at where I assumed the voice was coming from "Why are you here," I growled. "Why am I here," asked Pikachu, "more like why are YOU here?." "My reason is none of your business. Now answer my question," I growled louder, my fur visibly sparking more, I waited for a response as I tried to walk closer feeling my way over. "Um..." Pikachu seemed hesitant to answer for a moment. "If I remember correctly, Ash and I are going to a gym." "Oh really, and I suppose the human is going to try and catch me," I ask irritably. "I wouldn't think-" "Come on Pikachu! We gotta go!" I glare curiously and I follow them, quickly following the sound of their footsteps not sure of how hidden he was. "Zeraora," Eevee calls. I jerk around. "What," I growl. I could hear the footsteps fade as the trainer got further away. "Ya know there's really no use in you going to a gym if you can't see," said Lucario. "LUCARIO! MIND YOUR MANNERS," Eevee growled loudly. "Yeah and last I heard, a Lucario couldn't control himself in a gym battle, they go mega then lose all mental stability," I teased before running after the footsteps of the trainer again.

Lucario's POV

"Grrr... COME BACK HERE YOU PUNK," I shouted. The Zeraora was of course much faster than me but ended up running into the glass doors of the gym falling flat on his back "owww" he groaned. I stood tall over Zeraora. "Well, I think we both know who won this round," I said in a teasing voice. "Yeah yeah yeah. -scoff- whatever," growled Zeraora. He got back up feeling the door before trying to open it. "Need my help," I asked. "No," growled Zeraora, "Now go and away." Zeraora felt around on the door, trying to find the handles. I covered my mouth, trying not to laugh. "I can hear you ya know," growled Zeraora, "Now are you gonna stand there laughing, or are you gonna get over here and help me?" "Oh, but I thought you didn't need help," I said in a teasing tone. Zeraora gave a glare before kicking the door open, irritated. "Ok, I guess that's one way to open a door," I said, "but you're not going in there without me!" "Yes I am," said Zeraora. "Not you're not," I growled, "I need to see who I was replaced with." "You don't need to see anything" Zeroara growled. Once he heard announcements say that the challenger was one pokemon short of participation requirements Zeraora ran after the sound of the voice and stood next to the Pikachu and trainer with a sigh. "GOOD LUUUUCK," I said, yet again teasing Zeraora. They glared then shortly later the match started once it was Zeraora's turn he did a lot better than I thought dodging nearly everything and using counters.

Zeraora's POV

I don't know what kind of pokemon this is. But I do know that this pokemon is shaking the ground. That gives me the advantage. With the constant pounding, I'm pretty sure I can tell where he is. "Alright," exclaimed Ash, "Zeraora, use Thunder Punch!" "I don't know that move," I shout losing focus now, I get hit into a wall by the opponent but I recover quickly "Hey I wasn't ready yet *bleep*hole," I said to the other pokemon. "Let's at least have an honorable fight," I said, getting into a stance. "Thunder Punch," said Lucario, "it's when your paw has a ball of lightning on it. And then you slam it down on the opponent." I growled and shot electricity at Lucario and judging by the fearful yelp, I assume I nearly hit him. I then got on track with the fight breathing and jumped onto my opponent and struck the opponent with around 500 volts. "Down in one hit," exclaimed Lucario. "You just don't know when to shut up, do you," I asked, growling. "Probably not," Lucario teased. The pokemon must have been weak for me to be able to knock him out in one hit.

Lucario's POV

The gym trainer then takes out another pokemon. It's an Umbreon. But they were trembling and shaking in fear. The others entered and we watched. Something was wrong. Zeraora began to charge up an attack. "ZERAORA WAIT!"

Umbreon (Anxiety)

Umbreon's POV

The Zeraora paused, "What is it now!" he growled. "You said you wanted a fair fight," The Lucario yells. The Zeraora grumbled then nodded. What is he going to do now? My trainer marches up to the Zeraora. I want to go back inside my pokeball. He is grumbling, but then his mood quickly changes when he gets close to the Zeraora. He puts his hands on the sides of the Zeraora's head and smiles. "Zeraora! It's been so long! How are you my good friend?" Phew.

Zeraora's POV

Hold up, I recognize that voice. "Ren," I exclaimed, "It's so good to hear your voice again!" "Welcome home," he says, giving me a hug. I smile happily but then drop my head a bit with a sigh. "What's the matter Zeraora," Ren asks. "It's nothing...let's just finish this fight," I said standing more straight now, my fur sparking a bit. "Alright, alright," Ren laughed, "You will get your fight. But let me put up Umbreon here first."

Umbreon's POV

Oh no! I knew this would happen. "I'm sorry! Just let me have another chance!" My trainer pats me on the head. Then the Zeraora walks over tapping my trainer's shoulder. "What is it Zeraora," he asks. Zeraora smirks. "let umbreon fight i'll go easy" zeraora says giving me a slight smile. I stare at Zeraora with wide eyes. "Okay," said Zeraora, "what if I stayed still and did nothing? Sure it would aggravate my team. But at least you don't have to worry about anything. Here's the plan okay? I'm tougher than you think. So just hit me with all you got, and I'll pretend that you beat me. Ok?" "O-o-ok," I said, shivering. Zeraora gave a small laugh then pat my head walking back to his side of the field running into several pillars on the way. This...actually made me laugh. Kinda. "I CAN HEAR YOU," Zeraora shouts from the other side. He sits down in the center of his side, eyes closed as if focusing on something. I take a deep breath. I can do this. I quickly darted towards Zeraora only to skirt to a stop, throwing dirt and dust at Zeraora. He didn't move nor flinch, that's when I noticed Zeraora was asleep!"ARE YOU KIDDING ME," Lucario shouted. I charged up a shadow ball and rammed into Zeraora's stomach, sending him into the wall. He's awake now. He coughed a few times from the dust then yawned "sorry i haven't slept today yet." he said. "Oh," I said, "well, did I..did I beat you?" Zeraora gave a wink and intentionally let himself collapse as if saying yes. I looked at my trainer with a big smile. I did it! I finally won! After the rest of the match Zeraora came and found me and my trainer near the locker room "good job there umbreon" he said one of his eyes was now a blurry yellow the other still pure white. I bounced happily.

Zeraora's POV

"How would you like to go back home Zeraora," Ren asks. I looked back at Lucario who followed me and gave a sigh "I-... I don't know...," I said hesitantly. "I for one would like to see your home," said Lucario. "Yeah," I scoffed, "so you can talk smack about it." "No, really," said Lucario. I smirked then nodded to Ren. Ren takes me by the paw and leads me out. "Let's go, Umbreon," he calls. Once back home I sigh happily, being surrounded by the familiar smells and noises. I then hear a voice so familiar but I can't remember the name of the voice. "What did she do to you," a voice asks. "What did who do to me," I asked, confused. "Come on, let me take you back to your room. I'm sure you've missed it," the voice says. The person takes me by the paw and leads me to the room. The walk is quite long. And I assume Ren and Umbreon followed after. "There's no need to be scared, Umbreon," I said. There's nothing scary about this place. The desk clerk opens the door. It feels so familiar. But there was also the slight stench of a dead person in here. Ugh. Spirits are back. One thing I forgot. This hotel is haunted by ghosts. I walk around reaching out to the nearest object and touch it. This feels like a toy. I feel for another object. This feels like a couch. I reach for another object... It felt like... a medallion. A memory suddenly came to me, and my eyes opened wide.

I rested on the couch peacefully, holding onto the medallion. My trainer's niece and nephew gave it to me for Christmas. And I will cherish this medallion forever. Number one. I felt pride in myself. I feel a little tap on my shoulder. I opened my good eye to see Timmy looking at me. "What'd Ya need kid," I ask. I can hear Isabel crying. I sighed then stood up. I walked into Isabel's room, picked her up, and cradled her in my arms. She looks so beautiful like her mother. I just hope she doesn't become her. Timmy walks into the room and looks at me. I smile at him, giving a glare. Timmy sighed then walked back out. I listened as his door opened then closed. Good boy. Rose coughed and wheezed loudly. I became worried. She's been like this for months. I sat in the chair, and closed my eyes, trying to relax. I woke up the next morning and Isabel was gone. I looked in the other rooms. Iris and Timmy were gone as well. I gasped as I heard a sudden thud. ROSE! "DON'T WORRY! I'M COMING!"

Rose's POV

Zeraora runs to me, then holds me in his arms. "Zera...," Zeraora says softly. "She took them, Zeraora," I said in a raspy voice. I place my hand on Zeraora's cheek. "You have to find them." Zeraora grunts and nods. And he takes off like a lightning bolt.

Zeraora's POV

I ran for miles. I am their guardian! I will not stop running until they are found! I then roar loudly As a blade cuts me across my only good eye. I look around, and I try to hit whatever it was that hit me...but instead it took me out. I woke up days later hearing voices. I tried to jerk up, but something held me down. This isn't right. This isn't fair.

Lucario's POV

Present time...

Tears form in Zeraora's eyes, and he drops to the ground, covering his eyes. "I failed her! I failed THEM," he cried. I take the medallion out of Zeraora's paw and look at it curiously. "Zeraora...number one," I said in a sarcastic-sounding voice, "We love you...Merry Christmas." I tried not to laugh. Zeraora gave me a glare as if to say 'what the heck?'. "Oh no," Umbreon murmured. Then he got up his fur sparking more than ever before and what appeared to be lightning shooting from the corners of his eyes. Iris then snatched the medallion out of my paws.

Iris's POV

"THAT'S NOT YOURS," I yelled. "Lucario," Lucario growled. I held the medallion close to my chest. "It's Zeraora's," I whispered softly, almost crying. "Umbre," Umbreon asked curiously. Zeraora then looked at me silently then back at Lucario. I run to Zeraora and hug him tightly. I missed him. Zeraora sighed hugging me closely. "Zer," he says quietly. I begin sobbing, with my face in Zeraora's fur. Zeraora gave a small sigh before wiping away my tears and giving me a warm smile. Timothy hugs Zeraora from the side. Nearly knocking us over on to Umbreon. Zerora gave a small laugh before picking Umbreon up carefully.

Umbreon's POV

I immediately screamed. And five seconds later, so did Lucario. "Aww what's wrong Lucario? You scared of a little Joltik," Zeraora teased picking it up "GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME," lucario growled. Zeraora held the Joltik closer with a laugh. Lucario screams like a little human girl. And I thought I was scared... "Why are you scared of some Joltik," I asked, "You can literally make it explode with a single aura blast." "I. Don't give. A RATTATA'S TAIL," said Lucario, "GET IT AWAY FROM ME!" Zeraora laughed hysterically before letting the joltik outside then went back to Lucario, "Y'know you are pretty cute when you're scared," Zeraora said with a smirk before flicking Lucario's nose. Lucario growled. Oh great. Now they're going to start fighting again. Zeraora sighed lowering his head not seeming happy and playful anymore. My legs began shaking. Zeraora then punched a wall before walking outside. "Sorry," I said quietly. "It's not your fault, Umbreon," said Lucario. Zeraora sat outside, and I walked out and found him crying. "Oh no...," I whimpered, "This is my fault..." "No it's not Umbreon..." Zeraora muttered. "But it is! If I didn't hesitate to defeat you, we wouldn't be here in the first-" "Umbreon," Zeraora growled. "Sorry," I whispered. "Please stop saying 'sorry'," said Zeraora. "Sorry," I then said. Zeraora gave me a glare. "Sorry," I said quietly. Zeraora sighed then did a face palm. "Did I make you...uhh...mad," I asked. Zeraora rolled his eyes. "No, you're fine, it's just... I still just always have that feeling I'm not good enough despite me being nearly undefeated in a real fight," Zeraora explained. I walked back into the apartment, and carefully took the medallion from the human girl's hand. I then walked back out to Zeraora. And I read the front. "Zeraora. Number One," I said, smiling. Zeraora suddenly perked his ears. "The back says 'Merry Christmas'," I then said. "Yeah. I loved that gift. It made me feel very prideful when it was given to me," Zeraora said with a smile, "but ever since I failed her... I've been struggling to feel that pride anymore." a tear rolled down his cheek as he began crying again. I placed the medallion over Zeraora's neck. Perfect. "I wish I had a medal like that," I muttered, "But then everyone would stare at me. And I don't want everyone staring at me. And if everyone's staring at me, I can't do anything!"

Zeraora's POV

I looked in Umbreon's direction, listening to him as he hyperventilated, and muttered lots of words. I sighed then picked him up petting him, calming him down. I felt Umbreon paw at my medallion so I took it off and stuck it on Umbreon with a smile. "Am I safe," asked Lucario. "Yeah" I said, still petting Umbreon. I twitched my ear, listening to the sound of Lucario sliding down the wall to sit down. Lucario took a deep breath and sighed. I looked over at Lucario and smirked, flicking a pebble at Lucario. "OW," Lucario shouted, "What was that for?" I felt Umbreon lean against me like Isabel did when I held her in my arms. I sighed. "GIVE. IT. BACK," one of the voices shouted. My head immediately dropped. "Uuuugh."

Umbreon's POV

Zeraora took back the medallion, and the three of us walked back into the apartment. A boy and a girl were fighting over a blanket. But it's just a blanket. Zeraora cleared his throat, and then roared loudly, making me jump. Zeraora marched to them and took the blanket from their hands. "It's mine now," said Zeraora. Zeraora then motioned for both of them to sit on the couch. By the look on his face, he really seemed to have missed doing this. Zeraora walks to the kitchen, saying not a word. A Buneary hops after. This makes me scared. "This is all your fault," the boy mutters. "What's this," the Buneary asks. "It's...well, something," said Zeraora. I peeked inside the kitchen, still shaking. He was feeling around the counter and cabinets as if looking for something edible. "Ah, here we go," said Zeraora. "Are those herbs," I asked. "Eh, in a manner of sense, can you help me find a mug or something," Zeraora asked. I looked around in the kitchen. I walked in circles. We're never going to find it. "Here's one," said Lucario, "I mean...it's kinda small." "That'll do," said Zeraora. Zeraora started up the stove. He put some water and the herbs into a pot and a few minutes later turned the stove off. Zeraora grabbed the handle. Clearly he still remembered where it was. And he carefully poured it into the small cup. "Tea anyone," he asked. All of us remained silent. "Well, I guess that means more for me," said Zeraora, shrugging. Zeraora walked back into the living room and sat on the table with his cup of tea in hand. A Rockruff leaped onto the boy's lap. Zeraora slowly sipped at his tea, seeming more tired now. Zeraora stared into their eyes directly. I can only imagine how scared they really feel right now. "Come relax, get your mind off things," Zeraora said with a smile. Relax? RELAX? "Nononono," I muttered, "This place smells of the dead, and I am going to get to the very bottom of it." I can feel Everyone staring at me, and I quickly run down the hall to hide from their eyes. I wandered around. There are a few doors. My curiosity tells me to look, but the smell...why should I go in when either of the rooms could have a dead person inside? I slowly open the door next to me. My eyes filled with wonder. I saw a room like this actually... My trainer when he had a human child of his own called this kind of room 'the baby room'. Huh. There's a can in the corner of the room. My curiosity takes over. I have to see what's inside. I looked inside the can, and it smelled horrible! How long has all this been here? NEXT ROOM! I walk to the room across from this one. It looks interesting. I think this room belonged to the human girl. There are small glasses full of strange liquids. They smell nice. There's a box next to them. I pull it down and open it. What is this stuff? It smells weird. Make--up....make up for what? Okay I've seen enough. I look to the side of me, and I see another me. I scream. But I realize, it's just my reflection. Next room. The next room. It's a mess. Looks like a storm came through. "Ahem..." Zeraora said from behind me. I jump and scream. "Oh, Zeraora, heheh. It's just you." "Yeah... mind explaining why you're rummaging through people's rooms," Zeraora asked. "I was just curious." "Hm...," said Zeraora, "lemme come with you." Zeraora and I slowly walked to the room that was at the very end of the hallway. "The smell of dead people is getting stronger," I muttered. "It sure is," said Zeraora. I slowly pushed open the door, and there was a rotting human corpse laying on the floor. I began hyperventilating, my heart began racing. The sight had me paralyzed in complete fear and shock. Zeraora didn't even need to see it before he began gagging and turning away. I took a deep breath. I will not be paralyzed! I screamed loudly. Letting it all out. Lucario and Shinx come running our way. "What's the matter-OHH, what is that HORRIBLE SMELL?" I motioned to the corpse on the floor. Lucario walks into the room carefully, somehow unbothered by the smell. I peek in. "Is it real," I ask. Lucario lightly taps on the corpse. The corpse suddenly jumps up screaming in what seemed to be agony making Zeraora and Lucario jump back in fear. Me, however, I screamed loudly and, well, I guess I fainted.

"Umbreon? Umbreon are you okay," Eevee asked. Lucario was carrying me and Eevee running from the building but I didn't see Zeraora anywhere. We all met each other outside the apartment. The boy was laughing. Zeraora was clinging to the ceiling. "I scared you all good," said the boy, laughing. Zeraora glared at the boy with a raised brow. He dropped down before covering a gash on his back with a towel. "Huh," said the boy, "I guess I made the claws a little too sharp." You think? "That wasn't funny, Timothy," said the girl. "Since you caused this, you're gonna help clean up this mess," Zeraora growled at Timothy. Timothy sighed. "Sorry Zeraora." "Yeah right" he said. Timothy came back with a small medical kit. Zeraora gave a loud hiss as Timothy cleaned and stitched his cut. "Sorry," Timothy said quietly. Soo... "Was it fake," I asked. "Yes," growled Lucario, "It was fake." Zeraora could hardly move from his wound right up to his spine so he just sat down being careful not to touch the wound. I look outside. It's dark. Iris leaned against Zeraora's arm, wrapping her arms around him. Zeraora sighed and passed out. My trainer, with the help of Lucario, carried Zeraora back inside, and laid him on the couch. I looked to the side and saw a caterpie staring at me. I stared back. They're staring into my soul. I don't like this. I quickly ran back into the apartment. The others are also going back in. "You all get some rest," said my pokemon trainer, "Come on Umbreon." I sat. I've decided I'm going to face my fear. I'm staying here. I mean, we do live next door afterall.

Zeraora's Renovations

Umbreon's POV

It's dark. The girl leaned against Zeraora's arm, wrapping her arms around him.

Later that night...

Zeraora's POV

I stand by the window. I can hear footsteps coming close. "It really is beautiful, isn't it," Lucario asks. "Yeah," I said. "There's a huge moon and so many stars," said Lucario, "It's just...amazing." I smiled. I remember nights like this. Except instead of Lucario being next me, it was Timmy and Iris. I miss those days. "OH LOOK," Lucario exclaimed, "A shooting star! Oh,no, wait. That's just a satellite." I gave a small genuine laugh for once, which for a second came out as a small squeak which made me blush in embarrassment. Lucario then started laughing and snorting. I can't help but to keep laughing. Eventually we both calm down enough to talk again but we remain silent.

Lucario's POV

My stomach starts growling. I didn't have any dinner. "Are you hungry," I ask, "Cuz I'm hungry. Do ya know what? I'ma go get a snack. Do you wanna snack? Okay. Sure."

"But I never said-"

"DON'T WORRY! I'LL MAKE SURE TO BRING PLENTY OF PIZZA!"

Zeraora smacks me upside the head "Keep it down before you wake everyone," he growled. "Sorry," I murmured.

Buneary POV

I layed on the floor, staring at the ceiling. I can't sleep. So much has happened today. I look at the wall. It's red. Just like that one flower I saw by that little bush. So this is a city. It's big. Umbreon. He sounds scared. Maybe he wants to go home. I sit up, and I gently tap him on the back. He jumps. "Are you okay," I ask. "I'm an Umbreon," he murmurs. "I shouldn't be scared. Why am I scared? Umbreon's aren't supposed to be scared!" I hear footsteps. "Uh-huh." "You didn't hear what I said, did you?" The two of us look at the hallway. Lucario is walking into Timothy's room. He probably misses Brooke. But then, "Lucario has often been quite solitary," I murmured. "We have to find out what he's doing," I whisper to Umbreon. "Um, ok," said Umbreon, sounding quite unsure.

Lucario's POV

"Lucario...what are you doing," Buneary asks me. Oh no. "It's nothing. Go back to sleep youngen," I said softly. "But I can't go back to sleep," said Buneary. I have no words to say. Umbreon also peeks in. "I can't sleep either," he whispers. I sigh. "Just... try to go to sleep okay? I need to do something then I'm headed back to my room," I said, partially lying. "I can't stop thinking about stuff," said Buneary. "And I'm scared," said Umbreon. "Scared of what," I asked. Then there was a knock on the front door. I went to open the door, but Zeraora had already beat me to it. It was a very tired looking Gallade with two boxes of pizza and Zeraora handed the Gallade several dollars and took the boxes. "I had already ordered some snacks, y'know," Zeraora said. The four of us sat in the living room, and shared the pizza. Ya know, sometimes I wonder... "Zeraora, how is that you can walk around this place with ease, yet when you're out on the streets you walk around like you have no idea where you're going," I asked. "Well," Zeraora began, "I've memorized this place. And the streets? Obviously I've not a clue where I'm going. Especially when there's cars on the road. And there's also the fact that it feels like the city has changed a bit since I've been in that pokeball." We all hear a door open, and Shinx comes walking down the hall. "Oh, hi Zeraora," he said tiredly. "Hi Shinx," I said. "Is there somewhere I can sleep by myself," Shinx asked. "Oh yeah sure," Zeraora replied, "but you're not going to like it." Umbreon immediately gagged. "What," Shinx asked curiously. "The baby room hasn't been taken care of for two years," said Zeraora, "also meaning that there's a trash can in the room filled with two-year old dirty diapers." Zeraora gave Shinx a smug look. "Why hasn't anyone done anything," Shinx asked. "Well I dunno," I said. We all looked at Zeraora. "Zeraora. Weren't you the caretaker," Umbreon asked. Zeraora's eyes were wide. "Uhh, why can't Lucario do it," he asked. "I mean, he didn't mind the smell of the dead corpse," said Shinx. They all turned to look at me. "Oh trust me," I growled, "I did mind. I just-" "So why did you touch the fake dead corpse," asked Buneary. "Because I was curious," I said, "Dead corpses are one thing, dirty diapers however-" "They're disgusting," Buneary interrupted. I blinked slowly. "Yes, it is very disgusting," I said.

Buneary's POV

It was silent for a moment. "So," said Shinx, "there's only two of us, being Zeraora and Lucario, that are tall enough to get rid of those diapers." "Only one way to settle it," said Lucario. "I literally can't do it because my nose is more sensitive than normal, otherwise I'd be more than willing," Zeraora said. "Then use a clip," said Shinx, "you have clips right?" "Clips of Yu-gi-oh the movie? Yeah," said Zeraora. "Nononono," said Shinx, "not those not those. I mean the clips that you would use to hold things--" "Ohhh," said Zeraora, "uhh, lemme check the kitchen I might have a few." Zeraora then went into the kitchen. I looked back at the wall. It's a nice color. It really is. It's loud outside. So many sounds. "I'm back," said Zeraora. I perk my ears and I look at Zeraora. He kept poking his eyes as he kept trying to put a clip on his nose. "Let me help," said Lucario. Lucario took the clip from Zeraora's paw and placed it on his nose. "There," he then said, "that should help." Zeraora sighed deeply.

Zeraora's POV

I walked down the hallway. I opened the door to the baby's room, and walked in. "Okay," I murmured to myself, "you can do this." Since I was blind it was easy for me to ignore the sights, but the mushy feel of the diapers was quite disturbing nonetheless. When I finished up I immediately hopped into a bath despite hating water. After the bath I walked into the living room wrapped in a blanket. "That room needs some serious renovation," said Umbreon. "This entire apartment needs renovations," said Shinx. "Couldn't agree more," I said. "Maybe we can go shopping for some materials tomorrow," said Lucario, "And maybe while we're at we can get some-" "Paint," Buneary blurted. "SHH," said Shinx. "Yes, paint," said Lucario, "now stop interrupting me." "Okay," said Buneary.

The next morning...

Artemis' POV

"Shinx? Shinx? Shinx Where are you?" We've been looking for the pokemon. And we've been looking all over for them. "Lucario's not here either," said Brooke. "Neither is Zeraora," said Timothy. "What about Umbreon," asked Iris, "has anyone seen him?" We all shook our heads. We're screwed.

Meanwhile...

Umbreon's POV

I took a deep breath, then sighed. "Alright crew," Lucario said, being hyped up, "I've already written down a list. We need paint, we need light bulbs, we need decorations, we need a new bed for Artemis' room, and we really need a new couch for the living room." "How are we supposed to carry a bed and a couch into the apartment," Buneary asked. "Good question...," said Lucario, "Uhh...we can just order it." "And then we're gonna have to build them," I complained. "Yeah, well we're gonna have to build them no matter how we get them," said Zeraora. We begin looking around. Lucario and I look up at the ceiling. "Ya know last time I came to a store, the ceiling started caving in," I murmured. "Yeah? Last time I was at a store, the ceiling DID cave in," said Lucario. He heard me. "That must have been scary," said Buneary. "It was," Lucario then said. "I bet you screamed like a little girl," Zeraora teased. "I did not," Lucario growled. "You guys, focus," said Shinx. We came across the paint section. I may not be good at fighting, but I do know for a fact that I am a home-modeling perfectionist. "Okay, so maybe-" Lucario started. "There's no 'maybe' in color picking Lucario," I said, looking through the different colors. Lucario scoffed. "Trust me Lucario, I know exactly what I am doing," I said, "so my thinking is, we get sky blue for the living room, and maybe we could get lavender and pink for Iris' room; and for Timothy's room-" "Let me stop you right there," said Zeraora, "Let me choose the colors. I know Timothy and Iris better." I guess he has a point. "Sky blue for the living room, that would actually look nice. For Isabel's room, we could possibly use peach and coral," said Zeraora, "for Timothy's room, I'm thinking we should use some nice forest colors. He likes those. And for Iris' room we should do something that makes it look ocean-y." "I think I might have an idea for that," said Buneary. "What about the other room," I asked. "Good question," said Zeraora, "We'll use...purple and amber." I look around. "Hey, where's Lucario," I ask. At that moment, Lucario comes racing in our direction with a shopping cart. "I've got...a shopping cart," he says, trying to catch his breath. I give him a glare. "Yeah sorry, the guy...was being a complete...jerk and..he wouldn't let me...get the cart." "Yeah, well you didn't have to beat the guy," said Shinx.

Lucario's POV

Zeraora glares at me. "Whaaat?" "Quit beating people up for stupid reasons," Zeraora growled, smacking the back of my head. Ow. I rubbed my head. "He literally asked me to fight him for it! He even punched me," I then said. Zeraora shakes his head. We pick out different paints and put them in the cart. Buneary grabs a few brushes and rollers. "Tell me Umbreon, what do we got," asks Zeraora. "Not much," says Umbreon, "not really anything that'd match the Timothy and Iris' rooms. But we can try to find something for Isabel's room." "So what do you think we should get," asks Shinx. "Well, seeing as though she was two years old when she was taken from me, she's probably four years old now..." "So we need stuffed animals," I said. Zeraora shrugged. "Okay, so we need to get light bulbs and then we'll go," said Shinx. "Hey ima go somewhere else real quick okay? I need Buneary to come with me," Zeraora said, picking Buneary up. "O-k...uhh, see ya later I guess."

Zeraora's POV

I took Buneary to the arts and crafts aisle. "So what does Umbreon look like," I ask. "Why do you ask," Buneary asked. "Because I wanna make him a plushie of himself to help calm his nerves in stressful situations," Zeraora said with a smile. "Or perhaps we could just get something simple," said Buneary, "like this mushroom plush. It's soft, and it's squishy. Here. Feel." I took the mushroom plush, and it really was soft and squishy. "Alright. Fine," I said, sighing. I still couldn't see what it was, but I trusted Buneary. We go and we pay for the plush and the paint. I'm actually very excited for this. I squish the plush. I think there are a few beads in it. But it feels so satisfying. I hope Umbreon loves his gift. We get home. And I could do nothing but smile and think of how my apartment will look after it's been painted. Suddenly, I hear Umbreon scream.

Umbreon's POV

My brother charges up a shadow ball, and throws it at me, I quickly dodge it. "ESPEON I SWEAR IT'S ME," I scream. Espeon has been like this ever since we both evolved. Yes. We evolved on the same day together. And he immediately attacked me, and said I wasn't his brother! Can you believe that? I mean he also left that day too. I'll never forget the look on his face. That glare of death. It was scary.

Olivia (Tic Disorder)

Shinx also seemed to think that Olivia was possessed. I don't think she was. But I really think the twitching was very weird.

Espeon's POV

"THIS IS IT," I said excitedly. I whack my brother on the head, Umbreon, trying to wake him up. finally we will be adopted! Umbreon and I have been in and out of Pokémon adoption centers nearly all our life. And finally this will be the day! A Pokémon trainer picks me up, and holds me in her arms. "You're going to make a little girl very happy," says the trainer. What little girl? She pets me on the head, then takes me away. "Wait, you forgot Umbreon," I shouted, "Please! You have to go back and get Umbreon!" This trainer does a lot of walking. She finally comes to a stop. A few minutes later, a bus comes to a stop, and she gets on. I think I fell asleep, because it felt like we teleported. Wow. This must be her house. And the place is so huge! If only Umbreon could see this. The trainer walks into the house, and then up a big staircase. Everything in here is just so big! She then opens a door, and walks into the room. And turns on the light. I can't help but be curious as to why this 'little girl' was in bed. "Olivia, didn't I tell you to get out of bed," the trainer yells. The girl, who I assume is named Olivia, sits up and stretches. She gasps. "Is that an Espeon?" Yes. I am an Espeon. Surprise. "Is he mine," Olivia asks. "Only to protect you," the trainer says. Protect? I can do that. Ya know, if anyone ever decides to adopt my brother, I feel bad for them. My brother Umbreon, he's over dramatic sometimes. Olivia then looked at the trainer. "Mom, can I go outside," she asked. So the trainer is her mom. "Bring Frost with you too," the trainer said, "he needs some sunlight." "Okay," said Olivia. Olivia shook a hybrid looking pokemon that was laying next to her. "Wake up Frost. We're going outside," said Olivia. The pokemon yawned looking up with a confused look. "Come on, wake up," Olivia said, again. "Fine...," the pokemon said, getting up out of bed. I'm more curious. They had a bandage over their left eye. Why? Olivia gets out of bed and she excitedly runs out of her room. The pokemon looked at me with a glare of what seemed to be confusion. "Uhh...," I said awkwardly, "greetings?" "Hi... name's Frost, and despite my looks I am an eevee," Frost said shivering. Fascinating. Frost climbed onto Olivia's shoulder shivering while breathing small clouds of frozen breath as if he were in the middle of a winter's night. "OLIVIA, BRUSH YOUR HAIR FIRST," said the trainer. Olivia's head dropped. Frost gave a quiet laugh jumping down and running off coming back moments later with a brush for Olivia. Olivia looked back, then at the door. "I look fine," she said as she walked out the door, being accompanied by two other humans in fancier clothes. Frost followed after, still holding the brush in his mouth, knowing that she'd sit down on the bench in the flower maze. Although once in the maze frost dropped the brush next to Olivia's feet before curling up into a ball shaking more than before as though he was colder. My tail twitched. Maybe if I curl up next to him, he will be warm. But whenever I did I could feel the cold radiating off Frost's fur like metal in a Blizzard. This is fine. It's hot out here anyways. And I'm suffocating in this awful heat. Frost looked at me confused before sighing a cold breath and getting closer. So I was warming him up! "So... how long have you been evolved," Frost asked. "A little over three years," I replied. "You're lucky... my old trainer ruined my chance at evolving. I was supposed to become an umbreon but that night, with a single gym battle, ruined that," Frost said, beginning to tear up. I gently nuzzled Frost. He looked at me, tears in his eyes as he rested his head on me, crying. Suddenly, we hear something slam against the bushes. We both perked up. It was Olivia. Frost jumped up rushing over to Olivia.

Frost's POV

She was twitching again. "Is she going to be okay," asked Espeon. "I think so," I replied, "Her mom said something about her having some sort of disorder in which she has a lot of ticks. At least that's what I think she said..." "Huh," said Espeon, "that must be horrible." I sat with Olivia, placing my paw on her arm. She does this sometimes. It happens unexpectedly, She'd twitch and make different noises. Like whistling, or popping sounds. I looked at Espeon silently before blowing onto the ground making frost appear on the ground. He then laid on it as if it were a cooling pad. "Mooorrre," Espeon begged in a moaning voice. "Why do you need more," I asked. "It's so hooot," Espeon complained, sticking his tongue out. "Ffine..." I said blowing small puffs of cold onto him cooling him off. Olivia's twitching eventually calmed down and she scratched me behind the ears. I gave a quiet purr as I leaned into the scratches.

Olivia's POV

"Frost, why are breathing ice on Espeon," I asked. Frost turned away. "Eevah," Frost said quietly. Frost flicked his tail, sending the brush towards me. He looked back at me, but with a smirk. "Fine," I grumbled. I picked up the brush, and I carefully brushed my hair. I don't really see the point because it was very short. Espeon jumped onto the bench and curled next to Frost. "Espeo." Frost chirped. Those two really like being together. It's nice that- "blblb." they're getting along so well. I looked around. The guards weren't there to watch me. I sneak out of the garden while Frost and Espeon talk to each other. I don't like it when mom keeps me here at home. I've overheard her a few times. She's ashamed of my tic disorder. And my dad ran away because he was scared. But it's ok. It really doesn't bother me much. Sometimes I think she's getting me these Pokemon so I can have someone to accompany me instead of her. I stood at the fence. Everything looks so amazing. And this time, no one is stopping me from seeing what could be out there.

Espeon's POV

Frost and I eventually fell asleep from the sounds and our leveled out temperatures. This place is peaceful. I might bring Umbreon here someday. I sigh happily. But then I feel someone start pulling at my ear. "What," I ask, annoyed. "Olivia's missing," Frost exclaims. My eyes opened wide, and I looked at Frost. "We have to save her," I said. "I KNOW," Frost said, nearly growling. Frost and I searched the entire mansion, as well as the entire yard. "ESPEON," Frost calls. I turn to Frost. The gate is open. This isn't good. I don't know what reason I must protect for, but whatever reason it is, I know it has to be horrible! I darted out of the gate, Frost trailed behind me. We looked all over town for Olivia but she was nowhere to be found. "I am going to panic like my brother Umbreon if this hooman does not get found," I said panicking. "Hey watch where you're going kid!" some pokemon said angrily from a distance. Our ears perked. "That must be where Olivia is," I said. We followed where we heard the voice from and found a very angry looking lucario standing over Olivia. "H-hey," I shouted, "You there! Leave her alone!" The Lucario turned to me with a cold glare and seemingly bloodshot eyes as parts of his fur began to glow. "Oh cheese," Frost murmured. The Lucario then hit us with a powerful aura sphere. I hit him back with shadow ball. Other humans begin to look at us. They start to surround us. Some of them, on the Lucario's side, have nets. "Please, this doesn't have to end violently," said Frost, "just let us take the human and you can be on your way." The Lucario grumbled. He looked behind him and noticed the people holding nets. He glares. "Grr, alright fine," the Lucario growled. His fur stopped glowing.

Olivia's POV

Espeon and Frost look up at me. "What," I ask. Frost gives me a glare. I sigh, then I sit on the sidewalk. "Sorry," I murmur. "Eevee Ee," says Frost, sounding agitated. Then frost turns turns to espeon and chatters a few words. But Espeon continues to stare at me. "I'm not going home," I say. "Es esprrrreon," Espeon says. "Come on Espeon," I say, "I'm old enough to leave!" Then frost turned to face me again giving a glare. "Are you really on his side," I asked, glaring at Frost. "Fff-f-fr.... Fros!" Frost said. I grumbled. Frost glared at me. "Pleeease," I begged, "You know mom won't care!" Frost shook his head disapprovingly before grabbing the pokeball off the ground. It'd fallen when I was attacked by the lucario. I sighed sadly, then stood up. "You two are no fun," I murmured. Literally, all I've ever done my entire life is stay at home because mom is too ashamed of me and she refuses to introduce me to people outside the family. Frost sighs then looks at Espeon nodding before trying to push me in the opposite direction of home. "Wait where are we going," I asked. Espeon smiled. Frost pulled my map from my pocket and pointed to the pokemon adoption center. They start chattering again. "Why are we going there," I ask. Frost pointed to Espeon before grabbing a stick and horribly drawing an Umbreon in the dirt with the stick. "Uh...ok," I said, still not understanding. Frost ran off with Espeon to the pokemon adoption center. "Hey," I exclaimed, "Wait for me!" Once there, frost was sitting at the door looking into the window. Espeon's ear twitched. I, myself, looked through the window. Espeon went inside looking around. Frost and I follow him inside. He seemed concerned. "Espe," he called. "Snivy, vey Snivy," said a Snivy. Espeon's ears dropped. "Espeon," said Espeon, sounding sad. "Are you okay Espeon," I ask. Frost nuzzles Espeon as to comfort him. Espeon shoved Frost away and walked out. Frost and I quickly followed after. Frost seemed worried for Espeon as he chased after and blew ice onto Espeon's paws, freezing him where he was. Espeon growled.

Espeon's POV

An umbreon suddenly turned the corner, jumpscaring me. Look, I really didn't mean to hurt the guy, but it was natural instinct. Yes. I hit them. With a shadow ball. And they screamed. But they shot back. I swear ever since I hit that guy he has never stopped following me.

Present day...

Espeon's POV

I tilted my head. "Umbreon?" "OH FINALLY YOU SNAPPED OUT OF IT," he shouted. "Snapped out of what," I asked. suddenly a zeraora stood between us giving a low growl "what in arceus' name is going on here," he growled. "Family meeting," I replied, "Now Umbreon, take a seat." Umbreon plopped down. "Now listen," I said, trying to explain, "there's another Umbreon and they've been following me around ever since I accidentally threw a shadow ball at them." Olivia starts clicking and twitching. "Oh great, last thing we need is another possessed person," said a Shinx. "Hang on shinx i've heard this before, she has some weird ticking disorder. She involuntarily makes weird sounds and twitches at random times," Zeraora explained. "Hey! There you all are! You guys left me behind..." Frost exclaimed, breathing heavily as he walked over. "Oh, sorry F-f-frost," said Olivia. I jumped and immediately turned around and blasted Frost. Frost glared at me. "What was that for," Frost asked, growling. "Sorry," I said. Frost huffs before nuzzling up to me, I could feel the coldness of his fur now. I lean against him, warming him up. Frost smiles. "Anyways, so when and why did you come here," Zeraora asked. "We're traveling the world so Olivia can become the best pokemon trainer," I exclaimed. "Hah! How about you battle me then, should be easy seeing as how i'm blind" zeraora said with an enthusiastic tone. I looked at Frost and smirked. "Alright then," Frost said in a competitive tone, "bring it on fur ball!"

Artemis' POV

"Uhh...they're about to fight each other," I said worriedly. "AND THEY CAN TAKE THE FIGHT OUTSIDE," the desk clerk yelled from down the hall. Zeraora then walked past me with the two eeveelutions behind him going outside. Lucario then grabbed mine and the other girl's hand running after. "Where are we going now," she asked. "As if I would know," I said. "To watch the fight!" Lucario said. "What fight," I asked. "Fight," the girl then asked, "who's fighting? And how do you understand him?" "It's...complicated," I said. We reached Ren's gym and we saw zeraora and the other two getting ready to fight 2 v 1. "Don't worry I approved for a 2v1 fight makes it more fun!" Zeraora said. I looked at the other girl. "I think Zeraora is challenging you to a battle," I said. The girl's eyes widened and she ran excitedly to the Espeon and what seemed to be a hybrid looking Eevee. "OKAY," she said excitedly, "Frost use quick-attack!" Zeraora smirked and just before the quick-attack hit, Zeraora stepped aside so it'd miss. Iris goes to stand behind Zeraora.

Iris' POV

"Good start Zer," I said, "now use plasma blast!" Zeraora grunted, then ran up to frost, his claws sparkling and glowing before Zeraora swung at frost just barely missing him but still grazing him. Now Espeon was giving a smirk. "Espeon Espe." Zeraora glanced over at Espeon, quickly redirecting the attack to the ground. "Zera!" he shouted as he did so. Espeon quickly dodged and immediately hit Zeraora in the chest with a shadow ball knocking him into a wall. Zeraora got back up looking around and perking his ears up. Espeon trilled happily. Zeraora then looked in Espeon's direction holding a glowing blue palm out which launched an aurora beam out bee-lining towards Espeon at a great speed. Suddenly, Umbreon hit Zeraora with dark pulse. He trills. "Umbreon Umbre re re," Umbreon exclaims happily. "Zer zer," said Zeraora. Iris knew zeraora was trying to tell umbreon to stay out of the fight. At least that's what she thought she knew. Zeraora went to Umbreon, who was trembling a little, standing outside of the arena. He smiled then gave Umbreon a gentle pat on the head. Zerora went back to the near center of the arena looking around, listening. His ears turned in the direction of Frost's footsteps and ran towards it charging up close combat. "Frost, dodge," Olivia shouted. Frost went to jump away but Zeraora was now right behind frost and made contact with close combat knocking frost into a wall leaving a small crater in the wall. Olivia exhaled deeply. Frost got back to his feet. He looked at Espeon and the two nodded. Espeon and Frost stood in one place. And without a command, Espeon used shadow ball, distracting Zeraora, and Frost used ice beam while Zeraora was distracted but zeraora didn't move, he looked more terrified than anything before he used plasma fists on the ground shaking the whole arena and than he raised a paw in the air, a tear rolled down his cheek, something caused him to surrender. Espeon tilted his head. "Espe?" "Z-zera..." zeraora said then walked off the arena. "Umbrrrreon," Umbreon asked curiously. Umbreon was now trembling. Once everyone was treated I found zeraora in his room in a corner trembling. "Are you okay Zeraora," I asked. He grabbed a blanket next to him and hid within it. I wonder what made him so scared he ended up surrendering.

Zeraora's POV

Umbreon placed a paw on my hand. "Zeraora. Are you okay," he asked with concern.

I remained silent thinking about several years ago when my gym trainer abandoned me. "Zeraora," Umbreon asked, a little tremor in his voice. I look at Umbreon teary-eyed. "Did I hurt you," Umbreon asked. "No it's not you umbs" Zeraora said shakily. Olivia then walked up next to Iris, with her Eevee in her arms. I sighed and hugged Umbreon crying...

Another Somewhat Free for All...

I had just finished a fight here at the electric gym when another trainer came in with a glaceon and some other pokemon i didn't recognize, but they looked like a dark type. "Who are you? Don't you guys know we're closed for the night now?" I said to the pokemon and the trainer, the trainer looked oddly familiar though. My trainer gave me a pat on the head. "Don't growl at our guests, Zeraora," they said, "surely we can do one more battle can't we?" "I guess..." I said with a low growl. "C'mon zeraora lighten up, you're getting some good level ups from this!" my trainer said, I gave a low growl, getting into position when I recognized the pokemon, and the trainer. "Typhlosion and Glaceon...and Owen?" I asked, confused. As far as i knew the news said they had gone missing several weeks ago, I guess my trainer hadn't noticed it was them yet. "This will be a two v one fight, remember to fight fair once one trainers pokemon are all out the fight will end challengers choice of who goes first" the ref said. Owen pointed to me signaling I'd go first so I lunged at the Typhlosion with a roar as I used hidden power ice, shooting a flurry of snow at them but it didn't seem to even remotely bother them. "Not too bad..." said Silver, calmly, "But I bet you weren't expecting this...Glaceon, use Aurora Beam. Typhlosion, use shadowball" I jumped to the side just barely avoiding both attacks so in turn since I hadn't learned close combat yet I used counter, sending glaceon flying back into a wall which took a lot out of me so I was slower now. "Again," Owen shouted. I was hit this time and hit a wall, my eyes were now covered in ice so I could barely see but I pushed on. I ran up to the Glaceon and used plasma fists knocking glaceon out finally but I hadn't noticed typhlosion right in front of me. Before I could react, Typhlosion used flamethrower, and pounded me onto the ground. I couldn't feel my body or face...I couldn't open my eyes either. It was as if they were frozen shut. I twitched my ears. I could hear the sirens of a pokemon ambulance.

A few hours later...

Nurse Joy's POV

"Here's your pokemon," I said, giving the trainer the pokeball. The trainer looked long and hard at the pokeball, then he said quietly, "Throw it away. It's useless." it was the trainer's glaceon, but before i could stop him the trainer walked away. All that he left was a letter that had said ~to: owen~ which I guess was the trainer's name. Then the gym leader came in "hey don't worry about giving Zeraora back... he deserves a little retirement..." they said, seeming sad. I looked to the back room where zeraora was recovering. A few days later, Zeraora went home fully recovered, but he was still limping. So I followed him home.

We reached a hotel, and went to a room down one of the halls. He opened the door. There were two kids playing on the floor, and a little baby in laying on the couch. The kids looked at the door and smiled. They dropped everything, and they ran straight to him. "ZERAORA" "ZERAORA" "ZERAORA" "ZERAORA" "ZERAORA" "ZERAORA" "ZERAORA, YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT HAPPENED!" "HEY ZERAORA I FINALLY FOUND MY RACE CAR!" Zeraora then used a signal, telling them to calm down. "Zera zer," he said quietly. Zeraora looked a little upset.

Zeraora's POV

I'm a failure. I picked up Isabel, and sat down on the couch. She looked at me, and smiled. I really can't help but smile back. But even then, I still feel like I've failed.

Frost's POV

Present time...

I still didn't know much about Espeon, he never talked to me very often. I was curious about him. "Hey Espeon, why are you always staring at the sky," I asked. Although I knew he never really stared at the sky... "I'm not staring at anything," he said, looking towards the very top of the hotel. What could be so interesting about the top of that hotel, that he has to stare at it for hours? I looked up at where Espeon was, confused. It was a pain to see with only half my vision available due to my eye. I sighed and took the bandages off showing a nasty scar over my eye. Espeon continued to stare at the top of the building. "Espeon? What are you staring at?" I asked. "Someone's up there....it looks like Olivia," said Espeon. "What would she be doing up there," I asked. Explain shrugged. "It looks like she's trying to protect herself," Espeon then said. I tilted my head "is she on the second floor or something?" I asked. "Roof," was Espeon's simple response. Hearing that I ran up to the roof to see what was happening.

Timothy's POV

"Ee ee ee ee." Frost ran quickly down the hall with Espeon running behind him. "Where are they going," asked Brooke. Lucario shrugged. "Maybe we should follow them," said Iris. We followed Frost and Espeon up the stairs, Half way up, Umbreon dropped to the ground, panting.

Umbreon's POV

"I'm not fit for this." "Do you want me to carry you," asked Lucario. "No," I replied. For a few moments Lucario stared. I stared back. "Too bad," said Lucario. And he picked me up in his arms. Lucario went a few steps forward and motioned for everyone to follow him. I looked around. "Hey, where's Brooke," I asked. "Probably downstairs playing on his Nintendo," said Lucario.

Frost's POV

We reached the roof. Olivia was staring off into the distance with Dewott sitting by her side. "Olivia! You're okay," Espeon exclaimed. "Of course she's okay," said Dewott, "I've been sitting here with her." I smiled. "It's been a while Dewott, you don't usually come out of the pokeball, why's today different?" I asked. "Actually it was Olivia who let me out," said Dewott. "Huh... okay well still it's odd not seeing you in the pokeball, and to be honest I almost forgot you even existed," I said with a cold laugh. Dewott gave me an unamused glare. "What? It's true." I said. I then went to sit on the other side of Olivia. I sighed deeply, and shivered a little. I looked up at Olivia, thinking something was very wrong if she let that annoying Dewott out for once. "Ya know, I'm kinda starting to miss home Frost," Olivia said. "We can go back if you want? Mum's probably worried sick with how long we've been gone," I said, seeming eager to go back. Olivia simply pet me on the head. I sighed and laid down when we all heard a door open. "You just had to be on the roof, didn't ya," said Lucario, panting. "Shut up, you're just unfit and not as athletic as us," I said. Lucario growled. "WHO YOU CALLIN UNFIT," he barked. I smirked and walked around the roof and looked down the side to the ground seeing a zoroark who looked like they were having an anxiety attack against the building. "Hey is she okay? Umbreon you know more about anxiety than me," I said. Umbreon stared at the zoroark for a moment. Then he shrugged. "I just have anxiety in general. I don't know what her problem is." I sighed then made an ice slide all the way down and slid down to the zoroark who was looking around frantically while freaking out about something. The zoroark looked at me and somewhat calmed down. Shortly later Lucario slid down after. "Hey, you alright," I asked. "No, my trainer went into the store and hasn't come out in TWO HOURS," the zoroark said, freaking out. "Well, maybe they have a lot of groceries," said Lucario, scratching his head. "But why would she need that many groceries," the zoroark asked. I shrugged. "Well maybe they just need to get a certain type of brand, and finding specific brands is kinda hard ya know," said Lucario. "Uh, hey, why don't you come up here with the rest of us where it's safer," I said. The zoroark stared. "But what about my trainer?" she asked. "We can help you find her...or him," said Espeon from above. "Mmmh.... O-okay..." the zoroark said, not seeming too sure. Lucario looked up. "Hey Zera, can you lend us a paw over here," Lucario shouted. "No need to yell i'm right behind you" zeraora said standing behind lucario. Lucario immediately jumped and screamed, making Zoroark scream as well. "Uh, Zeraora, how did you even get there," asked Lucario. "I've been here..." zeraora said, unamused. Lucario stared for a moment, before blinking a few times. "Ugh, whatever. Help me get this zoroark up to the roof.'' Lucario said. Zeraora nodded and held a paw out to zoroark. Once on the roof, Zoroark gasped. "Timmy is that you," she asked. "And Iris," said Zeraora. Zoroark jerked her head to look at Zeraora. "I know," she growled, "now you and I are going to have a talk later." Zeraora gave zoroark a glare.

Artemis' POV

Zoroark hugged Timothy tightly. It was as if she had completely forgotten how scared she was. The Zoroark then looked at me. She walked over to me and picked me up. "Look Zeraora, she has Emerald eyes! Just like Izzy," Zoroark giggled. Zeraora gave a look of unamusement. "I can't see them, I'm blind," he said. "Who's Izzy," I asked. Zoroark went silent and stared at me. "How do you understand me," she asked. "It's a complicated story," said Lucario, "which I have never been a part of." "Then how do you know if it's a complicated story," zoroark asked. "Because I've heard it so many times," said Lucario. Zeraora sighed and looked around, despite being blind. "I've never seen you around here before," zoroark said, "what brings you here." "I'm looking for my parents," I said. Zoroark put me down. "Hey, am I the only one hearing this?" zeraora asked his ears twitching like crazy. "Hearing what," asked Shinx. "That loud screeching sound" zeraora responded. We looked over the roof. "Charizard," I shouted. Charizard was walking around in front of the cars, panicking and flapping his wings. I looked inside my bag. I was missing a pokeball. "That's Charizard," I said quietly. Zeraora jumped off the building landing on his feet without any casualties and pounced on charizard "calm down you big brute!" zeraora said, managing to keep charizard down. Charizard, with all his strength, lifted his head up, and shook Zeraora off, sending him flying into the hotel doors. Hey, where's Brooke?

Brooke's POV

I looked outside the hotel doors. Zeraora is good at fighting. If you're wondering why I'm by myself, it's because I don't always like being around people. The group is growing. It makes me nervous. So I'm staying down here and playing Minecraft on my laptop. Suddenly luke pulled me back as zeraora got launched through the doors at me, zeraora was now badly wounded and burnt from the charizard's tail....Wait...where's my...my...MY LAPTOP!!! NO! NONONONONO!!!! When I looked around, Luke had it in his arms. It was not broken. I leaned against Luke and sighed. I began flapping my hands nervously. Zeraora tried getting up but then Luke got up again and put a paw on zeraora's chest as if telling him to just stay down before walking to the door, his fur beginning to glow as he growled. "NO," Artemis shouted, "WAIT! Don't hurt him!" Luke's fur stopped glowing and he looked at Artemis. "Lucar?" "He's my friend," said Artemis, "and he's very scared."

Lucario's POV

He's scared? Heck. That thing had me scared! I looked at Brooke. He was now rocking back and forth. I simply huffed and continued back outside to charizard irritated now after they not only hurt zeraora but caused brooke to be scared. Artemis slowly approached the charizard. She wasn't afraid of him. Despite how angry he looked. "It's okay Charizard," she said calmingly, "they won't hurt you." Charizard lowered his head, and Artemis carefully placed her hand on his snout. She then leaned on him, as if she were tired. I began to smell something strange. The same strange smell that I did last time when Artemis fell...I immediately ran over to Artemis, worried now, but at least I was able to catch her before she fell to the ground...again. I gently set her on the ground and looked around before running to a nearby hospital and picking up Nurse Joy over my head and running back with them. When I came back, Artemis was kind of okay. But the doctor checked on her anyway. "She's going to be okay," said Nurse Joy. I'm actually quite proud of myself. Once I turned to face everyone again they were all giving a shocked expression and I knew it was because I actually helped and cared for someone other than myself and brooke. Once again, I feel very proud of myself. I pick Artemis up and take her back to the others before going back to Charizard glaring at them dead in the eyes. Charizard glared back, blowing a puff of smoke at me through his nostrils. My fur began to glow again as I let out a very audible growl.

Brooke's POV

Artemis put the charizard back in its pokeball. I walked over to the desk, here I found a globe similar to the one dad gave me. I picked it up and swiped my hand against it. It didn't spin. It's supposed to spin. I then went to Lucario and showed it to him. "It's not working Lucario." I tried to spin it again. But it still wouldn't work. "See?" Luke looked at it then bent one of the poles then spun it successfully "luca-car" he said. I smiled.

Lucario's POV

Brooke gave a huge smile and laughed as spun the globe. I smiled, I enjoyed seeing Brooke happy. I turned back around. There were some people who had just come in, and some of them, being the younger ones, were giving Brooke very judgemental glares. A kid from the group walked over to Brooke and tapped him on the shoulder. And if it's one thing that I know, Brooke does not like other people touching him. Brooke shrieked, trying to shove the kid away. "Dude chill," said the kid, "I was only trying to get your attention." I walked over with a soft growl just to show I was protecting Brooke. The kid seemed to ignore me. "So why are you getting so excited over a spinning globe," the kid asked, "also can you take some control over your Lucario?" Brooke remained silent. He looked at me, as if he thought I had the answers. I then grabbed a marker off the desk and went to the whiteboard by the entrance and wrote on it *My trainer has autism, and it entertains him. I am also his guardian so I apologize if I come off as rude or aggressive, just you scared my trainer so I was making you back off* I wrote. "Autism," the kid asked, "isn't that when the person is very stupid and-" "TONY," shouted one of the adults, which I assumed is the mom. Zeraora immediately covered the kid's mouth.

Tony's POV

"Zer..." the Zeraora growled. "There's no need to be rude like that Tony," said mom, "and you know I've done told you a dozen times NOT to call anyone stupid!" Then the lucario pried zeraora off me and then looked at mom. Mom smiled at the Lucario and patted him on the head. "I'm sorry," she said to the Lucario, "you'll have to excuse my little boy. He can be rude sometimes." The Lucario looked at me then smiled with a small laugh. "Luc" he said then went over to who I assumed was Brooke that he mentioned.

Lucario's POV

I slowly took the globe from Brooke's hands, and put it back on the desk. Oh great. Not that smell again. Come on Artemis. Let's not do this today. Please. I stared at Artemis intently. She never twitched. She never fell. I took a deep breath. This abyssal stare she is doing is creeping me out. You know what's scarier? She's staring right at me. Brrr. Artemis then jerked her head a little, startling Umbreon and Zoroark. She then looked to the floor, and the strange smell faded. Artemis looked around, blinking a few times. Rockruff and I remained confused. Rockruff looked at me. I looked back at him. I knew we were both thinking the same thing. She was supposed to fall...but she didn't.

Umbreon's POV

It's a staring contest between Lucario and Rockruff! "A staring contest between Lucario and Rockruff," Zoroark said excitedly. "Did you just read my mind," I asked. "No," said Zoroark. "Then how did you know what I was thinking," I asked. "I didn't," said Zoroark. I gave Zoroark a very suspicious look. "Are you sure," I asked. Zoroark glared and crossed her arms. She then perked. "But what if I can," she asked, her eyes wide. My eyes opened wide. "Oh me gosh! Maybe we are telepathically connected," I said. Zoroark gasped. "Try to read my mind! What am I thinking right now?" I stared hard into Zoroark's eyes. She stared hard into mine, with her paws pressed against her head. "Can one of you tell me why you two sound like you're constipated," asked Espeon. "Quiet Espeon! I'm trying to read Zoroark's mind," I said. Espeon glared. "HOME," I blurted. I blinked. "That was what you were thinking, right?" "That was EXACTLY what I was thinking," said Zoroak excitedly.

Espeon's POV

I rolled my eyes. Such a child, those two.

Facts for today:

-I'm a little hypocritical about this, but absentee seizures are not funny. It's just the explaining that makes me laugh...As my brother puts it; one moment I'm very social, next thing I know I'm staring at the seagulls

-Just because one has Autism, doesn't mean they're stupid. There are actually people with -Autism that have invented/created things that we enjoy using today.

-Most people with Autism do not like crowds because for them it's overwhelming.

-When someone has separation anxiety, they will often be very stressed over someone leaving them that they care about. They often panic about what is happening to the person.

-When someone has a seizure, don't immediately call an ambulance (it is quite unprofessional). Instead, time the seizure. If it lasts longer than five minutes, then you call the ambulance.

-when someone is blind that is never a reason to tease them because they can't see what they are doing so they don't know if they look stupid or not.

Coral (Adrenal insufficiency)

Brooke's POV

More people came into the lobby. It is loud. "There are a lot of people and pokemon in here Lucario," I said, rocking myself. "Luucar" Lucario said with a quiet growl. I took Lucario's paw and squeezed it tight, signaling that I wanted to leave.

Lucario's POV

Although the place wasn't very busy, I knew that Brooke was bothered by the sounds that he heard all at once. I picked Brooke up and looked for a clear path and walked out with him. I set Brooke down, and he pet me on the head. I smiled sitting so Brooke could reach the top of my head seeing as how much taller I was than him. I perked my ears, hearing the sound of someone drinking from a water bottle. I turned my head and there was the desk lady.

Brooke's POV

Does she not like the loud lobby either? Lucario got up, and went to Miss.Coral. Miss.Coral is the desk lady's name. I saw it on her shirt. It said Coral. I like Miss.Coral. She is nice. But she is also always tired. Iris says that it is because she is up all night. Lucario placed a paw on Miss. Coral's shoulder. And he tilted his head. "Lucar?"

Coral's POV

I looked up to see a Lucario staring at me. I saw the bandage on his leg. I knew who's Lucario it was. It was Brooke's Lucario. "Uh, don't worry. I'm okay," I said, "I'm just...tired." Lucario continued to stare at me with concern. He blinked a few times, then looked at Brooke, who was up against the wall, rocking himself. "Is it getting too loud for you Brooke," I asked. Brooke slowly nodded. I've been told that Brooke is Autistic. And I've also been told that people with autism like to keep to themselves. But I've been having some nice conversations with Brooke. He sits behind the desk with me, and tells me a lot about galaxies and planets, while happily spinning in the other desk chair. "You are tired," said Brooke, tilting his head, as if to ask. I sighed. "Yes Brooke," I replied, "I'm very tired." Brooke then crawled over to me and sat. Lucario sat next to him. "Miss.Coral." I looked at Brooke. "Yes Brooke?" "Are we friends?" I stared at Brooke for a few moments, then I gently patted him on the shoulder. He flinched. "Of course we're friends," I said, smiling. Brooke then smiled and started rocking himself again. "I like the desk chairs," he said, "they can spin." I nodded. "I know." Lucario gives a yawn. "You're tired too, huh Lucario?" Lucario nodded. I sighed deeply as I looked at my watch. Break times over. "Well, I have to go back to work Brooke," I said, "you wanna come help me behind the desk?" And at that moment, Brooke perked up. Lucario gave Brooke a look that said 'do whatever i don't care'.

Lucario's POV

Miss.Coral stood, and Brooke did as well. And just as Miss.Coral left, Brooke grabbed me by the paw, and dragged me along. Happily following Miss.Coral back to the lobby. I groaned unamused, letting him drag me as I didn't want to move. We got back to the lobby, everything had calmed down. There were fewer people. Brooke releases my paw and he goes behind the desk, and sits in his favorite chair. Of course all of the desk chairs spin, but that one specific chair was his favorite. Lucario growled to himself wanting to leave and go to bed. "Come on Lucario," said Brooke. I sighed. My eyelids were heavy, my ears and my arms were drooped. I tiredly walked through the door, going behind the desk, and like that, I dropped to the floor.

Coral's POV

I gave a slight chuckle as Lucario started snoring quietly. I turned to my computer and turned it on. Brooke took out his laptop and his headphones. He turns on his laptop. "Playing Minecraft," I asked. "No," Brooke responded, "I am going to watch YouTube videos. I am going to watch Stampy because he is my favorite. And he plays Minecraft." Brooke put on his headphones and opened YouTube. Brooke laughed and rocked himself as he watched the video on the screen. Many of the customers gave Brooke judgemental looks and murmured amongst themselves. I could barely hear what they were saying. But I could hear a few people saying 'stay away, he might be contagious' or 'ignore that lunatic'....Suddenly, the door burst open. LucarLucario immediately jerked up from his sleep. Everyone watched curiously as a man dragged a Lycanrock into the lobby, but the Lycanrock procrastinated. "Come on...useless Pokémon!" Lucario peeked up. His fur immediately began glowing. And he jumped over the counter.

Lucario's POV

"LEAVE HIM ALONE!" I raised my paw at him, but before I could land a hit, Zoroark grabbed my arm. "This isn't the way to do it," she said calmly. I growled and yanked my arm away. She's wrong! It's the only way! How else is he supposed to learn his lesson? "Aren't you supposed to be looking for someone," I asked, growling. Zoroark's ears perked. "She's probably at the store looking for you," I said. Zoroark then seemed to be filled with confidence. "Alright, I'll go back and look for her!" "I'LL TELL YOU IF I FIND HER!!" "Yeah sure..." Zoroark ran out the doors. I looked back at Brooke and Miss.Coral. Surprisingly, Brooke was just fine....Eh, he's probably watching YouTube.

Coral's POV

I put a small piece of paper on Brooke's laptop that said *I'm going to get a snack. Do you want one?* Brooke looked down at the note. He smiled, then nodded. Then he wrote on the note saying *Can you get cookies?* "Of course," I said quietly. I carefully got up, only to kneel to the ground, feeling dizzy. Brooke took off his headphones and sat on the ground next to me. "Miss.Coral...you...you are okay, yes?" I slowly nodded as I placed my hand on Brooke's shoulder. Surprisingly he didn't flinch. "We are friends," said Brooke. "Yes Brooke," I said, sighing. I curl into a ball and rest my head on my arms.

Lucario's POV

I started to get a little hungry. I went to the vending machine, and at that moment, "IT STOPPED RAINING," shouted Buneary. She just now noticed?

Coral's POV

A few minutes go by. The bell is ringing. Brooke is in his favorite chair explaining to everyone that I fell out of mine when I stood up.My eyes start getting heavy. But I can't sleep during my job. Suddenly, I hear the sound of munching. I looked up through my bangs that had fallen over my eyes, and I saw what seemed to be Lucario, staring at me, while eating a pack of goldfish. Brooke was also looking at me. He had a bag of cookies and was stuffing his mouth. I glared. "Lucario got you some gummies," said Brooke. I carefully stood up and noticed the pack of gummies next to my computer. "Thank you, Lucario."

Bloopers Part One

Grace (SPD)

Artemis' POV

I hugged Lucario tightly and gave Brooke a fist bump. "Bye Brooke. Bye Lucario," I said, giving a gentle smile. "I thought we were going with you," said Brooke. "You are," I asked, confused. I looked at Lucario, who was smiling. "It'll be good for him," said Lucario. I smiled back. I looked back at Iris and Timothy. "So where are we going this time, Iris?" "You'll see," said Iris, "but before we get on the plane, let's get some breakfast first."

At..some sort of restaurant...

Grace's POV

My friend, Jasmine and I sat at the table, scanning the menu. "You know what you want," Jasmine asks. I quickly shake my head. Whenever we go to a restaurant, Jasmine always sits next to me. The table waiter finally comes. "Hi, I'm Lindsey, and I will be your waitress today. So do we wanna start off with something to drink?" "Um, yeah sure," says Jasmine. Wow. She really makes it look so easy.

Jasmine's POV

I look at my friend. She's already trembling and mumbling. "What do you want to drink, Grace," I ask. "Orange juice," she murmurs quietly. I look at the waitress. "Um, for her, she wants Orange juice. And for me, um, I'd like water." The waitress writes on the notepad and smiles. "Okay. I'll be right back." I gave Grace a gentle pat on the back to try and calm her down.

Grace's POV

A group walks in with their Pokémon, and they sit at the big table next to us. Something happened to that boy's Lucario. BUT how am I supposed to ask? What if I scare him? What if he gets scared? My heart beats rapidly, and I begin to feel like I'm being choked. I think the Lucario can hear me. It is staring at me. I raised my hand slowly, and waved. The Lucario's trainer turns to me and stares. He looks concerned.

Okay. This shouldn't be too hard to explain. I'm not in danger. There's nothing around here that could even put me in danger...maybe except for that pikachu over there. It should be in its pokeball. And so should that Lucario. Suddenly, someone taps me on the shoulder, making me jump.

"Iris said I should talk to some people," said the person, "but I do not like talking to people." "I don't...talk...don't-talk much...people..to people...much-either. Glnn..." Why does talking have to be so hard? "I am Brooke," said the person. Brooke continued to look at me with a blank stare. "I... Grr..rr..Grrace,'' I murmured quietly. "It is nice to meet you," said Brooke. Lindsey is back. But Jasmine isn't. HOW LONG DOES SHE NEED TO USE THE BATHROOM? Lindsey looks at Brooke, then at me before setting down the drinks. "Do you want to wait on your sister," she asks. Is that even a question? I nodded. "Mmhm." Lindsey nods then leaves.

Brooke's POV

I look back. Iris and Lucario are happy. Iris is jumping and Lucario is clapping. I then look at the person with the pikachu. "He is very excited," I said, fidgeting with my hands, "but I do not understand why he is excited over breakfast..." The person looks our way.

Grace's POV

I begin to panic as the person with the pikachu we were staring at looks our way. Brooke also seems to be in a panic. "HEY," he shouts. Uhh, hey? He waves, and walks over to another table. "Phew." Another person starts walking towards us. At this point, Brooke is looking as choked as I am.

That person is staring right back at us. "Hi there," he said in a happy voice. OH, GREAT MOONS! The person holds out their hand. "I'm Nathan." Brooke and I look at each other. Brooke turns and looks at Nathan. The silence is awkward. After a couple minutes, Brooke finally speaks up, only to say two words. "I'm Brooke." Brooke then pushed away Nathan's hand. Brooke then looks back at me, as if waiting for me to answer.

"I uh...ermmm..Grrr...rrr..uhh..nnnnnn....Grraace." "What was that," asked Nathan. "Her name is Grace," said Brooke, "she doesn't like talking to other people." I fidgeted with my hands happily. Thanks Brooke. "Well it's nice to meet you," said Nathan. Yeah sure. Jasmine finally returns. Brooke runs back to his table. I can breathe normally again. Actually, to be honest, I kinda enjoyed Brooke's company. He was nice.

Jasmine's POV

A person looks at me as I walk back to the table. "Can I help you,'' I ask. "No," said the person, "I was just saying hi." I glared. "Okay. Hi. Now if you would go along, that would REALLY make my day." "How," the person asked. I gave A frustrated sigh. "Okay. Okay. I'll go."

"Sorry it took me so long, kiddo. Had A little run in with Kennedy. To think she had let it all go. Heh. When she saw me, she insulted me, and my mom. I mean, I tried to keep my cool. I really did. I mean, usually I'd knock her lights out for talking about my mom the way she did, but instead, I just walked out the door, well, I tried anyway." "Lemme guess," said Grace, sighing, "she blocked the door." "In a way," I said.
