WOOSH!

BOOM!

Cyber-like blue flames crashed into an orange holographic construct. A black cat woman named Rane stood before the now burning object.

"What the hell has gotten into you, Rebexa?" she yelled, growling to herself.

"The infinite wonders, Rane!" An older black cat woman countered. Wearing a torn up orange cloak with a star sigil on the back of it, Rebexa laughed. "You should be more respectful to your mother."

Indignantly, Rane's red eyes glowed and kindled with rage. "You're no mother of mine! You gave up being a mother the second you made a deal with a false god!"

Flames rose on Rane's black jacket, covering her arms and paws with the blue heat. Her flames switched through colors, purple appearing right before blue. _Boom. _She dashed ahead and blew up the rest of the construct her mother had made, heading right towards Rebexa.

Rebexa grabbed Rane's paw with her own. Surging with her own energy now, she lifted her daughter in the air and slammed her into the ground with another loud _Boom. _The older cat woman stomped her daughter further into the metallic ground. Tramping her more, Rebexa chuckled, finding more amusement out of this.

"Stupid fucking..." Rane growled and her flames intensified, pushing herself slowly off the ground. Soon, a burst of flames emitted from her and she hopped up. Her mother threw a punch, but Rane clashed with her own ignited fist.

Not amused by this, Rebexa frowned. "Why couldn't you just join me? This city is not worth it. You're fighting for nothing. Rane, you could become a god like me!" She tried to get her daughter to switch sides.

Seconds melted away, the two cats threw barrages of punches at each other, exchanging bloody hits to the face and to the chest. Rane roared and Rebexa's annoyed growl rang in her ears. Rane released an eruption of flames, pushing her mother away from her.

Chuckling, Rebexa had a construct appear from her arm to protect her from the eruption. She motioned her paws forward, making sharp objects appear in front of her and _zoom _over to her daughter.

A glint of blue sparked in Rane's eyes. Trailing blue flames followed her as she avoided each construct. Her eyes darted to her mother, her one and only target. The world slowed down around her, but that brought her closer to Rebexa. She grabbed her mother by the throat, flames lit up in her eyes.

Rebexa's eyes widened, but she grinned, piercing a sharp orange construct in her daughter's stomach. "Go to sleep now, child."

Blood dripped from Rane's maw, smiling through the pain. "I will, but I'm taking you with me." Rane's body ignited.

Panic filled her mother's gaze, causing her to yell. "Rane. This isn't worth it. None of this is worth it for this god forbidden city!"

"I grew up here, lived happily with my friends, as well as my family, until you became... this." The flames illuminated.

Jamming more sharp objects into her daughter, Rebexa felt her fur and flesh scorching off. "You suicidal maniac!"

"I'll die this day, but I promise you're dying first." The young cat woman spoke.

Boom.

A pillar of multicolored flames erupted into the sky, melting things around it. The building they fought it torn apart and destroyed. Caught in the flames, a few more buildings disappeared. There was one thing Rebexa didn't keep in mind.

Her daughter's burning passion.
