Katsura had headed into the forrest, and became aware of the sound of the hunter, in the trees, her white pershian furr was dead give away in the shadows of the forrest. The hunter had seen her, and was thinking how much money her furr would bring him, for he knew that she was the last of her clan.

Meanwhile the green thorned vines, shot out and cocooned, katsura, and took her to an exotic place that was filled with many flowers, some so rare that no human had ever seen them, such as the moon flower, lunceria.

When the vines gently set her down, she came face to face with a being she had never seen before, that looked like some kind of plant creature. Who had sensed her fear the moment she had been broadcasting it, and had rescued her from the hunter. He was now sending warmth at her, and spoke mentally to her using telepathy. _"Be not afraid my furry friend, I could feel your fear and wanted to protect you, from the hunter on your trail, he cannot enter this place only those who are seeking scantuary may enter and know peace for awhile.

_

Katsura glanced at him slightly. "But the hunter will not give up, my friend, and you should know that as well as I. How ever I trust in your words, and would like to know your name? My name is Katsura."

The plant man like creature seemed to smile, his eyes glowing eerily the same shade as the greenery around him with a hint of icy blue in their depths. "I am called Karzan, and tis a pleasure meeting you lady Katsura" Then he was slight for a moment or too, contemplating what else he could tell her, and as he stood there thinking, he felt a slight disturbance within his magical shield on the edge of the clearing and he knew that the hunter was out there waiting.

Katsura glanced up at him, and knew that the hunter was out there waiting for them. "What will you do to him, if he manages to get into the clearing Karzan? I have some magic, but this only for growing plants, and is of no real use at all... But when she reached out to touch one of the vines that was very much apart of her rescuer, she felt a burning sensation go up her furred arm, and her claws flexed slightly and then she felt his emotions, somehow they had become pysically linked through their mental thoughts and feelings.

Though she had never told Karzan, she belived deep in her soul that he was quite handsome, even for being a plant like man creature, who was not wearing anything at all at the moment, but was covered in what appeared to be green leaves mayhaps.

She knew that he was worried about the garden and herself, and she flexed her claw like paws, and spoke a magical word and conjured one of her weapons. Which seemed to be curved double bladed sword of some type that her clan had made, and she alone knew the secrete to make.

Karzan replied softly though telepathy. _"You will remain within the clearing I shall send out my vines to scare the intruder off, I will not have you harm yourself here within my garden, my lady. Besides humans can often be scared away by the unknown, for they often fear what they do not understand, and he will not like the suprise of my thorns appearing out of no where. Besides it is mortals who nearly killed me long ago, I felt your pain when they destroyed your clan... Some how we have become linked mentally I felt you connect to my mind, and though I find you attractive I know that I cannot act on it, because it would be wrong to do so.

I realize that because we share the same exact pain it may foreshadow our emotions toward one another, and though you have the power to grow things that is magic indeed for very few have a green thumb such as you Katsura. I would like to explore what we feel towards one another, but perhaps at another time when you are not worried about being killed, and I not so worried about protecting you and this garden of rarities, and beauty..."

_ Katsura smiled faintly at his words. "Then you know that I must help you against this foe, and not allow you to fight alone, for I would feel guilty staying behind while you try to be the man and protect me from my hunter. However I know how to fight because the humans taught me twas better to never be defensless then to be unarmed and to allow your enemies to come in and slaughter you.

We may share the same pain because of what happened to us long ago, and like you I would wish to explore this mental link. But I also know until the hunter is delt with, that I will not relax until he is gone from this forrest. And from your emotions I am getting I sense that he is lurnking around and yet is unable to enter into this clearing. He repsents a danger to myself and therefore you see fit to get rid of him. I appreciate it do not get me wrong."

Her tail flickered slightly as she stroked one of the veins and saw his mucles twitch in reaction as if what she was doing gave him some form of pleasure. So her eyes narrowed upon him. "If he cannot enter perhaps there are some other ways in which you can distract me from thinking of the hunter. Do you know of any stories to tell? If not perhaps you can show me your realm and tell me of the flowers that are here, some of them I have never seen before."

Karzan listoned to her counsel, and almost smiled though he did twitch slightly as soothing pleausre came to him from one of his vines as she petted and stroked it. "I could tell you about the flowers, as I know that he cannot enter this place, but still it is wise to send him on his way. I know no storiest that could entertian you Katsura. But I can show you my world, if you would care to see it amongst the plants here, the garden is not the only thing I have worked with, and this is not my home, though it is on the edge of my lair. If you would like I can take you there and speak to you more comfortably." He of course had already sent his thorn like vines to the human hunter to scare him off having a feeling within his gut that the mortal would run away and never return to this part of the forrest again. So he moved towards her, and waited her answer.

Katsura glanced upwards at him, and continued stroking the one vine near her. "I would very much like to see your home Karzan, and what ever else you would like to show me. I am greatful for the rescue, and I have always enjoyed seeing other things, perhaps it is the coursity of the feline that often kills us. But I sense you would never let anything happen to me like that, and so I completly trust you with my life. Yes I would love to see your home, and what ever else you have acomplished here."

Karzan then picked her up with his own vine like arms, and cradled her against his chest, and began the long journey towards his home, and to show her what it was like living in his world alone, with only the plants to speak with, it had been a long time sine he'd had company here, and though he had debated somewhat shortly of wither he should rescue her. He was glad that now he had, for in her he sensed a love of growing things, and the power that simmered underneath the surface of the feline that was her own. He moved gracefully despite that he was a plant like being, and should have moved jerkly at the best.

The trees began to blur the faster he walked along the path, and behind the clearing seemed to vanish almost as if he had used magic to teleport them closer to his home the fastest.
