Frozen Delusions
Woot! First submission. Took me long enough to get the courage to do this.

I was running away tired of the fighting, tired of the pain of being the reason my parent always argued. I'm such an idiot sometimes. It's less than twenty degrees out here and I'm in skinny jeans and am old t-shirt. I'm trying to run to my friend Austin's house. I'd already called ahead the only problem was that there was about half a mile of forest between his house and mine. I had been running for only a few minutes when my legs suddenly stopped working and I fell face down onto the path that we had created between our houses. I thought "This is it? This is how I die?". I looked up to the snowy night sky as if to ask why it had to end this way when suddenly a light appeared in front of me. It told me that it could help. Then the light began to stretch around my cold body. I watched in awe as my body changed. My perk up a rose to the crownn of my head. My nose became triangular and slowly pushed outward from my face. My eyesight quickly became extremely good. My feet eame more digitigrade in shape. My hands grew pads on them. My physique became more feline. A long tail grew from my spine but the rush wasn't over there. I slowly felt the warmth of soft black fur cover ing my body from head to toe. After the light had entirely dissipated from my body, I stood up and began to run towards my friends house again, eager to show him my new and strange feline form.
