Slithering Sabotage

SNEAK PEEK**

Soona Mae's eyes were closed as she lay on a long recliner at the balcony of her hotel room. It overlooked the ocean and caught just enough of the sun at this time of day to bake her with its comforting heat. It made the otter girl's fur shine; both the natural ruddy brown on her face, tail and chest, and the beautifully painted blue, green, and white sea-foam spirals on her arms, legs and tail. She couldn't have been more comfy. Even though there were no peeping toms at this height, she was wearing a sea-shell bra and a tight thong whose colour matched.

The competition was going to start in a couple of hours, but Soona Mae had been lying down for the better part of an hour. Her competitors were probably all stressing out and overdoing their warmups. It was only going to make them stiffer, and more likely to pull something. All the otter girl needed was a quick heart-racing warmup just before the start of the race. Until then, conserving her energy was all she needed to do. It was that sort of mindset that ensured she'd win, handily. It wasn't overconfidence, it was just a fact. Everyone knew it. There was not going to be anything stopping her, barring some act of God.

It was the furthest thing from her mind.

What she didn't know was that one of her opponents was a bit more unscrupulous. He'd hired a certain serpentine saboteur.

Kaa was lurking just above the otter, his coils wrapped around the balcony above.

Getting this high along the exterior of the hotel had proven to be a daunting challenge for the old rock python, and he had done his best not to look down once he'd gotten up five stories. If he could sweat, he would have been slick with it by now.

He was exhausted by the time he reached the balcony for Room 808. He'd spent the better part of half an hour simply staring at the napping otter, trying to re-collect his energy before he slithered in.

She looked so succulent, bright and shiny like a sugary treat. Her hips were thick, juicy... and he could already imagine how gorgeous that smile would be when it was accompanied with rings of hypnotic colour.

At least he would be able to enjoy the latter part of that. Unfortunately, that snooty shark who promised him enough money to keep him fed on fine meat for half a year was very clear - Kaa was only supposed to keep her occupied until after the surfing competition that evening, so she'd lose by default. His coils and hypnosis would make her believe she simply overslept...

Kaa was very bad at delaying his gratification, but he knew he had to keep it together.

"Jussst thisss oncssse, Kaa," he chided himself. "Think of all the deluxssse five courssse meals you'll get to sssavour..."

Of course, his eyes were still fixated on Soona Mae's body, watching how her thick thighs shifted a little as she snored softly. She'd dozed off again...

Kaa's stomach was grumbling.

"P-perhapsss a sssample," he muttered. "One little lick won't hurt... but firssst, I will have to sssoften up that mind of hersss."

He dove his head down slowly, winding himself into a comfortable position just a foot or so above the reclining surfer girl.

Even getting closer to her, he got another whiff of her sea-breeze scent, and couldn't stop himself from smacking his lips. "Mmnh, p-perhapsss I might be able to tempt her for a meal later, but for now..."

He only closed his eyes for a second, and when they opened again, they were awash with rings of blue, cyan, and yellow, his hypnotic power radiating outwards.

"Look into my eyesss, my dear," he commanded.
