Chihaku of Zeal - Chapter 2 - The Curse of Cum
Chihaku went inside his house. Despite the home being large, there was very little technology. There was no computers, no phones, or a TV. Just a small stereo that plays religion tracks. It also plays radio, but it's rarely used. He put his book bag on the doorknob and went to the stereo. He thought his sister was out so he turned the radio on the rock channel. His soul felt smooth again hearing the guitars and drums playing. He sat down and closed his eyes while listening to the beat. The music suddenly turned off and Chihaku turned around to find his sister with her hand on the stereo. "You know that this kind of music is forbidden in here." She said with a cold look. Chihaku got up and bowed quickly. "I'm sorry Shizuki.." He said quickly. Shizuki was also a blue fox, but was about 24 years old. She didn't wear fashionable clothes. Instead she made her own. They were purple dresses with very long sleeves. "Something is troubling you Chi... What is wrong?" She asked concerned. Chihaku got up and hugged her. "It was the curse! The curse got me! I don't know how but it did and I-" Smack! Chihaku went on his knees from his sister's slap. When he looked at her she was, he saw her grabbing a blue and white book. "Stay on your knees! We must help your soul!" She ordered. Chihaku stayed where he was. "Now....Repeat after me brother.... There was a magical forbidden land in the air named Zeal." She said calmly. "Please Shi Shi, I didn't-" She shoved the page in his face hitting his snout. "There was a magical forbidden land called Zeal!" He said with a barrier in his voice. "And their first sin was corruption." She said. "Shi Shi please." Chihaku begged! "Say it!" She said smack the book at him harder. "No Shi Shi!" He said with fear. "First sin was corruption! First sin was corruption! First sin was corruption! First sin was corruption!" She kept chanting while shaking the book in his face. Chihaku gave in. "And their first sin was corruption, Shi Shi I was so scared, all the guys they laughed at me and forced the curse in my mouth and-" "And the Queen was weak! Say it. The Queen was weak. She was weak. Say it Zealot!" Said Shizuki with unknown emotion. "The Queen was weak!" He said praying for it to be over. Shizuki sighed. "Lavos erupted and sank the land of Zeal with a curse....Curse was the curse of cum!" She said with sadness and a shaky voice. "You should've told me more Shi Shi! You should've told me..." He said sadly. She gasped at him and went on here knees. "Oh Zeal!" She cried grabbing Chihaku's paws. "Help this Zealot see the errors and lies of his ways! Show him that if he became an Earthbounder, the curse of cum would've still come on him! He may have been tempted by the Earthbounders, and that he thought he could escape fate, but fate already came to his soul!" She said shaking both of the fox's paws together. Chihaku whimpered and groaned at the false prayer. "Oh c'mon Chihaku, I can see inside your soul and you're corrupted!" She said. Chihaku tried to break free but her grip was unknowingly super strong. "We'll meditate!" She said pulling him off the floor and sending him to the steel closet. "No Shi Shi!" He screamed while he tried to break free from her hand but it was as though it was bound to him! She threw his brother into the closet and closed the door before he got up. "Let Zeal heal your wounds." Shizuki whispered silently. "Shi Shi! Open up! Let me out! Fucking dammit!!!!" Yelled the fox as he was banging and kicking the steel door, but it was no use. Chihaku sighed and sat down. He grabbed a lighter from the table and lit some candles. He lit a green one on the top left, a white one at the bottom left, a red one on the bottom right, a blue one on the top right, and finally a purple candle at the top. He looked at the portrait of a floating continent and shelled a tear at it.
About 8 p.m. at night, Chihaku opened the door and saw Shizuki in the living room. She was making a black man's one-piece magic cloak. "Thank you..." Chihaku said silently but enough to make Shizuki stop her sewing machine. ".....You can go to bed now." She said without turning around to see her brother. She began sewing again as Chihaku gave her a small hug before going upstairs to his room. His room was wooden and only had a dresser, a bed, and a clock. There was a mirror at the wall above the dresser as he walked to the jar of water that was inside. He would always use it to make shampoo's with fruit since soap was usually scarce in the house. He looked at the soap with sadness seeing his yucky reflection inside it. Meanwhile Shizuki was about ready to add trimming to the cloak. She was singing her Zeal Religion songs. "The land of Zeal...Untouchable in the sky...." She singed happily while the sewing machine kept pattering at the outfit. Chihaku saw the water expand and his eyes turned blue as the water kept expanding and imploding faster and faster until the jar smashed into pieces and water ran down the dresser. Shizuki heard the jar smash and suddenly stopped sewing and looked up. "Chi Chi?" She called with concern. She ran up the stairs to Chihaku's room. She tried turning the knob but it wouldn't budge. "Chihaku, open the door." She said with a serious tone. "It's open." He said before she came in. She saw Chihaku on his knees before she looked around trying to find out what the noi and everything seemed normal. "What's going on?" She asked sternly. "Nothing Shi Shi... Just blessing myself before bed..." He said while still pretending to pray. "Oh...Very well... Good night." She said before closing the door. When Chihaku knew she left, he looked on the dresser. The jar was fixed but was cracked, and the water was inside it. Chihaku started to have doubts that he may have something that others cannot comprehend.
