In this alternate version of Sing 2, Ash decides there are 'other' ways to get rock star Clay Calloway to agree to attend their show in Red Shore City, the only question is can he move on with his memories of the past to do so?

With this pairing I can successfully say I made 'clash' fiction!

"Stuck for a Moment"

The sun was low in the sky as Ash sat on the porch step, strumming her guitar to Clay Calloway's "Stuck in a Moment"; one of her favorite pieces, and one of his most emotional songs from over fifteen years ago. From before the passing of his wife, he had proclaimed it was the last song Ruby had inspired, and no matter how hard he tried, Clay still ended up falling victim to it. She regarded him as he had stepped out onto the porch; an older, but still strapping lion with a white head of hair sitting down next to her, sipping tea as she played. She sang softly, as though he were part of her audience. In fact, he was her audience. And he needed to hear the lyrics.

The pair were alone now; Buster had headed back to Red Shore City a few hours ago, but Ash remained. She needed to convince him there was more to life by moving on, he'd been so reclusive for so long though she was unsure if he would actually heed her advice. As the song came to an end she sat her guitar aside and the two sat quietly for a little bit, watching the sun slowly fading back behind the horizon. Soon the evening turned into night and the stars began to dot the skies above them. Ash realized why he liked it out here; it was such a beautiful, cloudless night and a cool breeze felt nice as it washed over them. "So, have you considered--"

"Have you considered going home and leaving me alone?" Clay cut Ash off; his gruff voice a mere shadow of his former glory. His crystal blue eyes looking into her more water colored ones. "Because you ain't gonna get me to some dumb show in Red Shore."

Ash sighed, but she wasn't deterred. "But you don't understand the world you've left behind, there are so many fans still devoted to your music and--"

"I've already told you. I'm. Not. Interested." Clay said sternly, but unlike before he didn't get up to leave. He simply sat back and stared out into the night.

"Well, I'm definitely interested in finishing my sentences once in a while." Ash said. "Listen, it's not just the audience that would be interested in hearing you make a comeback. I've been a fan of yours ever since I was a little kid, and when Buster decided to come out to find you, I was right by his side because...well, because I wanted to meet the legend himself."

Clay's stare didn't break, he still looked off into the night. She followed his gaze, but couldn't find what he was looking at, and she assumed simply that he was looking at something she couldn't perceive. "I'm not a legend anymore." He said solemnly. "When Ruby left me--a--a part of me died...a part of me that I'm never going to find again."

"Ruby didn't leave you, Clay." Ash said, putting a hand on his. "She died...it wasn't something you could control. You can't spend the rest of your life thinking that it was your fault. She would want you to move on."

WIth a growl, Clay pulled his hand away. "You don't know my Ruby." He said, his temper barely managing to bubble below the surface. "She--she was my everything." He added, his eyes closing.

"Nothing will ever replace her. But do you think this is what she wanted? For you to hide your talent away from the world? To squander your own gift? No, she'd want you to keep going and share it with the world."

"You're just wanting me to agree to go to your damn show!" Clay snapped angrily. "Why else would anyone even care if it wasn't to get something they want?"

Ash scoffed. "Fine. Don't come to our show! Like I care, you're probably too rotten and bitter of an old man to even appreciate an opportunity like that!"

"Oh, okay so it's reverse psychology then." Clay replied. "Well we can't all be famous rock stars--yeah. I caught your act on the news. Been almost a year hasn't it? And where's it gotten you?"

"Hey, you don't get to judge me by my successes or failures. I think you need to work on that yourself."

"I don't have any failures...only regrets."

The sudden softness in his tone made Ash frown; this man has been in so much pain for so long, would it even be possible for him to let go. "One day you'll have another regret." She said. "A regret that you didn't step forward when you had a chance to--"

"Bahhh you're almost as annoying as that damn koala." He snarled. "I'm going to bed. You can stay here tonight if you want to, but I really urge you to get your prickly ass back on that highway before you miss your show." He stood up, exhaled sharply and stormed through the screen door into the house.

Ash sat outside for some time after that, looking at the sky and enjoying the ocean of stars overhead. She could hear Clay moving around in the house, probably his nightly motions before bed. Eventually she reached for her phone and dialed out a familiar number.

"Hello?" Buster's voice responded on the other end.

"Hey, Mr. Moon." Ash replied, sounding somewhat dejected. "So far nothing."

"It's okay, I mean if we can't get him to agree, I guess we're going to have to put on the show without him."

"You mean the show we've risked to put on, the one you staked your reputation and word on having Calloway as a part of it? Is that the show you mean?"

There was a long pause before Buster finally replied. "Yes...that show."

"Look, I know things are looking a little bleak now. But he's been hurting for way too long without anyone's understanding. It's no wonder he became a recluse."

"I don't want you risking anything, Ash. If you can't convince him--"

"I know. I know." Ash said. "I'll give it tonight, he's letting me stay. If I can't convince him, I'll need to get a ride back to town anyway. Maybe something will spark. I mean he's been here for fifteen years by himself, maybe--" Suddenly a thought of inspiration hit her. "Maybe I can do something...I'll give you a call back tomorrow, Moon. I need to go talk to him."

"Alright. Good luck, Ash."

Of course! It was so simple, Clay has been out of touch with society for so long, he probably just needed someone to talk to him, on his own level. Just one person to another, that could be the best way to soften that tough exterior he'd built up over the years. She opened the door to the house and locked it behind her.

"Calloway? Are you still up?" She called up the stairs before starting up them.

The stairs were a half-spiral case of steps that led up to the second floor; several photographs that caught Ash's attention were a good detailed view of his past, including his wife, Ruby standing beside him in most pictures. One particular image that caught Ash's eye slowed her to take a closer look. This one was a picture of Ruby in a wheelchair being pushed by Clay. The two were clearly still in love in this photo which was what; perhaps three maybe four months before she died? She picked up the photo and touched Ruby with the tips of her fingers. "I wish you could give me some inspiration right about now." She said to herself. She heard a clatter upstairs coming from Clay's room. "Clay?" She asked aloud, but received no response. She continued up the steps until she reached the landing; Clay's room was near the end of the hall, the door was opened ever so slightly; a long sliver of light could be seen stretching down the hallway and she started toward it. As she reached the door, curiosity had gotten the better of her and Ash peeked in through the small crack.

Clay was completely naked; a sight that prompted Ash to cover her mouth to keep from gasping, he must have just gotten out of the shower. His fur was fluffed up from drying off with a towel, but she could make out that he was still a rather fit lion man. While fairly "flat" chested compared to more muscular men with pectoral muscles and washboard abs, he was more squarish in shape. His lean torso almost in line with the size of his chest; and just like his mane, the hair pouring down over his chest was a stark white contrast to his more tan outer fur. His base fur still had bits of gray littered in, but most of it was unseen through the desert of the rest. She watched intently as he dried his lower half with a towel and moved it to the side, leaving nothing to the imagination. He was pretty well endowed, while as a lion she wouldn't have expected less, she didn't know exactly what to expect. She'd only ever been with her ex boyfriend Lance before, and proportion-wise she found it laughable.

Clay moved the towel to his back and began to rub it somewhat vertically between his shoulder blades, moving from side to side to make sure every inch of his fur received the drying treatment. His hips, his legs, even his ass still looked pretty solid, even for a musician in his 60s. She watched him walk over to the mirror, listening in closely, she could even hear him humming to himself as he examined his reflection, picked a few of the grayer hairs from his face and admired himself briefly before pick up a cushy-looking dark purple robe and placing it onto the bed. Also picking up a pair of boxer shorts, he continued to hum softly as he stepped into them one foot at a time and pulled them up, resting the edge of the waistband against the base of his tail. They were a cute pair of shorts; one of those classic white pairs with little hearts printed across them. But there wasn't much more to look at, as he reached to his bed and pulled on his robe and tied them up. Dragging back to blanket on his bed he was halfway through sitting down when...

*creak*

Ash went dead still, the floorboard under her foot had made a sound, which caused Clay to pause what he was doing to look up and listen. "You out there, porcupine?" He asked sharply as he started to stand up again.

"Ohnoohnoohno!" Ash's mind screamed as she quickly bounced over the floorboard and dashed down the hallway toward the spare bedroom. She bolted in and closed the door behind her, turning on the light as she jumped into her bed and grabbed a magazine from her bag, settling into position just as Clay opened the door and spotted her.

There was a long pause as the two looked at each other. "Uhm--" Clay cleared his throat with a slight cough. "So I see you decided to stay the night." He said.

"Yeah, well. It's kind of hard to go anywhere when I don't have a ride." She said. "I hope you don't mind."

"Matter of fact, I do mind." Clay responded crossing his arms in frustration. "But I guess since you're already here it'd be inhospitable of me to throw you out."

"Hate to twist your arm." Ash said with a little attitude in her voice.

Clay growled in frustration, but breathed out a sigh. "Just don't keep me up. Alright? I need you gone first thing in the morning."

"That's what you said to me and Moon last night."

"And this time, I mean it. Nobody takes my hospitality for granted."

"Some hospitality, you almost killed us."

Clay seemed to puff up for a moment, his fur size making him seem almost twice his width, Ash could swear he was about to pop, but instead he slammed the door shut and stormed down the hallway back to his bedroom. Ash breathed out a sigh of relief as she flattened herself out and relaxed. "That was close. Okay, Ash no more peeping tom for you girl." She looked up at the ceiling and stared at the fan slowly rotating over her head. "Still, he is kind of beefy for an old lion, and he's just as hot as I remember him..." She listened for his door to latch closed and she laid back on the bed. "If only..." She said to herself as she drew her hand down her stomach dreamily. She imagined his large body dominating hers, making her his. She wasn't generally into older men but--Clay Calloway...

She slipped her hand down below her waistline and into her pants, she was feeling wet to the touch already as her fingers probed and pressured her front. Biting her lip, she used her other hand to unfasten her jeans and opened them she had worn a typical pair of cotton panties and she was glad she did, it helped to wick up a lot of moisture quickly, but she still wanted more. She closed her eyes and could see him over her, sliding his cock deep into her body. The thought made her shiver as her left hand slowly worked up her abdomen toward her chest, she lifted her blouse until her breasts were exposed, and slipped far enough out of her jeans so that most of her hips and butt were touching the cool bed sheet under her. She curled her lips in slightly, licking them with her tongue as she began to press herself deeper she rested her hand on her breast, pretending he was there. She wanted him, and even grasping herself on the outside of her underwear was enough to make her breathe harder, faster. She closed her eyes and turned her head, she could feel his breath on her neck, she could feel his tongue rough against the side of it now. Touching her, running his thumbs along her nipples, squeezing her gently and fucking her. Her eyes rolled back and she began to explore her fingers even deeper, she slipped back the cotton and probed her fingers around the outside of her pussy, trailing them from one end to the other as her breathing sped up. She could barely control her moaning she exhaled sharply and moved her finger from her breasts to her mouth and slightly bit down on the knuckle as she reached the edge of her climax and over.

She trembled softly, letting her body go as she controlled her cries. The climax only lasted for a few moments, but it felt like it went on for several minutes, and eventually, she was able to regain control of herself. Breathing softly, she slowly relaxed her body and laid there for a moment to catch her breath. She was still feeling hot though, she needed to cool herself down, and fast. She remembered that Clay had a pool downstairs in the backyard, maybe she could borrow it for a few minutes, maybe it would help clean herself up. She knew if she stayed like this the scent would linger, and the lion would definitely be able to pick up on that. Panic began to set in, about what she'd done and how a man protective of his wife's legacy could act knowing what she'd done. She sat up and re-dressed herself again. She cracked open her door a little bit and saw that Clay's bedroom light was off, his door was closed now. This would be the perfect time.

Ash crept from the bedroom and quietly descended the staircase to the first floor. She made her way through the living room, into the kitchen and out the door into the back. Clay's pool wasn't enclosed in any sort of screen, but it was a nice, olympic sized pool directly in a concrete barrier he'd installed in the ground out back of his house. This would be the perfect place for her to clean up, to cool down and to wait for the morning to come. She just had to make sure to stay quiet...

Clay had been lying in bed when he heard Ash's door open and then close again. A simple light over his bed kept him from having to turn on the overhead light when he would lay awake and read. Taking a pair of reading glasses off his eyes, he waited and listened. Ash likely decided to give up on him and take off for the night. It suited him just fine, he'd just as soon have all his teeth ripped out of his face than to put up with the idea of performing again. While it was true that Ruby wouldn't have wanted this for him, he just couldn't take it upon himself to move on... not after what they'd been through.

A few moments later, through his cracked window, he could hear the sound of someone splashing in his pool. "Oh, she wouldn't..." He uttered as he got up from his bed and made his way over to the window. Looking down, he could see her seated by the pool, and from the combination of the pool lighting and the moonlight from above, he could see she was dressed in nothing but a long shirt that dangled down off her shoulder. Her leg was in the water as she was slowly swirling it in the pool. He watched as she lifted her shirt up over her head and off, leaving herself completely exposed to him.

At first, Clay almost ducked out of sight. But he realized she probably wouldn't be able to see him at this angle. He watched as she slowly lowered her naked body into the water and began to swim. Her slender, feminine body perfectly silhouetted against the artificial lighting below. His mouth hung open for a minute as he watched her swim, old engines revving to life in his mind as he felt himself getting aroused at her appearance. Her ample breasts like buoys in the cool blue water. He hadn't felt like this since-- "No..." He uttered to himself, forcing himself to look away. "I-I can't..." He sat conflicted for a few minutes before gazing out at her again. "Who am I kidding? I may be a lot of things, but I'm still a man..." He uttered. "Oh...what am I thinking?" He placed his palm to his face and breathed slowly, trying to ignore the persistent pressure against his underwear and robe.

As he seated himself by the window, he watched her and slowly unfastened his robe. Reaching down, he pulled back on his shaft a little bit, feeling every ounce of his manhood flush and swell to his touch. He leaned back and groaned, growling softly as he stroked himself, he imagined her touching him, the smell of her perfume the taste of her lips as he penetrated her. His tail flicked slightly as he thought of laying upon her and kissing her, his hands caressing her hips, her thighs, her breasts. He wanted to feel her, he tightened his grip slightly with each slow motion of his hand. He was already dripping precum now, making a mess on his chair as he spread his legs some and slowed his strokes. He'd gone without release for so long now that to touch her, to make love to her, it was more than enough. His balls were hurting now, aching for a release and as he rested his head back he let out a roar of satisfaction, suddenly sending loads of ejaculate up against his stomach and into his chest fur. Even a jet splashed against his cheek, but he casually ignored it, unloading several more generous portions before his body finally couldn't take it anymore and he released himself, letting his cock finish its firehose of cum and leaving a hefty puddle across the floor in front of him. He stared at it for a minute and put a hand behind his head. He had forgotten how good it felt, and how much he needed that release.

Downstairs, Ash had heard the lion's roar and looked up to see his shape move away from the window. At first, she was shocked and stunned at what it sounded like. The fact that he could--she paused at the edge of the pool. "Hold on, if...if I could somehow help him to move on, maybe we could get him into the show after all!"

***

It was still before sunrise when Ash heard Clay moving around in the house again. She listened as he opened his door and walked past her own, yawning as he walked down the stairs toward the kitchen. She too got up and put on her long shirt, leaving her underwear and pants behind as she stepped out of her room and crept down the stairs after him. As she approached the living room, she spotted him by the front window reading from a newspaper. He regarded her with a cursory glance and his eyes lingered on her.

"Ain't you a little underdressed for hitting the road?" He asked.

"Shouldn't you be sleeping until noon, old timer?" Ash teased back. "Still not interested in coming with?"

"Hmmph." Clay grunted, flicking his papers out to continue reading. "Not in the slightest." He responded.

Ash paused in the doorway that led into the hall and watched him for a minute. "Look, I know you say you don't want to move on..."

"Watch it, porcupine."

"But didn't last night prove that you had more to live for than--well, living in the past?"

Clay slowly lowered the paper, his blue eyes staring into hers from across the room. "What are you talking about?"

"I know you were watching me, Calloway." Ash said as she approached him slowly. "And I could hear you were enjoying yourself."

"I don't know what you heard." Clay said, bringing his paper back up. "But it isn't what you're thinking."

Slowly, Ash rested her fingers atop the newspaper and lowered it to look into his eyes again. "I think it is." She said softly before leaning in and kissing him.

At first Clay tried to wrestle Ash away from him, his kiss was more tight lipped than she'd expected, but after a few seconds, he let the newspaper fall to the floor and he wrapped his arms around Ash's shoulders, bringing her into a deep, passionate kiss. Ash moved forward slightly and seated herself on Clay's knees, her bare legs touching his underneath the opening of his robe. Their tongues mingled and she took a moment to rung hers along the innerwalls of his teeth as she put her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply.

Clay's fingers clutched at her long t-shirt and slowly, they slid along the length of it until reaching where he could feel bare skin. He was definitely getting hard from this, and unlike last night he didn't really have any underwear to keep it hidden. She slid her hands into the front of his robes and felt down his solid figure, from his underarms, slowly down to his hips. She released his lips and leaned in to kiss his neck as her hands wandered further until she was able to cup his manhood in her hands. It was fully erect, and twitching with excitement; she looked at him and he averted his gaze, he seemed embarrassed at what she found, but she gave his chin a kiss of assurance and slowly made her way downward. He tried in vain to stop her as she let his meat fall from within his robe and she pulled his robe's flaps back to go down on him.

She felt an immediate shudder from the lion, whose breath fluttered and she slowly brought her lips down his length. She could feel every pulse of his veins against her lips, the slightest, salty taste of his precum against her tongue as she tasted him. He was even thicker aroused than she'd expected and she could barely manage to swallow it without holding her breath. She went slowly to his hilt, swallowed and finished the length before slowly working her way back up to the top as Clay leaned back in his chair, helpless to stop her from exploring every erect inch. As she came up again, she dragged her tongue along his underside, feeling the cock flex and jerk back as she gazed into his eyes and he looked fondly back at her. She went down again, using one of her hands to fondle the old lion's balls, which felt impressively tight to her. She wanted him and he obviously wanted her in return.

Slowly, methodically for several minutes, she worked on him, growing a little faster, and faster with each time she came back up for air until eventually his hand on her cheek stopped her and he helped her to rise again before giving her another passionate kiss. He then stood, letting his robes fall to the floor as he lifted her into the air effortlessly and he made the climb up the stairs and to his bedroom without faltering once, as they entered the bedroom, Clay lowered Ash onto the bed and began to kiss down her body, helping her to pull her shirt off and using his tongue on her nipples as he spent an ample amount of time kissing and squeezing her breasts, inhaling her scent and suckling on them before going even lower. Ash could feel his tongue against her clit, and she felt him press in with it which made her gasp in surprise. She put her hands down on his mane, somewhere deep inside she wanted to drown him, to suffocate him inside of her. He only countered it by pushing his tongue in deep, purring loudly as he lapped his tongue over her pink and pressing in deeper again, and again. The roughness of the cat's tongue was enough to make Ash's eyes roll back and still, his hands explored her body at the same time. The breadth of his shoulders helped her to keep her legs spread as he dipped his tongue again and again, lapping from end to end and then using his fingers to spread her apart for the deeper flicks of it. Ash had already climaxed once during this, and the increased purrs from the lion told her that he already knew that. As he came up for air again, she kissed him once again, this time she wrapped her leg around his own and twisted them so she could sit on top. As big as he was, she didn't want to be smothered by his massive body. Instead, she rose and fell along his hips, accentuating her breasts for him as he continued to caress her body.

Ash sat back and could feel the rod pressing at her, sliding along the cleft of her ass; wet and ready. That was when she made her move; she moved back and lifted her hips, placing his thick lionhood under her. She moaned with anticipation before slowly lowering herself onto him. Clay looked like he was straight out of being a virgin, his face was flushed and he could barely control himself, as she slowly rested on top of him, he took a bit more control, grasping her hips and pulling her down onto himself before working into a slow rhythm of raising and lowering her onto him over and over again. Soon she took to the thrusts herself as she adjusted to his girth and began to rest her hands on his chest as well. She leaned back a few times, feeling his claws working up over her body and her breasts before slowly bringing them back down to her hips again. Their bodies merged simultaneously now, she lowered her lips down to his, following his muscled arms back toward his wrists and holding them behind his head slightly as she kissed him. He was so thick it was harder and harder to adjust to him from this pose. Eventually, he took this hint and with a singular move, he rolled her onto her back and he rested above her, slightly leaning on one knee as he raised her body up, he placed his palm onto her pelvis and helped to push her body down as he drove himself in deeper and deeper. Ash moaned and cried out again, climaxing for now the third time and slicking Clay's entry even more. Clay dragged his free claw gently over her belly, he'd built up a sweat and his hands were shaking. This pose went on for a good three minutes more until--

"NNNHHH!!! Ahh!" Clay let out a loud, mighty lion's roar as he began to cum hard and deep into the porcupine. She was resting mostly on her shoulders at this time and she could feel the sudden gush of seed flooding into her body. Clay's eyes had tightened closed as he grunted with such a powerful, masculine release.

Soon, he looked down at her with the gentlest eyes that she'd seen during their entire visit and he climbed into the bed with her, resting her under his arm against his still-rapid beating heart. "I-I haven't felt like that in--ages..." He admitted, still short of breath.

Ash smiled. "Careful, old timer, I don't want to give you a heart attack or anything..." She replied.

Clay chuckled softly. "Sure these needles aren't gonna acupuncture me?" He asked.

"Nah. I'm not agitated enough for that." She said. "But, I'm glad I could help you out."

He rested his head on his hand and placed his nose at her neck. "All this to get me in your show, huh?"

"That? No." Ash admitted. "I...just wanted to help. Sometimes someone needs a push to move on...and trust me, I thought those were some really nice...pushes."

Clay chuckled and clutched Ash tighter. "Yes. They were. And...yes...if you guys really need me that badly, I think I can work some time in my busy schedule to help you out with your show."

"R-Really? That'd be great!"

He grumbled playfully and hugged her. "Anything for a fan."
