Uh oh plant

Chapter 5 - Operation Jungle Flower

"Mina... I'm so bored!!! Can you at least scratch my ears some more?"

"We're almost there and no, I have given you like ten scratches already."

"Grr... Mina, you will pet me!"

"Nope, your mind control won't work when I have my necklace on."

"Then I'll take it off!"

"No!"

Mina and Sola are on their first mission together going somewhere to the Southwest of the Earth to investigate several mysterious disappearance reports of villagers being dragged into the jungle by some unknown entity and were never found again.

"Ugh... there's only green outside! Mina, when are we gonna arrive!?"

"Calm down, we're almost at the temporary base."

After a few more minutes of flying, Mina and Sola's helicopter finally arrive at their hidden jungle base where they would start their investigation for the missing beasts and what made them disappear.

"Finally, I can stretch my legs again!"

"Well get moving and follow me! We have to move out as soon as possible before anybody else in the jungle disappears."

"What? But we had only just arrived!"

"Come on, move it!"

The two make their way to a nearby tent where a tall lion had been waiting for their arrival.

"Kept you waiting, huh?"

"Yes, you did, Mina, you were a day late for this assignment and while you weren't here, four more villagers have gone missing after going into the jungle to harvest fruits for their village. I expect you to find them and solve their disappearance by the end of the day!"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever Bri."

"It's Brian! Why do you have to act so unprofessional in such an urgent situation like this?"

"Because I can confidently say that we'll get it done in half a day."

"We?"

"Oh yeah, I guess I haven't introduced you to my third partner. Brian, this is Sola, a slime from outer space that my brother's servant found in the sea and entrusted me with as he could not keep two slimes fed at the same time."

"What? Slimes? And from outer space? With the same slimes serving your civilian brother? What the hell have you been up to in the Eastern region?"

"Nothing much, just keeping my brother safe from harm. Sola, you should say hi to my colleague here."

"Hello!"

"So this is a slime? She looks very shiny for a dragon without wings, but I don't see anything that resembles a slime."

"Oh so you don't believe me?"

"Well, not that I don't believe you but it's just that it's hard to believe you."

"Sola, show him that you aren't a fake."

"Of course!"

To prove to Brian that she was in fact, a slime, Sola transforms herself into a copy of Mina right before his eyes.

"That really doesn't really prove anything... Are you sure you aren't just playing tricks with me, Luna?"

"What? No, this isn't Luna. She's busy tending to an assignment of her own. Sola, try something more convincing."

Seeing that shapeshifting did not work, Sola uses a simpler method of shrinking back into her small slime ball form.

"Gah! So it really is a slime! Does it also eat people and you know... their fluids?"

"Yeah, but she can eat normal food too."

"So... why a slime as your third partner?"

"Just watch..."

Mina picks up Sola and puts her on her head with Sola slowly melting onto her body and forming their very high quality, resistance, and maybe even magical tactical uniform.

"Armor formation? Now I can see why you have a slime as one of your new partners. But is that all she can do?"

Sola separates from Mina and returns back to her original form.

"Ah! I can do lots of other things too!"

"Ah! Sola, you don't have to show it off all at once or we'll take too long! Brian, we'll get going now. I'll just hand you the report for my observations on Sola if you want to know more about what she's capable of."

"Alright, there's a spare jeep in the garage near the gate. Take it and go to the village where the people had been disappearing and ask the locals for any clues."

The two leave the tent and head over to the garage where their jeep is waiting which they get on and drive out of the compound and make their way to the local village.

"Mina, why do we have to use vehicles to go to places when I can just fly you over to them?"

"First of all, that's a waste of power and second, it's too inconspicuous to be flying around."

"It's not a waste! And I can turn myself invisible since Nova taught me how to!"

"Whatever, I like being on the ground more."

"Hmph!"

Sola turns invisible after giving a stubborn look to Mina as she continues driving to their destination. After an hour of driving, they finally make their way to the nearby village where they get off to look for hints with a few locals greeting them.

"Hello soldier from the outpost! Are you here to help us find our people?"

"Yeah, and we're not soldiers, we're uh... archeologists, but I can't blame you with the use of all of this equipment. We're sorry for renovating a bit of land some ways away from your town as we didn't know if it was owned by your village."

"It's alright, miss, as long as you're here to help, we're glad to share some of our land with you."

After talking with the locals for a bit, the town head finally makes their way to Mina to talk more about the disappearance of their people.

"You must be the mayor of this village, do you have at least any idea how your people could have disappeared?"

"I'm sorry, but that question has still gone unanswered until now, but the least I could do for you is to give you a complete map of our town including secret local spots and the direction of where the missing people had gone before vanishing."

The mayor hands Mina a small map of the village and the surrounding area with their temporary base being marked with blue while a small part of the jungle in the map had been encircled with red.

"Alright thank you for this map, we'll inform you for any information as soon as possible."

"Oh and another thing, there had been sightings of a new fruit at the same time the disappearance happened so these fruits might correlate to the disappearances. We had already gathered some without anyone disappearing when they first popped up, but when time went on it was like something had been enraged from the picking of those fruits"

Mina and Sola say their goodbyes to the village and make their way to the marked spot on the map.

"Huh, I wonder how delicious these mysterious fruits are!"

"Maybe the fruits had been controlling anyone who ate it, but that wouldn't make sense since the mayor said they tasted fine and managed to harvest some before the disappearances happened. Could there be something growing these fruits on purpose?"

"I don't know, but I can't wait to taste it!"

After a few more hours of driving, they arrive at the marked spot where a few guards had been standing watch to prevent anyone from exploring any further and getting lost.

"Hey! Civilians aren't allowed near this part of the jungle! Turn around immediately!"

"What civilians?"

"Oh! I'm so sorry Professor Mina, I'll open the gate for you right away!"

The guard quickly radios his partner to open the gate to their small outpost before the jungle where they leave their jeep to explore on foot.

"Well we can't drive any further than this. It's a good thing they managed to secure this place before anyone else got lost but how could four extra people go missing if they did?"

"Someone probably tried to rescue their loved ones and trespassed. If you ever go missing, just know that I'll do anything to find you!"

"Even kill people?"

"Anything!"

"Wow, what undying loyalty."

The two then explore the overgrown jungle, making their way across multiple streams and viny paths with Mina hacking away at any overgrowth in their way using Sola's energy knife until they eventually spot one of the new fruits that had mysteriously grown around the area.

"Ooh! Mina! Look! I think that's the fruit we're looking for!" Sola points at a tall tree with its height easily reaching more than 200 feet tall, but with its fruits only bearing at a height quarter of that.

"That's weird... why do the fruits hang so low while the tree is so tall?" Mina tries to climb the tree to pick the fruit but Sola floats her up to it instead.

"Ah! Oh, thanks Sola."

"No problem!"

Mina holsters her knife and tries to pluck the decently sized fruit with her hands, but when she tried to pull it out, it did not tear a single bit, so she tried to reach for her knife on her hip but couldn't take her hands off of the fruit.

"Uh... Sola, I think there's something very wrong with this fruit!"

"What is it?"

Mina pulls even harder on the fruit, but it seems like she had fallen right into its trap, like a fish that had bit on to a fisherman's bait and was subsequently dragged down into the ground where multiple vines entangled her and buried her underground.

"Mina!"

The vines pull Mina underground with Sola barely being able to reach her hand to catch her before she was dragged away.

"Uh oh! What am I gonna do!"

Sola remembers that she had given Mina her mark of servitude and uses it to concentrate on her whereabouts.

"Underground... one kilometer... two kilometers... five kilometers? Ten kilometers?! It's so deep!"

The vines had dragged Mina deep into the earth, through mud and dirt and into an underground cave where all the missing villagers had been kept.

"Gasp! What the hell is happening here?!"

The sight that had laid before Mina was frightening indeed. All the missing villagers, male and female, had been tied up by the vines and were all being sucked for their fluids with a giant glowing pink flower in the middle of the cave which illuminate the cave along with the vines around the area glowing a bright blue color.

"What a vile plant! Kidnapping beasts using fruits and bringing them underground! What caused it to mutate this way?"

The fruit finally detaches from Mina's hands with the vines bringing her closer to the giant flower.

"Shit! No! What the hell is it gonna do to me!"

The petals of the flower open up, revealing several stamens that glow with a mesmerizing pattern, seemingly trying to control Mina, but fails due to her special necklace.

"Hah! Your tricks wont work on me!"

Seeing that controlling this cat had failed, the flower then makes the vines secrete some kind of liquid that completely melted Mina's clothes, but left her body completely intact.

"What the- Don't tell me it's going to-"

The vines then drop Mina into the flower with the stamen binding her arms and legs.

"No! You can't do this to me!"

Mina tries to resist, but after a while, her body slowly becomes weaker as if the liquid that melted her clothes earlier had some sort of anesthetic effect that made her body slower. After losing all of her strength, all Mina could do was wait for whatever the flower was about to do to her.

"Damn... is this how my life will end? Sucked dry and forever forgotten underground? Where the hell did Sola run off too..."

The vines come back and hold Mina in the air with the flower growing three yellow tentacles with mouths that latch onto her nipples and mouth which start to suck on her while the tentacle on her mouth feeds her sweet juice to keep her fed and to slowly drug her to submission.

"No... this isn't a place... to be aroused!"

The stamen wraps around her limbs while the vines let go and tend to other business like keeping the other trapped beasts fed. The flower places Mina inside of it with its petals closing up like a hungry monster that had just devoured its prey.

"Hah... it's so good like Sola... but... it just sees me as food... I need to escape!"

Mina gathers her last remaining strength to try and escape from the flower, but the flower notices it and binds her even tighter.

"Ahhhh... need to stay... sane..."

The juice that the flower had been feeding Mina was slowly eating away at her conscience to reduce her to nothing more than a brainless source of food. Seeing that Mina was tougher and had not broken yet like the other beasts that had been trapped before her, the flower chooses Mina as its mate and picks her up and sends another tentacle her way, this time it was thicker than the rest and jams itself into her vagina.

"Ack! What the hell!"

The tentacle begins to pump its seeds into her so that she could make plant cat hybrids that would take over the world once the end of its lifespan had been reached. The insertion of its seeds was not painful at all, in fact, it was as pleasurable as real sex, but would never compare to the more optimized play of Sola. After filling Mina up, the flower drops Mina into one of its petals so that its new queen could be kept comfortable while developing their children.

"I can't... I don't want this..."

Mina tries to crawl away from the flower's petals, but the flower closes up, but stays open just enough that Mina could only climb up to escape but couldn't do so due to her weakened state.

"Sola... save me from this hell... please..."

But Mina's weak plea for help could not be heard and was tied up again by the flower and sucked for all of her fluids. But right before another hour of Mina's hell could start, the underground cave suddenly shakes with a violent tremor.

"Mmmph... I hope this earthquake... kills all of us..."

But the shaking was not a natural disturbance, nor was it made by the plant or its vines from dragging another unsuspecting victim into its viny hell, but it was Sola who had been blasting through the earth and deep underground using her matter vaporizing grenade launcher.

"I finally made it!"

Feeling an intruder arrive at its lair, the flower orders its vines to subdue Sola but she quickly summons one of her machine guns to blast the vines to shreds.

"Huh... What's that sound?"

The flower then orders smaller, faster vines to now kill and impale Sola instead, but she does not dodge it. Feeling that the intruder had been skewered the plant brings Sola closer to it who was actually just playing dead and when she had finally gotten close, Sola stops acting and eats away at the vines using her own slime.

"Mina! I've come to save you!"

Sola tries to cut through the petals of the flower, but was swiftly thrown away by a vine that had wrapped around her leg. Seeing that its mate was being threatened, the flower completely shrinks and wraps around Mina, forming itself into a flowery cat creature with Mina as its vessel for magic.

"Huh? Oh no! Mina is being controlled!"

Sola quickly gets up from the rubble and rushes toward the plant cat hybrid which ordered more vines to try and stop her, but she quickly dispatches them using her guns.

"Mina! Don't worry, I'll save you from this weird flower!"

Mina had been put to sleep by the plant, so that it could have full control of her magic powers, and by using her body, the flower summons a blue petal from its hand which forms a sword to defend itself with against Sola. Sola quickly closes in with her knife in hand, ready to cut Mina free from the plant, but did not expect for it to be the one to attack first and due to not having any real fighting experience aside from Nova's memories. And so Sola was not ready for the attack and was cut in half. But being cut in half seemed to have gone towards Sola's favor as with two pieces separated, it was now a lot easier to perform Sola's real attack which was to envelop Mina and eat the plant from the inside.

"Aha! I got you now!"

Sola's upper and lower body melts back into a puddle of slime which quickly wraps over the flower cat hybrid to fight for control.

"No! You can't ruin my generations of work!"

"It's over for you, naughty flower!"

Sola's slime easily eats away the flower, freeing Mina from its control while also inheriting its powers of plant control.

"Ough... what happened..."

"Mina! Are you alright?"

"Ah... Sola... there's something wrong with me..."

Mina rubs her stomach to see that it had grown quite a bit and her insides had already developed a flower cat hybrid inside of her.

"Ah! What is this?"

Sola holds her hand over Mina's pregnant stomach to examine it.

"I can still feel the evil power of the flower inside of you!"

"We need... to get it out..."

"Hmm... Ah! I know how!"

Sola remembers that she too had the power of Luna's blue flames and uses her own yellow flames to incinerate the foreign body inside of Mina and uses her slime to restructure Mina's body back to normal.

"There we go! No more evil flowers on my watch!"

"Gah! It's gone! Where did it go?"

"I took care of the thing inside of you!"

"It felt a bit warm... am I really going to be okay?"

"Looks like it to me!"

Seeing that their old leader had been defeated and consumed, the plant life around the cave began to talk directly to Sola who had inherited plant manipulation powers from the flower.

"Huh? Oh, what should you guys do next? Well I guess you can let go of these villagers now since I don't want to get nutrients from rude and improper methods."

"Who are you talking to?"

"Oh! These little guys!"

The vines from before approach Sola's hand to have an intimate touch with their new leader.

"After freeing them, what should you do? Well, you don't have to serve me, you can just live your life as a normal plant like eating the sun and drinking rainwater!"

"Err... weird..."

"Oh, Mina I forgot to tell you, they told me that they were very sorry for what they did to you under that creepy flower's rule."

"Oh, uh... it's no problem I guess."

The vines free the trapped villagers and they all slowly wake up, confused and enfeebled from how long they had been tied to the walls of the cave.

"Uh oh, Sola, you shouldn't have woken them up all at once. It's going to be very hard to explain what happened to them."

"Alright then I'll put them all to sleep!"

"Wait! Don't do that either!"

Sola instantly put at least 60 of the freed villagers all to sleep with very little effort.

"Alright little friends, help me get the villagers back up to the surface."

The vines heed to Sola's request, carrying all of the unconscious villagers back to the surface while Sola carries Mina herself.

"Ah shit... my phone and clothes were melted while I was inside that flower."

"Don't worry Mina! I can make you clothes and let you use my phone!"

"You have a phone?"

After making new clothes for Mina using her slime, Sola materializes her phone using her powers.

"Since when did you use a phone? It looks like a new model too!"

"Oh, I copied Kitt's phone just as we left, but the only thing I managed to copy was phone calls and contacts."

Using Sola's phone, Mina calls Kitt who then calls Max who then calls Brian to ask for help in sheltering the missing villagers.

"Well you should learn how to copy all the features of a phone when we're back home so you can keep yourself occupied using mobile games."

"I wanted to copy that from Kitt's phone, but I didn't have enough time to do so."

After an hour, Brian and the rest of the archeological group arrive to help the villagers back to their town and afterwards back at the temporary camp, Brian congratulates Mina for her work.

"Wow, you really did it in half a day!"

"See? Like I told you, Sola here is capable of miracles like that."

"Oh, Mr. Brian! Did you know that Mina fell for a trap and I had to rescue her from getting perpetually sucked for her fluids and save her from conceiving an evil cat flower hybrid inside of her?"

"Hey! Don't tell that to him!"

"Huh? Mina, are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine, don't trust anything Sola says."

"I'm telling the truth! That's it, I'm gonna idle on your body now!"

"Not if you can't catch me!"

Mina quickly leaves the tent and goes outside, but thanks to Sola's unnatural strength and speed, she easily manages to catch up to her.

"Hehe, I got you now!"

"Oh no... I totally didn't want this to happen!"

Sola playfully melts onto Mina who was obviously asking for it.

"Haha! Now I'm going to sleep!"

"Wow... I'm so sorry. Sola, I'm not going to do it again..."

Mina lays on the ground, staring at the night sky with Sola soundly asleep on her body.

"Ah... I miss this feeling..."
