A great drawing by NotReallyRadasus and of his character, the Technician.

I love playing the Labyrinth game (part of Radasus' Patreon) and imagining how my goblin would find himself in such a predicament.

And that's how this story came about.

Story below written by me.

He slowly awakens to the sounds of gentle mechanical hum. His eyes flutter as the pale lights of the pastel corridor blind him. He sees the porcelain-colored halls move past him, yet he is still. Or more so, being held in place.

The young man feels as if he is wearing something tight, cool, and encompassing, not at all like the ninja attire he should be wearing. The subtle creaks and squeaks from his writhing inform him that the material is latex or something similar. The young man cranes his neck forward to see sleek and sturdy black straps across his now black, reflective covered chest and from his minimal leg movement, likely across his legs. Even his mouth isn't spared as a thick band around his jaw muffles him. The olive-skinned man huffs as he throws his head back against the machination. He is or was captured, now a prisoner of the complex.

"Subject Rho, please refrain from further movement. We will arrive at the destination shortly. Master wants to see you."

His ears perks as he hears the steady mechanical voice. Getting captured was embarrassing enough, but stripped of his garments and taken to their leader was a whole another level of disappointment. It was embarrassingly unprofessional for a bandit like himself. He fears his reputation and pride would be tarnished if anyone from the guild found out. He fumes, shaking as much as he could in his metal bindings over his failure even though his efforts are fruitless.

For now, all he can do was comply and find an opening to escape. But Rho could not recall how he infiltrated the complex, let alone how he got captured. He can't recall the mission that brought the rogue here. Was it a bounty, a prize, or an invitation? Well, he is inside but not in the situation he intended. He huffs as he cant fill the gaps in his memory.

But instead of clarity, Rho finds himself in a hazy dream of him strapped down to a bed with harnesses. Surrounded by dominatrices and dominators of tieflings, goblins, elves, and other creatures with whips and toys in hand. All smiling, eager to torment him. The moments of buzzing, sharp pain, the kisses, made Rho curl his toes and, clench his fist. He sways and moans as the dream was getting him further aroused, even making him tent inside his bindings.

His dream is interrupted by the abrupt stop at a pair of metallic doors. In the reflection, he sees a floating silver orb with metallic arms held together with black cables and a yellow visor across the front behind him.

"Master will see you now." The automated door opens as Rho is pushed through to see the ruler.

What greets him is a padded white room with a steel mechanical chair with yellow highlights levitating in the middle of the room, surrounded by holographic screens. As he is moved closer to the chair, he could see beings of all animal-kind running through similar padded rooms. Some exploring, some are being chased, and some were captured. And how they were captured was never the same. He gulps at the idea that he would experience a similar fate. No matter where Rho's eyes darted, he could not find another door or even a vent to escape through.

"Master, the intruder is here." The robot behind him speaks as he brings Rho a few feet from where the master was seated. Rho grumbles upon hearing the word "intruder".

"Very good, Orbolie. Stand by for further instruction." A sonorous voice commands in a rather calm tone.

The mechanical being buzzes and moves back a few feet as the chair turns around. What Rho saw confuses him as much as it intrigues him. Sitting there is a pitch-black humanoid being with four-fingered digits and three clawed toes sitting with one leg crossed. It wore a yellow lensed prosthetic on the left side of its head while on the right side its bright yellow eye is left uncovered. The top of its head as well as its yellow eye billows softly like a small flame. On its left forearm is a silver mechanical gauntlet with a yellow touch screen. Possibly something this ethereal being is using to control the robots or the rooms, Rho hypothesizes. But the more he observes, the more his breathing quickens as he has the undivided attention of the ruler of this complex.

Its eyes narrow as it leans closer to the goblin. Rho is uncomfortable as the prosthetic lens scans him briefly before a screen of his own face appears on the chair's dashboard.

"Subject Rho," It speaks from its unseen mouth. "Height. Four feet, ten inches. One hundred pounds. Species: Goblin and human. Interesting. Occupation. Rogue/Bandit. Hmmm." He pauses as he moves the profile screen with the collection of other monitors.

Pushing himself off the chair, it strides to the bounded captor, towering over him inches apart. Rho vigorously shakes as the being reaches out its smoky clawed digits. Fears of his soul being ripped out make him pale and drive him to sweats.

"Please, hold still." It asks in an attempt to calm Rho. "I'm sure you have questions but first, I must observe."

As the first digits grace his jaw, Rho feels fear drawing forth to the forefront of this consciousness.....as was his curiosity...then lust...then pride...then disappointment. A whole range of emotions circulates through him as his chin was cupped. Some surface level, some private. The Master hums deeply, its uncovered yellow eye almost "closing", as if concentrating, searching.

The goblin himself finds himself humming along with the humanoid creature. His breathing steadies as he feels something getting pulled. A more calming and sensual emotion drawing deep inside him. The prior hazy daydream gets tugged from the recesses of his conscious, lustful emotions and sensations becoming more vivid, making him squirm ever more inside the tight suit and bounds. The feelings and imagery were becoming more frightening for the goblin by the minute. Rho is starting to mentally fight the dream as it bores into his consciousness.

The mental shock causes the Master's hand to recoil. It looked more surprised than hurt by the experience as it flexes its digits while looking at the restrained half-goblin, huffing with eyes full of fear.

"Do not be afraid. I should have warned you this could happen." It comforts as it reapproaches Rho, though bending down to his eye level. Rho flinches at the black figure raising its arm back towards his jaw, instinctively turning his head away from the clawed hand. The figure drew it back as if it knows that another attempt would be fruitless.

"I have learned that it is customary that when one shares something, the other should give something back as well." It says, attempting to calm his restrained subject. "I have learned a lot about you. Some more personal than others. Since you've shared something personal, so shall I." Its hand moved from the jaw to its chest and over his heart.

"My name.....can not be pronounced by the tongues of his dimension. So, you may call me "The Technician", and yes, I am the master of this complex and these robotics."

"Hmm, fear, anxiety, and curiosity." The Technician spoke as its hands returned back to the goblin's chin. "An emotional combination of those with lots of questions."

Rho narrows his eyes and grumbles upon hearing the being's observation. If his displeasure wasn't felt by the being powers, it is present on Rho's exposed face.

"So why the bindings? Why the latex suit, you wonder." He continues. "In short, I study emotions, particularly, desires. And to do so, I make sure my subjects are in the best starting conditions to share such desires. Your participation will only help in my research of what draws out the deep desires of mortal beings. Doesn't this feel similar to one of your desires?"

A cold feeling washes over Rho upon hearing the question. Bound and latex suited. It was something he kept private. And the daydream started with him in that position. But he never told the Technician that or could have. The realization hits him like a pile of bricks. This being could even read his hidden desires from touch alone.

"I believe I have my answer." It says with a satisfied chuckle. "You have desires. Deep, dark desires. You can find them in my Labyrinth. Well, more accurately they will find you."

Rho feels the need to be on guard, against this supernatural being. He spent years training to hide his deep-seated weaknesses and feelings that could be exploited. Even after the emotional shock he experienced, he feels his unwillingness to let the Technician know more than he needed.

"Do not be alarmed. Despite your coming here unannounced, you will be treated as the subjects here and not a prisoner." Rho rolls his eyes at that comment believing it's the same thing. Considering how the half-goblin is tied down, gagged, and called an intruder, being called a 'prisoner' would be saying it lightly. "And like my subjects, once you have unveiled and embraced those buried desires to find the end of the Labyrinth, you are free to leave." As the ghostly figure finishes, Rho looked unimpressed by the explanation. He could see the Technician was irritated by his expression.

"Think of this as a game. You get the challenge or thrill or whatever, and I get the data. Everyone wins." The Technician bargains even though he knew he could just send him away at any time.

Rho rolls his eyes at the proposition as he thinks it over. Desires? He has no time for that., or at least not with this being. Playing the headmaster's game and winning will restore his pride and build his reputation among his peers. Nothing shows how skilled you are like escaping from capture. The half-goblin is now determined to take on the Technician's Labyrinth.

"Very good. It's best when the subjects don't object to the challenge." The Technician hit a couple of buttons on his wrists and a circular capsule rose from the ground. "Orbolie, make sure our new subject is situated for the labyrinth."

"Affirmative!!"

The silvery spherical robot pushes Rho to the round capsule that just large enough to fit him. The half-goblin wiggles as he is lifted into the metal chamber. The dolly becomes a flat metal sheet and fits perfectly against the wall leaving the green-skinned bandit suspended.

"It's not often we get fantasy creatures like yourself here, let alone any that are mixed with humans." The Technician says as he walked back into his chair, looking through his screen profile of Rho. "Abilities: stealthiness, dexterity, sleight-of-hand, all the features of a bandit with a hint of unfocused magical abilities. They should be no match for my traps, but I am always open to a challenge."

The goblin grumbles, wanting to one-up this Technician. He did not know how he was captured before but is resolute that he won't be bested without a fight. But as Rho psyches himself up, he didn't notice the hissing of the capsule pod. A silvery gas with a sweet aroma fills the capsule as the interior of the capsule starts to inflate slowly. Even as the bands retracted, Rho could hardly move as he is squished inside the puffy interior of the pod. Further in, the saturated gas causes Rho's eyes to flutter as he starts to squirm against the tight yet soft confines of the shiny padded material. The sleek texture of the cushion rubs against the rubber-clad goblin, whimpering and moaning from the sensation.

"I can tell you're eager but it's simply not your turn." The Technician drives the chair up to the capsule to observe Rho. The goblin slowly breathes, he is about to doze off into the medically induced sleep. Rho is just able to keep eye contact with the Technician before dozing off.

"I look forward to seeing your competitive spirit. It may bring out the desires you buried deep within you."

With another tap on the gauntlet, the capsule starts to lower into a chamber. As the goblin descends into darkness and becomes one of the many runners of the intricate Labyrinth, he sees the Technician waves at him.

"I'll be waiting."
