Two sensitive bois preffer a more intimate celebration

Wallace was typing on his computer, finishing the assignment.

It was pride month, and for the first time in his life he felt like celebrating it. But the idea of going to a parade was intimidating, so he decided on a more private celebration. And he knew who just to call.

"Lucas?" he typed on his phone.

A minute passed, before the phone rang.

"Do you need anything, Wallace?" Lucas said, a bit irritated but with a non-subtle joy.

"Do you want to celebrate pride month with me? I promise we won't go to parades, just dress up a bit and hang here or at the cafe."

Another silence ensued.

"Sure, as long as it's not too loud."

"Great! And same for me, I too don't feel like going to a crowd. It'll be just us."

Not even two minutes passed before Wallace heard a knock on the door. Out of it came Lucas, wearing his usual clothes but with a pride cape on his shoulders.

"Aure made me wear this" Lucas said, frustrated.

"I think it looks really good on you."

Wallace himself had just pinned a gay flag to his shirt. Not as extravagant as Lucas, but it would do.

The two sat down by Wallace's bed. They kissed each other, a simple peck carrying all the love the two could muster.

"So what now?" Lucas answerred.

"Oh, I thought we could just binge some movies. Again, this is just the two of us."

Lucas smiled, and the two got comfy on the bed.

Eventually, they decided to go to the gay cafe. It was a bit more crowded than usual, so the two just satyed for a while, greeting the baristas and ordering some hot chocolate, before heading home again. The two walked together, yet felt apart. Lucas was not in a particularly cuddly mood after that crowd.

That changed when they got to Wallace's room. The two kissed passionately, and laid side-by-side on the bed, feeling exhausted.

True to Wallace's word, it was a quiet moment, listening to each other's heartbeats.

Until Aure bursted in with pride clothes for them to wear.
