PokeMEN World: Manual

#1 of PokeMEN

A world sheet I cooked up real quick, based on/inspired by the works of some artists on twitter that I really like the works of.

Introduction:-

This world is pretty identical to the normal/original pokemon world with some slight differences, namely a slightly greater advancement in science and technology, as well as some laws regarding pokemon.

New Pokemon Bodies:-

One day, a strange wave of energy from an unknown source washed over the entire world, it didn't affect humans or anything else, but it affected all the pokemon greatly, changing them to look more human-like, standing on two legs with humanoid, anthropomorphic bodies.

However, their faces became slightly more humanoid with more human features, although there are some traits that are more bestial than human, and they keep the colors and facial markings of their original bodies. Oh! And they gained the ability to speak the human language, making them much easier to understand without having to resort to devices and such.

Starting stages of evolution are usually the shortest, but they never go below 5 feet in height/stature, so they usually grow really tall by the time they reach their final evolution(s). Also, thanks to their new bodies, they can also gain and build up muscle mass, just like human bodies can, so most methods of training done by humans are now useful to them too. Also, despite their stature in their early stages, they're always around the age of a young adult, in human years, so the average being around 18 or 19+.

Breeding:-

Another change that took place is the gender ratio of the pokemon, where it was now more common to find male pokemon than females, unless it was a gender-exclusive race. However, this was, somehow, balanced out, by allowing certain male pokemon to be able to breed and bear children. And, of course, there's always Dittos. The males who are able to bear children are recognizable by a strange marking that appears on their midsection, usually their crotches, just above their penises or around their navels.

Rules and Laws:-

Most pokemon handling and battling rules are pretty much the same, but now it became optional for pokemon, those under a trainer at least, to wear human clothes since they have the bodies for it now.

The grand majority are indifferent to that, but some people are all up in arms about it. On one side, there are people who say that they should be wearing clothes indefinitely when inside settlements like towns and/or cities. And on the other side, pokemon rights activists declared that, regardless of their new forms, pokemon should not be wearing clothes as they are not humans and it would remove their independence and ruin their natural instincts as pokemon. Kinda insulting on either side really, even some pokemon take offence to both declarations.

As mentioned before, other rules are pretty much the same, no changes were needed there.

Battling and Contests:-

Things are different now, taking their ages in human years now, pokemon below the age of 18 cannot participate in battles or contests.

Other than that, the rules of battle and contests are pretty much the same. Each participating trainer takes turns commanding their pokemon, other than that, pokemon can do whatever they wished.

Pokemon Facilities and Treatment:-

Since they are more humanoid now and more understanding of human technologies, laws, etc, many human-only facilities have now opened to pokemon as well, but there are also the pokemon exclusive ones that changed their services to accommodate the new pokemon. Pokemon Spas for example now offer massage services.

Hospitals and Pokemon Centers have now basically fused into one giant establishment, just a large building with different wings either for humans or for pokemon.

Pokeballs and Pokemon Items:-

Pokeballs, and Held Items are still a thing and are effective against/with the new pokemons. But now there are special gear and items of clothing that pokemon can wear to boost their stats and/or traits.
