Chapter Nine

"Wascally Wabbit"

By

Furry Sith Lord

"Thanks Phil," Marge said after the cameraman gave her the signal. The Eastern Gray Squirrel reporter spoke clearly as she addressed the camera. "I'm standing in the local park to ask species about the latest developments and the newest craze as far as fetishes go.

With the reemergence of the long extinct hairless ape species, that now call themselves humans, they have brought a new trend. When they captured The City of Salam they took hostages and turned them into their own personal pets. Removing all their clothes and using their slave collars to remove their talking ability.

This has sparked outrage because the treatment has been viewed as being inhuman. Though society has allowed for slavery the owners are demanded to not do anything abusive to their slaves. The humans live apart from society and their actions have shown how truly evil they are.

However, that is not the end of the story. While the army has surrounded The City of Salam and they wait to receive orders to invade and free the "pets" Many have found that owning pets is the newest fetish that couples are practicing.

Couples are dressing up, or should I say undressing their partners, out of all their usual clothing then making them wear fake collars attached to chains. Their partners now become pets of their significant other as part of the bondage clique." Marge said and the cameraman moved the camera to show a couple standing next to her. The couple were German Shepherds, one male and one female. The female was dressed casually in tight jeans and a close fitting t-shirt and showed her breasts. She wore a backpack that was almost invisible to the camera.

The male was sitting on his feet being dressed in only his fur. His tongue was hanging out as he panted and she held the end of the leash attached to the collar he wore. His erection was stiffly poking out of his sheath as he sat there with it displayed. Most would be embarrassed by being so exposed in public but neither of them seemed to mind a bit.

"I'm here with Helga and Dedrick Lupus-G. They have agreed to this interview to discuss their love of the latest fetish trend. Thank you both for being here.

"Thank you for having us." Helga replied and Dedrick barked like a regular canine.

"Is he allowed to do that?" Marge asked as she stared at his erection but she tried to be inconspicuous.

"Barking is just allowed as normal puppy play that we engage in. He can still talk like a normal canine and he does wear clothing and goes to work but this is ... just some fun we engage in and the sex is amazing." Helga said and she scratched Dedrick's head as he moaned in pleasure.

"Don't you find it embarrassing that you have your significant other walking around like a homeless one and having no status?" Marge asked.

"We don't care about other species and their bigoted mindset. As long as we have each other that's all that matters. Plus what we do has been a growing trend, so we're not alone." Helga explained.

"Does this mean that you're in favor of the human treatment of their hostages as pets?" Marge asked.

"Certainly not! Sure we like to play but it's consensual. What the humans are doing is despicable to treat any species like that without consent."

"But isn't the very nature of slavery is to own someone without their consent? If the humans are turning their slaves into pets then how is it any less moral than owning slaves in general?" Marge asked and Helga blushed.

"I never thought about it that way," She replied lamely as she tried to think of something to say. Dedrick stood up and Helga handed him the backpack she wore.

Dedrick removed a pair of boxers and slipped them on then he unlatched the fake slave collar he wore.

"To clarify," Dedrick said as he spoke up while he was only in his underwear on camera. "Even though society has deemed slavery acceptable there is a certain amount of respect that must be shown to slaves. Slaves in general must be treated with a certain amount of respect and humiliation if typically off limits. An owner can discipline an unruly slave to correct them but to belittle them, as the humans have, goes against the foundations of our society." He said then he took a pair of jeans out of the backpack and put them on.

"You seem to claim there is a fine line between acceptable and not acceptable. Where is that line drawn exactly?" Marge asked. Her face remained emotionless as she waited for the response.

"Depending on you you classify it, I'd say the fine line borders on abuse. To abuse a slave ort anyone is the point at which it is completely unacceptable." Dedrick said. He finished dressing by pulling a t-shirt over his head that had the logo of a sports team he enjoyed. Marge was suddenly struck that he now looked like a normal, well adjusted, species compared to how he had just looked and acted like a pet.

Helga and Dedrick held each other and each slipped a paw into their partner's back pocket as they held each other.

"Thank you for your time and I wish the both of you the best," She said as she addressed the couple them turned back to the camera. "Back to you Phil."

I sat on the couch with my fiance and we held paws as we watched the news. He had been ignoring the shouting from the other room but finally Lyon walked in on us and stamped his feet in the process.

"No, no, no, no!!! Absolutely not!" He shouted as our father calmly entered, walking behind him.

"Lyon," he said firmly yet softly at the same time. "There is no other way."

"Yes there is! Tyger, back me up." She demanded and I jumped hoping I wouldn't be brought into their argument. Thee truth was that I agreed with my father and knew Lyon did not want to hear that. Ben squeezed my paw then released his grip telling me I was on my own with this one.

Lyon was finally back to his old self and since he had a chance to yell and get his true feelings out to his biological adult, he seemed to have new confidence. Though he still acted like our dad most of the time.

"What's going on?" I asked as I played dumb. I had the jist of what our father wanted and Lyon refused to go along with it. Father was trying to remain civil but it was obvious his patience was wearing thin. Having been on the other side I knew how Lyon felt, somewhat.

"Father is trying to kill Dash!!!" Lyon shouted.

"What?!" Ben squeaked them, realized he did and sank down into the sofa to hide. He did not want to get in the middle of this especially since he was not asked.

"I am not trying to kill anyone." Father exclaimed. Dad calmly walked in and put his paw on Lyon's shoulder. He led my brother over to a chair where he sat down and slightly lifted Lyon and made him sit on his lap. Lyon struggled slightly but did not put up much of a fight. The funny part was that Lyon is too big to sit on our dad's lap anymore.

Even though Lyon is slightly younger than I am, we tend to still treat him like he's a cub. He takes it in stride but at times he seems to like it. I think because he loves us so much that he's afraid to grow up because then he'll have to leave and start his own family and life. I'm not sure he's ready for that yet.

Our parents would never kick him or any of us out of the mansion but I can understand that growing up can be a scary thing. The one thing he loves and the only thing that would make my little brother become an adult is his love of football.

Dash and him work well together than they have had recruiters watching and offering possible scholarships to get him to play for them. It would be a slight steppingstone so that he could later get recruited by major league professional football, or whatever they call it. I'm not good with sports and all that. The thing I like the most is still lifting weights, which to me isn't even a chore but I use it as my way of thinking things through as I get in shape.

I like the feel of Ben's paws as he traces the outlines of my muscles with his paws. His body isn't as firm as mine is but his soft features make me feel like I'm sleeping on a pillow as I rest on him. Another reason we go well together!

"Wait start at the beginning." I said and father turned towards me.

"I'm trying to set my plans in motion. I have three goals as of right now," He started.

"Yes we know. Destroy C.I.Z.A, Destroy The FDI, and Save The Humans." interrupted to skip a head a bit. I heard Ben clear his throat and knew I still had to talk to my father about me visiting Ben's family.

"Anyway, I've finally decided a few steps toward moving forward. Rather than focus on one at a time I'm settling to go about completing all three at once."

"That's quite an undertaking," I remarked then I turned and heard dad humming to Lyon. Lyon was falling to sleep like when he was little. When he had nightmares and used to wet the bed, our dad would hold him like a baby and hum to him to help him quiet down. It seems it still has some of the old magic to it.

"I agree," Father replied. "Which is why I'm going to do what I was hoping to avoid. First off your dad and Merrik are going to, presumably without my knowledge, defect to C.I.Z.A. Merrik is get them to focus on him while your dad gathers intel I can use against them. I'm sure they won't trust either of them but if Merrik makes himself stand out they'll think his's my mole and focus on him. This lets your dad feed me what I need to wipe them out.

The FDI will be a bit more tricky because I plan to give them Bear. I'm hoping to get Will to be a bodyguard and just as The Furries focus on Bear then Will will be my mole. With C.I.Z.A. watching Merrik and The Furries watching Bear I can focus on The humans.

I need to send in someone that BH has never seen before in order to watch and report back to me everything I can use to bring them down. Someone unassuming and nonthreatening. Someone that can blend in with the other pets that no one would think twice about." Our father explained and I turned as I heard Lyon struggling to get free from our dad.

"So you're thinking of sending in?" I asked just to get him to say it.

"Dash! He's the perfect choice. I'll put a fake slave collar on him and send him in and no one will think a little rabbit is anything. He keeps his mouth shut and feeds me the intel so we can bring them down." Father said.

"But honestly I don't think Dash can keep his mouth shut. He'll give himself away as soon as he speaks up about something. Even if his intentions are pure he'll put himself in trouble." I replied.

The fake collar will b e a real one that will take away his ability to speak but other than that he'll be free as long as he realizes he needs to obey any orders the humans give him. He won't be a slave but he has to act like one and get close to listen to their secrets. His collar will send what he overhears to us so it's like we are right there with him."

"Clever. What happens if he gets in trouble?" Ben asked.

"He'll have to find a way to deal with it on his own. Being that he's part of The White Disaster, I think he'll be fast enough to get away." Father remarked.

"And, Lyon is throwing a fit you want to use his bestie." I replied and my father nodded.

"It's too much danger to put Dash in!" Lyon whined and he finally broke free from our dad. He leaned in and growled at father, who took it in stride and tried to not let it bother him but his scent smelled of annoyance. The same kind he had when he punished me.

"Go to your room! I won't have you speaking to me like that!" Father replied after taking a deep breath. Lyon flinched in surprise and crossed his arms across his chest as he stomped off towards his room.

Dad rose and started to walk out when father stopped him. Dad still remained silent as if contemplating what he should do. He was on both their sides but also on neither one but his scent told me he wanted neither of them to be against each other.

"I'll speak to him. Give him a moment to cool down." Father said.

"That's what I was trying but it seems he won't be quieted by normal."

"Dash is his best friend and the first one to ever be his friend despite his fur color. I fear that he'd do anything to protect Dash. We've had some close calls and I think he wants no part of that." Father explained and Dad put his paw on Father's shoulder and gave it a squeeze.

"Be firm but gentle. He's not like Tyger,"

"HEY!!!!" I interrupted and frowned at my dad. He just smiled one of his wolfish grins and I sighed as I let the comment go.

"When does Dash leave for Salam City?" Ben asked.

"In a couple of days. I made a cover story about Leggo taking Dash and Lyon camping. I plan to send Dash in when Merrik and Leggo go to C.I.Z.A." Father explained.

"Which leaves Bear and Will." I said reminding him he needed them as well. So far Bear had been enjoying his win over his court case. He had sued a coworker that accused him of rape. When the trial happened his lawyer proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was innocent!

She may have had fans that supported her, but many could not deny the truth that she was lying in order to bolster her career. His career skyrocketed as many supported him for standing his ground and not letting a liar win . Plus he had numerous fans that liked him from his Soda Coke commercials and the movie was well done.

Now he was being offered numerous roles in other movies. The trouble was that the slave collar he wore had removed his memories. Memories of when he was an agent for C.I.Z.A. and the Leader of The White Citadel. Turning him back to his old self may be more dangerous than freeing Merrik.

Sure Merrik could not be trusted, which was why Leggo was going in with him, but compared to Bear he was a saint. Lou feared that he might not be able to get Bear to help.

Lou put the van he was driving in park and turned off the engine. Dash jumped out the back and rubbed his arms as the night air chilled him. Lou slowly climbed out and walked over to Dash and used his hoof to pet the young rabbit's head.

"Scared?" Lou asked.

"A little... I'm just not sure what to expect." Dash replied nervously.

"Once I activate this slave collar you won't be able to talk. The reason is because the humans may overheard you and know you're a spy. That puts your life in danger. However, this has a microphone built in so I can hear everything you do.

You remember what to do right? Blend in and look and act like one of their pets. Get close and learn everything you can. Watch the others to see how they behave so you can blend in." Lou explained softly as Dash repeated back everything he said as if committing it to memory.

"What happens if I get found out?" Dash asked.

"I trust that you'll think of something, you always do." Lou said as another van pulled up and stopped next to them.

"Who are they?" Dashed asked as he tried to look inside the van but the headlights blinded him. They immediately turned off and Tyger climbed out of the passenger seat. Ben climbed out of the driver's seat.

"You guys?!" Dash asked as the sight of them help reassure him.

"Father told me about this plan and we volunteered for it. We'll be monitoring your every move and I'll be able to speak to you through your collar. No one but you can hear us you don't don't have to think you're alone because you're not, we're with you." Tyger explained.

"I got...father...to let me drive." Ben said lamely but Lou walked over and began to pet his future son in law. Dash ran over and hugged the white tigers as his eyes were filled with tears.

"No Lyon huh," Dash asked as he rubbed his eyes.

"He threw a fit when he was told you were going. He tried to stop everything but we need you, Dash. You're the only one smart, fast, and clever enough to do this." Tyger said. A look of determination filled Dash's face.

"Of course! With me you get the best!" Dash replied confidently.

"That's it number one! You're the best and we need the best to help us." Ben said. Dash gave him the thumbs up as he took off his clothing. Lou in the meantime opened a special briefcase and removed a special slave collar from it.

"Ready?" Lou asked and Dash hesitated then nodded then Lou placed the collar on his neck. Lou placed his thumb on the clasp and gave the only order he planned to give. "You will lose the ability to talk." Lou said as Dash flinched as the collar took effect.

Tyger and Ben went over and hugged Dash one last time before he left. Dash was silent but judging by his hug he was grateful of the moral support. Lastly Lou walked over and bend down to hug Dash.

"I'll take care of Lyon in your absence. I promise he'll be safe, for when you return." Lou whispered and Dash began to cry softly. Tyger and Ben heard Lou but pretended they had not overheard. That way the promise would be kept between them.

Dash looked back once then ran towards the city. Tyger waved then felt foolish that Dash had not seen him. Tyger and Ben entered their van and began to monitor what the collar began to broadcast.

Lou had kept it secret about the hidden camera inside the collar as well as the microphone. He feared mentioning it would make Dash become lazy but if Dash thought the mission was harder then he'd try harder.

"We are live." Tyger said as he checked monitors that had been set up and began to broadcast everything that Dash was seeing. There were several pets that walked by and glanced at him. Dash shook as a couple of humans led their pets on leashes and made them use the bathroom outdoors.

Dash was looking around when he suddenly bumped into something. He turned and saw a large bull turn and look down at him. The bull was wearing clothing unlike the other pets and Dash stared with his mouth open as he looked at the bull.

"Huh? Where are you off to little one?" Maxx asked and Dash tried responding but then began to try and gesture as he remembered he could not speak. Maxx watched him in amusement.

"Relax little one, I'm no different than anyone else," Maxx was saying and Tyger looked at the bull and it took him a second to recognize him.

"Dash, that bull is a friend of BH. He's a storyteller that keeps the humans entertained, I forgot his name." Tyger said.

"I recognize him... he was directing the ceremonies if I remember correctly." Lou replied as e climbed in to watch the monitor.

"I'm Maxx, little one, what's your name?" Maxx chuckled as he realized that Dash was a pet and not allowed to talk. Dash frowned and folded his arms across his chest as he looked at the huge bull looking down at him. "Sorry I forgot. Where is your owner?"

Dash changed his expression to appear sad as he began to gesture that his master had kicked him out of the house. Maxx watched closely and made Dash repeat the gestures several times until he finally figured out what he was trying to say. Maxx rested his huge hoof on Dash's head and although it was bigger than Dash's head he used no pressure in order to not harm him.

"Why don't you spend the night with me and in the morning I'll talk to your owner to give you another chance." Maxx said and Dash reached out and hugged Maxx's hoof tightly to apply affection. Maxx held Dash's paw as he led him to his home.

"Have I ever told you about a dragon and his friend named Peter?" Maxx asked, then he began to tell the story from the movie Peter's Dragon. Dash and Lyon had watched that one numerous times but something about the way Maxx told it made it seem like something more that a movie they had seen numerous times.

"Good job Dash, If you can get in good with him, that will put you close to BH." Tyger said and Dash smiled as he heard the compliment.

Lou finally arrived back at the mansion some time later. He had stuck around to make sure Dash could get close to BH's friend. Dash had convinced the bull that he was interested in the story told to him and Maxx seemed like he enjoyed having an audience even if it was just a small bunny.

Lou closed the front door and saw Lyon sitting on the steps to the upper level. He was only wearing Power Fur Ranger boxers as he sat with his head held up on his paws. He looked as if he was almost asleep but jumped awake when Lou entered.

"Aren't you supposed to be in your room? You do know how punishment works?" Lou asked after a quick sigh. He saw the look on his son's face to know he just wanted to make sure his best friend was safe.

"I just want to know if he's safe." Lyon said softly.

"Come here," Lou ordered tenderly. Lyon quickly obeyed and Lou grabbed him and hugged him as tightly as he could. It took a moment or two but Lyon returned the hug back as they held each other rocking slightly.

Lou heard the muffled tears and just let Lyon be as he cried in his hooves. Lou remembered the fear as he watched Dash run into the city. He was finally understanding why Lyon had been so upset and against this plan. He was starting to hate himself for putting his adopted son through all this. As strong as Dash was he was still a part of their family and his absence was leaving a mark they all felt.

"Tyger is watching him closely and if anything happens he and Ben are ready to rush in and save him. Do you know Dash has already made a friend? He met that bull I told you about." Lou explained.

"The one that tells the stories?" Lyon asked.

"Yes. He is very kind and I know he'll help protect Dash. I have a special mission that I need your help with. Tomorrow we are going to visit an old adversary and I need your help to protect me. Will you do it? Will you protect your old father?" Lou asked tenderly. Lyon wiped the tears from his eyes and with a look of determination he nodded. Lou gave him one more hug before sending him off to bed.
