Chapter 2
He had finally succeeded in getting what he needed now all he had to do was figure out what he plans to do with the data. He flew through night sky the wind blowing through his hair and the thought of getting to bed filled his head. The company wasn't far from the farm and in only fifteen minutes he was flying right over the farm. He switched off the rockets and slowly lowered himself down to the ground.
He could see the lights were still on in the lobby which meant everyone was probably still up waiting for him to come back. He slid the door open and walked inside to find everyone sitting down and looking at him. He took off the jet pack then pressed the red button on his armored arms and they shrunk back into regular wristbands.
"So? Did you get it?" asked Mallory.
He grinned and held up the USB drive.
"Told you I would get it."
They all let out a sigh of relief, not that he got the data he needed but because he was safe. He put the drive back in his pocket and took off the black jacket he had on.
"How did the gear work?" Sarah asked.
"Oh they worked great. They worked fine going in and coming out."
He threw his arms up and stretched.
"Now if you excuse me I think im going to go get some rest." he said walking towards his room.
His room had not changed much, he had a group picture of everyone and he had a new bed that he bought with his savings. Once he got in there he took of his shirt and his gloves, he didn't bother taking a bath since it was so late he just wanted to relax a bit. He almost accomplished that but then someone knocked on the door.
"Can I come in?"
It was Katie.
"Sure."
She opened the door and walked in. She had gotten use to seeing him without his shirt off so it didn't make her blush as much.
"Is something wrong?"
She shook her head and sat on the bed next to him.
"So are you going back to fight your uncle?" she asked out of the blue.
He couldn't respond right away all he could say was.
"Uh hmm I'm not sure I've got to wait 'till we see what he's planning. Why? Does it bother you that I keep going back there?"
She turned slightly so he couldn't see her face,
"That's it isn't it you don't like me going there and risking my life."
He could hear her whisper something under her breathe.
"I worry about you constantly. I can't bear the thought of you getting hurt like you did last time or even worse."
He turned her head so it was facing his.
"I'm not going to die I can promise you that much. He can punch me, he can slash me but he can't kill me. You know why? Because of you and everyone else. You guys give me the strength to keep going until the job is done."
He wiped the few tears that were forming in her eyes but then she did something strange. She turned away from him.
"There's something I've want to tell you." she said quietly.
He tilted his head in confusion.
"Is it that you found a boyfriend or does it have to do with one of the ocupan...." he stopped because he heard her say something that made his heart speed up.
"What did you say?" he asked.
She gulped and said it again.
"I love you."
He didn't say anything he just sat there looking at her. She then turned around as fast as she could and her face was bright red.
"I love you, I love you, I love you ok I admit it I love you. I may not be the perfect girl but I love you ok I looooooooove you." she said as she ran out of breathe.
"I love you."
He just stared at her with his eyes wide open.
"Katie...."
But then she jumped and kissed him right on the lips. He didn't care about anything anymore he held her in his arms as they both kissed. She then kissed down his neck and onto his chest.
"Please ." is all she could get out.
Next door Mallory and Sarah could hear moaning coming from the other side of the wall.
"Wow there really getting it on." Sarah said looking through her peep hole in the wall.
They both had a peep hole and could see exactly what was going on. Katie was on top, naked while Kevin was on the bottom thrusting into her hard.
"He's really going at it." Mallory said.
"They make a cute couple don't you think?"
She giggled and nodded.
That night was the most magical night of both Katie and Kevin's lives. After they had there fun they both got under the covers. Both of them were breathing pretty hard.
"Wow you were amazing." she said turning her head towards him.
"Likewise." he said reaching over and turning off the lamp on the table next to him.
