Rebellion
The duo stood in the middle of the street surrounded by buildings on all sides. The male wolf held a bow in his right hand and an arrow notched to the bowstring with the other hand, The Female fox had her Ice bladed sword in her Right hand and the other hand held a glowing ball of flowing ice.
"You ready my darling Flake?" The Male wolf asked the Fox not taking his eye's off the buildings surrounding him.
"Yush Shadow I'm ready" Flake answered her pure white fur rustling in the wind.
"Okay lets do this" Shadow answered his normally pure red eyes going black for a brief moment as he contacted the group of mercenaries on a crane 700 feet from there current possession "This is RED BAIT, come in COLD BLOODED".
"This is COLD BLOODED we have you in our sights RED BAIT and have activated thermal awaiting further orders" Responded a Blue fox called Teffet on the crane, his Barrett in his paws resting against the railing of the crane and spread out along the length of the crane were three other figure's barely recognizable with the exception of the long barrel of the snipers they each had on the railing focused on the two tiny black figures in the middle of the road facing away from each other.
"Roger that COLD BLOODED sun is going down get ready to take out enemies as soon as it goes fully mate" Shadow replied watching as the sun slowly went behind the building.
As soon as the sun went down behind the last two story building A large number of Dark winged creatures erupted from the surrounding buildings and made a bee line straight for Shadow and Flake their large claws bared and eager for blood. The first four demons fell down as soon as they were out the doors as four silenced sniper rifles shot bullets through their skulls killing them dead.
Then the enemies number increased tenfold and there was too many was too many for Teffet and his group to take out so in no time at all the demons had formed a circle around Flake and Shadow. The first demon jumped forward attempting to slash at Shadow's neck but fell half way there with an arrow pierced through his heart. Shadow quickly knocked another arrow to the string and shot down another demon that got a little too close, Flake on the other hand was launching orbs of ice at every demon she could keeping them at bay for the time being.
Teffet and his team were coming under heavy attack from winged demons who were attempting to knock them off the crane and distracting his team so they couldn't help the group hundreds of feet from them.
Shadow and Flake were holding their own for the time being but they wouldn't be able to hold out for two long with the amount of demons pouring our from the buildings and things were beginning to look hopeless.
