A Scare in the Forest

Stella if off on her journey to deliver the strange flower that transformed her and her friend to the magic academy in Renoylph, but she stumbles on her first steps out of town.

This one is shorter than my usual chapters but it centers around a singular theme and I wanted to depict the aftermath to Stella's "incident" with Patros.

_PREVIOUSLY ON: Earlier that day, Stella and her older satyr friend Patros were looking around the forest for herbs when they discovered a strange plant. Unexpectedly, it turned Patros into a monstrous demon and in that savaged state he had no control over himself and attacked Stella! As a last ditch effort to protect her life, Stella voluntarily inhaled the flower so that she too would become a demon as well and be on equal strength to her demonified friend.

Instead of violence, the dumbed-down monsters were hit with an attraction for one another and mated right there in the forest before they reverted back to their regular forms. After gathering their bearings, the two knew that the authorities should know about the strange specimen of flower, so Stella took a sample and prepared for a long journey to the academy in the far-off town of Renoylph._

With Drecker behind her, Stella was off on her journey. She would have preferred to start out a journey in the morning, but she had to get to Renoylph as soon as possible, so she took to the highway with the last bits of afternoon light in the sky.

Her goal was to deliver a flower specimen to the far-off city of Renoylph. With all the gel inside its box to seal it, it was heavier than she expected so when she was preparing her journey's inventory, she went easy on filling the rest of her backpack with things other than the essentials.

She would have wanted a horse but there wasn't one to spare back in Drecker. Part of this journey would be on foot, it seemed, but she hoped she would find a horse to purchase or a service to rent along the way.

As the sound of Drecker behind her faded into silence- murmurs from the crowd, anvils being hit, carts being pulled- and solitude emerged from the countryside, Stella used the journey to collect her thoughts.

That day had been a lot for Stella. Waking up after a night of mediocre sex, only to discover a dangerous plant that turned her and her friend Patros into monstrous demons. What was maybe most upsetting was the revelation that while in that monstrous state, consumed by animalistic instincts, she and Patros had sex.

When she closed her eyes, she could almost picture the act. She could see Patros, in the demon form he unleashed on her, ramming hard into her body. She walked but could feel Patros' big member riding down her tunnel into her core.

Walking down the highway, horny for the hazy demon sex she had earlier that day: Stella's journey was off to an uncomfortable start. One step after another and she couldn't stop thinking about her and Patros fucking while demons. She didn't need to remember what their grunts sounded like while demons: she could imagine.

There were more important things to ponder; like what the flower was exactly, why had it grown, and what could it mean if the flowers were growing everywhere. Those were important things to think about, but all Stella could focus on was the fact that she had demon-boinked her good friend.

Patros was an older man, a friend but not a myuman like Stella. Stella shivered and held herself close, disgusted in herself for committing the sin of interspecies relationships. She tried to tell herself she wasn't under any control, because she wasn't, but that didn't make her feel any better.

The countryside fields turned into forest as the late afternoon turned into sunset. It was going to be a big moon that night so there would be plenty of light to navigate the afterhours, at least for a little bit.

I could walk around an extra hour or two, thought Stella.

It wasn't a good idea to be walking around at night but Stella had brought a dagger with her and she knew the lands well so she knew what kind of beasts would be roaming around the hills. Nothing she hadn't faced before.

Stella was accompanied by the occasional small mammal like a squirrel or a bird flying through the air. Bird sounds were alive, even in that evening.

There was a small cluster of mountains on the road to Renoylph. Stella peaked through the treetops to a far off peak, illuminating a peachy-pink in the last moments of sunset. Hopefully those mountains wouldn't be too cool, Stella thought.

The path ended, though. The road she had walked on since Drecker had reached an end point leading out to the forest in front of her with grass growing all over the ground and no formal sense of traversal to be seen. Had the road been grown over with grass? There weren't any organizations meant for upkeep of roads in that region so Stella assumed that was a possibility.

Stella walked through the woods keeping her eyes out for any evidence of conventional roads or naivgation. Even a sign would have been helpful. Up to that point, Stella was confident she would be able to navigate the countryside even in the dark. The road ending and her having to travel through forest, she wasn't sure she could do that easily if there weren't any roads around.

The land was getting hillier too with more bumps on the grass lands and cliffs, too. She passed by the base of a mountain, the rocky side of it with some sparse trees growing off the stone walls at an angle, like a bird resting of it could topple the thing over and make the oak fall to the ground.

Stella walked around and the forest sunk into darkness with only the last touch of the sun shining at the tops of trees and some cliffs. The forest got eerily quiet. She stared at a trio of trees wondering if any critters or birds were still awake but the tree was empty with activity.

Her paranoia woke up when she heard the piercing howl of some sort of creature coming from the distance. Which direction, she didn't know, but it didn't sound like a wolf or any regular beast, but some sort of monster that would likely be more threatening. Unfortunately, her monster lore wasn't as learned as her herbalist knowledge and she could know for sure and likely wouldn't be able to deal with such an encounter!

Hopefully, whatever the creature was, it would not roam anywhere near her, Stella thought to herself. She kept up her pace, tried her best to ignore the worry that she would have a fight on her hands.

The night grew older and the woods became darker. She had to be more careful walking around lest she tumbled down a cliff and with a dangerous creature nearby, she wasn't looking for a place to settle down for the night.

The howl was heard again. Quieter or louder, Stella couldn't tell. It was loud enough and thus close enough for be a problem, so Stella guessed which way it was coming from and went the opposite direction, going back the way she had come from.

She picked up her pace, tripping over a stone in her frantic job out of there. She retraced her footsteps to a few trees she spotted earlier and waiting to see if something followed her. Even with the orange shine of the last lights of the sun illuminating various sides of trees, it wasn't distinct enough to pick out any creatures prowling about.

Stella didn't know which way to go. Maybe it would have been best to go back to Drecker, she thought, even if she wasn't expecting any kind of fearsome monster roaming about.

She gulped and got up from the trees, moving through the woods again, although slower and far more cautiously. Veils of darkness hung from the green above.

She then looked over and she saw a figure in the darkness. Stella was paralyzed with fear, unable to shriek in fright. The creature looked six feet tall on all fours. Eyes glowed in the darkness.

It stepped forward, revealing it's dark blue body of a stony scales. It opened its mouth and out came a mighty bellow!

A terrified scream burst out of Stella but it was overpowered by the creature's howl, a howl much deeper than the one before. When the howling subsided, it approached Stella closer, eyes full of rage and a snarl on its reptilian mouth.

She could feel it's breath on her hand and that was enough of a wake up call for her to turn tail and run. She ran through the dark forest, passing by trees and whacking her shoulders on lowered branches.

Her ears were ringing and she was surprised that she still had hearing after an earth-shattering roar. She was so stunned that she forgot about her knife. She looked down at her waist and grabbed for the handle.

Upon unsheathing it, the knife got stuck in the sheath and pulled her belt up. She tried to tug it out but the sheath stuck on the knife like it was locked in. That's when Stella realized through the panic her other hand was free and used it to grab the belt while using the other to pull out the blade.

Knife in hand, she turned around from where she was running from and pointed the knife into the darkness. Where was the creature? The beast crept out of the shadows and grumbled at Stella, staring at her with a threatening gaze.

"Stay back!" Stella shouted, trying to sound as intimidating as possible.

The creature didn't still itself. With slow lumbering steps, it got closer and closer. Stella's swift swings of the knife didn't scare the predator.

Stella couldn't take its proximity any more and stepped back. Moving away didn't discourage it's advance. Stella looked around for a plan B and saw a stone on the ground. Measuring its distance from her foot, her hand, and how far down the ground was, Stella kept her eyes on the beast and kept the knife out while crouching down for a split second to pick up the stone and then snap back on her feet.

The beast kept approaching.

Stella felt the weight of the stone in her hand- a little heavy for someone her size- but she had to make it count so she switched the stone and knife and put the stone in her better hand. She leaned back to give it a whip at the creature.

Her aim was off and the stone skimmed of the creatures front legs. It grumbled, sounding very offended. It stopped its approach and then stepped backwards. Stella watched, unsure what its next move was going to be.

The beast turned around and walked away, discouraged. After a few steps, it turned back to harumph at Stella before stepping off into the distance. Surprising the young myuman lady, Stella has successfully fought it off.

Stella sighed and put her knife back in the sheath. There was a drop of blood on her shirt with a small cut on the fabric. In the haste of drawing the weapon, she nicked herself.

She made her way down to the pond and found a spot on the shore- ground that sloped right into the water. She barely had the energy to scan the horizon for any onlookers. She took off her clothes.

She took off her shirt and dipped in the water to wash off her body. She gazed at her pack... She didn't bring a towel so she'd have to use and extra shirt or something to dry herself.

She took her gaze below. The stars twinkled on the surface of the water, their pinpoint light dancing on the current. "What a day..." she said to herself.

The appearance of a demon flower spelled uncertain trouble. What really troubled Stella was the uncomfortable knowledge that she and her friend Patros had sex though.

She couldn't get the image out of her head- a demon Patros mounting her and giving her loving that she couldn't deny was good. It wasn't an experience she had while lucid but her imagination did the heavy lifting to make it real. She could feel Patros' body inside of her.

It was good, to be mounted by a demon satyr. It felt good to mate in the middle of the wilderness.

Stella reached down into the water and began rubbing her loins. The gesture was a moderate pace, she barely made any mouth noises, but it felt nice.

The moment passed and she took her hand out of her region. As she finished washing herself, there was a luminiscent glow in the distance. I hope it's not another problem, Stella hoped. But that's when she noticed it looked like a deer. No it was a deer! A shimmering deer!

Stella stilled when the creature looked at her. It was calm when Stella stared back at it. It crept around the pond's edge towards where Stella and her belongings were. Would it try to take something from her?

The glowing creature had an intelligence about it. It was curious about Stella and Stella returned that curiosity. With it being what Stella assumed was an ephemeral creature, she didn't know what kind of abilities it had, including means to harm. Stella didn't sense any hostility from it, so Stella's worry was dormant.

The deer came up to where she bathed. It bowed, "Greetings, mortal."

Its voice was gentle yet strong despite have an androgynous quality and it had an echo on it like it came from deep within a well. That wasn't shocking to Stella, not the sound of it. The fact that the creature talked at all was the surprise!

Stella turned away and dipped down into the water, "Don't peek on me!"

"What do you mean?" the deer asked, nonchalantly.

"I'm naked and bathing," said Stella, "I prefer some privacy."

The deer looked at itself, its shimmering quadraped body, "So am I."

"Us... mortals aren't so casual about nudity!" said Stella.

The deer said nothing and while it was awkward to be having a conversation in the middle of a bath, the discomfort of having someone see her naked was at worst a lingering unpleasantness. She turned around and raised herself so that her breasts were exposed.

"So... what do you want?" asked Stella.

The deer blinked, "I am curious. It's not often for mortals to be out this late around here."

"I need to get to Renoylph as quickly as possible," said Stella, "That meant leaving at night instead of the morning."

"But there are monsters about!" said the deer.

"I know..." said Stella, "I encountered one. It was a stomping beast and when it roared it scared me so bad."

"At least you are alive," said the deer, "What kind of creature was it?"

"It looked like some sort of thrall beast," said Stella, "It walked on stubby four legs and had tough scales. It had a howl like a demon!"

The deer pondered for a moment, "Are you talking about growlers? Big bodies?" The deer waited for Stella to nod, "They are mostly harmless. They only eat plants."

Stella blinked, "So I was scared to death for nothing?"

The deer chuckled.

"What are you anyway?" asked Stella.

"I am a spirit of this land," said the deer, "I've been overlooking it before your people knew how to build tents."

Stella got out of the water, apathetic at letting the creature have a full view of her naked body. She walked up to her sack and reached in for the heavy shirt she brought with her. She pulled it out and padded herself down with it. It was a bulky sweater and probably had the capacity to absorb most of the water dripping from her body.

Stella saw the ethereal creature looking at her dry herself and wondered what knowledge was hiding in that ancient brain of its.

"The reason why I am heading to Renoylph is because I discovered a strange magical plant," said Stella, "It turned me and a friend into demons, temporarily. Would you know anything about that?"

The deer thought for a moment but shook its head, "No. I only know these valleys. I have witnessed many things over the millennia but I know not of any demonic plants."

Stella placed the shirt on the ground and sat down on it, letting her feet rest in the grass. She let her body dry in the cool night air and chatted with the spirit deer for a few minutes.

After some time had passed, she got up and began transporting her stuff uphill, by a cliff. The spirit offered to watch over Stella while she slept so Stella prepared herself for the night. She transported her pants up to a branch on the cliff and hung up her shirt there too. Getting out her sleeping bag, she figured she would sleep in the nude. No one was going to come that way, she guessed.

The moon was bright that night and Stella took another moment to relax with the deer and watch it together.

"It's been a weird day for me," said Stella.

"Discovering a magic plant and turning into a demon must be unusual," said the deer.

Stella sighed deeply and looked down at her body. Her loins panged again.

"That's not the worst of it," said Stella, "While me and Patros, my satyr friend, were transformed... we... mated with each other."

The deer shifted closer, "This is a good thing, no? Do you not like mating?"

Stella held her knees close and stared at the ground, "I don't have a strong memory of when I was transformed. We went feral, actually. But I can feel what it was like..." she sighed again and dropped her hands into her lap. The shame of having sex with a satyr flared up but she told herself to ignore it. She sighed, "...and it was good."

"Are you unsettled by your inner sexual desires?" asked the deer.

Stella put a hand to her head, "I don't think so. Maybe? I've been frustrated lately. I haven't had good sex... until me and Patros turned into demons and did it like wild beasts." She stretched up, letting her breasts to the night sky, "It took turning into a demon to get some."

"Are you mating with people you find attractive?" asked the deer.

"Yeah," said Stella, "but when we get around to it, it's ok. Nothing great. It's never been as wild as when I was with Patros."

The deer walked up and put a hoof on her knee, "Then mate wildly."

The words ringed with Stella. She stared at the deer for a second, but then turned away.

The deer turned off with her. It said, "Your ancestors used to do something. They would stare out into the moon... and howl."

Stella tittered, cracking a grin, "Howl?"

The deer nodded, "They would howl at the moon and masturbate."

"Prehistoric myumans, huh?" said Stella. She looked down at herself, feeling the pang again. She wanted to touch herself.

"Did you want to give it a try?" asked the deer.

Stella bit her lip shyly, and nodded, "Yes but I would be embarrassed."

"You have nothing to be embarrassed about, young one," said the deer, "I have watched countless myumans do it. It is most exhilarating!"

Stella looked down at herself again, and with the deer watching her, she reached down and rubbed some fingers down her loins. It was a mechanical procedure at first, action without passion, but then thoughts came to her. Thoughts of a demonic Patros getting into her.

Arousal awakened in her vag. The rubbing became a hard chug, like an engine. Stella's gasps were strained and her chest rose and sunk with hefty breaths.

She could almost feel Patros inside her, the giant demon dick drilling her like a mine, and her rubbing turned into a sanding! Her arm jolted down in her loins, crackling on her vagina like a firecracker.

She groaned loudly, and hollared. She peered over at the deer to see how it was reacting and it gazed at her contently. She turned her head back to the moon and continued the pussy pummelling.

The roar of arousal beckoned and she let out a howl. It was only a test, to see how it sounded. The tone was good although she sounded like a young woman trying to howl and not like any noble beast.

She got confidence though and after digging into her cooch with a rough churn and an orgasm fired up her hole, she tilted her head back and let out a mighty howl! It could have come from a myuman or it could have come from a kind of dog, but it was a sustained pierce through the night sky, echoing over the mountains.

Her eyes closed, she imagined Patros humping into her and cumming with her as the young myuman woman howled across the cool night landscape.

Cum rushed from her. The beast inside roared and juice spritzed out of her nethers, cutting between her fingers and sprinkling her sleeping bag! It splashed on her legs and oozed from her fingers.

She intercut grunts with a moderate howl and rubbed at herself until she emanated all she could emanate. Her libido calmed and her breathing slowed and her arms collapsed. It was a nice cum.

After her cum was over, she wiped her hands on the grass and thanked the deer. The deer complimented her on a fine howl on her first try and suggested another although Stella was too tired. Cuddling into her sleeping bag, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
