Chapter 2 - The Tiger and the Fox's Visit

It has been two days since Sola arrived at Kitt's house and by then, she has perfected the use of her abilities and how to act naturally outside. The date is now Thursday, which means Max's scheduled visit is today!

"Ugh... I shouldn't have stayed up all night playing... But I feel strangely relaxed... What date is it today anyways? Thursday? Mina said Max will come over a few days earlier than her and he didn't come yesterday, so he will probably come today! Nova! Sola! Max is coming today! Wait... where are they?"

"We're right here!"

Nova and Sola had actually disguised themselves as Kitt's pillows in their small slime form and after Kitt went to rest after a long night of playing, they put him into a deep sleep to massage his sore body without any disturbance.

"Oh there you are! What are you doing as my pillows? And where's my own pillows?"

Nova and Sola spat them out of their body in perfect condition and the two transformed back into their full form.

"There they are! So what were you doing last night? Why were you my pillows?"

"You looked very tired last night, so me and Sola massaged your body for you to feel better."

"Yes! How do you feel, Kitt?"

"I feel alright for the most part. Definitely better than when I went to sleep. So anyways, Max will most likely come here today!"

"Max? Is he the tiger cat that I saw in Nova's memories?"

"Yes, he is one of my sister's colleagues who works as one of her partners. Her other partner is a lustful fox god that I never want to see again after what happened to me and her..."

"So this fox must be Luna? Don't worry Kitt! I'll protect you from her!"

"Protect me by keeping her away from me, not killing her okay?"

"Okay..."

The three get up and prepare for the day, with Kitt cooking up breakfast while Sola and Nova browse the web to find even more powers to copy.

"I'll go first!"

Nova types out a phrase associated with his creation specialty and immediately finds several old weapons like crossbows, muskets, and katanas.

"I found something I can actually recreate! Alright Sola, it's your turn." "Hmm... try searching... very big guns."

"Let's try it..."

After Nova typed in the phrase into the search bar, the internet provided them with a huge gallery of sniper rifles, machine guns, and explosive weapons for Sola to copy.

"Wow! Look at them all! There's so many!"

"Try copying them all!"

Sola activates her powers which summons her tactical armor to prepare her now more efficient power of creation. The room suddenly filled with a bright light and after it had faded, several military grade weapons that Sola had produced were all lying on the floor.

"Nova, Sola, breakfast is ready! Huh? What was that light?"

Kitt had come upstairs to call the two for breakfast but was surprised with the shenanigans the two were up to.

"What the! Where did all of these come from? A pink musket and a yellow gatling gun? Did the two of you make these?"

"Yes we did! We were looking up more things to make and here are some of the ones we found!"

"You can't just have these lying around! Get rid of them before they go off and destroy the house!"

The two dragons dispel their weapons with a visible frown on their faces.

"Were they not good enough, master?"

"They looked amazing, but we can't just have them lying around the house. But we can definitely take them out for a spin at Mina's base where they have an entire shooting gallery for us to play around in. Now, Sola, come downstairs and eat first, I hope Max will let us come to their base when he arrives."

The three head down to eat and while they were eating, a knock comes from the door.

"Is it Max? It is! Hello! Max! You came!"

"Heya Kitt! Huh? How did you know?"

"Oh, Mina told me you would come to check up on my progress with Sola. Come inside, I'll introduce you to her!"

Seeing their new visitor, Sola quickly finishes her plate and gets up to greet Max.

"Hello Max! My name is Sola and I am Kitt's new servant!"

"Wow... I didn't expect you to be so energetic seeing someone new. But I guess not all slime dragons from space are the same."

Nova glances at Max and feels something off as if it's not Max, but a different person but doesn't pay much mind to the slight change. After greeting Max, Sola sits at the sofa, observantly watching her potentially new friend.

"Kitt, there's something I need to tell you in private. Can we do it in your bedroom?"

"Oh, sure thing."

The two cats then go upstairs to have their private chat, leaving Nova and Sola downstairs.

"Sola, I think there's something wrong with Max. He doesn't feel like the one I met before."

"You're probably just imagining it. Maybe you've forgotten how he smells or something."

"No, there's definitely something off and he also has another familiar smell, but I can't put my finger on it."

Max enters Kitt's bedroom to talk to him but suspiciously locks the door on his way in.

"So Max, what did you want to talk about?"

"I wanted to ask you if you would like to have fun with my tails again."

"What? Your tails?"

Max suddenly makes an ominous grin at Kitt, as if he had been waiting for them to be alone all this time.

"Huh? What did you mean by that?"

The mysterious impostor finally reveals themself, which turned out to be Luna who had disguised herself as Max while the real Max had just arrived downstairs.

"Hm? Who's there?"

"Hey Nova! I'm here to check on Sola. Where's Kitt?"

With the real Max who had just arrived in front of him, Nova finally gets his confirmation that the Max that they had let in was not the real one and with a glow from his moon tattoo that signaled Kitt being in danger, Nova rushes up stairs and breaks down the bedroom door seeing Luna playing with Kitt's sleeping body.

"Oh Kitt... I missed you so much... don't leave me ever again..."

"What the- Luna! Let go of master!"

"Crap! The pesky servant is here!"

But before Luna could even react, Nova uses his telekinesis to completely restrain her and carry Kitt back to his side.

"Why are you back here!? Master never wanted to see you again!"

"Ngh... Damn you Nova..."

"What's going on up there? Nova? Who's in there?"

"Luna disguised herself as you and tried to force herself on master again!"

"Huh? Luna's here? How did she get here?"

While Nova and Max converse, Luna tries to break free from Nova's grasp, but he quickly notices her struggling and instead puts her to sleep using all of his power, once again bypassing her protection against mental attacks.

"Nova! Don't leave me down there! What are you doing up here? Who's that fox on the bed? And why is Kitt naked?"

"It's Luna, the fox that master was talking about and who he never wanted to see again. She's a creep who wants to steal him from me!"

"How does Luna keep getting to Kitt without anybody noticing? Sigh... it's a good thing you stopped her before it got worse. Now what are we gonna do with her?"

"I'll force her to treat master with respect."

"Huh? Are you gonna rewire her brain? Hasn't Kitt warned you not to control people?"

"Max, If I don't do this, Luna will never learn to act normal around Kitt. Don't worry, it'll only be for a day."

Nova approaches the unconscious Luna and holds his hand above her forehead, dripping a bit of slime that goes inside her brain to make Luna less lustful and treat Kitt more like a normal cat like Max. Shortly after, Kitt finally wakes up from Luna's sleeping spell.

"Kiya! No! I don't want to!!! Ah! I'm awake! Where's Luna! Get her away from me!"

"Don't worry master, I have saved you and put Luna to sleep."

"Ah, thank you Nova! I felt like I was about to die again!"

"Hey Kitt uh... you should put some clothes on."

"Oh Max! The real one? Oh, I'm naked!"

Kitt quickly takes his clothes on the floor and rushes to the bathroom to get dressed after being embarrassingly seen naked by Max.

"Much better! Now, how did Luna look like you?"

"Well I thought you knew what kitsunes were capable of? They can shapeshift too, you know?"

"Oh, I didn't get that far when I read about them."

"Ooh! A new friend! She's still sleeping though..."

"Let me wake her up then."

Nova lets Luna wake up after changing her brain to make her act truthful and harmless.

"Eee! Nova, why did you wake her up? She's gonna try to put me to sleep again!"

"It's okay master, she shouldn't hurt you now."

"Ough... What happened... Why am I in someone's bedroom... Oh! Hi Kitt! Is this your bedroom?"

"Err... Hi Luna..."

"Why are you so gloomy? I thought Mina's brother was very lively, especially when drunk!"

"Um... I'll be right back."

Kitt goes downstairs with Nova following after him, leaving Sola and Max to talk with the newly reformed Luna. "

Hey Max! You're here too? And who's that next to you? Is that Sola? The one I heard Mina talk to you about to check on this Thursday?"

"Yeah, she's Sola."

Max has a small inner monologue about how Luna managed to know about Sola without him or Mina telling her and Kitt's house when she wasn't even supposed to come with him.

"Hi Luna! Why does Kitt not want to see you ever again?"

"Hmm... I think it's when I tried to force myself onto him which got me into a fight with Nova and... when I put him to sleep twice when we went on a mission to find a staff of frost. I hope he can forgive me though."

"Wow! How did you fight Nova and not get completely destroyed? And how did you put Kitt to sleep? Do you have mind control too?"

"Well I obviously lost to Nova and for the whole putting Kitt to sleep par. I used my nine tails here, but I can't seem to use any of my magic. I wonder why I can't?"

"Ooh! Let me copy your tails!"

"These two should not be allowed to be talking together..."

Max overlooks the dangerous sharing of ideas of the two while Nova is with Kitt downstairs trying to console him for his fear of Luna's repeated violations against him.

"No I can't... I can't act like nothing happened between me and Luna... even if you did change her to be nicer to me, I'll never forget what she did to me!"

Kitt seemed to had developed PTSD from Luna's actions and cowers on the sofa with Nova reassuring him that he can help Kitt in some way.

"Well... do you want me to make you forget?"

"If you can... then go ahead... maybe just make me forget what happened today, and if you do, make Max forget too and give him a fake memory that he came here with Luna instead."

With Kitt's irreversible decision made, Nova makes a clone to call Max to come downstairs to erase his memory along with Kitt.

"Huh? There's two Novas? Oh it disappeared!."

"Max, sit next to Kitt with me."

"What's wrong? Is everything okay?"

Max sits beside Nova with him in the middle, he puts his hands on both of their heads and with a glow, he starts the process of his memory wipe.

"Hey! What are you doing Nova? Why do I feel... so... sleepy... zzz..."

The three fall unconscious on the sofa with Kitt going into each of their minds to steal their memories instead of actually wiping them. All this time, Kitt had been taking people's memories instead of wiping them, letting him combine the memories of everyone's mind he had stolen from and with this power, he fabricates a new memory to implant into Max after making him forget Luna's unplanned arrival at Kitt's house.

"Ugh... What happened..."

"Max! What are you doing with Nova and Kitt? I thought you were here to test out Sola's capabilities while Mina was out monster hunting? She said her current mission is gonna take a week so you'll be the one to fill in for her routine."

"Oh! I was? I feel like I forgot something more important than that..."

"Eee! Luna is here!"

Seeing Luna in front of him, Kitt hides behind Nova and Max who were still sitting down. But now that Kitt's bad experiences with Luna had been reduced, it would still be possible to have a normal relationship with her.

"Kitt? Why are you so scared of me? Is it about what I did before? I'm very sorry about that..."

"Uh... okay I guess... just don't wrap me up with your tails without my permission, okay?" "

Of course! I would never do anything bad to Mina's brother!"

"But you just did a second ago-"

Nova quickly shushes Sola to not possibly bring back the memories he had stolen.

"I guess now that we're all here, we can go back to the base now."

And with the same procedure as before, they all go behind Kitt's house where Max calls in their portal and takes them to their base.

"Wow! This place looks amazing!"

Sola exclaimed with great amusement while admiring the wonderful design of their base.

"And there's more people here! Uh oh, I forgot to change!"

"It's okay Sola, you don't need to change into your disguise. Some of the people that work here are special creatures like us, so they wouldn't think we're out of the ordinary. In fact, they just see us as special guests brought by Max and Luna to their base."

After Sola's admiration of their base, Max takes them to their training grounds where their shooting range is also located with many other beasts training with their firearms. When they had arrived, Max turned pale after seeing that a nemesis of his is there as well who's named Riel, a muscular full blooded tiger that he had trouble with before for being belittled as a weird cat tiger hybrid through a curse.

"Look who it is, Max, with his entourage of misfits. You're so lucky to be Mina's lapdog since if you weren't, I'd have you beat up so badly you'd never want to come back here ever again."

"Fuck off Riel... Why don't you ever leave me alone?"

"Because the beauty of a specimen Luna is always by your side!"

"Eww... Why would I ever date someone like you when I have Kitt right here? Now move it! We have important business to attend to."

"Heh, like what? Wander around the base aimlessly?"

Seeing Riel's disrespect, Nova stands up to him for Max and Luna.

"Hey, you're treading a thin line. I don't appreciate disrespect towards my friends."

"And who are you? You must be a new rookie foolishly trying to stand up to an officer so I'll teach you your place!"

Riel tries to punch Nova, but he counters with his own punch. Even though the size difference is obvious, it was hard to believe that Riel was the one to be pushed back by Nova's counter.

"Damn unruly recruit, fighting back against an officer! You'll be sorry after this!!"

Before Riel could ready another punch, Nova uses his telekinesis to hold him by the throat and starts to choke him out.

"Nova! Don't kill him!"

The other beasts around them gather around seeing this shiny scarlet red dragon bring one of their toughest officers to his knees.

"Oh I won't kill him, I'll just show him how having power doesn't mean you can abuse it."

Nova tightens his hold on Riel's throat until he eventually passes out and collapses and Nova while had been choking him out, someone had called the guards to stop the situation.

"Hey! Stop right there! Huh? Max is here? Looks like the two got into a fight again... Hey medical team? Max and Riel were fighting in the shooting range and it seems like Max won. Mhm, nothing too serious, just bring some nurses here to take Riel to the clinic. Sorry for the misunderstanding Sir Max, and I guess congratulations on winning against Riel. It was very depressing seeing you lose to him many times before, so I'm proud that you have gotten your revenge."

The guards salute to Max and go back to their posts with the spectators of the fight returning to their own training with the nurses coming shortly after to take Riel away.

"Wow... Thank you Nova for saving me from that potentially embarrassing situation."

"No problem! I'll protect anyone who master considers as his friend!"

"Riel is such a weirdo, he keeps trying to flirt with me even though I've told him before that I'm into younger, smaller beasts like Kitt here."

With this sharing of her likes and distaste over with, Luna gets one of her tails to rub against Kitt as her sign of interest to him, but doesn't put Kitt to sleep like before.

"Erm... Luna, please don't rub your tail against me..."

"Oh, sorry!"

After that little scuffle with Riel, they finally get back on track to test out Sola's capabilities in the same chamber where Max tested Nova's powers but this time Max and Sola are the ones inside with Nova, Kitt, and Luna are in the control booth along with the black cat that operates it.

"Wow! This place is huge!"

"Yep, the perfect place for any beast to test out their skills. So now, go and show me yours."

"Have a look!"

Sola summons her tactical uniform and many of her copied weapons around them, easily amounting to the hundreds and maybe even a thousand firearms which lay scattered on the floor, ready for Max to inspect each one. Kitt watches over from a distance and feels a bit of nostalgia from Sola's power which reminded him of an anime he watched about magical cats with one of them being a gun using time stopper.

"Wow! How did you think of all of these weapons to make?"

"Nova helped me find guns to copy on the internet!"

"Ah, so that's how you found them. So how strong are these guns? I assume they're as capable as Nova's weapons, seeing as you literally made them using your own powers."

"Well... find out for yourself!"

Max picks up one of Sola's rifles and signals to the black cat to summon some targets for him to shoot at.

"Hmm... they're nothing like Nova's weapons at all and their destructive power is just like the real thing."

"Just keep shooting and you'll find out what differentiates them from Nova's weapons!"

More targets pop up to shoot with Max downing each one but notices that even after the 50th target had been shot, the rifle that he had been shooting did not need to reload at all.

"Oh! I'm guessing your ability is to create guns with unlimited ammo?"

"Yup! Now try one of the knives or metal sticks I made."

The rifle Max was holding suddenly disperses back and envelops him which then shapes itself to the same special forces uniform that Sola is wearing.

"Hey! I can't see a thing!"

Sola helps out Max by turning on the night vision goggles on his head.

"Oh! They were night vision goggles? And am I wearing your armor?"

"Yup! I wouldn't want you to get hurt swinging my weapons around."

The cat operator summons a dummy for Max to attack, and just like before, the weapon completely atomizes the dummy, leaving only its top part intact.

"Wow! So powerful! I can see why you wanted to keep me safe from this. Does it shoot blades of energy like Kitt?"

"Unfortunately I can't seem to make it work the same way as Kitt which is the same for him as well. He tried to copy modern weaponry but always ended up with an unusable result. It seems that we each have different masteries of weapon creation with his being old weapons while mine is for new weapons!"

After using Sola's energy knife, Max eyes up a grenade launcher on the ground and picks it up to test it out.

"Oh, uh... Be careful with that Max, I don't know if explosive weapons will have the same properties as guns that use bullets..."

"Surely it'll be fine, right?"

Max fired a shell into the distance and after it had struck the ground, it exploded, but instead of a traditional fiery explosion, the explosion was a slowly growing ball of light which once it had dissipated, left a perfect spherical crater that had vaporized the floor.

"Wow! It completely disintegrated the tough floor!"

"Uh... now that we know what it does, I'll be taking that away so we don't cause any major accidents."

Sola snaps her fingers and all of the guns disappear along with the body armor that Max was wearing.

"Aww... Well that was great seeing your powers first hand. And I heard you will be Mina's 3rd partner as her own servant?"

"Yes! Kitt wanted me to serve her sister because he said he couldn't feed me and Nova alone so he wanted me to be with Mina instead."

"I think you'll be perfect to be working with us!"

"Really? Thank you!"

Sola hugs Max tightly and gives him a gooey kiss on the cheek as a thanks for his accepting demeanor.

"Ah, not too tight! Your arms are so strong I can feel my stiff spine crackling!"

"Oops! Sorry!"

Sola quickly lets go of Max before she fully breaks his spine. After their testing with Sola's abilities, Max makes a log for it and thanks the three for their cooperation and sends them back home.

"Ough... what am I doing back at the base? I swear I was on my way to Kitt's house to play with him."

"You were what?"

After they had left, Nova had returned Luna back to her original personality which accidentally let her thoughts slip out and be heard by Max.

"Yay we're back home! And it's almost dinner time! Kitt, I'm hungry! Give me some of your semen!"

"Uh well... Let's do it in the bedroom and not outside okay?"

"Master! I'm hungry too!"

"Oh no... You can't do this to me..."

The two hungry dragon's eyes glow in sync, letting Kitt know that tonight will be a terrible night.
