Toms & Queens: Chapter 2

, , , , ,

So, Echo found her mystery boy and saved him from Neon's clutches. It looks like things are settled - for the moment, at least. But who is he, and how did he wind up in Everlasting Fantasies High Rise? More importantly, how will he take to the life that's suddenly been thrust upon him? Keep reading to find out!

Now well past closing, Echo had gone back down to the salon in hopes of finding Neon still there with the boy. This was a fruitless venture, however, and upon finding that it was closed just like every other floor at this time of night would be, she headed back to the elevator. Once inside, she found herself staring at the elevator buttons and struggling to choose a floor, and at that point, she realized how worked up she really was.

"This is silly," she reprimanded herself audibly, bringing a hand up to brush her long, strawberry blonde bangs out of her face. "Buff's right; he's not the first person Neon's gotten her claws into, and certainly not the first I've seen. I don't know what's gotten into me." Hesitantly, she reached a hand out toward her floor, but stopped just shy of actually pressing the button, "If I had any common sense left in me, I'd go back to my flat and wait until morning to ask Neon about him..."

By this point whatever had been done to the boy was done, and he'd been tucked away somewhere, but there was something that had latched onto Echo from the start, a horrible, niggling feeling that just wouldn't leave her alone. For some god-forsaken reason, she _needed_to know he was all right, even if that knowledge was only momentary, and that realization only served to irritate her further. Why?

Finally, she jabbed her index finger against the button for the twenty-eighth floor. That was that; she'd drop it for the night, and resume this stupidity in the morning - but to what end? She'd find out that Neon had done some god-awful things to him, and intended to do more, and... And what? "And" she didn't care. Whatever he'd done to get himself on the mafia's bad side had surely been his own doing, and at the very least, Neon wasn't into snuffing her playthings. No; Echo would go home, get a good night's rest, and she'd likely forget all about it by morning, simple as that. "Just let it go..." she breathed, taking a moment to center herself. She could still feel something within her fighting, but with one last figurative kick it vanished, just as it had when she'd taken the stage earlier.

In the middle of trying to decide whether she was hungry enough to eat dinner, and what was potentially left in the fridge, the elevator doors opened. Lost in her own thoughts, Echo nearly ran into Juniper as she attempted to exit, but as she returned to reality, she realized something must be troubling the other woman, she seemed just as thoughtful. "Oh! I'm sorry, June. Were you going down?"

The tomboyish brown Tabby shrugged, "I guess. Ginger isn't home yet, so I figured she might need a hand, or something." Echo couldn't help but smile; for all the pair that shared her floor liked to bicker in public, it was still obvious how much they cared for one another. Still, it was odd that Ginger wasn't home yet.

That nagging sensation resurfaced, poking at the back of Echo's mind until she finally couldn't take it anymore, "Why don't we both head down to the nursery and look for her? I wanted to ask her something, anyway." It was doubtful, but maybe Ginger had seen the boy at some point that evening. Besides, for whatever reason, she found that she simply didn't want to go home yet.

Again, June shrugged. For as long as Echo had known her, Juniper had always been a woman of very few words, but nothing about her body language indicated that she had an issue with her tagging along. With that in mind, Echo moved aside so that she could join her in the elevator, and with a quick button press, the pair soon found themselves on the eighth floor.

Adding to the plethora of sensations that didn't feel quite right that evening, Echo quickly realized that something unusual was going on as they exited the lift. A quick glance around the colorful floor revealed that most of the lights were off - as they should be - but a few inside the nursery remained on. June wasted no time exiting the elevator behind her, heading straight for the main entrance as she called out for her partner, "Ginge?"

"I'm over here, June..." Usually full of warmth, Ginger's tone sounded tired and flat tonight, but it only took a second to spot the orange Tabby cat in her favorite rocking chair, holding something all bundled up in a blanket on her lap.

"What's going on? I thought for sure you'd be straight home after work. After all, you seemed damn set on me making dinner tonight." Haughtiness laced June's words, but a trained ear could tell there was some concern mingled in there, as well. Everyone's eyes seemed concentrated on the blanketed shape. Or was that Echo's imagination?

"I would have been," the exceptionally curvy Tabby protested, "but Neon paid an...unexpected visit to the nursery a few hours ago, and..." Slowly, she pulled the blanket down, revealing a small boy. She shrugged, "I can't just leave him here, June..."

This was a surprising turn of events, to be sure. Of all the places Echo had thought the boy might turn up, the nursery had certainly not been one of them. Taking a step closer, she took in his appearance for the first time. Neon had been right to say that he was fluffy, though what fur she could see at present looked a little worse for wear. What immediately caught her attention, however, was the lack of a collar. Her employer had been quick to assure her that, despite his small stature, the boy was of-age, but if he was without a collar, how could that be? It made the suspiciously sticky-looking appearance of his fur that much more rage-inducing to the Ragdoll. The muffled cries through the oversized ball gag that had been locked around his head did little he assuage her, either.

"Where is she?"

Both women looked at Echo, but all Ginger could do was shake her head, "I don't know... I figured she'd be back by now, but..." She trailed off, bringing a hand up to gently run her fingers through his dark brown hair. "I don't know what drug Neon gave him, but he's a miserable vegetable, that's for sure. Plus, he badly needs a change..."

Echo blinked at that, "A change?" Come to think of it, why had Neon brought him to the nursery of all places? Immediately, she realized the answer, 'Humiliation...'

"Yeah; like I said, Neon showed up with him a couple of hours ago... I don't know what he did to piss her off, but she insisted that I 'treat him like the little bitch baby he is', and just dropped him in my lap before storming off..." Her usually gentle, earthy-green hues conveyed her utter dismay with the situation as she looked up from her charge, but she was quick to continue, "So, I did what comes naturally, but just about the time I finished adjusting his tapes, the phone rang. It was one of her...people... He was very clear that "Mistress Neon" didn't want me to change him if he made any sort of mess or_give him any sort of "special treatment". He was being "punished" - for god only knows what I might add..." She groaned, "I've managed to wipe him down a little bit just by holding him, but... Ugh. He's a real mess! I can't believe Neon would just hand him over to someone covered in...what he's covered in! To top it off, I saw his _downstairs situation while I was changing him, and he'd already had a bad night... The poor thing..."

"Well that's shit..." June interjected into the silence that followed.

For a moment, Echo thought she might boil over. Not only had Neon used and abused this boy, but she'd then given him to someone else with the express purpose to further humiliate him, and then told that person not to help him? Enough was enough. Turning on her heels, the taller feline headed back towards the entrance.

"Where are you going, Echo?" Ginger's words rang with concern, but before she had a chance to respond, a familiar voice broke in.

"Looking for me, Miss St. Claire?" Dressed as though she'd just returned from a party - not unusual given the time and day - Neon was draped casually against the doorframe. How long had she been there? Judging by the horrible grin stretching across her face, Echo was sure it had been "long enough".

"Yes, in fact I was," she answered coolly. Unwilling to give the other woman the satisfaction of rehashing everything she was certain she'd already overheard, the Ragdoll pressed on, "How much?"

The way her tacky, glowstick jewelry illuminated her face in shades of green and yellow as she laughed made her look much more sinister in the darkness of the doorway, which Echo realized was likely why she'd chosen to perch there. Finally, she paused to take in a breath as she wiped tears from her eyes, "'How much'? Did it really take putting a pitiful little twink in diapers to make you feel bad enough to step in? I didn't realize that's where your interests lay!"

The raucous laughter began again, which only served to add fuel to Echo's flames. That was alright, though; she could try to humiliate her all she wanted, it wasn't going to work. "You clearly don't want him, Neon - you've said so, yourself. _ How much _?"

"This is just priceless, Echo, really it is. After your last failed venture, I thought for sure you'd never love again." Placing both hands over her heart, she pretended to look brokenhearted before that wicked smile returned. In the end, it turned into a staring contest, and Echo wasn't going to give her boss the satisfaction she craved. At long last, Neon crossed both arms over her generous chest, "Fine. Tell ya what; I can smell his shit from here. Change his diaper on your own, and I'll officially call him yours. If this bitch baby is worth that much to you, I'll let you _have_him, but only since you're such a good employee." The mocking tone in her voice indicated that this was still just a game to her, but the fact that she outstretched a hand made this a proper deal.

Closing the gap between the two without a second's hesitation, Echo sealed the deal with a firm handshake, "Fine." Inwardly, she wondered if she should have pretended to be disgusted. Having a sibling nearly ten years younger than herself meant that she had plenty of experience changing messy diapers. True, this situation was a little bit different, but the joke was on Neon.

As she turned back to her coworkers, the pair only looked at her with confusion, but as she bent to take the small boy from Ginger, the grin on her face spoke for her. "You go, girl!" she whispered, disentangling his claws from her shirt.

Echo breathed a soft, "Thank you" in response before rising. Surprisingly, the boy was heavier than he looked; not so heavy that she couldn't lift him, of course, but solidly built. His fingers worked slowly and clumsily in a vain attempt to grip her dress shirt, and his teal-green eyes were glazed over, though tears still pooled in the corners of them. 'She couldn't break him, so she used drugs to get him to do what she wanted him to, instead...'

This close, she could smell what remained of what she was sure was an expensive cologne, though whether that had been on him from the start, or it had rubbed off on him from one of the many "gentlemen" he'd dealt with that night remained a mystery. Whatever the case, it required very little effort on her part to carry him to the adult-sized changing table against one of the pastel-colored walls. 'Just hold on a little longer, okay...? You'll be alright...'

Obviously too out of it to properly protest or do anything about his situation, he still seemed very displeased with being laid on his back. Echo could take a few guesses why - none of them good - but that was neither here nor there. "Easy..." she soothed softly, "I'm not going to hurt you." More muffled cries gave her the distinct impression he didn't believe her, and she couldn't blame him, but there was very little he could do, and judging from what else she could smell this close to him Ginger had been right; he badly needed a change.

His hands awkwardly fumbled for hers in a vain attempt to stop her as she buckled the safety strap around his waist, and again as she attempted to undo the tapes of the saggy, formerly white, disposable diaper. Given his current state, it took very little effort to catch and hold both of his hands with one of hers, and then deftly undo the tapes with her free hand. He made a half-hearted attempt at coiling his tail around one of her arms but it soon fell limply against the table again. Not about to examine the contents of said diaper any closer than she had to, she moved her hand to his ankles, scooping them up to simultaneously lift and keep him still so that she could use what clean part of the diaper remained to wipe some of the excrement off him before wadding the thing up and tossing it into the waste bin beside her. With the worst of it out of the way, she reached for a couple of baby wipes, and started to carefully clean him up. His anus looked angry and swollen, and dribbles of cum mixed with blood were still slowly oozing out. There was no doubt in her mind that he'd had been torn, but until she could get him to the infirmary, there was no telling how bad the damage was. At the very least, he didn't appear to have prolapsed. On the other hand, his shaft appeared to have been completely neglected. "Almost done..." she offered gently.

It took a few wipes - his fur really was quite long - but at long last he was sufficiently clean, and Echo turned to face her employer, "There. Done. Now, I believe we have some business to discuss?"

"Not going to wrap your cute, little present back up?" she snorted.

"Seeing as he'll be going to the infirmary now, I see no point."

In a mock sort of defensiveness mingled with exasperation, Neon threw her hands up, "Alright, alright; whatever you want. Let's just get this done and over with - I have other pets that need attention, and this little shit isn't worth losing beauty sleep over!"

A wave of personal satisfaction washed over the Ragdoll as she gave her boss a singular nod. She'd won, and although she had no intention of owning the boy, he was now in her care, which couldn't possibly be worse than Neon's version of it. "Thank you." Returning her attention to the small feline on the changing table, she undid the belt around his waist, but before she could lift him Ginger was at her side.

"I'll get this awful gag off and take him to Felicity; you two go on ahead." Before she could voice any kind of protest, the orange Tabby had already unbuckled the contraption, leaving it on the changing table where it fell. Just as quickly, she bundled him back up in the blanket and carefully lifted him. June looked as though she had a few choice things she'd like to say, but she too was barreled over and herded toward the door before any real comment could be made.

"Shall we, then?" Her tone was still flirty, but Neon looked less amused by the second. Echo merely nodded in agreement and followed her through the door.

It was an uncomfortably silent twenty-two floor elevator ride up to her employer's suite at the very top of the building, but Echo filled the silence in her mind by repeatedly telling herself that she'd done the right thing. 'He's safe now...' she mentally sighed for the final time as both women exited the confined space. 'He's safe now, and that's all that matters...'

This time a ghastly, puce-colored feline answered the door for his mistress and was promptly grabbed by his collar and pulled in close. Whatever Neon whispered into his ear caused his face to turn a contrary greenish color before he hurriedly scampered away, nearly tripping and falling on his face as he did so. The horrible laugh her employer gave in response was pure schadenfreude, but at least her mood seemed to have improved. "Come on, Echo; I don't have all night!" With that, the Ragdoll quickly followed her inside, where she was immediately prompted to make herself comfortable on a brightly colored couch that matched the rest of the household decor. Neon always had a penchant for gaudy things that would glow under a blacklight. Why would her furniture be any different?

Momentarily, the woman disappeared into another room, displacing a few - Pets? Servants? - people, who likely darted out before they could be properly identified and punished for being in the wrong place at the right time. At any rate, it wasn't long before her boss was handing her a manila folder and a small stack of paperwork. "It's all pretty self-explanatory, and you're a smart girl. Just bother one of these fuckers if you need help. I'm hungry and craving a catnip cooler."

Oh no, she wasn't going to get away that easily. "That's all well and good, and I'm certain that I can handle it, but where is his collar, Neon? If he's really over eighteen he should have a collar by now."

Already halfway to what Echo could only assume was the kitchen, her boss didn't even turn around as she shrugged, "Hell if I know; one of the goons that handed him over ripped it off before leaving. There's a section for a name on the papers; just put "Lil Twat Waffle" or whatever floats your boat in there. Besides, he's not fucking trained at all- just so you know - so he'll be fitted with a training collar tomorrow, anyway; cool your jets." With that, she rounded the corner into the room, where she shrieked something that sounded very much like 'get out', and another small cluster of men shot in various directions, all too eager to obey. Peering down at the papers on her lap, she hoped this wouldn't take long, being around this woman for too long gave her the worst headache.

As she scanned over the paperwork they'd filled out earlier, it legitimately seemed that the "goons" Neon had spoken of had gone out of their way to avoid giving as much information about the boy as they could, but perhaps that was simple laziness on her employer's part. Whatever the case, there was no prior name given, and no assets appeared to have been seized; he might as well have been a John Doe. Echo did find it odd, however, that they listed him as being twenty-one. If he really did have a collar, then he must be eighteen at least, but even that seemed like a stretch. With a sigh, she filed away yet another question to ask the boy when he was properly cognitive. That still left him without a name, however, and if Neon was serious about getting him a new collar, it'd need one for it to be recognized as official.

This was agony. She was trying to name a complete stranger and felt an intense amount of pressure to not screw it up. How did parents name their children? Closing her eyes, she tried to recall any sort of details she might be able to use to come up with something. Of course, he could always change it back to whatever his real name was later, but she wanted him to have something dignified in the meantime. Finally, it dawned on her - the cologne. She'd recognized that it was an expensive brand, and unless she wildly missed her mark, it was the ever-popular D'Prince scent. Given that it was really the only thing she could pin down in relation to him, 'Prince' would simply have to do as a name. At least it wasn't something slapdash like "fluffy".

It didn't take long for Echo to find herself at the very bottom of the final page, but before she signed her name on the buyer's signature line, she made sure to check everything over one last time. For whatever reason, she felt nervous. 'I'm doing the right thing...' she reminded herself yet again. With that finished, the deed was done. Rising from her place on the couch, Echo took a step in the direction she'd last seen her boss go, but yet another oddly-colored feline appeared from seemingly nowhere to take the paperwork from her, insisting that he would make sure that his mistress received it when she had finished her meal. Something about that didn't seem "official", but perhaps it was for the best. With a bow of her head, she thanked the man, and started for the door. She had more important things to see to now, anyway.

Before she could leave, however, Neon caught up with her, rudely snatching the paperwork from the man and giving him a firm smack with it, which sent him running as well. "'Prince?' Really? How uncreative... I had higher hopes for you, Echo, but given that he's your first bitch, I'll let it slide." Opening her mouth to protest, Echo was cut off as the other woman continued, "Right, right... Everything looks good!" Peering up from the paperwork, she quickly blew a stray bang out of her face before giving her a knowing smirk, "But I see you left his training section blank... You know he's gotta pass at least one course before he's officially yours and you can set him free, right? At least, that's what I assume you're intending to do? So, what's it gonna be, St. Claire? BDSM? Pet Play? Sissification? Something fun, I hope?"

In truth, she'd left that field blank on purpose, hoping Neon would miss it and give her at least until the following afternoon to figure out where the best place for him would be. Without knowing anything about the boy, it was impossible to say what he found objectionable, though from what she had seen earlier that day, she highly doubted he'd have an interest in being tied up or controlled by yet another random stranger. What would be the least invasive thing possible? "ABDL." It was the only thing she could think of that required the learning of zero sexual skills to pass, plus Echo knew she could trust Ginger. Anything was better than letting Cabbie have him right off the bat.

The aptly named feline rolled her eyes before jotting something down. "Boring, but fine, it's your choice in fetish," she sighed.

It took every fiber of her being not to roll her eyes in return but Echo managed. This wasn't about any of that to her, it was simply about helping this poor boy. "Thank you."

Tiredly, Neon waved her off before turning, "Whatever. Good luck with the little bitch. Maybe after a few days of dealing with him you'll decide to do something more creative with him. I'll be here when you change your mind. Oh - and by the by, I acquired him under the stipulation that I keep him quiet and out of the way, or else. Maybe keep your baby bitch boy on a tight leash? 'Kay thanks, bye." With that, she tossed the files haphazardly into what Echo thought must have been her sitting room, and returned to the kitchen, where she shouted for someone, who came running a split-second later. Perhaps it would be wise to take her leave now.

Back out in the hallway, the Ragdoll made a beeline for the elevator, punching yet another button for what felt like the hundredth time that day. This time she made her way to the fourteenth floor, where the infirmary was housed. Leaning back against the wall, Echo closed her eyes and took a deep breath. As she exhaled, she silently hoped everything had gone smoothly after she'd left.
