Chapter 32: Learning to Stop

Inden flew fast over the jungle, and though Elele's pretty, shapely body was held tight in his arms, though he knew that Sylas was probably with his childhood sweetheart, he couldn't stop thinking of Wynn. He had left her down there, had left her in uncertainty, and if Sylas failed to come, then Inden had left her to the certain fate of being captured by those pygmy creatures! No, he hadn't left her. He couldn't. As his eyes searched the treetops for some safe place to set Elele, he could hear and smell the pygmies racing after below. He could hear the trees rustling as they climbed them. The first pygmy's head broke the surface and he lifted a crossbow, aimed it at Inden, and shouted something shrilly. More heads appeared, scowling, yelling, the wind blowing their braided manes in their eyes as they aimed.

Inden reluctantly soared higher. He had been hoping to keep Wynn's scent by flying low, but with the emergence of the pygmies in the trees, he was forced to rise.

"The cliffs!" Elele shouted over the steady beat of Inden's wings. "Pygmies won't climb them!"

Inden nodded and spread his wings for the turn. He glided around in a half-circle, and arrows fired past. One zipped between the tips of his feathers, ruffling them and spurring him on. He beat his wings hard now and felt a private thrill when Elele -- in constant terror from the moment he had taken off into the sky - held his neck so tightly that her face was very close to his. He could feel the sweep of her lashes, the brush of her bristly pygmy fur and curly mane, even the brush of her lips against his neck as she sobbed with fear - sobbed in terror more of the sky, it seemed, than of the arrows zipping past. He tried not to glance down at her little breasts, tried to ignore the feel of the nipple that brushed against him, and he blushed, focusing his mind instead on reaching the cliff.

Inden soared to the peak at last. There was cluster of drooping palm trees here, and further on, a forest of them rose against the wide cliffs and the sky in ripples. The rocky, cold earth was covered in a snug bed of flowers and jagged palm leaves, and the scent of bananas - rotten and ripe - was strong on the air. Inden set Elele on her feet, then turned to the cliff edge and spread his wings, on the brink of taking off into the sky. He paused in surprise when Elele grabbed his arm and shouted, "Don't!" She pointed. Inden followed her finger and gasped: burning arrows were shooting across the sky, cutting in a swift volley directly for them. He tackled Elele to the ground with a shout, and the arrows soared overhead, landing several feet away.

A second volley flew over the cliff, and shielding them both with his wings, Inden covered Elele's small body with his own. An arrow grazed his wing and he hissed, his entire body wincing with the pain. But one beat of his wings put the small flame out, and he remained on top of Elele long enough to let another harmless volley fly overhead.

As he shielded Elele with his body, Inden realized for the first time that she was studying him. Her dark, gentle eyes traced over the flexing flesh around his neck, his hard chest, his big arms, and she looked at him in blushing wonder. Inden realized for the first time that her breasts were smashed against him, that her little nipples were hard and that this meant - as Wynn had once explained to him - that Elele was either very cold or very horny. He could feel the heat of her pussy against his sex, and with a guilty blush, felt himself get hard. Oh, god.

Elele smiled as if to let him know it was okay. "I think it's stopped. We should get out of range before they fire again."

Inden swallowed hard and nodded. They went as quick as they could for the distant trees and crouched beneath them, watching as more arrows suddenly sprinkled over the cliff ledge.

Exhausted, Inden flopped on his tail and leaned against a tree. It was only when Elele giggled that he remembered he was hard. He drew his knees up quickly, apologizing and stammering as her bewitching eyes twinkled at him.

"You belong to her, don't you?" said Elele, leaning on one paw. Her tit smashed against her arm as she leaned her body toward Inden. Her round hip rose beside her, and she twirled one of her braids idly around her finger as she eyed Inden. She batted her lashes prettily at him, and he realized for the first time that she had clung to his leg with the explicit purpose of winding up alone with him.

"No - I don't - but I did --" Inden stammered, getting more nervous by the minute. She was crawling toward him seductively, her round hips moving fluidly, her little tits handing down. He couldn't believe it when she stopped before him, pulled his knees apart, and leaned forward.

"Wait - what are you doing?" Inden cried in alarm. He knew exactly what she had been about to do, of course, but he had never had his dick sucked before. Not even by Wynn. The last night they were together, Inden insisted on going down on Wynn, and as she twisted on her back in the sheets, he held her thighs to his shoulders and kissed them and licked them between kissing and licking that hot place between them. How long had he wanted to do it? How long had he hungered for it, his mouth on her pussy? And knowing that Sylas had touched her there first with his mouth, it had driven Inden wild with jealousy. He had thought about it for years afterward, Sylas taking his Wynn from him. But that last night they were together in the guest room, he made up for it again and again. Wynn was so busy coming, she didn't have a chance to suck Inden's dick. He didn't want her to anyway: that last night before they reached the jungle, it was about giving Wynn all the pleasure he had been denying her for years.

Seeing the look of panic on Inden's face, Elele paused as she was leaning forward and looked up at him. "You still belong to her," she said, after gazing at Inden for a moment. "In somehow, in some way, you still belong to Wynn!" She suddenly scowled and flopped over on her back so hard her titties bounced.

Inden looked at her in amazement. She seemed completely unaware of her own allure, as if she didn't realize her bouncing tits were driving him mad with desire. He felt his dick throb harder and groaned. But she was right: a part of him had still not let Wynn go. He still had feelings for Wynn, of course he did. It was hard to get past those feelings, even when a pretty female was throwing herself at him.

"Elele . . . how do you know Wynn?" Inden asked curiously. He avoided looking at the way her shapely body twisted in the grass and instead rolled his eyes to the sky.

Elele had been staring at the stars, but she glanced at Inden when she replied, "You heard it all, didn't you? That my mother was to marry Avi?" As if something had just occurred to her, Elele rolled over on her stomach and jammed her chin on her palm. She smiled at Inden. "My brother Eleu loves your precious Wynn. Did you know that? He's loved her since they were children. He wanted to marry her. When she returned here, he was supposed to."

Inden's face darkened. Wynn had never told him this! "And how does she feel about this Eleu, your brother? And tell me the truth! No - inventing - because you want me to hate Wynn --"

Elele's bottom lip poked out. "You take the fun out of everything," she said sulkily. She sat up and brushed the leaves from her breasts, unaware that they jiggled from her grooming. Thrusting her breasts out, she sat up very straight and started plucking the leaves from her braids as she adjusted them. She looked around at Inden with large, innocent eyes and asked, "What?" for pre-cum was seeping from his rigid cock and his face was strained.

"Stop that," Inden said, gesturing at her grooming. "And tell me how Wynn feels about Eleu!"

"What does it matter?" said Elele sulkily. "You don't belong to Wynn anymore. You said so yourself."

Defeated, Inden folded his arms. "Alright, who do you belong to? If you're so interested in my business, I might as well poke in yours."

Elele laughed girlishly. "I belong to myself." So saying, she stretched her short, shapely legs and folded them one over the other, leaning back on her paws to regard Inden in amusement. "You love Wynn a great deal, don't you?"

"That's none of your business," Inden snapped. "As soon as the arrows stop, I'm going for her. You stay here until I come back for you - What?" Inden demanded in great irritation, for Elele had started laughing at him.

"The arrows aren't going to stop," she said, her pretty face warm with a smile. A lock of mane fell in her eyes as she said, "So you might as well get comfortable. We're going to be up here for awhile yet. They won't stop until we come down. Both of us."

Inden had been in the middle of rising, but he reluctantly settled back against the tree. His hard-on was still there, and furious at Elele now for causing it, he put a pile of leaves over it. He flushed red when Elele laughed at him.

"Shut up!" Inden warned.

Still laughing, Elele stood and stuck her paws on her hips. She turned on the spot, rising up on her toes and stretching her arms so that her breasts stretched high and the hard nipples pointed at the sky. Inden looked firmly in the opposite direction and heard her laugh at him again.

"Why do you enjoy doing this to me!" he suddenly growled, and leapt to his feet with the leaves clutched still to his erection.

Elele moved close to Inden, and after gazing up at him lustily, she placed her paw over his and whispered, "Because you're cute." Pulling him down to her, she kissed Inden full on the mouth, and without realizing, Inden kissed her back. He could feel her little fingers pushing the leaves away and suddenly didn't care. Her paw closed strong on his erection and he trembled against her as she stroked, his muscles tense with desire. She kept kissing Inden, and he surprised himself when he suddenly pulled her little leg on his hip. With a hungry thrust, he pushed his way inside and sighed against her lips. God, that wetness was heaven. Her little arms closed quickly around his neck and her lips pulled urgently at his. Pushing his way inside as they kissed, Inden pulled Elele down to the leaves and made love to her.

Inden awoke some time later when the sky was gray with the first morning light. He blinked and looked around at Elele. She was already awake and lying on her side. Her fat cheek was smashed on her paw as she twirled a bit of grass and regarded Inden with a smile. He realized with a rush of nerves that she had been studying him as he slept.

"You're a beautiful boy, Inden," Elele said, her slanted eyes afire with girlish lust.

That may have been true, but Inden was no fool: there was another reason Elele had bedded him so willingly. He sat up with a groan, brushing the leaves off his fur as he regarded her. "Why did you make such a point of this?" he asked.

Elele sat up too, chucking the blade of grass away. "Of what?" she said, feigning cluelessness.

"You know damn-well!" Inden snapped. "I may be - good looking - but girls don't usually throw themselves all over me! There was some other reason for this - seduction --"

Elele giggled at Inden, regarding him with sincere delight. "It's so cute when you try to avoid using dirty words," she said, gazing up at him fondly. "I'm a little shocked that a proper, straight-forward boy like you is in love with Wynn. She may not look it, Inden," Elele said, gazing into the distance as she hugged her knees, "but Wynn is a shemale. She's wild. And no one can tame her. Not even you."

Inden fell very still, watching Elele curiously. She had become very serious suddenly, her small, pretty face creasing with a thoughtful frown as she gazed at the horizon.

"You really hate them, don't you," he said. "The shemales."

Elele scowled. "A shemale will fuck anything that moves! And they have the nerve to call us ravenous beasts!"

"That's not true!" Inden said at once, and so sharply that Elele looked around at him in surprise. "Wynn told me about the shemale traditions. Though a shemale will have many partners throughout her life, her first time is supposed to be with a very special wolf. A virgin must make a careful selection. And if things work in that direction, the wolf they sleep with for the first time will also become their life partner." Inden spoke the last words sadly and didn't notice when Elele looked at him with her dark, ever-pitying eyes.

"You meant to be her first," Elele said, and it wasn't a question. "You waited for her, but she spurned you. Didn't she?"

"There was more to it than that!" Inden snapped defensively. "I'm just as much to blame. Anyway, it's over - so let's drop it."

Elele shook her head. "No, I don't think it's over," she said, studying Inden. "You still love her deeply. Well, here's some advice: stop."

Inden's ears pricked forward in surprise, and he stared in wonder when Elele shot to her feet and started pacing up and down, her pretty face contorted with a scowl. He waited for her to explain this sudden outburst, but when she didn't, he leapt to his feet and grabbed her shoulders.

"Elele, calm down - what's the --"

"My brother loved your precious Wynn," Elele spat bitterly, her bottom lip trembling. "He loved her with undying devotion, let his heart crumble to nothing waiting for her to return here! She was supposed to love him too - or so I'm told! And look what she's done to him! He's starved because of her, his heart has broken because he believed it, that she loved him." She shook her head. "No, Inden. Never give your heart to a shemale. Shemales don't understand love!" She shoved Inden off and rushed to the cover of the trees, then halted uncertainly and pressed her forehead to a palm's irregular bark. Inden stood watching her a long moment and realized she was crying. He came close to her, and after hesitating a moment, put his paws on her little shoulders and squeezed.

"Elele, that's - you don't know Wynn. You sound like you're spouting a bunch of nonsense your mother taught you in ignorance about shemales, not anything you yourself have experienced. I know for a fact that Wynn can love. She loved me for years, and I loved her too."

"You mean you love her too. You haven't stopped," sniffled Elele, her shoulders shaking with her quiet sobs.

"Yes . . ." admitted Inden. "I haven't. And as for Wynn, I'm sure she feels the same way about your brother. The thing about shemales is . . . their hearts are too vast, too full of love and these raw, wild emotions. They can't be expected to love just one. It's not the shemale way. Their love is as wild as their love-making. Maybe that's not something other cultures can understand."

"As wild as fire," Elele whispered to the tree.

"What?"

"That's how Eleu once described Wynn. She kissed him once when they were children. They'd been wrestling out in the jungle . . ." Elele turned around, still sniffling with tears. "This was back before they were friends, back when they hated each other. Wynn wrestled my brother onto his back, and to anger him, she kissed him." Elele laughed, blinking out more tears as she did so. "He ran home crying like a pup still in its mother's carrier. I vowed to go and get Wynn back, to beat her up for humiliating him. But Eleu . . . he asked me not to. I think he loved her even then."

"You care a lot about your brother, don't you?"

Elele looked earnestly into Inden's eyes. "More than words can express. Pygmies believe in the closeness of family. A family that can not willingly die for one another is no family at all. My mother . . ." Elele moved past Inden, twisting her fingers as she wandered blindly through the grass. "It is to our shame that Eleu and I would never die for her. But she is so cruel and cold. She never loved us, she never valued family in the pygmy way. She never kept a mate so that we might have a father - always, she ate them in the end, because always, she alone must wield power - and she never loved us. Not the way a true pygmy mother should. She didn't hold us or sing to us or play with us. All she ever did was lecture us about our future roles in the village once we took the jungle. That was all she really cared about: the jungle. I sound awful, I know . . ." Elele said suddenly, as if she'd just realized that Inden was there, listening to her every word. She had been speaking almost as if reminiscing aloud. "We hate our mother, and for that, we are the shame of our tribe. But no one has made a move to shame us. No one can blame us for hating her."

"Elele, not liking your mother isn't something you should have to feel guilty about," Inden said. "There are cruel parents in every tribe. I myself . . ." Inden swallowed hard just to think of Chief Yinzo. "My f-father killed my mother. I didn't witness it, but I'm sure of it. And after her, he killed every female I thought was my mother - right in front of me, he raped them and killed them." Inden clenched his fists just thinking about it and he was ashamed of himself when something thickened in his voice.

Elele looked around at Inden in sad wonder. "You poor thing," she said, moving toward him. She suddenly hugged him tight around the middle, and when Inden looked down at her anxious expression, at her dark eyes and the tender emotion glistening in their depths, he knew that something was starting right at that moment. He startled Elele when he suddenly lifted her into his arms and pulled her down to the leaves with him. Elele was flustered as Inden's hot kisses and hungry paws groped and caressed her curves in rapid excitement.

"Oh, but, Inden," she cried breathlessly, and looking down at her, he loved the shy fluttering of her lashes. She was actually nervous and red in the face when just hours before, she had been ready to give him head! He didn't know why, but her bashful expression drove him wild. He smothered her soft protests with his kisses, and he was hard in seconds when he pulled her little thighs open and those tiny paws sought in humiliation to stop him.

Inden laughed. As if he hadn't touched her there already! "Elele, what are you afraid of?" he whispered, his lips brushing hers after a kiss.

"Love," was the trembling reply. "I saw what it did to my brother."

Inden looked at her sadly and shook his head. "Elele," he whispered, "my love won't break you. My love will heal you."

She looked up at him with the frightened eyes of a doe, but after gazing at him for a long moment, something in her eyes softened and she put her arms around his neck. They kissed, and eager to feed the warm feeling blossoming in his heart, Inden pushed his way inside Elele and sighed at her wetness, whispering again and again that he loved her, that he adored her and wanted nothing more than to take her away from this place and care for her the rest of her life. Elele started to cry when she heard his words, and in alarm, he stopped thrusting, but she shook her head and kissed him hard on the mouth, and he realized as her trembling thighs clung to him that she was crying . . . for joy.
