== LOG #006 ==

Alright, as much as I like these Protogens, these power outages are getting on my nerves.

It has been a few days since power was last online so I am a bit off-track with these logs, but I'll keep doing them when I can.

Research-wise, we have been making pretty significant progress. Since we finished Protogen #376, we have been having a 15/16 survival ratio, which basically means that only 1 in every 16 enhancements goes wrong or fails. This is great compared to our previous survival ratio, which I can't specifically remember...

Anyway, this isn't really my division, but the builders finished work on the perimeter wall of the Pro-Tech facility today. The facility consists of the research block (where I work) and the town area, where employees live so that they can easily access work. The town area originally wasn't part of the facility, but thanks to government funding Pro-Tech purchased the town. That's right. They bought a whole TOWN. Granted it was only a few housing estates, but still.

On the topic of my side experiment...

Things are going well, heh. We have been talking a lot recently and even having lunch together. It turns out that she works in the operating area like me, but with one of the other operating groups. We have a lot in common; most notably our interest in the Protogens. She says that she wants them to eventually be allowed to live normal lives, and honestly I think that would be a nice thing too. I just have no idea how that could be possible.

On slightly more serious terms, Maurice went missing during the initial blackout caused by the most recent power outage. He was apparently last seen in the maintenance area connecting the operating area to the habitation rooms, where we keep the Protogens. We found his lab coat and glasses on the floor there, which is the only indication to where he last was. The power outage erased or corrupted all security footage from the day.

372 is still acting a bit off. He's communicating well with other Protogens, but still acting cold against all other personnel. I've overheard the Security team talking about 'shooting to kill' 372 if there is ever another rebellion of the Protogens. Pretty dark stuff. I have been trying to mend relations with the Protogens since the last rebellion's events, so any information such as this I have been passing onto them. I feel that they trust me more due to this.

In the event of another rebellion, I'd probably be on their side.

I hope the Security team doesn't read this.
