#2 of Macro Tyler March 2023

Our favorite undersized, overhung purple dragon has thought about being bigger more than once. Not just a few inches taller or even properly dragon-sized taller but unnaturally big. The kind of big that would get you your own cheesy giant monster movie named something like Attack of the 50 ft Runt. But suddenly Tyler finds himself at a much more unreasonable sizes than he had ever fantasized about before. A size so absurd that even his imaginings of Tylerzilla would be an ant in comparison.

I will be releasing these stories one at a time every few day. Each story ranges from 2,000 to 6,000 words. If you'd like to get access to all 27 stories (Which is a total of 73,000 words of macro/micro themed goodness!) right now, consider supporting me on patreon. It happened so fast. One moment the city's population was going about their normal business as any would on a regular sunny afternoon. The next the world around them became utter chaos.

An earthquake shook the entire city with such violent force every single person not already holding firmly onto something for support was sent sprawling to the ground. Dozens of less structurally sound buildings collapsed and multiple city streets cracked open from the enormous amount of unevenly shifting dirt and rock. Cars swerved off the road or found themselves crashing into the newly-created potholes and trenches even before the enormous dust cloud that followed a moment later obscured everyone's vision more than a few feet in front of them.

All of these things could have been explained away as normal, it catastrophic, natural occurrence. Earthquakes happened and debris clouds were bound to appear in the wake of such a strong one demolishing buildings. But they usually weren't followed up by near gale-force winds whipping through the streets accompanied by a thunderous whoosh of displaced air like massive passenger jets were swooping directly above the city by the dozens. It did do an excellent job of clearing most of the debris clouds away but, in turn, it also revealed the other anomaly that finally got people looking up.

Even when the debris in the air was long gone the city was still darkened as if by a thick overhead cloud-cover when less than five minutes before there had hardly been a cloud in the sky. When people looked up reflexively to see what was blocking the sun nearly every single person's jaw dropped open in shock and utter disbelief. What they saw explained why the sun was still missing from view overhead but said explanation was by no means reasonable. For what covered the skyline over the majority of the city was no bank of dark clouds or remnant of a thick debris cloud. It was a person.

Specifically, a dragon.

He wasn't just big or massive. Few in the city even felt like they knew of a word to properly describe the scale of the titanic beast overhead. His legs alone at their thinnest point were thicker than the tallest skyscraper in the city. They stretched out so unfathomably long that they stretched beyond the city limits; leaving the entire city framed by them as if suddenly been transported into the middle of a deep valley. Even over the skyline most people could see the dragon's enormous feet propped up on their heels towering into the sky. It was hard to tell for sure from both the distance and sheer difficult-to-fathom scale but few people in the city would doubt that at minimum half of their entire city could fit beneath one of the titanic appendages.

Further above, the afternoon sun itself was blocked by the titan's enormous upper body. His torso stretched into the heavens so high that his upper chest and face loomed above the few clouds that dotted the sky. Not that any in the city could see it from their vantage point but a thick, serpentine tail snaked out behind the dragon well into the suburbs and surrounding countryside. The sheer weight of it alone resting on the ground was displacing untold thousands of tons of dirt and creating a massive trench beneath it.

Stranger still to the disbelieving people was how unusually normal the dragon looked. At least, normal besides his insane scale. The dragon was male, no doubt about that due not only do to his lack of breasts but the sizable bulge visible in between his legs. He was covered in a thick, leathery hide instead of the more common scales dragons bore and was colored a dark shade of purple. In contrast, his eyes gleamed a much brighter, almost violet color of purple and seemed to gleam like gemstones behind his glasses. He wore a loose-fitting T shirt that hung off of surprisingly thin arms while his lower body was clad in only a pair of shorts.

A few people thought to themselves that dragon actually looked a bit small, if only in proportional build. He had little muscle definition visible to any degree and only had the barest visible signs of body fat packed mostly in specific areas like his hips and thighs to round them out a bit more. It was almost maddening to think that if it hadn't been for the terrifying, impossible size of the gigantic dragon he would have been just any other normal person. Hell, he probably would have been smaller than average. But any proportional lack of size the dragon might have was overshadowed by his fingers, much less his arms, being thicker than highways are wide and said hips and the ass associated with them likely able to crush the entire city beneath it's sheer size.

The people in the city were snapped from their contemplative staring at the titanic beast overhead by a deep rolling wave of thunder rumbling through the sky. The sound shook buildings down to their foundation and more than a few people were forced to cover there ears to protect from the sheer volume of the sound. It took them a couple of seconds to realize the sound had actually come from the dragon. It hadn't been thunder it all. The dragon had just chuckled to himself.

"Well well well..." The dragon said only to pause. Even he seemed surprised by the sheer volume of his voice. To him it must have sounded booming and as much bass as sound from the way the ground literally shook slightly with each word. To the people down below it was so impossibly deep and loud they could barely even understand each word. Once over the surprise, the dragon's lips pulled back into a grin showing off sharp teeth as big as skyscrapers and he continued. "Looks like it worked after all. How's the view from down there, ants?"

If the dragon was expecting a response he was sorely disappointed. Even if anyone had tried to communicate with him the sheer size difference between the dragon and everyone else in the city was so absurdly wide that even standing on his shoulder with a megaphone the dragon likely wouldn't have been able to hear one of them. Thankfully for the people below the lack of response didn't seem to bother him. Instead he continued talking as if monologuing to himself as much to the people down below.

"It's nice to finally be looking down on people instead of up at them. Though honestly even I wasn't expecting to be looking THIS far down at you all!" He rumbled with another earth-shaking chuckle. "My name's Tyler. I'd ask what all your names are, but I doubt I could hear them."

Suddenly, the ground shook violently again as the dragon leaned his upper body down to get a closer look at the city trapped between his spread legs. The people down below could actually hear the enormous amount of displaced air whooshing around the impossibly enormous torso and head of the dragon and even the simple act of him shifting his weight was enough to nearly throw people off their feet from the accompanying shaking of the earth. After squinting for a few moments at the people down below the dragon barked out a laugh so loud that the mix of earth-shaking sound and blast of exhaled breath that came with it caused several buildings to collapse and send a fresh wave of debris through the streets. The shaking only got that much more violent when the dragon moved to push himself up to his feet.

A hand bigger than multiple city blocks slammed down into the suburbs beyond his legs and smashed a hand-shaped crater in the ground and pulverized dozens of homes in the process. As the behemoth pushed himself to his feet thousands upon thousands of tons of rock, dirt, and general debris rained down from his legs, hips, and ass down into the new craters in the earth the simple act of him sitting there had caused. More than a few people were forced to re-evaluate the scale of the dragon when he was finally upright and his titanic feet framed the city to either side. Each one probably could have crushed more than 3/4 of the city, not just half.

Another roaring whoosh of displaced air came when Tyler crouched down over the city; knees bending as low as they could reasonably go. The ground cracked and compacted into terrifyingly deep craters when his weight came to rest on the balls of his feet to do so and caused yet more of the surrounding land to crack open. Every move that the gigantic dragon made was like a small natural disaster and as much as it terrified the people down below it seemed to excite the dragon if the look on his face was any indication. If that wasn't good enough of a signal, the sight of the impressive outline of the dragon's masculinity pushing against the inside of his shorts visibly swelling larger for reasons that had nothing to do with further growth left no doubt that the dragon's growing excitement was far more literal than many of them were comfortable with.

"Look at how tiny you all are..." Tyler's voice thundered through the sky even when lowered to a near whisper. "I can't even make out any of you individually down there. You're like little specks... bits of lint scurrying between the texture of the floor. I was aiming for something a bit more Godzilla sized but I have to say I think I'm starting to like this view of you all."

Pausing for a few moments, Tyler reached down to casually brush a claw tip across the ground near the edge of the city. To him, it was no different than tracing a finger through sand or soft dirt. To the people down below it was a building sized wall of ivory smashing its way through the ground and gouging a several dozen foot-deep trench in the ground that smashed apart houses and buildings as if they weren't even there. Tyler's eyes lit up eagerly when he saw the dust clouds in the path of his casual movement signaling how much destruction he was so effortlessly causing. His tail swished then slammed down to the ground behind him in an unconscious show of eagerness that betrayed his cooler, more ominous demeanor. Not that it made the meteoric impact of the tail smashing a new canyon into the ground any less terrifying.

When the dragon finally spoke again it was only after he lowered a hand to briefly adjust his bulging male-hood; visibly aroused now even through the wall of enormous fabric that were his shorts. "I hope you've got all your news cameras broadcasting this. I would just have you all send out the word personally but, well. Let's just say you all won't be able to tell people much of anything soon."

Another wave of debris rained down from above the city as Tyler raised one of his enormous paws to loom ominously over the city. It filled so much of the sky for the people down below most couldn't even see Tyler anymore beyond it. The last thing they heard was a final declaration from Tyler before the footpaw descended like the sky itself were falling down on them.

"Forget Tyler, or even Tylerzilla. I think the world should just call me God from now on."

And then, with a single earth-shattering impact, the city of tens of thousands of people became nothing more than a lake-sized footprint.
