Bonus Info

Three events led up to my making of this story. 1. I found the picture on the cover while online and liked it. 2. My Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team game. 3. My Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team game.

The idea for Raizy was actually from someone else's disbanded online story.

Foxy is actually one of my few created by me role-playing characters and my 2nd most recent, and the leader of my blue rescue team game. Others include the Human dark swords man named Death based off my Halo Spartan, who is entirely black. Another is Lance, a vicious, cruel human with red spiky hair, and who uses guns. My last one is Jason a ¾ fox, ¼ human, with a knack for getting lost, and with his untrained psychic power, it often gets him into a lot of trouble.

Todd's energy is based off of me.

Daemon (D?-mon) and Cinders are actually my Red Rescue Team starting characters.

Chapter 3

Uninvited Guests

As Todd woke the first thing he felt was the worst headache ever, it felt like a wrestling tournament was being hosted in his head. The next thing he realized was that he had been hit by a pan, wielded by someone in his house who shouldn't have been there. He figured that they would have tied him up, but when he tried to stretch he realized that he wasn't tied up. "I see you're waking up, good," said an unfamiliar voice.

Todd, startled, rolled over to see who was talking. When he opened his eyes he saw a Bulbasaur with a red triangle on his face and a Cyndaquil. "Hello," said the Bulbasaur," my name is Daemon, and my friend is Cinders."

"Uh...hi?" replied Todd.

"Who are you, what are you doing here, what do you want, why do I have a red triangle on my face, and why would a perfectly fine looking Cyndaquil hang out with a freak like me?" Daemon asked Todd's unspoken question. Todd was so awed he could only nod his head.

"Well to answer them in order, I've told you who we are; looking for you; we want to stay with you; I was born with the triangle, I can tell you don't remember me but we were friends a long time ago; and Cinders here isn't normal show him Cinders," Daemon said quickly.

"Kay," said Cinders in the cute voice that all Cyndaquils have, then made his flames flare up, but they were green, not red.

"Wow," whispered Todd.

"See he's not normal," explained Daemon," he inhaled too much carbon dioxide when he was young, and so his fire permanently is the color green."

"Oh," muttered Todd.

"So now it is my turn to ask questions. You are Todd right?" asked Daemon.

"Yes," answered Todd.

"Good, next, can we stay with you?"

"Uh... sure, I guess."

"Thank you."

As Daemon and Cinders walked towards their sleeping bags they had brought with them. "Oh! One last thing," exclaimed Daemon," you need to introduce us to your friends tomorrow, okay."

Todd realized it wasn't really a question and said," Okay."

"Than good night Toad," Daemon made sure Todd heard his old nickname.

"Stop calling me that Daemon!" Todd roared, and then he remembered. He remembered his old friend Daemon, who always new how to get under Todd's skin, who always was willing to help, and who had been lost during a huge storm several years back.

"Daemon!" Todd exclaimed," You survived!?"

Daemon made a show of looking all over himself, "Well would you look at that I did survive. So you remember?"

"Well duh," Todd replied sarcastically.

"'Night Todd," Daemon said smugly.

"'Night Daemon," Todd replied.

* * *

The next morning Todd slept in until ten-o'clock. Then at exactly ten-o' one the wonderful aroma off bacon and eggs hit his nose. He laid there for a minute, enjoying the smell. Then when he realized he wasn't sleeping, he sat up. He was too busy getting dressed and thinking about the bacon and eggs, he didn't even think about last night. When he rushed out of his room he stopped when he saw Daemon, and Cinders, then he realized his "dream" last night wasn't a dream.

"'Morning Todd" said Cinders.

"'Morning Cinders," replied Todd.

"Hope you like scrambled eggs and crispy bacon," said Daemon, over at the stove. "Love 'em," answered Todd.

After breakfast Cinders cleaned and put up. "Thanks for making breakfast Daemon, I haven't had anything that good for breakfast in a long time," Todd said.

"Yeah, we know. We found you stash of breakfast bars and cereals, so I figured you might want something else," Daemon said.

"So when are we going to meet your friends?" asked Cinders.

"Uh... whenever Foxy gets here," Todd said just as there was a knock at the door. "I'll get it," said Todd before either of the other two could.

When Todd opened the door Foxy, as an Eevee, was there. "Wow Todd, that's the fastest I've ever known you to answer the door," Foxy said suspiciously.

"Uh, yeah, well, um," Todd was trying to think of what to say, when suddenly from the kitchen.

"Hey! Todd! Who is it?" Daemon yelled.

"Who is that, Todd?" Foxy asked.

"Uh, just some old friend and his friend," answered Todd. Just then Daemon and Cinders came around the corner from the kitchen.

"Hey, Todd, is that Foxy?" asked Cinders.

"Yes I am," answered Foxy.

"So now we can go meet your other friends?" asked Daemon.

"Yes, after I introduce you to Foxy," sighed Todd.

"Foxy this is my old friend Daemon."

"Hello."

"Hi."

"And his friend Cinders."

"Hello Foxy nice to make your acquaintance."

"Nice to meet you too."

"So can we go see your other friends Todd?" asked Cinders.

"Sure just hold on one second, you guys go get anything you need," replied Todd.

"'Kay be right back," said Daemon. Him and Cinders went back to get their stuff. "So why didn't you tell me about them before?" Foxy suddenly asked.

"It has been a long time since I last saw him so I had forgotten," answered Todd.

"Okay, but what happened to his face, and what is the deal with the Cyndaquil?" asked Foxy.

"Daemon was born with the red triangle on his face, and Cinders has a green fire, because of some accident I think," Todd explained.

As Todd was saying this he didn't notice Daemon get back. "What are you two doing?" Daemon said in a curious voice.

"Uh... just, talking," Todd replied.

"Right," Daemon sarcastically, "well I have on thing to say then. Todd and Foxy sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-." He was cut off as Todd smacked him.

"Shut it!" Todd yelled.

"Ooh did he hit a nerve?" asked Cinders, witnessing this right after getting back.

"NO!" Todd yelled.

"Are you sure?" asked Daemon, "I think you like her but won't admit it." Then Todd realized he was caught, if he said he didn't like her, he might hurt her feelings, but if he said yes, Daemon would find a way to exploit it, or reveal it to everyone.

"Uh... um... er...," stammered Todd.

"Ooh," said Daemon, "you like her." Todd blushed, but no one could see it through his fur.

"Daemon, do you want to meet my other friends or not?" Todd asked, barley keeping his anger out of his voice.

"Yeah," Daemon responded.

"Well, then we should get going," Todd said.

"Yay!" said Daemon and Cinders, forgetting that they were making fun of Todd moments ago. As they headed off, Daemon and Cinders kept running ahead and playing.

"Todd?" asked Foxy at one point when Daemon and Cinders were pretty far off. "Yes," replied Todd. "Do you like me?" She asked.

"Uh... well... I like you as a friend." Todd stammered.

"Good. 'Cause I wouldn't want it any other way," and with that she nipped his ear, and ran off towards Daemon and Cinders yelling," You can't catch me, nah, nah," back at Todd.

"We'll see about that," he yelled chasing after her.

They arrived at the meeting place a few minutes later. Everyone else in the tournament was already there waiting. "Took you long enough," said Krystal, "what happened, Todd sleep in again?"

"Hey," exclaimed Todd.

"Well we all know you do," said Krystal and got a chorus of agreements from almost everyone there.

"No, actually he didn't sleep in. Actually it is more because of an old friend of his."

"Who?" asked Fredrick.

"Is that Fredrick I hear?" asked Daemon coming around the tree he was hiding behind.

"Daemon you survived! We couldn't find you so we assumed you were lost," Fredrick said in a surprised way.

"Its okay I got back, though it's taken me years. But I made a friend so it wasn't as hard as it could have been," Daemon explained.

"Well since you're here would you and your, I'm going to guess, green fired friend like to join in our tournament?" Fredrick asked.

"No, and how did you know his fire was green?" asked Daemon.

"Easy, the spots on his back are also green," Fredrick explained.

"I'll never know how you do that," said Daemon.

"And I'll never tell," responded Fredrick.

"Round two is starting soon," Fredrick announced, "here are the pairings. Round 2; Todd vs. Foxy; me vs. Raizy; Flip vs. Solare; and William vs. Krystal," Fredrick announced, "We will begin in ten minutes." Oh crud, thought Todd, I'm so dead.

"Good luck Todd, you are going to need it and a lot of it," said Daemon in a slightly happy tone.

"Why are you happy?" asked Todd.

"'Cause you are about to get beat," answered Daemon.

"Thanks," said Todd sarcastically.

"Come on Todd," said Foxy on her way to the fighting area.

"Okay, I will catch up in a second," he said.

"Dude your going to be fighting your girlfr..." started Daemon.

"Shut up!" yelled Todd getting angry.

"You better get going before you are late," Cinders suggested.

"'Kay see you guys later," Todd said.

"See you after you get beat," Daemon muttered just loud enough for Todd to hear.

"Good luck Todd," Cinders said, shooting a dirty look at Daemon who was just smiling. Todd scampered off to catch up with Foxy.

"What the heck was that about?" demanded Cinders when Todd was out of earshot.

"He fights better when he is angry, so I was just giving him some help," Daemon said as if it was common knowledge.

"Yeah well, against a water, thunder, fire, dark, normal, psychic, ice, and plant type it won't help," said Cinders exasperatedly.

"What?" Daemon said suddenly looking worried.

"Didn't you listen?! She can change into any of the eon forms at will," Cinders said angrily.

"Ah crud. He is totally beat," said Daemon. "Not necessarily, but he will have a hard time" said Cinders.

Todd caught up with Foxy about halfway to the tournament area. "We are almost there," she told him.

"'Kay," he said.

"Did you know Daemon expects me to lose actually?" Todd asked.

"Really," she said, "well here we are."

"'Kay I go to the left side, you to the right, 'kay?" asked Todd.

"Okay," said Foxy. They each went to their side of the field.

Once they each got there and were ready, they waited. Once they heard another fight begin, they started too. Foxy immediately transformed into a Vaporeon and powered one of her linked moves, and Todd to anthro form. (Linked moves are a series of moves that a Pokemon has learned to use in order rapidly). Todd, seeing this, drew his sword, and prepared to counter. It only took Foxy a few moments to charge, so Todd knew these were not strong moves, and then shot a series of bubbles, and bubble beams, at Todd. He deflected most of them and dodged the rest, not realizing what she was doing. When he finished dodging he realized that during his blocking and dodging, she had started charging up another link move. Todd moved in for a counter, but she dodged, and used her tail as a weapon. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get through her defenses, so she was able to finish charging. Todd knew he was in trouble, because it took her two minutes to charge. "Heaven's Squall!" she yelled, telling Todd that this was her water type trademark move. He knew her Heaven's Squall was a lot of the known water moves. It has; Whirlpool, Water Gun, Water Pulse, Waterfall, Surf, Muddy Water, Hydro Pump, Water Spout, Hydro Cannon, and in that order, Todd knew. He also knew the tactic was for the whirlpool to catch you and trap you, and if that didn't work, water gun to distract you so water pulse could hit you and maybe confuse you. The one flaw was that after hydro cannon, she couldn't do anything for a moment, which was another reason for trapping or confusing her target, to stop them from taking advantage of her momentary recharge, which she had found a way to decrease.

She fired whirlpool, which Todd barley dodged, but was then hit by water gun. Fortunately, Foxy wasn't expecting him to get hit, so water pulse missed. Waterfall barley missed Todd as he was getting up after being hit by water gun, and barley dodged surf by jumping over it. As he landed muddy water was coming right for him so he had to do an awkward flip to the side of it. Part of hydro pump hit him in the air, but water spout missed as the hit sent him off course. He landed on his back with a thud and looked up to see hydro cannon being shot at him. Instinctively he grabbed his sword and brought it in front of him. The water hit the sharp edge of the blade, and was cut in half, missing Todd by a hair, but completely soaking him. After the attack ended he stood there at first, not realizing what happened. When he did realize, he saw Foxy was still recharging, and charged. He cut her side a bit with his sword, but she finished recharging and jumped back before he could do more damage.

She quickly changed to a Jolteon. It took Todd a second to realize what she was doing, but then it hit him like a ton of bricks when she used thunderbolt to hit him, he was soaking wet, and he was holding a metal sword. Before he could think of anything else she yelled "Heaven's Wrath!" having already charged while she was recharging from the last attack, and while Todd was distracted. Once again he knew this was one of her trademark moves, her electric one. He also knew this one had Rain Dance, Charge, Thunder Wave, Thundershock, Thunderpunch, Shock Wave, Thunderbolt, Zap Cannon, Thunder, and Volt Tackle. He also knew that Rain Dance increased all the moves accuracy, charge increased all of their power, and they all could paralyze him except Rain Dance.

While he was bringing this to mind he didn't realize she had already started the move, until a rain drop hit his nose. At first he ignored it but then the drops hitting him started to snap and pop. That is when he realized she was already using charge. As he turned she fired thunder wave, but since it was a flat wave he easily jumped over it, but felt a slight shock go up his arm with his sword, and he felt his arm instantly go numb, dropping the sword as he realized the sword had been hit. Her thundershock almost hit, but he rolled to the side at the last moment, and found his movements and stance awkward, with his right arm being temporarily paralyzed. He saw her charging at him for thunderpunch, but he was getting tired, so he didn't try to avoid the attack. This caught Foxy off guard so she missed his left by millimeters, but still making his fur stand on end. Since her punch missed she guessed he had gone the other way and overshot with shock wave. She realized he hadn't moved and fired thunderbolt at him, but this time he jumped forward and hit her with a normal, not Pokemon move, uppercut punch. This caught her off guard and her zap cannon missed. But she got her bearings back in time to aim thunder at him. He jumped back, but the attack was so large that he still got hit slightly. He managed to land on his feet, but almost collapsed from fatigue, before he remembered she still had volt tackle left. He looked up and saw her glowing sparking form charging at him. He knew that they both realized he was too tired to dodge, so he closed his eyes and just stood there waiting for the hit. But it never came, after a moment and saw her standing about a meter from him. "Heh, just couldn't bring yourself to do it, huh?" he asked in a hoarse whisper.

"You're going to collapse without my help anyway," she said, sounding moments away from tears Todd thought before he collapsed and blacked out from fatigue.
