A plump raven sat in its nest, high up in the branches of an old tree. The wood creaked and strained from the weight of the bird, but held steady nonetheless. The bird happily fluffed her wings and shifted her bulk across the scavenged bundle of twigs, fur, and feathers. This raven was so corpulent she hardly fit in her own nest, a great black orb bulging over the sides in all directions. Despite her extraordinary heft, she was quite content with her snug abode. Nestled beneath her rolls of feathered flab was a large egg, kept warm and secure by the bulk of the corpulent bird. The raven chirped happily, and she began to doze off thinking about the lovely egg safely tucked away beneath her belly.

Suddenly, her eyes shot open. She squawked and warbled, suddenly feeling nothing beneath her but her own rolls rubbing against one another. The egg, the one thing she prized above all else, was gone. The comfort and security she felt nestling it under her heaving bosom evaporated. The raven shrieked, flapping its flabby wings in futility and craning its swollen neck back and forth. Where had the egg gone? Where was her precious prize? In her panic, her rapidly shifting weight caused the branches supporting her home to bend and snap. The raven's entire world fell out from beneath her, but all she could think about was her precious egg, and how lost she felt without it.

Samantha let out a squawk, the sharp sound muffled by the rolls of neck fat piled on top of her throat. The bloated bird had awoken from her horrible dream with a deep feeling of uneasiness. The nearly immobile bird looked around in a panic, the sluggish gears of her drowsy mind struggling to churn out an answer. What had caused her to experience such an upsetting dream? Why did she suddenly feel so empty? The blubber bird rubbed her arms up against her belly, trying to soothe herself. She heaved her enormous gut upwards slightly, then let it collapse onto the mattress below her. It then hit her; the absence of one very critical comfort missing from beneath her gargantuan gut.

"Na- Natasha? Where are you? Hello?!?"

Samantha continued to warble in confusion and frustration, now attempting to heave her obese form off the ground. All she managed to accomplish was sending rippling waves across her jet-black belly and rump, which shook about from side to side from her feeble attempts at standing. The bird girl grunted and moaned, unable to find her missing love and stuck firmly in place by her own plump body.

A mocking snicker interrupted Samantha's feeble struggle, causing the bird to snap out of her panic. Gazing forward past her bulging cheeks she saw Natasha, her lover and object of desire. The lithe white coyote was laying on top of a couch in the other room, groggily gazing at the bloated bird with a tired but bemused look in her blue eyes.

"Something the matter sweetie?" The coyote started before letting out a small yawn, "seems like you had an upsetting dream."

Samantha grumbled, annoyed by how nonchalant her lover was responding to her discomfort. She did her best to look upset, though it was hard to convey any emotion with her face obscured by such immense cheeks and rings of neck flab.

"Don't play dumb! You know what's wrong! You said you would never sleep away from me!"

Natasha's smile widened a bit, bemused by the blubbering birds futile struggle. She slowly slid off the couch, stretching her arms up into the air and letting out another yawn. she lazily sashayed her way over to the blob of a bird and firmly planted both of her hands deep into the largest roll dividing the Samantha's colossal gut. Samantha let out a gasp, a light blush forming on her immense cheeks. The feeling of her girlfriend's paws working their way into the rolls of her body sent a tingle of pleasure throughout her entire form.

"Oh? Missing my touch already? But I thought you told me you didn't want me spending my nights beneath you any longer..."

Natasha suddenly withdrew her hands, causing Samantha to gasp and whimper. She pined for the touch of her lover, desperately craving her to return to where she belonged.

"Th- hat's not what I said! You know I told you to-"

"Stop eating at night?" Natasha finished the bird's sentence for her, alluding to salacious activities the two had engaged in. But as of late, Natasha had been pleasuring herself in ways her girlfriend found intrusive, leading to a rift forming between the two.

Samantha grumbled, a mix of embarrassed pleasure and disgruntled anger overcoming her. she loved Natasha dearly, but the sly coyote's antics could often create a divide between the two. But now more than anything, Samantha wanted nothing more than to have her as close as possible.

"L- look, just because I told you to stop... eating, doesn't mean I want you sleeping away from me! Now please, come back... sleep in your den... just like you always do..."

The bird began to mumble, her bulk shifting around awkwardly as she tried to invite Natasha forward. Natasha rolled her eyes, pretending to be aloof as the bird continue to moan and struggle. But it wasn't long before she moved her hands down to the bottom of Samantha's goliath gut. Gently, she dug her paws into the feathered flab, feeling it mold between her digits as she kneaded the bird like a mound of dough. She gradually lifted the bulging belly upwards, exposing the warm and soft undercarriage of the rotund raven. She began to tuck herself in, feeling the soft cushioning of the mattress beneath her as a smothering blanket of flab settled on her from up above.

Natasha, in truth, felt just as uncomfortable sleeping away from Samantha as the bird did. Nothing could compare to warmth and weight of the enormous gut spread out all over her comparatively tiny body. As she became deeper and deeper engrossed into the sea of black blubber, Natasha began to drift off into a peaceful slumber. The sound of her gentle breaths was accompanied by the loud snores of her bloated girlfriend. The two finally felt at peace, with Natasha returned to her 'den' and Samantha having an 'egg' to warm and protect.
