It has been a month since Amy rose and Impact had their last little adventure (see lab 10: pink water balloon). Impact and Amy had since tested numerous artifacts and had cataloged them successfully without another mayor incident. Amy had decided to continue working under the research labs to help out Jewell the beetle not only because she payed Amy handsomely but also because they were friends. Amy also secretly liked the experience she went trough last time, being a giant water balloon awakened something withing her that she didn't think even existed. As her mind continued to drift, remembering thoughts and sensations from merely a few weeks ago she failed to notice Impact a tall unassuming cat shark was tryaing to get her attention.

Impact:"hellooooo earth to pinky, you there girl or you gone?"

Amy quickly snapped back to reality and looked at her co worker.

Amy:"oh sorry imp, was just a bit distracted thinking about, ummm, sonic, yes him."

Impact:"Well I suggest you put him aside for a second cause the queen beetle's on her way, and shes bringing some drones with her so look busy."

Amy got a bit cheerier, picked up a broom and started sweeping wile Impact used a spray bottle and a rag to clean out their large table.

Suddenly the door slammed open and trough it stepped a tall feminine figure, hourglass, wearing a buttoned shirt with enough buttons opened up to showcase a bit of a black lacy bra holding back some generously sized breasts, a short tie loosely tied around a slender neck hanging right atop the distracting cleavage, black silk dress pants that open up at the end into loose frill accentuate rather large hips and thighs perfectly, two short plain black gloves and well polished dress heels covering hands and feet, who ever this woman was she oozed sex appeal, the more well versed would already know this was none other than Rouge the bat, the legendary thief, with her signature large ears and a singular ebony wing left on her back, an unfortunate scar on her right eye tries to soil her beauty.

She walks into the room with great confidence, almost showing off as she glances at Impact who is completely hypnotized by her, behind her are two contrasting figures who also enter the room. To the left a taller slender frame, dressed in a black tank top that cuts short exposing chiseled biceps a long sleeved orange hoody beaten and slightly torn with use, long thick legs with full thighs covered in tight black yoga pants ending in some orange and white sport sneakers, the most impressive bit about this person aside from the thick thighs and rather large posterior is the long fluffy tail with a ringed fur pattern. On the right is shorter figure cloaked in a black cape wearing a hood making it impossible to gain any visual information from her other than the peculiar glowing blue eye underneath the cloak.

After them comes a familiar short stack, Jewell the beetle, looking incredibly pissed, holding a suit case and being escorted by two rather large muscular dogs, one a dalmatian that looks slightly less serious, the other a boxer, presumably body guards.

Jewel turns over to her guards and gestures them to stay outside the lab, they nod and follow suit closing the door behind them.

Impact: "So boss, whats with the sudden visit, if your all the way down here it must be urgent"

Jewell: "We have been keeping it under wraps so far but it would appear the artefact research labs have been breached"

Impact and Amy both loose a little of their color at the news.

Amy: "y-you don't think?"

Jewel:"Rest assured we've already raided bases and have had our hackers keeping tabs on egg-net, the doctor isn't behind this."

Rouge speaks up: "This particular attack was also done stealthily, the old coop isn't very stealthy these days."

Impact: "our defenses are almost un-brechable, has Starline been checked"

Jewel: "Dr. Starline is currently still serving his time in the restoration maximum security prison and wile his creation, kit, is definitely a treat to ciber security, Surge is not stealthy, further more nothing from what was stolen would have actually interested them"

Impact: "What got stolen?"

Jewel: "Some unidentified artefact although from what little we have on record there not particularly dangerous, never the less we must exercise caution when dealing with these artifacts."

Impact: "So since you can so confidently rule out Starline and Eggman, im guessing your little spies already have a lead on who our culprit might be."

Jewel: "Yes, a magician in casino zone, not much info on him since he likes to keep to the shadows, hes a maco shark that goes by magito, hes exceptionally slippery and clever, although this has to be his biggest heist yet"

Rogue: " Hes committed multiple crimes, from pick pocketing to stealing from the metropolis bank, all of his little heists are carried in the same manner, under stealth, at night, and with unknown methods."

Impact: "Unknown methods?"

Rouge: "Whatever tools or techniques hes using leave no trace, no footage on cams, nothing, it's the work of a true master, im almost impressed."

Amy:"you don't think hes using magic is he?"

Impact: "Highly unlikely, hes probably beaten us to the punch to a different set of artifacts and has since then been using those artifacts to steal, and in this particular situation he stolen other artifacts."

Jewel: "We suspect the same, were also suspecting there might be a mole in our ranks"

Impact: "So, why haven't you caught Magito?"

Jewel: "hes unnaturally slippery, hes evaded capture from our best agents, and with sonic and tails as freelancers we cant really rely on them for help often and especially not with Eggmans current deep space attack, further more we don't know what his arsenal contains, we don't even really know what the stolen artifacts do, we know they can do some minor effects such as create minor illusion and teleport small items, but we don't know if there's more to them or what the artifacts he all ready had in his possession can do."

Rogue: "That's were you come in doc, were sending you along with these lovely ladies to casino zone undercover, so far all of our attempts have been out in the open, without stealth, but this time were hoping to send out an expert that wont call attention to himself along with a smaller team more focused on stealth, were hoping that even if you cant catch him this time you can at least get a good look at what hes armed with."

Impact: "So ive been chosen to be the expert."

Jewel: "I wouldn't really call you an expert, but your at least reliable."

Impact: : "Coming from you that's as good as ill get, so who are these two?"

The taller girl with the fluffy tail speaks up: "Sup my names Tangle, im not really good at stealth but ill try my best in this mission doc."

The other girl just stares at impact with her single blue eye.

Tangle: "Oh c'mon wisp, you cant really expect him to hear any of what ya just said, speak louder girl, and take ya hood off you ain't in the mission yet."

Tangle uses her tail to expertly pull back the girls hood revealing a full gray and white mask with a single robotic eye, at the top there are two fluffy ears similar to wolf ears.

The girl tries to speak but only speaks in whispers: "hi, my name is whisper, I specialize in stealth and surveillance, I hope my skills will be of use."

The girl then removes her mask revealing face, her golden colored hair and brown snout fur contrast what appears to be some white and blue make up over two almost permanently closed eyes, she smiles weekly.

Impact: "Well im impact im a researcher here and this is my assistant Amy rose"

Amy: "Oh were already acquanted, we actually met once today, there old friends"

Tangle: "Yup, we go way back to when Amy used to be a super cool crime fighting machine, her hammer was super powerful"

Amy: "Oh tangle that was a bit ago, ive put all that behind me, well, for the most part at least."

Jewel: "Well now that acquaintances are made, lets get this show on the road shall we, best of luck, you head out tonight."

The team: "Yes ma am"

The rest of the day was spend getting ready to head out , the team traded some idle chatter and some banter, and then they were off, on a simple mission that cant go wrong.
