#3 of The gutpunching home

SIZE DOESN'T MATTER

Draco was led by Blaziken to the house's bathroom. It's quite a large blue room with a big enough shower so that multiple can stand inside at the same time.

The Serperior takes off his protective green layer of skin, which reveals his entire vulnerable light green scaly body with a white underside, and enters the shower. It takes around 20 minutes under warm, if slightly hot water, for the grass snake to wipe himself out clean.

He gets off the shower... and finds out his protective skin is gone! Draco gasps. Who took it away? Who entered the bathroom without him noticing?

Worried, Draco leaves the bathroom, and finds Blaziken, Dragonite, and Kommo-o holding his protective skin, inspecting it. They don't notice him.

"Wow, I didn't know this was removable!" Blaziken says.

"Yeah, it's like he has natural clothes." Dragonite comments.

"I wonder how much muscle mass he must be hiding with this skin." Kommo-o complains.

"Really!" Blaziken exclaims. "Without that skin he must be--"

Draco clears his throat loudly.

"AH!" Dragonite yelps in surprise. "Draco!"

"May I ask what you're doing?" The Serperior asks with suspicion.

"Uh... we... we..." Blaziken stammers and blushes.

Dragonite rises one of his hands. "I entered the bathroom while you were having a shower, and I was curious when I saw your skin hanging alongside the towels. I had no idea you could remove it!"

"Yeah, I can." Draco crosses his now visibly white arms.

"So what is it? Some sort of armor?" Dragonite asks.

"Yes it is some sort of... natural... armor..." Draco's words drift away when he feels one of Kommo-o's claws poking his torso. "AH!"

"You hide some good bits of muscle." Kommo-o says, as if not caring about anything else. Because he doesn't.

"And you needed to poke?" Draco asks, blushing.

Kommo-o nods, and leans away. "I can confirm you did a good work working your body out."

"Heh, thanks." Draco smiles. "But please... give me my protective skin back."

Blaziken and Dragonite hand Draco back his protective skin. After motioning them to look away, he puts it on again.

"Next time, you guys could ask..." Draco says as he finishes putting on his skin.

"We're sorry..." Blaziken says while looking apologetically.

"Can we do something to make up for it?" Dragonite is also sorry.

Draco didn't expect them to do anything, so he quickly thinks of something... and grins massively.

"As a matter of fact, yes, you can." Draco nods. "I want to punch each of you once. Anywhere I want."

Blaziken, Dragonite, and Kommo-o look at each other, and then nod.

"Understood." Dragonite says, and prepares for the impact on his belly, still beaten from the fight with Kommo-o.

Blaziken chuckles a bit. "Punish us, we've been bad guys..." He says playfully.

Kommo-o tenses his abs. "You're not making me budge."

What Draco does is something they did not see coming. Yes, he punches them in their bellies... but it was in their solar plexus.

The impact from the hit knocks the air out of their lungs, making them kneel on the floor, gasping for air.

Draco merely smirks. "Told you it was anywhere I wanted."

Blaziken groans. "Clever guy..."

Dragonite takes a deep breath. "You blindsided us..."

"I will not forget this..." Kommo-o says while breathing heavily.

Draco shrugs, and props them up... and punches them in the gut again.

A few weeks after the combination of a questionable scene and posterior gut battering...

Draco, Kommo-o, and Dragonite are having breakfast - a glass of juice alongside some eggs.

"So what are your plans today?" Dragonite asks Draco.

"Oh well, some good old-fashioned workout." The Serperior replies. "Might work on my pecs and arms today."

"Makes sense." Dragonite drinks some juice. "I was going to practice punching today." He leans towards Draco. "So if I need a punching bag..."

"You're going to ask someone else." Draco cuts him off. "I've decided to set up a routine, and I'll leave getting punched out for tomorrow."

"Oh well." Dragonite shrugs. Then he looks at Kommo-o. "What about you? Do you wish to prove your strength by letting me punch your guts relentlessly?"

The mention of testing strength is enough to flare Kommo-o up. He smirks.

"Bring it. NOW." Kommo-o requests.

"Hold on, hold on..." Dragonite tries to calm him down. "Let me have breakfast and warmup first."

"Hm." Kommo-o scoffs. "I'm a Fighting-type Pokémon. My muscles are always ready."

"Yeah. But you're the only Fighting-type Pokémon of us three." Draco replies. "We have to get energies and warm up before we can put our muscles to the test."

"I know." The grey dinosaur says calmly. "I'm just boasting that I'm STRONG." He slams one of his arms on the table. "Feel my STRENGTH."

Draco rolls his eyes. He's already gotten used to Kommo-o getting too riled up when strength becomes a topic of conversation. And there's no way to stop him but complying.

"Yes, Kommo-o, your arms are like slabs of concrete." Draco comments, sounding quite bored as it's always the same thing.

"This is what you would say--"

Kommo-o's words are interrupted when Blaziken gets into the kitchen, screaming of joy.

"GUYS! We've got TWO challengers!" He exclaims.

"Challengers?" Draco asks.

"It's been months since we last had one!" Dragonite comments.

"Are they strong?" Kommo-o asks.

"Well... not THAT strong." Blaziken admits.

"Boring." Kommo-o immediately dismisses the idea and walks out of the kitchen. "Waiting for you, Dragonite."

"What are you guys talking about?" Draco asks while Kommo-o leaves their sights.

"It's not the first time we've had outsiders wanting to come here to test their mettle with us." Dragonite explains. "Kind of what we did with you when you arrived, except they won't be living here."

"Oh. I see."

"And in fact..." Blaziken points at Draco. "Perhaps these two challengers are worth your strength."

"Hm?" Draco is puzzled. "What do you mean?"

"Ohh..." The Fire/Fighting-type Pokémon raises his hands. "I'm not going to spoil you the surprise. They will both arrive in one hour. So get ready, guys."

Blaziken then walks out of the kitchen.

"So new challengers, huh?" Dragonite is intrigued. "Are you excited, Draco?"

"I don't know. It's difficult to get excited when I don't know what kind of challenge it is."

"Oh, it's fairly simple. These Pokémon come in and request us to put them into some kind of challenge such as boxing or gutpunching. It's our way of hanging out."

"I understand..." Draco puts a hand on his chin.

"And since it's the first challenge we'll be having since your arrival, you will have the honors of putting them to test." Dragonite nudges Draco's side.

Now that gets the Serperior's interest. Putting his own strength to the test with Pokémon he doesn't know of?

"Sweet..." Draco grins.

Around an hour later, the doorbell rings.

Blaziken comes over to open the door and motions the two Pokémon to enter.

One of them is a Nidoking, a 1.4-metre-tall purple scaly dinosaurian Pokémon with a white-colored belly. This Nidoking does not look much different from the average member of his species. He does have thick, toned muscles, but they are not outside of the norm for his kin, as they are naturally muscular. His torso is wide, with toned pectorals, although not helped by a flat belly with no muscle tone whatsoever. His purple arms are long and look strong but, again, it's nothing extraordinary for a Nidoking. He has short, thick legs with hooved feet, and a long tail.

The second challenger is an Heliolisk. He is a 1-metre tall bipedal frilled lizard Pokémon with a yellow scaly body with some black sections. Unlike Nidoking (and most Pokémon), Heliolisk wears clothes - although it's little more than black shorts. His species is known to be rather scrawny and physically weak, but this particular individual has quite the athletic build, with a wide, toned torso, thick arms, six-pack abs on full display and thick legs.

The two Pokémon move towards Dragonite and Draco. When the latter sees Heliolisk, he feels his heart skip a beat. He is impressed. Is this the level of respect he had received for the work on his own body despite his species' natural lack of strength?

"Hello." Heliolisk waves one of his black hands.

Dragonite bows. "I welcome you two here." Perhaps that was excessively formal, as the two Pokémon are weirded out. They look at each other.

"So you're the guys that want to test yourselves, huh?" Draco says while smirking.

Nidoking makes his fists hit each other. "Yes! I'm going to show you how durable I am!"

"And I want to see how I fare against heavyweights." Heliolisk says with his eyes closed.

"What do you two want to do?" Blaziken asks. "Do you want a fight or do you want to test how many punches you can take?"

"I want you guys to taste my rock-solid guts!" Nidoking says while puffing his chest.

"I'd also like to see how my abs can take your hits." Heliolisk says as he smiles.

Dragonite moves behind Draco and puts his hands on the latter's shoulders. "He will be the one to test you two."

"Both?" Nidoking asks, confused.

"Yes, it's the first challenge he has the chance to witness so why not?" Blaziken explains.

"I'm good." Heliolisk says. "I've seen the videos he appears in and he looks to be strong."

"I wanted to take on the strong guys..." Nidoking complains.

"Draco IS strong." Blaziken defends his roommate. "Don't underestimate him."

"Heh." Nidoking laughs. "I know how Serperior are. He's of a weak species. I don't think he can really push me to my limit."

Draco feels insulted. And so do the rest, even Heliolisk.

"I'm going to beat you down first." The Serperior points at Nidoking, then looks at Heliolisk.

"Go for it. I can wait." Heliolisk reassures him.

Draco puts on a pair of green boxing gloves and slithers, fully determined, into the boxing rings. Nidoking does likewise, albeit without the gloves.

Blaziken, Dragonite, Kommo-o, and Heliolisk all sit down in benches near the ring, with the former carrying his handheld video recorder.

"I know how to call this video for when I upload it." Blaziken says aloud, albeit mostly for himself. "Cocky Nidoking gets battered by a Serperior he demeaned."

Draco warms up a bit in front of Nidoking.

"Try all you want, you won't make me give in." Nidoking keeps dismissing Draco.

"Put him where he belongs!" Dragonite cheers Draco. The purple dinosaur has got on everyone's nerves.

"Show him the true meaning of STRENGTH." Kommo-o does likewise.

"You tell me when I start." Draco tells Nidoking with an uncharasteristically cold tone.

"Start anytime you want." Nidoking closes his eyes, rests his arms on his sides and offers an entirely relaxed belly.

Is he assuming Draco can't make him hurt even when relaxed? Oh that riled the grass snake up.

He smirks, pulls back his fist... and does not hold back one bit with a fierce uppercut on the Poison/Ground-type Pokémon's gut.

"AH! Ooooooohhh..." Nidoking groans loudly, and then weakly when he feels the impact from the Serperior's punch.

Draco smirks while the Pokémon on the benches have looks of approval.

"So, were you saying something?" Draco asks Nidoking.

"Gah..." The pained Pokémon feels his belly. "It only hurt because... I was not tensing up..."

"You're of the stubborn type, right?"

Nidoking takes a deep breath and, this time, he tenses his stomach. "Bring it."

Draco throws a single strong punch. Despite Nidoking's confidence, he clearly winced when he took the hit.

And it continues. Draco a combination of a left and right hook to the purple Pokémon's gut.

Nidoking doubles in pain, but perks up. He's taking deep breathes.

"He hits hard." Heliolisk comments.

Dragonite, who's sitting next to him, nods. "And to think he was feeling weak compared to us."

Heliolisk's eyes widen. "He was?"

Blaziken crosses his arms and closes his eyes. "Yes. It's understandable, considering he's basically a mid-weight comparing himself against heavyweights, but that Nidoking is on his class. He can now really put his strength in action."

And he's not wrong, for Draco feels confidence flowing on him. Each punch makes Nidoking grit his teeth, wince, double over, or loudly groan. He's greatly struggling against the Grass-type Pokémon's fists.

Draco takes a brief pause. "How are you taking it now?" He smirks.

"Don't... mock me..." Nidoking complains.

"Okay, okay, I'll just smash your abs out."

Another uppercut to Nidoking's belly ensues. "ARGH!" He screams as the snake's fist sinks into his belly. "Oooomph..."

He doubles over, eyes closed, teeth seething, clutching his belly.

"Do you want me to stop?" Draco asks, in a playful, nearly mocking tone. His confidence has turned into arrogance.

"Do not dare..." Nidoking growls. "Hah... hah..." He pants.

"I'm asking for your well-being. You seem to be... fairly weak."

Nidoking's eyes flash wide open upon being called weak. He glares at Draco. "What did you SAY!?" He asks angrily.

That gives Draco an idea. A potentially dangerous idea, but an idea nonetheless. "Well, I said you seem to be weak."

This angers Nidoking so much he wants to prove his strength by punching the Serperior's abs... and he barely budges, if at all. All he leaves is a mild grunt.

"Heh." Draco is having fun.

Nidoking is shocked. "WHAT THE HELL!?"

He tries to punch his face, but Draco catches his fist, using his natural higher speed, and delivers a nasty uppercut on Nidoking's relaxed stomach.

"AAAH! AAARGH!" Nidoking spits out saliva from the hit and kneels down on the mat, his arms covering his battered belly. "This... this is not fair... you are weak... you. are. WEAK!"

Kommo-o stands up from his seat. "No, you are." He tells Nidoking non-chalantly.

Nidoking glares at the Dragon/Fighting-type Pokémon.

"If you want a display of strength, I'm sure I can deliver it to you. You would be knocked out the moment you feel the hit, however." Kommo-o grins.

Nidoking's breathing speeds up. "Gah... you guys... are FREAKS!" He stands up.

"Are you done?" Dragonite asks with an annoyed tone, also standing from his seat.

Nidoking growls at the physically stronger Pokémon that are showing a discontent towards him. "You know what!? YES! I'M DONE!"

He angrily steps out of the ring.

"I'M NOT COMING BACK HERE!" He says as he leaves and slams the front door shut.

"Argh... I need to be more careful when accepting challenges." Blaziken says, frustrated, as he finishes recording.

Dragonite pats Blaziken on the back. "Don't blame yourself. Sometimes it happens."

"Yes." Heliolisk says while putting on a thoughtful pose. "One is always bound to encounter these hotheaded buffoons that can't let go of their prejudices." Then he looks at Draco. "You tell me when you're ready. I'm looking forward to feel the strength of those fists in a much closer way."

"Uh... well... I'm ready..." Draco says without much conviction. "The thing is..."

"Let me guess." Heliolisk interrupts. "It's that I'm much smaller so you can't figure out how to do the punchout."

"I, uhm..." Draco scratches the back of his head. "Yeah, I think it's that. No offense."

"None taken." Heliolisk says as he hops off the bench and then into the ring. "Feel free to rest while I figure out how this could be done."

Draco looks at how Heliolisk inspects the boxing ring as if trying to look for an idea. Eventually, the Electric-type lizard climbs the ropes and wraps his limbs around them.

"What do you think?" Heliolisk asks, smiling. "Could this work?"

The Serperior thinks. "I guess we could give it a go..."

"Hold on!" Blaziken yells. "Let me begin recording this one too... are you okay with this?" He asks Heliolisk.

Heliolisk nods. "Sure, why not?" He tenses his ab muscles and looks at Draco. "Start when you want to."

"Of course." Draco smiles, this time cheerfully.

He pulls back his fist... and without too much strength, he delivers a straight punch to the frilled lizard's six-pack.

"Ngh." Heliolisk grunts. "Don't hold back..." He requests. "This is a test." He then winks.

"Oh, just wanted to get an initial feeling." Draco says...

... and then starts delivering progressively harder punches to Heliolisk's stomach.

Heliolisk is small compared to Draco, so the Serperior's fist covers a significant part of the Electric-type Pokémon's midsection. It's not like he really needs to aim the hits.

Heliolisk's idea of being wrapped by the ropes ends up working, as he's only being slightly pushed by the punches.

A whole different story is tanking those punches. Naturally, an Heliolisk is weaker than a Serperior, so even if Heliolisk is well-trained... the difference in natural strength means those hits are doing quite a number on the lizard.

"Ah! Ngh! Ow!" Heliolisk grunts or yelps in an attempt to mitigate the damage.

"How is it going?" Draco asks.

"It... does hurt... but keep going..." The Electric-type lizard says, with his eyes half open. He chuckles a bit weakly. "Don't stop until I ask you to."

Draco eagerly nods and keeps working on Heliolisk's abs. He might be smaller and weaker but he's determined to keep going.

"Now that's a challenge." Blaziken comments.

"That guy has a heart that does not fit within his tiny body." Dragonite adds.

Kommo-o doesn't say a thing. He's too concentrated.

A few large bruises begin to appear in Heliolisk's midsection. Understandable, considering how comparatively large the Serperior's fists are.

Heliolisk's vocal responses become louder and his breathing becomes heavier. He's slowly getting exhausted.

He greatly struggles or is incapable of tensing his stomach due to the pain he's enduring.

Draco decides to delay the inevitable knockdown by toning down his punches, but Heliolisk quickly catches on it. "Hit... harder..."

The grass snake complies and delivers an uppercut to Heliolisk's upper abs.

"GOUGH!" The lizard spits saliva from the nasty hit. "Aaaaaaaaaaargh..." He groans as a result. "Keep hitting... like this..."

"Your wish is granted." Draco says. "How much more do you think you can take?"

"Not much more... I think..."

"Okay, so what about this? I uppercut your lower abs, center, left, right, upper abs, and finally the solar plexus. Six last hits." Draco offers.

Heliolisk nods while wincing at the prospect. "Sounds tough... but that's what I came here for."

"Then it's settled."

Draco prepares... and throws a hook at Heliolisk's lower abdominals.

"ARGH!" Heliolisk yells.

Then a straight punch at the center of his belly. Heliolisk groans and spits a bit more of saliva.

A left-and-right-hook combination on the frilled lizard's sides comes next.

"NGH! OW!" He groans.

Draco then throws an uppercut to Heliolisk's upper abs. That makes Heliolisk moan in pain.

And finally... the Serperior pulls his fist back... and solidly smashes the Electric-type Pokémon's solar plexus with a powerful hook.

That's where Heliolisk practically collapses. He very loudly gasps for air as he removes his arms from the ropes in an attempt to clutch his belly. Instead, he nearly falls, where it not for Draco picking him up.

Draco pats Heliolisk's back, as he rests his head on the Serperior's left shoulder. "Good one."

"Hah... hah... thanks... hah..." Heliolisk can barely say.

Heliolisk feels a hand on his back. It's Kommo-o's. He, alongside Blaziken and Dragonite, have stepped into the ring.

"You are strong for your size." Kommo-o praises.

"Thank you..."

"How long have you been working out, anyway?" Dragonite asks.

"I've... been exercising since I evolved at 15. And now I'm 24..."

"Hah! No wonder you've become that strong!" Blaziken says cheerfully as he pats one of Heliolisk's sides. But he's hurting so much that makes him groan in pain. "Oh, sorry." The Fire/Fighting-type Pokémon apologizes.

"It's okay..." Heliolisk says as he finally seems to catch his breath. "Hey... Draco... could you let me... punch your abs once?"

Draco smirks. "I'd be glad."

Heliolisk hops off Draco's arms and then goes into Dragonite. The orange-and-yellow Pokémon lifts Heliolisk enough so that he can have the grass snake's belly at arm's reach.

With what little energy he can muster, he tries... and delivers a straight punch to the center of Draco's abs.

Draco lets out a mild grunt and wince at the result. "You know... you actually hit harder than Nidoking." He chuckles.

"That guy has a head that is thicker than his muscles." Heliolisk says bluntly. "As long as he doesn't learn, he won't be as strong as he could be."

"I agree." Kommo-o says.

"You can put me down." Heliolisk tells Dragonite. And so he complies, placing Heliolisk on the mat.

"You two did a fine job." Blaziken says, pointing at his recorder.

"Heh, thanks..." Heliolisk says while feeling his belly.

"You are welcome to come here anytime you want!" Dragonite says cheerfully. "This is what we want from a challenger! A fun enough experience that makes us want to meet them again!"

"I'd be really glad to see you again, Heliolisk. You are tough, nice behaving, and very handsome. Quite the hunk, I'd say."

"Why, thanks for... wait, what did you just say?"

And then Draco blushes so much he could be mistaken for a red pepper. He was REALLY saying that aloud.
