#1 of The gutpunching home

INTRODUCTION BY GETTING YOUR GUT PUNCHED

Draco gets off a taxi while carrying a very large bar. In front of him, there's a large home that looks to be quite expensive. Draco is a 22-year-old Serperior, a 3-metre-long serpentine Grass-type Pokémon. As per all Pokémon of his species, he has a green scaly body with a white underside, red eyes, and two horn-like protrusions on the back of his head. His body is covered by a removable green layer of skin that serves as protection. As per Draco himself, while most Serperior have a thin upper body, with practically nothing in the muscle department, Draco has quite a muscular torso and arms, with defined pecs, abs, and biceps. This is because he has been working out since he was very young, being very interested in building up muscle, boxing, and gutpunching.

The home Draco is in front of is the new place he'll be living in. With the blessing of his parents, he has been able to get a home that he will share with three other male Pokémon that are around his age and that have the same interests as him. Draco slithers towards the front door and rings the doorbell.

It takes a minute or two, but the door is eventually opened. On the other side there's Dragonite, a 1.8-metre-tall bipedal draconic Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon with an orange-and-yellow body, and comparatively short limbs for his body proportion. Dragonite sports a build worthy of a heavyweight boxer; the lack of muscular definition in his stomach is contrasted by his powerful-looking pecs and arms. Most interestingly, however, is that Dragonite is wearing blue-and-white boxing trunks and gloves, and he looks somewhat bruised. Upon witnessing Draco, Dragonite changes his slightly pained expression to one of happiness.

"Ah! You're the new guy!" Dragonite clasps his hands... or rather, his gloves, in excitement. "Serperior, isn't it? Come in, come in!" Dragonite signals Draco to enter the home.

"Nice to meet you, but I'd prefer to be called Draco if possible." He says as he enters the building.

Upon witnessing the main room, Draco is amazed: befitting for a home of three Pokémon that like to box, the main room, alongside its typical couch and television, has its own dedicated boxing ring on the center, that has nothing to envy a professional boxing ring. There are even benches around it to work as stands for viewers to sit on and watch. He puts his large bag next to the entrance as he's distracted by his feeling of amazement.

On the boxing ring itself, there's a 1.6-metre-tall dinosaurian Dragon/Fighting-type Pokémon with grey scales on most of its body, and many large red-and-yellow scales on its sides, back, and tail that look very solid... and noisy. This Pokémon is wearing boxing trunks and gloves like Dragonite, but his are yellow, and he looks like he's got more bruises in his face and midsection. He also has a VERY toned and muscular body - one would dare to call his body build as chiseled, but nevertheless it's the kind of body one would not want to put on his bad side.

"Hey, Kommo-o!" Dragonite yells at the other Pokémon, which gets his attention. "The new housemate's here!"

Kommo-o hops off the boxing ring and approaches Draco. "Hello, I'm Draco!" Draco gestures to shake hands. However, the grey dinosaurian Pokémon furrows his eyelids and begins to inspect Draco. He looks at the Serperior from many angles, even grasping one of his arms. Draco finds this to be sort of awkward, but he'd rather not leave an unfriendly impression, so he lets Kommo-o do whatever he's doing.

Eventually, he stops, and extends his hand to shake Draco's. "You have a well-worked body. I am Kommo-o." He says, and then he smirks.

"Just Kommo-o?" Draco asks, puzzled.

"Yeah." Dragonite shrugs. "You're actually the only one in here that prefers to be called by a nickname. Don't worry, we don't mind. If you prefer us to call you Draco, then so be it."

Draco nods. "Understood."

Dragonite then points to a door to his left. "There's your bedroom. You will be sharing with Blaziken, who is currently inside it. I'll go get him so you two can meet." Dragonite then enters the bedroom.

Kommo-o is yet again looking at Draco with curiosity. "You look strong. But are you strong?" His question leaves Draco quite puzzled - not because of the whole matter of Kommo-o being skeptical of his strength, but rather that he's asking that no more than a minute after they first met each other. "How would you do in a fight?" He insists.

"I... er..." Draco scratches the back of his head. "I actually never had a boxing fight. Or even one of those gutpunching sessions."

"Then why are you even here?" Kommo-o demands to know.

"Because I want to know what it's all about." As Draco says this, he feels as if there's a glint in Kommo-o's eyes. Not to mention he's smirking even more than before. "Uh... is everything alright?"

"It's all amazing..." Kommo-o says with a deep tone. "You'll be learning a lot here, buddy. A lot."

The door to what is going to be Draco's bedroom opens. Dragonite, and a 1.7-metre-tall humanoid chicken Fire/Fighting-type Pokémon with red and yellow feathers, who Draco presumes is Blaziken, come out of it. Blaziken's completely feathered body does not prevent Draco from seeing his toned muscles. Unlike Dragonite and Kommo-o, he's not wearing any clothes.

Blaziken extends his hand towards Draco. "So, you are Draco, right? Nice to meet you... roommate. Call me Blaziken." Draco shakes hands with Blaziken. "It looks like the part of you liking to work out is completely true." He lightly jabs one of Draco's pecs. "Sounds like you're going to do well here."

"Heh, thanks for your warm welcome, guys." Draco says while smiling, and then looks at Dragonite and Kommo-o. "You two look like you were sparring."

"Sparring?" Kommo-o spits at the floor. "There's no sparring. Here, when we box, we go all out. The only reason Dragonite is still standing is because we had just started. Otherwise, he would be kissing the mat."

Dragonite nudges Kommo-o on one of his sides. "Sharp words for someone that looks the most hurt of the two." He says with a tone that feels like he's only pretending to be arrogant. Kommo-o growls in response.

"Anyways..." Dragonite removes his boxing gloves and tosses them aside. "We've introduced us to you, Draco. Now it's your turn."

"Uhm... well, no problem. I am Draco and--"

Dragonite places a hand in front of Draco. "I'm not talking about explaining who you are. I meant introducing yourself as in showing off your physical capabilities."

"Uh, what? Now? This quickly?" Draco is surprised.

Kommo-o laughs as if he were evil. "Of course, man. You are in a home where we all boast our STRENGTH," he interrupts to do a strongman (strongmon?) pose, "POWER," he poses as if throwing a punch, "and ENDURANCE." He pats his eight-pack. "And we always put that to a test. If you are going to live here, then you must be put to the test."

Draco sighs, believing it won't be possible to even delay this a bit. "Okay, okay, if you want to put me to the test even though it's not been even 5 minutes since I arrived, then so be it. What do I have to do?"

Blaziken, Dragonite, and Kommo-o all look at each other. "Blaziken, go get the camera." Dragonite says, and Blaziken runs into his bedroom.

"Camera?" Draco asks.

"Oh, didn't you know? Blaziken has a fairly popular KemoTube channel where he uploads videos of our boxing fights, workouts or gutpunching sessions." Dragonite says cheerfully. "Why not uploading a video of your first session with us, then?"

"Oh, I... see, then." Draco accepts, mostly out of confusion rather than interest in him being recorded for the internet. "But you guys didn't explain what I'm supposed to do."

"Gutpunching." Kommo-o says very bluntly. "And since you've just admitted to me that you have no idea what it is... gutpunching is having your abs punched continuously, relentlessly, with no mercy, until you cannot take anymore." He makes it sound like it's a very taxing test.

But that doesn't make Draco back down. "It's a test of endurance, then. I'm in." He puffs his chest. "I'm ready to take whatever you throw at me."

"That's the spirit!" Dragonite says, feeling pumped, while Blaziken comes out of his bedroom with a handheld camera in hand. "Blaziken, what if you get the honor of being the first to land his fists on your new roommate's belly?" Dragonite asks while patting the Serperior's abs.

Blaziken does not say anything, and instead just grins widely. He approaches Dragonite. "Take the camera." And then he looks at Kommo-o. "Hold him so that he doesn't drop to the floor."

Kommo-o grabs one of Draco's arms. "We're going to the ring." He forcefully drags Draco into the boxing ring, despite the fact he would have gone there anyways. Blaziken eagerly walks into the ring as well, while also putting on a pair of red boxing gloves. Dragonite is moving around it to find the best angle to record.

Once Draco, Blaziken, and Kommo-o are all in the ring, the latter suddenly grabs the former's arms to put him in a Full Nelson hold. "Ah!" Draco yelps.

"What's the matter? Did it hurt?" Kommo-o smirks after asking.

"No, it's just that... I didn't expect such a tight hold..."

"Well, it would be a shame if you dropped to the floor in less of a minute of punches, isn't it? I prefer to see your abs get so bruised you can't even sit up." Draco grits his teeth in preparation.

Blaziken stretches his arms and even puts his clenched fists on Draco's abs in order to get a feeling before starting to punch. "You tell when you're ready to record, Dragonite!" Blaziken tells the orange-and-yellow dragon.

"Go for it!" Dragonite gives a thumbs-up. "Recording in 3... 2... 1... GO!"

The gutpunching session begins, as expected, with Blaziken landing a punch on Draco's abdominals. The humanoid chicken Pokémon is testing the waters, though, as the first few punches are somewhat light. But, after the first 5 or 6 punches, Blaziken quickly increases the strength of his punches.

"Your abs are quite hard." Blaziken says while not stopping his punches. "I think I can afford to go all-out."

It doesn't take long until Blaziken is putting a lot of effort in order to punch the Serperior's abs. Draco starts to grunt whenever Blaziken's fists impact with great force on his stomach.

"Smooth..." Dragonite says to himself upon witnessing the scene.

Draco is making the best effort to tense his abs and try to mitigate the effect of Blaziken's punches, but even then, it's slowly becoming more difficult to do so. He can still take many more punches, but every time he feels the Fire/Fighting-type Pokémon's fist sinking on his scaly white belly, his endurance drops. But he must take as many hits as possible to give a good first impression.

Blaziken spices things up by throwing combinations of punches, hooks, and even uppercuts to Draco's upper abs. Draco's breath begins to get a bit heavier and even winces in pain every other punch or so. He might have a well-worked out, toned, muscular stomach, but turns out that not having done any kind of fight before means he's not exactly very good at enduring the pain.

"Argh... it... hurts..." He groans after around 2 minutes of punches.

"Giving up?" Kommo-o taunts Draco.

"No..." Draco then looks at Blaziken. "Keep going."

"That's the spirit." He says while smiling. Perhaps it's some sort of catchphrase in here?

Blaziken's barrage of punches on the serpentine Pokémon's ab muscles continues. Punch after punch on his gut makes Draco let out even more pronounced main reactions: grunts, groans, yelps, whines, wheezes, and even spitting some saliva sometimes. By this point Draco thinks he would have doubled over and even dropped to the floor, but Kommo-o's tight grip on his arms forces him to keep enduring the hits.

"NGH!" "AH!" "OW!" "ACK!" "ARGH!" Are but some of Draco's vocal responses to Blaziken's punches.

More than 3 minutes have passed already. Draco's breathing has definitely become heavy, and he even struggles to keep his head up, but he still hasn't asked Blaziken to stop.

From the outside of the ring, Dragonite is impressed. "He doesn't know when to give up. I'm liking that." He licks his lips.

While Draco is already quite exhausted from the continuous punches, it's only natural that Blaziken has slowed down his pace and toned down his strength a bit to ensure he doesn't get very tired as well. Still, after being softened so many times, his abs are so weakened even Blaziken's lighter punches make him feel a lot of pain.

He punches his belly. Draco winces. He punches his abs again. He groans. He slams his fist on Draco's stomach. He lets out a loud vocalized response of pain.

Draco realizes they weren't lying about this whole matter of putting their bodies to grueling tests of endurance. He might be strong, but these guys seem to be on another level. Still, Blaziken and Dragonite's smiles make Draco feel satisfied. He seems to be exceeding their expectations.

A while later, Draco is so tired he can barely even vocalize responses. Blaziken has slowed down his punching pace to a crawl after noticing so. He pauses. "Do you want me to stop?" He asks Draco.

"Give me... one last punch..." Draco request, then coughs. "Anywhere in my belly you want." He then looks at Kommo-o. "Release me, it's just one more punch."

Kommo-o complies and releases his grip on Draco. He still helps the Serperior stay standing up, to ensure he does not collapse to the floor before taking the punch.

"Anywhere I want, no matter how painful it is?" Blaziken asks for confirmation.

"Do it."

Blaziken pulls his fist back, as he wants this last punch to feel memorable. And memorable it is, because it lands straight into Draco's solar plexus.

Draco's response isn't vocal. That is understandable, as he's just practically felt all the air on his single lung being knocked off. He just clutches his belly, and collapses into the floor. Blaziken and Kommo-o sit down to check on him.

"Argh..." Draco whines after a second or two. He coils his serpentine body around his hurt stomach.

"Are you okay?" Kommo-o asks, placing a hand on Draco's back. Draco nods, albeit slowly due to his exhaustion and pain.

"This is A-MAZING!" Dragonite exclaims while finishing up the recording. He then puts the camera aside and approaches Draco in the boxing ring and props him up. "You are one tough snake." Dragonite tells Draco while tightly hugging him.

"It hurts..." Draco can only complain. Dragonite apologizes and makes his hug less tight. "Thanks... anyways... ouch..." Draco puts a hand on his pained abs.

"I must commend you, Draco." Blaziken says. "I've never seen a Serperior with such a great and sturdy body before!"

"To be fair, I had never seen a Serperior that liked to work out..." Kommo-o clarifies. "Don't take it badly, though! You've done a fine job with your body. And it will only get better with the more punishment it takes here."

"Indeed." Dragonite agrees. "Considering how frail and skinny the average Serperior is, your muscular body is worthy of praise." He crosses his arms.

"Although... you'll never get as strong as us." Kommo-o says arrogantly.

Draco smiles. He understands it's nearly impossible for him to get at their level, but the fact they think he's done quite the good job given the natural physical limitations of his species makes him happy, even if he's also feeling intense pain now.

Blaziken grabs the camera with one hand, and Draco's arm with the other. "Come on, let me show you my bedroom, and how I edit videos to upload to my KemoTube channel." And just like with Kommo-o before, Draco is simply dragged by Blaziken into their bedroom.

Draco is led by Blaziken to his bed. Or rather, their bed, as it turns out both will sleep together in a double bed. Next to the bed there's a rather expensive-looking computer. Draco lies down in the bed, attempting to rest from the punches he's received, while he looks how Blaziken takes a small data card from the camera and inserts it into the computer.

"Why do you upload videos of these things?" Draco asks Blaziken.

"The question is: Why not?" Blaziken replies. "As long as no one is being affected negatively, there's nothing wrong in having an internet page or video channel about the things you and your friends like to do. I've had this channel since I was 19, when I started living here."

"And... are they popular? The videos, I mean."

"Oh, of course they are!" Blaziken says proudly as he opens the video editor he uses for his 'work'. "My channel is really popular, and we get thousands of views and dozens of comments!" Blaziken nudges Draco in his pectorals. "And so will your video. You, or rather your muscles, will get famous." He smiles.

Now that's something Draco never considered. He does like this whole matter of working out and learning to box, but becoming well-known in the internet for this, even if it's just for letting himself get punched repeatedly in his abs... is better than expected.

"This is going to be the start of a great story for you." Blaziken claims.
