A lone dragon had outgrown anything and everything. From the universes, to multiuniverses, to even realty itself, he had surpassed them all. And now, he was currently facing his biggest challenge yet.

Boredom.

Fortunately for him, it seems two guests arrived to save him temporarily; a fast-forged friendship against all odds.

I got struck with an inspiration that won't leave me, so I quickly made this one in a few hours and called it a day. Admittedly I wanted to go further, but I was practicing restraint and quickness with this one story, so here we are. Let me know if it's good!

Also, this is the shortest story I've made at less than 3k words, so enjoy this quick read. uwu

Growing. Growing. And guess what? More growing.

That had been the life the dragon had ever since that fateful day. Aside from the usual growth, he was ascending. He was also bulging bigger, becoming larger than he was a millisecond ago. Yeah, you get the picture.

At this point in his life, even he couldn't believe that he was but a mere, mortal dragon back then. His life was of standard; doing odd jobs on the side, training for...something he had forgotten. His life was a bit mundane, but it was enjoyable.

And then, on one inconspicuous morning, he started to grow. His red-scaled body grew a few pounds heavier, his body bulkier and he was slightly taller too. He liked it, very much in fact. And then he kept on growing, accelerating day by day, then, hour by hour, until he was growing every second. And then he kept on growing. And growing even more. It was never-ending, only rising

Back then, it was an incredibly wondrous feeling. His muscles were bloating in some much mass size, comparable to buildings, to natural landmarks, then eventually to the entire planet itself. His height, while slower than his muscle mass, added inches, then feet, then entire meters as his rate of growth showed no sign of slowing down. Dare he say it, it just kept accelerating, more and more mass until he was bigger than the solar system, than entire galaxies, than the entire universe, and still he kept on growing, and growing...

...which leads to his current situation.

The red dragon, his name all but forgotten, merely looked around his chamber of pure mass, all pulsing and pounding. His traps and pecs had all but consumed his vision and more a few ages ago, and all he could see were his own body. His own body that he could barely control, merely flexing and growing, as if it was its only purpose. Maybe it was.

And here he was, all in the middle of it. Completely and utterly bored out of his mind.

The feeling of growth was amazing, no doubt about that. But after all these...years? Months? Days? Whatever the degree of time he used, it doesn't change the fact that he was so used to the sensation of his muscles, reaching beyond quadrillions of light years in size, continuously growing and fighting for a single inch of space that it became more of an annoyance than anything. The high of growth had become such a constant that he barely remembered any time where the dragon had NOT felt it, becoming more of an almost annoying buzz rather than a euphoric feeling.

The only time he could feel anything besides his own body flexing and growing was, ironically, when he felt his growth accelerate. Sometimes he could feel it coming, sometimes it was completely out of the left field. Either way, the thrill of such an event made him groan in pleasure, but even then the sensation left him quick and, again, he became used to the increased rate of growth.

It was like this for so long, this cycle of growing, growing faster, and then growing even more. The dragon had been so bored out of his wits that he started talking to himself, trying to remember what his old life used to be, even trying to decipher how long it has been since the start of his growth. He thought it could be mere days, but he dismissed it.

He sighed. It would have been great if he still had his little 'specks' with him. He could only recall seeing various specks circling around his head, spinning so beautifully in their multicolored glory. It has been so long since he had seen them, not because they had been destroyed, but more so because he had grown so big that they became less of a 'speck' and more of an 'atom' to him.

It should also be stated that those little specks of colors he likes to look at were realities that he had outgrown many times over.

And so, his plight continued. He was immensely bored out of his wits, he could only move his limbs and flex his outrageously, beyond god-like muscles as always. He sighed once more, all he could see was his own body, his own muscles continuously growing, and two specks of colors...

...wait, specks?

"Huh?" The dragon stared in wonder as two specks became more obvious within his sights. He had thought it was a couple of realities growing, but then he noticed telltale signs of it being more...humanoid, despite the amount of mass the two orbs held. His mind lagged a bit, but this information eventually made its way to his head as he eventually realized...

...they were other people! And they were growing as well! They were just like him! And then his mind supplied him with another thought. He had someone to talk to now! He won't be bored anymore!

His face broke into a wide smile as he saw the two orbs of pure muscle grow in front of him. Was this what he also looked like from an outside perspective? He had to admit, so much pulsing, bulging muscle packed in such a size was a bit...grotesque for him.

Then again, he had no say on the matter considering he was infinitely bigger than the two of them combined.

It didn't take long for the two to notice each other. The two mighty little specks, now graduating from the size of a pea to the size of a marble, had started talking with each other, ignoring the much bigger giant literally in front of him. Slowly but surely he could hear their deep voices as they continued to talk.

"...excuse you! I am much bigger!"

"Wrong! For I am the bigger one between the two of us!"

"How about I prove it to you right now? AAAAAAAAAARRGH!"

"AAAAAAAAAH!"

The dragon frowned eyeing the growing spheres of muscle. Were they fighting for who's the biggest? The fact that they were trying to one up each other when he was here right in front of them was making him chuckle, chuckles that turned into full-blown laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ah, I had missed such contests!" He laughed, already more entertained than he was from his accelerated growth spurts. He would have held his incredibly dense stomach if his arms weren't so musclebound. He continued to laugh, even when the two in front of him slowly turned to see the incredibly large head laughing at them.

The dragon sighed, teary eyed as he regarded the two. Now that they were more like little balls to him, he could see their shocked faces, all but staring at him as he grinned. "Hello there! It's been a while since I've had actual people to talk to. And it seems you two are like me as well!"

The two simply stared, suddenly their larger-than-reality bodies felt so incredibly puny compared as the larger dragon continued to talk. "I would introduce myself, but I had forgotten my name entirely. It's been so long..." The dragon sighed as he moved his head, the walls surrounding his head moved and flexed accordingly. The two were having varying reactions, staring at what they could at the looming dragon, the idea that they were just a small speck to him where they are right now, and became even more scared than before. "And so, who are you two? Let's start with the blue one."

Said blue one, a blue furred wolf, was basically shivering, his previous bravado swept away just like that as he stuttered an answer. "I'm, uh...Fret, sir."

"Fret..." the dragon chuckled, the entire cavern shook around them all. "A nice name, but please don't be scared."

"Y-you're so huge..." Fret stated.

"Wise." The dragon merely stated. "And just like you two, I'm still growing."

"That's fucking impossible..."

The two turned to the green one, the alligator forgetting about his own growth and simply stared over his bloated pectorals. The dragon chuckled. "Language, little guy."

"How the fuck are you still growing?!" The gator asked. "I, uh..." he turned to his fellow muscle giant to the side. "We just outgrown our realities, and you're...so much bigger!"

"Ah, interesting. You two came from different places?" The dragon innocently ignored, deciding to make them feel welcome instead of feeling terrified. He wanted to enjoy this as much as he could, and he couldn't do that when his audience were scared of him. "And your name?"

"Uh, Stuart, sir." The gator replied. "And yeah, I think we do."

Fret scoffed, flailing his arms in a failed attempt to cross his arms across his humongous chest. "Well that's true, else I would have known who it was taking MY rightful title as a mus...cle..." The wolf trailed as he heard their surroundings groan. The dragon took deep breaths, groaning in pleasure before eventually relaxing.

"Hehe, sorry. Didn't mean to frighten you two."

"What happened?" Fret asked.

"Ah, my growth just accelerated again."

"A-accelerated?" "A-again?" They sputtered. The dragon could see them get scared again. He didn't like that, he wanted to know these two, to talk to them, especially since his growth was speeding up again.

He briefly wondered how much mass was he putting on his body now, but threw that thought out.

"Never mind that you two." The dragon dismissed it. "Besides, I want to hear more about you two, what your place of origin looks like. I've been bored just growing here."

"Can't you stop?" Stuart asked, prompting the dragon to sigh tiredly.

"Haah, if only I could." The dragon sadly mumbled, making the two smaller specks turn to each other. The unnamed dragon merely continued. "But like I said, enough about me. I want to hear about you two. Tell me what kind of life you two lead before becoming this."

Fret and Stuart, two people who had just met and were growing larger than realities, nodded. They slightly sympathize with the dragon. Though they were at the stage where their growth was more of an enjoyment than a liability, maybe the dragon can shed some insight on how he became like this.

And so they talked about their own little experiences, how different each and every reality they originated from. Stuart lived in a more technologically-advanced world, with things like mobile communication devices and carriages with no horses needed, only an engine.

"Wow, that all sounds so good." Fret lamented, admittedly a bit jealous. "My place was just all farms and fields and stuff. Kinda want to go there at your place."

"Indeed, it all sounds interesting." The dragon had some inkling on what his origin looks like for some reason, but he remembered his life was more...simple.

The topic of their origins continued, with the dragon also sharing what he could of his home. He and Fret had begun talking animatedly when they realized their origins were similar, bonding over having such simple lives, though they made sure to not let Stuart feel included. Though, at some point, the topic in hand turned into the source of their growth.

"Mine was because of a fucking experiment." Stuart started. The gator could feel the looming eyes of "I...got volunteered for a little experiment about growing muscle mass and then it all exploded like shit. See, there was this laboratory that was-"

"Uh, Stuart? Can you use more..." Fret aired. "...simple words?"

Stuart was about to complain till he realized he was the only one here from the modern era. "Right. I forgot, sorry. Anyway, there was a group that had discovered something that will help people grow...and then, as you can see, it was too much." He uselessly flailed about his limbs, and the two understood. "I kind of liked it, though...eventually..."

The dragon chuckled. "Quite a side effect, isn't it?"

"Yeah..."

The wolf scoffed. "Well, unlike you, I was seeking power from the start." It was Fret's turn to share, and he seemed real proud to do so. "I caught wind of a powerful artifact that would help me become the strongest, and so I did and now look at me." The wolf flexed, his body doubling in size. His brief show of pride was sadly shot down as the dragon chuckled.

"My, my, you surely are the biggest around."

"Stop that, sir. I knoooow."

The three laughed it out loud, before the dragon groaned again, his growth accelerating once more. The unnamed titan of hyper muscularity, breathed out loud, seeing the specks slightly shrink. It seems their growth is constant unlike his unpredictable one. And so the two began being curious about the dragon's curious growth.

"Wait, you really don't know?"

"Truly. One day, I woke up bigger, and then it just continued until..." He moved his head around and the walls of this mass cavern moved accordingly. The two became curious, sharing stories about their ascension, about their growth to be bigger than realities itself. It was a pleasant experience for the three of them, especially so for the dragon. Just simply...having someone to just talk to was an incredible relief to him.

As the conversation continued, the dragon saw Fret and Stuart shrink slowly and surely. He knew that they were starting to realize that, evident with how much their voices trembled. And yet the trio continued to converse and talk with each other, sharing mundane stories about their life, facts about their original reality, anything; all while ignoring the looming elephant in the room as best as they can.

Eventually, though, it was becoming too much. The size difference was becoming intense between the dragon and the two. It was to the point he could barely hear their voices. Fret and Stuart talked amongst themselves, the dragon feeling the loneliness creeping up to him as he-

"Sir Gigant!"

The dragon looked over, narrowed his eyes to the specks of the two getting smaller. It was a few minutes till what they said registered to his mind.

"...Gigant?"

"We gotta fucking call you something!" Stuart screamed to the top of his lungs.

"We'll find a way to catch up to you! Count on it, Gigant!"

The dragon was blank-faced for a while before he let out a jovial laugh. "Gigant! I like that! Thank you, you two!"

He smiled as the two looked more and more like specks of dust. He could barely hear their words, something along the lines of 'wait for us!' and 'don't grow too much!'

The nameless- no, he has a name, now. Gigant stared at them as they slowly shrunk smaller and smaller until he could barely see them, until they were entirely gone from his sights, and yet he knew those two were there, still growing and willing to grow much faster for him.

For him.

"Thank you, you two." He whispered as softly as he could. If the two said their welcome, then he was sure those words wouldn't reach his ears. That's okay, the intent was enough for him.

"Hmm, though I wonder how they'll do that..." Gigant mused to himself, going back to his usual past time of thinking and feeling his body grow, the pleasure tickling his senses once more. It was as if that last conversation refreshed his senses, suddenly every inch of growth was as pleasurable as the first days of his growth spurt. He could barely imagine what an accelerated spurt would do to him.

Despite this, he wondered about Fret and Stuart. Are they gonna go back to their original reality and get help? That would be entertaining to watch, seeing gods like them interact with their realities. He had done it once and it was an overwhelming ordeal, mostly because he was being asked what to call him.

"...Gigant, huh?"

It fits him. That name was a bit too on-the-nose, but it really fits him. He hoped he could remember it once they came back.
