Ch 1
Greetings
Hi I am Ryan Raven and I am 16 years old. I live in a world called Cyclone. On Cyclone it is the year 2204. Ya I know what you are thinking, "what the... how am I reading this?" well I will tell you it is not easy to send things to the past and to another planet. Anyway I will spare you the details on how I did that so I can get straight to the point. But... I will get you up to speed so that you can follow ok; here it goes... the life that I am living got its start in 2182. It was when Dr. Evan was the first person to crack the human genome. Yes he won the Cyclone of Peace, which is like your Noble Peace Prize. The word peace in the Noble Peace Prize is literal because after the genome was cracked we knew what humans are all about and what illnesses we could now help in curing. Yes it was great for only 5 years, when Dr. Evan started genetic experiments with animal to make them smarter. But what he didn't know was that the human genome would do more than that.
Soon after the doctor introduced the human genome in to the feline family and the canine family the animal babies started to change. (And yes there were other animal experiments, he just started off with the feline and canine families first.) The animals learned to walk and talk like a normal human baby. They had opposable thumbs and human looking hands besides the normal padding that most all animals have. When their bodies changed they looked more human.... Well from the neck down to the feet. The feet resembled more like an animal's in some ways. Their heads looked more like the head of the animal that the genome was placed in. The animals all have fur all over their body like any other animal would.
The doctor then decided to give the new race of beings a name. He pondered and pondered till he came up with the name Crossbreed. This was because of the combination of the human and animal genome mixing. When the public found out that this Crossbreed was made using the human genome, some were amazed while other were outraged and wanted them dead.
Now then, 10 years later the Crossbreed, were segregated. It would take 25 years for the Crossbreed to be accepted in society.
It would be 10 more years before interbreeding would come about. This means that the human race and the Crossbreed race would be able to mate. Yes it is a weird time, but that moment sent something in to motion. The first of the babies that the Crossbreed human relationship ever made, it was born looking like a human or sometimes a Crossbreed. Then for 13 years of those children's lives, doctors studied them. Then something unforeseen happened to some of the children, they started to change, the human looking child could change in to a Crossbreed, and the Crossbreed child in to a human. The doctors were amazed at this. They decided to name the new breed the Hybrids. Five more years of studying the children proved useful. They were now capable of stopping the transformation, temporarily, because if the hybrids don't change they will die.
Then it came to be that Crossbreeds and humans mated and had children of their own. This leads you to where my story begins.
