#10 of Xavier's new hope
Chapter 10 : WAR!
Xavier stood quietly as the wind blew calmly across the city streets, He smirked to him self. Zak and Siera join him, by his sides all ready for battle. The dragon stood on the roof of a skyscraper holding a modifyed .50 caliber sniper rifle. Xavier walked slwoly towards the edge of the city, the street seeming turns to a snad road, in the distance a large black line creeps over the horizan.
"Are you sure we can take them Xavier?" Zak asked questionably.
Xavier looked back, his eyes glew a dark red. " Of course." HIs voice sound demonic and his tounge lashed out over his lips. The serpant tounge seemed to have a life of its own.
A human soilder looks to the city as he sighed from the heat. The comander looked back.
"To arms men!" He shouted loudly.
Tanks and other vehicles rolled up, the heat almsot baked the men inside. Soilders on foot pant and take a drink from their water canisters. Thousands of men and women marched with their usual weapon the military can afford.
Xavier growled as he unsheathed his blade. The blade was diffrent, it was longer now covered in a red tribal marks. He smiled evilishly as red flames bursted around him as he seemed more powerful then he first learned of his poweres.
Zak and seira both took their assinged spots to ambush the soilders as they entered the city. Zak ran up the stairs of a building exactly four floors up. Seira panted as she took the sixty-sixth floor of the building across from him. She smiled as she though of her cusions new found power, she knew he would make a peace of the war.
Johana sighed as she kept back away from the fight as the other furs madea deal to protect her with their lives. She stayed in the bomb shelter below the city which held the entire city. (Think of it as a city beneath a city)
Xavier stood his guard at the entrance to the city, his eyes narrowed and his tounge lashed out again licking his chops. Behind him the city was quiet not a single car, nor fur walked by. Paper and leaves flew from a gently breeze, the cooled air from the high tech city helped the furs stay cool.
"Johana, you know I have to do this. I can;t stand by the side lines as these humans try and take over our freedom. They want us for the things we can do." Xavier said as he held Johana close, her belly round with pups.
"I know love, But I fear the worst will happen." Johana said as she held onto her mate tightly. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
Xavier and johana held each other tightly as they knew the war was comming soon. Out in the livving room Zak,Siera and Mr. Kumyachi sat at the diner table fixing their weapons. Siera looked to a pistol on the table, her eyes glowed a tint of green, the pistol slowly floated up and cocked it's self. She smiled as she was having a hard time making the gun stay afloat. Zak blinked as he watched the gun float, his ear flicked as he looked to his sister and she was squinted, her mind hard of concentration.
he gun suddenly goes off, everyone jumps and Siera meeps as she flails her arms out and falls backwards from her chair. She hits the ground and sighs as she looks to the livving room.
"This sucks." Siera said calmly.
"Don't worry sis, you'll get the hang of it." Zak smiled as he helped her up gently.
Johana and Xavier ran out, Johana of course holding her stomach in protection, Xavier his blade out and ready for battle.
"What the hell is going on?!?" Xavier growled as he sheathed his blade.
"Sorry! I was just trying out my powers, I accedently set the gun off!" Siera said flaling her arms around paniced she might have upset her cusion.
JOhana sighed with relief as she walked back to the room, she was tired and layed down, Xavier walked in behind her and rubbed her side. She smilked abit and looked over. Xavier new what she wanted and layed with his mate, he held her close and gently as his wing came out and over her gently to keep her warm and close to him.
A sudden blast hit a building making it crumble to the ground, XAvier looked up and growled as he blurred from sight with unthinkable speed. His powers much more stronger than anything before. Zak grunts as the building shakes slighly from the blast, Siera held onto the railing as she awaited for the first platoon to enter the city.
Zak smirked as he heading out to the window and stood on the narrow ledge of it, his eyes glinted, with that armour surrounded him. It was a like a magical armour that shined the clolor, it was unbreakable and held great strength.
The soilders stoped a meer two hundred yards out side the city, they stood waiting, most of the men and women were scared of what is to come. Death huanted the air as they stood quietly, wind blew sand at the soilders, the tanks engines roared awaiting the command to strike.
Suddenly Xavier laughed with enjoyment as he made the first strike, his blade cut a hundred of the soilders, he was in the middle of a crowd as the soilders he just slashed stood motionless, their eyes wide. Their bodies soon showing the cut, their clothes fell down, blood seamed through the clean slice, they fell in half to the ground.
The other soilders gasped and stood scared as then the cammanding office shouted.
"Fire!" He yelled loud enough for everone to ehar.
The soilders aimed their guns at the hybrid and began to unleash their metal projectiles. Xavier smirked and dodged one after another. He grined as he enjoyed this feeling, warm blood splashed his face, his blade cut through hunderds of soilders, others ran for the city to take controll of it.
Siera and zak both seen this, they smiled as they Took their cahnce, Zak jumped from the height of his fall, Siera as well. Both of them yelled as Zak hit the ground first, his powers makeing a shock wave of force hit some of the soilders. The soilders seemed to be crushed by an invisibal force. Once Siera hit the ground she too copied her brothers shock wave, crushing other soidlers.
Mr.Kumyachi took aim with his rifle, firing one shot. The round screamed through the air and obliterated the human head and several more behind him. The dragon smirked as he pulled the bolt back and the roung ejected out and another took its place. He took aim agina firing off another round hitting his target always in the head.
The tanks let off their rounds as well, a few hitting the building in the city. Xavier growled and jumped into the air and slashed a couple of them in half. He landed on his feet as soilders retreted from fear. The cammanding officer yelled at them to stay in formation.
Zak and Siera killed every soilder that entered the city, they walked to the boarder and stood gaurd for any other who dare enter. Xavier suddenly blurred from the crod, the blood stained the sand as he stood calmly, his blade driped with blood. His muzzle as well.
"Don't You dare come back you hear me!!" Xavier roared out.
The cammander meeped and ordered the reamaining soilders to retreat. Xavier sighed as his power died down, the flames slwoly faded down. His blade retracted and he walked into the city as the soilders returned to their ships and left the city alone.
Zak and Siera both looked to their cusion and followed after him. Zaks armour seemed to retract into his back and dissappear. Seira just was her normal self (so to speak).
Xavier came to the center of the city and banged on the metal door with his mechanical arm.
"Its safe now, you can come out." He said as he looked to the small slit in the door that let the others know it was him.
The door opened slowly and as the three moved to the side to let them out. hundreds of furs qwalked out into their home city and went for their houses. Soon Johana came out and hugged her mate lovingly. Mr.Kumyachi sighed as he sat down on the side walk as the city became busy once more. To repare and replace the buildings.
"Oh, love!" Johana nuzzled her mate
"Hey love." Xavier said hugging back and nuzzlingly her neck.
Zak and Siera took this as a sign and walked to the city to help repare the damage. Siera used her pyshcic powers to lift a large pile of ruble up into the air and put it into a large truck. Zak used his stregnth to lift up large blocks and crush them for future use. Mr.kumyachi just worked the normal way and used tools.
Xavier walked his mate home as he sensed she was near to be givving birth to a new found son and daughter.
That concludes this chapter please let me know if this was great. I know its a jump into the future. But think of it more like a way to mkae others interested. I hope it works. Oh! and before I forget, I will be making changes to the story. A few small changes.
