Betrayal

by Skipai (c) 2023

Bloodnose sat there, the wagon rolled along the rough terrain as the sound of a whip was heard, the gruff sound of another of his kind called out for the enslaved creatures to move faster. The rat looked around at the thick foliage, the tree's that moved past as the large army marched behind the other carts. With a sly grin, the rat slowly showed his fangs, the long black tongue slid out as it trailed over each sharp yellow fang, leaving a thick gooey clear saliva in its wake. The male reached up as he trailed the large red scar along the top of his snout, it trailed all the way down to his nose that never recovered and remained blood red and scarred, that gave him a slight whistling noise every time he breathed in or out. It was then that the rodent saw something up ahead, a brief glimpse of smoke that had been hidden up to now, but the thinning of the forest had now gladfully given it away. A large hand shot up as he motioned for the army to stop and he spoke to the rat that sat in front of him. "Halt!"

The cart came to a halt as Bloodnose slowly rose and climbed down as he looked about. His left ear twirled around as he heard the footsteps of his second in command coming up to him and then without even looking in the direction of the battle scarred rat. "Hide the army, wait for my return and get ready. Any that come your way, kill them secretly." Bloodnose heard the other rodent move and he reached into the cart as he pulled out a few scrolls, the rat searched and found the right one again and placed the others back once more. "I won't be long." And with that, the large rat walked off into the thick foliage as the main group began to disperse and hide amongst the trees'.

With a deep breath, the cold night air made wisps of white mist whenever he exhaled, the large rodent came to a stop and looked about as he slowly removed various things, bones from previous victims, other items he had on his person that showed he was part of an evil invasion force and slowly the rodent had most of his armour off as he looked at himself, wearing nothing much but simple clothing underneath and a small travelling pack. Hiding the items in a bush, the rat knelt there as he piled some dead leaves on the pile and then he reached out to grasp at the bark of the oak tree and then pulled himself up as his claws dug into the tough bark. There the rat stood, his muscles firm and the male took a deep breath in and exhaled, slowly" as he felt his body begin to relax as those muscles loosened up.

Once Bloodnose had fully relaxed, the large rodent walked through the forest towards the scent of burning wood, the smell of vegetables being cooked and a hint of melted cheese in the air. Every single step that the large rat made was carefully planted down, relaxed and noisy to the point of not showing he was sneaking as his whole frame rose upwards as he came up to the clearing and saw the small abode in front of him, the door was closed, but the candle light that came out from the window, the flames dancing around as the small dark shadow outline of the mouse came into view. Bloodnose gave a brief evil grin, recomposed himself and walked up to the door, then with a outreached clenched fist, he gently gave the wood three knocks and then he stood back and waited.

The wooden door was old, darkened by rot as the larger rodent could see the imprint of his knuckles on the wooden planks, the whole structure appeared to be weak enough, that Bloodnose thought just by blowing hard on it, that the entire thing would fall off the hinges. The rat smiled on that as he heard the sound of feet shuffling forwards and Bloodnose quickly came back to his right posture, the face straightening a bit until there was just a casual smile. There was a loud clunk from the other side, followed by another as the door opened with the loud rusted cry from the hinges. The sound sent a shiver down the spine of the large rat, who took a step back as an image, a long forgotten memory flashed in his mind and it took all of Bloodnose strength to mentally pummel it back into that large chest he imagined in his mind.

The soft orange glow of the candle light came into the larger rat's vision as he looked at the middle aged male mouse and Bloodnose dipped his head as he slowly took out a rolled out scroll and he held it outwards. "Apologies for the time of the day, I only just arrived but we've been communicating by crow?" The rat looked at that wary look the mouse was giving him, the smaller hand paw moved and took the scroll as the rat looked and spoke. "I can hold the candle for you, if you wish?" The mouse looked thoughtful, the brow wrinkled a bit and then softened with a nod and held out the small brass candle holder, which the rat took hold and held it high enough, yet close enough for the mouse to see properly as the parchment was unrolled and the mouse read the words. It was then that the whole body language of the smaller rodent softened and he looked up at the rat. "Yes, yes! I remember now, please, do come in!"

Both rodents slowly moved into the small abode again as the large rat ducked to get inside the door and then looked about as he saw the small inside area and blinked. "This is a church?" The smaller mouse nodded as he took the candle holder away from the larger rat and walked down the few wooden benches. "It's nothing that big, not like the abbey but it's a place for the small community about here." The mouse placed the candle down on the table in the front of the benches as the larger rat slinked up behind, the long tail slid across the wooden planks as he nodded, the eyes took a look about the room. Bloodnose recorded everything about it as he saw the mouse move from the corner of his eye and he returned his gaze back from looking at the dusty, cobwebbed corners and to the mouse who brought two wooden cups under one arm and a bottle with another.

"So, how was your journey?" Avan asked as the mouse bit into the cork, pulled it out with a pop and then began to pour the dark reddish purple liquid into the first wooden cup, the sound of the thick liquid sloshed about as Bloodnose lifted a hand, his long fingers brushed over his scarred nose. "Well, it was a bit of a tale, to be fair. Not everyone wants to meet a rat on their journey." Avan nodded as the mouse handed over the wooden cup, then poured himself some of the exact same wine. "You're safe here, I did enjoy every love letter you sent me." Bloodnose watched as the mouse turned around and walked over to some shelves. "I especially liked your last correspondence, now where did I put it." Bloodnose watched as he reached towards his belt and slowly pulled a vial from his waist pack, opened the top as he tipped the contents into the furthest mug, then he quickly put the small vial back away again as he lifted up his own cup and took a sip. "Mm, is this strawberry wine?" Bloodnose asked as Avan turned back. "Oh yes, it's from twelve seasons ago, was actually a good summer that year, harvest was really good." The mouse forgot about the parchment and came back to the table, lifted up the wooden cup within his small hands, then took a sip of the wine. "Never tasted it before, it's actually turned out quite well."

"Ah. yes indeed. You never fail to surprise me on how good you can acquire and make wine." Bloodnose said as he slowly swirled the dark red liquid in the wooden cup of his own and then sniffed the rich aroma, the rodent thinking to himself that perhaps it would be best to keep this one alive, if only to make wine. The large rat watched as he saw the mouse slowly run his free hand over the loosely wrapped parchment, the sound of his fingers scraped over the rough surface of the paper as Bloodnose watched Avan very closely with his eyes. It was the first sign of the cheek muscles tensing up, that the rat knew that the stuff he had slipped into the drink was working, but the rat had to be sure as he waited. The conversation hadn't moved on as the mouse was quiet, only drinking from his cup as the rat sipped his own drink and then he licked his lips and spoke towards Avan. "Are you okay?"

With a yawn, Avan placed the cup down and shook his head. "No, think sleep is catching up to me, how late is it?" The mouse turned to look at the clock on the wall, but the rat pulled his attention back again. "It's quite late, why don't you finish that drink and we can go to bed, hmm?" Bloodnose looked at the mouse who had returned his gaze back towards him as Avan rubbed his eyes. "Yeah, sounds like a plan, we can discuss things in the morning." The mouse picked up the wooden cup again and downed the entire contents as Bloodnose got up and slowly stepped around the table and offered one of his hand paws. "Here, let me help you?" Avan looked at the hand paw in front of him, nodded his head and then took it as the large rat helped the mouse up and slowly walked to where Avan pointed, another small room off from this one as the rat ventured into the other room and smiled. There on the other side was a bed, just about large enough for the two, the rat turned his head and saw no windows, this room was further into the hill as he looked backwards, saw the door and his tail slid to the side and pushed the door closed behind them.

With the sudden weight of the mouse tugging downwards, Bloodnose slipped his arm under the other rodent and huffed as he lifted him upwards and guided him towards the bed, before he pushed him face first into it, the sound of the filling moved as he gave a sigh and then sat down alongside Avan as he looked at the male mouse that just laid there on his front, the rear of the mouse hung over the edge of the bed with his legs dangling down with the large foot paws rested on the floor, soles facing upwards. "Well, halfway there..." Bloodnose spoke quietly to himself, his mind wandering back to that crazy fox who gave him the mixture in the first place. The memory of that male fox, wafting some stinky smelling smoke in his face as he handed the rat the vial. "Drink and get him to taste your cum, be it mouth or arse and he'll do whatever you want for a full day." Bloodnose looked at Avan again and then with a huff, the rat got up and started to undress, pulling off his clothes as the male rat stood there naked, one of his hands moved down to grasp as his thick rodent penis and he gave a shudder to how cold his hand felt against his semi erect shaft.

"Kneel" Bloodnose ordered as he saw the mouse kneel down in front of him, then the rat stepped that little bit closer and with his hardening penis in his hand, the rodent wiped this cock head around those lips of the mouse as he then gave another order, his voice firm. "Open." Bloodnose watched as the mouse opened his mouth, then with a thrust, the rat slipped his cock into the open maw of the rodent and then with his hands gripped about the back of the head and then started to thrust in and out. The image in Bloodnose came to him again as the fox spoke. "Be quick, the initial enslavement won't last, make your target taste your arousal." The first wet ooze of his pre squirted out as the rat groaned and the mouse felt the warm salty taste, the mind sinking even more into the darkness as Avan watched from a distance as he yell quietly in the darkness, the mouse felt himself losing his mind, quite literally as he saw the rat groin move back and forth as that cock slipped about around the wet inner fleshy walls of the mouth, the way that the tongue slurped around the head and the shaft and yet, Avan didn't feel a thing.

What happened next wasn't anything good or even romantic as Bloodnose dug his claws into the side of the head of the mouse and thrusted quick and fast as his wet saliva covered shaft wetly slurped around those wet lips of the mouse, the head of his penis swelled as the rodent grunted and then with a snarl, the thick white ropes of his cum splashed out onto the roof of the mouth, the fleshy inside of the cheeks, against the tongue and then the thick liqu9id started to fall down into the waiting throat as it drank the hot salty liquid hungrily. There were a few moments where Bloodnose just stood there, his cock throbbing until he wetly pulled his penis out, then he looked at Avan and spoke again. "Get me the keys to the Abbey."

Avan watched as he saw himself get up, the mouse just floated within his mind as he screamed loudly, no sound could come from his mouth though as he watched himself walk over to where the loose stone in the wall, the mouse hand reached out as it pulled it away and the other grabbed the metal keychain, pulled the keys out and then walked back to the rat. Avan didn't want to hand them over, but his body just held out the keys and with horror, the mouse saw the rat take the keys and then something came to the side of his vision and then nothing, just darkness. Bloodnose looked down at the fallen mouse who he had just hit on the side of the head with his free hand, the rat smiled and then quickly got dressed as he walked over to the door and then opened it. Without looking back, Bloodnose walked a few paces away from the home of Avan and then stopped. Without turning his head back, he spoke out. "I didn't kill him, he's all yours now, I have no more use for him." And with that, the rat continued to walk off as his nose twitched, detecting that familiar scent of smoke in the air. A dark form quickly entered the door, before it shut behind them. As for Bloodnose, he made his way to where he knew his army was waiting further on in the woods.

It was Scar that he saw, his second in command and the rodent nodded to him, he spoke quietly to the other rodent and held the keys carefully in his hand paw. "Let's go, just the small group, the rest follow in after a signal that the grounds are safe." Bloodnose led the way as the made their way around the outside of the wall, keeping themselves very close as they made sure to be extremely quiet, avoiding the occasional sentry that walked along the top. Due to no alarm being sounded, there were few of them as it was during peace time and Bloodnose wanted to keep it that way as he finally reached the side smaller door of the Abbey itself, the rat looked about and carefully slipped the key into the lock, slowly turned it and with a click, the rat pushed the door open and then stepped aside as he whispered to the group of weasels in front of him. "You three, sentries on the wall, deal with them. You other three, deal with anyone on the grounds." The rat watched as the six weasels silently slipped past and he waited, Bloodnose ears listened to the quietness that the dark night brought and then he heard the first low muffled sound of death, then a near silent sound of a blade sinking into another. Eventually, one of the weasels returned and nodded his head. "Grounds and wall secure, even took out some badger by the front door of the building."

Slowly, Bloodnose entered the grounds and he started to walk across the grass as he looked at the darkened windows, all of those inside were asleep, the sound of the others moved towards the larger gates as the rat stepped onto the first stone step and then he walked up the steps as his main force entered the grounds from the opened up gat at the front. Quickly, his team of assassin bodyguards came up beside him as he opened the doors and then spoke. "Secure everything, no killing, just knock them out and remove their weapons. I'm going to go to their leaders room." The weasels nodded as the rat nodded to two other rats as they followed up the stairs. Bloodnose followed the corridor as the sounds of muffled cries, thuds and then silence as his team took care of any threats, the rat came up to the door and opened it as he entered and saw the old mouse sleeping soundly in his bed. Bloodnose walked over and then placed a hand over the mouth and nose, blocking the air as he saw the mouse wake up rudely and let go as the male sat up and coughed loudly, but then stopped as Bloodnose had pulled out a small blade and pressed it to the throat of the old mouse. "Guess what? It's all mine Now." The fear in the old mouse stared as one of the rats started to close the door as Bloodnose slit the throat just as the door closed.

Hours later, Bloodnose had his chair in the main hall of the building, the rays of sunlight shone through the windows and there in front of him were the torn up parchments of the so called tapestry, the rat smiled as he looked to the sight of the so called hero, tied up and forced onto their knees, his hand paws tied to his back as the rat looked to his right to the sword he had in his possession now. "Light it." Bloodnose ordered as he watched a fox step forwards with a lit torch and set the ripped up tapestry ablaze as it burned in front of the tearful, yet frowning mouse. "They never did finish it, did they? I wonder why they never really foretold this day, maybe you should ask them when you meet them." Bloodnose gave a nod and as quick as the nod happened, the mouse found himself gagging as the open wound in his neck, then the mouse fell to the stone floor as the rat smiled. It was all his now, nothing could ever go wrong. With a sigh, he leaned back in his seat and content, watched as the dead mouse was dragged outside. "Once the pit is complete, throw our slaves in there, they have a lot of work to do." The rat turned to his most trusted weasel. "Keep an eye out for any hares, we must be prepared, just in case they decide to check up one day." And there, Bloodnose watched on quietly at the flames that danced about, the smoke that rose to the top of the room and then slowly drifted out of the front door.

It was all his, nothing could ever go wrong, Bloodnose had won where others had failed. What could possibly go wrong now?
