Your roommate had been missing for a few days suddenly and you even filed a missing person's report for them. While you gave a few swings and practiced blocking you noticed a health bar appear in the top left of your view.

Slashing the battle start button, you were suddenly teleported to a gladiator arena. Hearing the roaring cheers of the crowd to get on with the next match. The gates rise in front of you, allowing you to walk forward before shutting behind you. On the opposite side of the arena a rat creature walked inside. A bit too easy but it was just the first enemy so hopefully it would get better from there.

Moving to block their second strike with your shield before bringing your sword down on the bandit. Having to swing and block a few more times before the feline collapsed then faded away. Taking a moment to take a breather, not expecting the game to require so much movement on your part.

The cheering of the crowd grew louder as a large wolf barbarian entered the arena. His greatsword was like something out of an animal with how long and wide the blade was. Unlike the previous two opponents however the wolf was slow, likely due to how heavy the sword was. Even his wind up for his swing seemed slow, so it should be easy to block at least. When you went to move your hand to block the swing however, you hit the wall and watched as the massive blade cleaved you in two.

A prompt to try again then popped up while you shook your hand to shake off the small amount of pain you felt from hitting the wall. You'd have to be a bit more careful since the play area in your roommate's room wasn't that big. Slashing yes to try again, you respawn in the arena with the wolf approaching you. This time you blocked the swing but there was enough force behind it to still take a sliver of your hp away. Making you dodge on the next swing before stabbing the wolf.

You then saw his blade swinging for your head and if you had actually been there, the blade likely would have sliced part of your ear off. Thankfully you didn't take any damage despite how close the blade came, the hit box must be generous. Being a bit more careful on your next few attacks on the wolf so you could take them down without being one shot. When the wolf fell, you almost felt like you had to sit down for a minute but one more fight should be okay.

Next up was a fox archer which was more annoying than anything since you had to block repeatedly while moving forward. The fox was kiting you at the same time however so you had to use all your stamina between shots to get close to them. Once you were in range the fox then swapped to dual wielding short swords. Making you block when they swung the first but then slashing at you with the second, making you lose a chunk of hp. It was hard to find an opening and to block with both your shield and sword effectively. Getting down to just a few hp remaining when you finally got the final blow on the fox.

By the end of the fight you were starting to feel sore and realized you could use a breather. When you went to pause however you just got a warning that you can't pause during a boss fight. A bit annoying but if you die, you can at least just sit on the try again screen for a few minutes. Looking around, you couldn't even see an opponent for you to fight. Starting to wonder if the game bugged when you heard a dragon's roar and looked to the sky.

A red dragon was circling above you and flew directly between you and the sun in the sky before descending. The bright light made you look away temporarily as you started to backpedal while holding up your shield. They landed with a thud, making you fall over in-game and spam a button to stand back up. His gold glowing eyes locked onto you as he opened his jaws, the insides of which were orange and glowed brightly. The glow got even brighter and you raised your shield to block the flame breath. Watching the flames blow out around your shield until the attack ended and you watched your shield turn to ashes.

Now without any defense you took a swing at the dragon and your sword bounced right off their scales. This was just unfair and if you were supposed to have better gear by now you certainly never saw an option to do so. Before you could take another swing the dragon spit a little fire onto the sword and you watched it melt, making you drop it.

Completely helpless, you stood there waiting for the dragon to likely burn you to a crisp. It did make you a bit upset to end a run this way but you needed a small break anyways. You watched as the red dragon opened his jaws once more, staring into the bright orange insides. Bracing yourself for the inevitable fire coming your way only for the jaws to envelope you. This certainly wasn't what you expected but the game over should come soon.

When they lifted you in-game, you felt a pull on your body and the weight of the headset vanished. Your clothes were gone and suddenly you felt the very hot breath of the dragon. His large tongue slathering you with saliva as you were lifted high into the air until you were upside down in the dragon's jaws. Flailing your legs and tail outside the snout while you grasped your own head, trying to remove the headset but you couldn't feel it. Not only that but you definitely weren't holding controllers anymore either. You were teleported into the game for real and you were about to be eaten by this dragon. Suddenly you had a good idea what happened to your roommate.

The jaws opened slightly and you felt yourself slide towards the throat. You reached out to it to try and stop yourself from going in any further. When your fingers touched the back of his throat however it opened up and slipped inside. Before you could even pull back both of your hands were then squeezed tightly together by their throat. You then felt a tug as he took his first swallow, pulling you inside up to your elbows. At this point your knees entered his muzzle, leaving very little of you outside.

A small flex of his throat was enough to pull more of your arms into his throat and smoosh your face against the soft, wet flesh. His next real swallow you'd see down into his throat briefly before you were pulled down further into it. Claiming most of your upper body with ease, squeezing over it with the tight throat muscles. Feeling the throat knead around your body as the rippling motion of the muscles go over you. Only intensifying when his next swallow came pulling the rest of your body into the dragon's neck. Given the size difference you likey only made a small lump in his throat.

Squelching deeper still down his throat, your eyes were directed to your health bar. Already your health was dropping from just how tightly the throat was squeezing you. Having an idea of when exactly you'd die in this world wasn't exactly comforting. The deeper you went, the hotter it seemed to get inside the dragon. By the time you were pushed out of his throat and into his stomach, it felt like a sauna.

While the dragon's stomach was a bit spacious, you were still forced to curl up. Leaning against the squishy flesh, listening to the gurgling groans all around you. An acid status effect then appeared next to your health bar and it turned from green to purple. You'd try to struggle but it didn't help at all, if anything you just got a pleased growl out of the dragon. Your health dropping faster by the second, closing your eyes to try to ignore it didn't even help since the bar was still visible.

Once it hit zero, you could feel yourself die in a way as the dragon's stomach absorbed you entirely, likely as experience. Strangely when you opened your eyes the option to try again was there. You had died but you could still survive and possibly have some way to move forward in this world. When you went to hit no however, you realized the option was grayed out and only yes was an option. It seemed you had no choice but to face the dragon again.

Upon hitting yes, it was like you were loading a save but the save was right when the dragon had melted your sword and turned your shield to ash. You were stuck in an infinite loop unless you could try and find a way out of this. Dodging the dragon's jaws as they descended upon you by running around to the side. The crowd was cheering for the dragon champion to devour you for their entertainment, disappointed you dodged the blow.

You weren't able to get very far before you felt the dragon's tail slam into you, knocking you onto your ass and forcing all the air out of your lungs. Grasping your stomach as you saw your hp drop from the hit and tried to take a deep breath to refill your lungs. A shadow then went over you and before you could stand to run again, you saw the dragon's haunches descend upon you. Unable to even push against the heavy rump with your arms firmly pinned against your body. Things were only going to get worse though as you noticed where your muzzle was. Once again you were completely trapped within the dragon though unlike before it would take a while for you to meet your end. You'd take small amounts of damage to your hp along the way but nothing too major. For the most part it was just discomfort especially whenever you met a bend in his intestines. Eventually you'd arrive in his stomach and meet the same digestive end as before.

Back on the try again screen, you'd sit there for a minute and contemplate whether you even should hit the button again or not. If nothing else you could at least sit in this empty void to catch a breather and think of some solution. Before a minute even passed however a ten second countdown appeared over the yes option. You weren't sure if this was a permanent give up or what would even happen if you failed to hit the timer. So in a panic you hit yes just to be sure you had another chance.

Again you found yourself in the same unfortunate situation that seemed completely unwinnable. This time running between the dragon's legs without even thinking before he could snap you up with his jaws. In turn the dragon just laid down atop of you, pinning you with his soft scaled underside. A bit of pudge on the dragon from all the other fights they won. No amount of squirming could get the dragon to get up off of you. This was definitely another failed run but at least you could try and think of a solution for next time.

You felt the dragon start to slide forward a bit, rubbing his belly along your body. At least until your muzzle came in contact with the dragon's sheath which was fairly large. Hopefully the dragon didn't try to have sex with you since your small body likely couldn't survive the damage from that pounding. No matter what the dragon had planned, it likely wasn't good for you.
