The Dragoness's Hunger

By: Theo Winters

Written for Shikaro

Raidy lay on her back, enjoying the sun over her scaled belly. The long dragoness rubbed her stomach with one paw, her belly rumbling. She was hungry, but then again, she was always hungry. It seemed to be all that the she ever was, just hungry, forever hungry.

Closing her black eyes she relaxed back into the grass, wiggling her long body to rub her thick fur against the ground, scratching the itch on her back. She had been hungry for as long as she could remember, ever since she had hatched she had been craving food and never once in her seventeen years had she really been full. The hunger was always there, always filling her body, filling her mind.

And it seemed to grow stronger with every passing day.

She tried to block it out, tried to enjoy the sun on the scales that ran along her belly from her chin to her tail. She had all the food she needed, she was a good dragon, eating only what she was suppose to... except she never did. She had always hunted her own food, her own meals.

There was a sound of something in the woods behind her. In a single move she twisted and rolled over onto her large feet, her thick tail swaying behind her as she scanned the woods, trying to find the source of the sound. It a moment she saw it, a doe grazing just inside the forest.

Without a sound she started to creep across the clearing, her sharp claws pulling at the grass. For a creature that was almost twenty feet long she moved with a deceptive ease, her long torso swaying side to side as she moved closer to her prey. She could smell the animal as it grazed, not even aware of her, not yet.

Raidy stroked her thick tail tip over the grass in anticipation as her belly rumbled. She was only feet from the animal now and it still was grazing. Holding her breath the fur covered dragoness reached out and scooped the deer up in her claws.

Now the doe understood she was in danger, but it was too late. As she struggled the dragoness ran her long tongue over the animals back, enjoying the taste of it. With a smile she opened her jaw, feeling the familiar pop as it unhinged, then shoved the deer's head into her muzzle. The deer kicked but she simply swallowed as she pushed on the animal, feeling it slide over her stick tongue and into her throat. Two more gulps was all that was needed to send the deer sliding down into her belly, the legs sliding down her lips with a pleasant slurp.

The dragoness let out a pleased sigh as she felt the doe struggling in her belly for a few more moments, the kicks doing nothing but making her scales bulge. With a contented smile she locked her jaw back into place and turned to walk back into the center of the clearing, her heavy belly swaying with each step that she took. It was a start, but even so much food didn't make her feel full, and she knew I would be gone in a few more hours and she would have to eat again.

She circled around the clearing on all fours, enjoying the weight as she felt it starting to digest. She didn't dare take more for the forest, the rest of her clan would notice if too many prey vanished unexpectedly.

Raidy was almost finished with her turn when she discovered she was not alone. Standing on the far side of the clearing was another dragon, a young man half her age and a quarter of her size. He stood starring at her his mouth hanging open in surprise at what she had done. His tail was twitching, the fur on his back ruffling in fear.

Slowly she took a step towards him, wanting to ask him what he saw but the moment she moved he spun around and started running back through the trees, screaming at the top of his lungs.

"No, no, no!" Raidy said to herself. The young dragon was running right back to the clan's home and he was going to tell them everything she had done! She couldn't allow him to do that, not now, not when she had just eaten! She started running after him, charging as fast as she could go through the trees.

The young dragon had the advantage; he was smaller and could easily move between the trees where she was almost as large as the oldest elder. It took a great deal of effort on her part to run through the trees while slowly closing on him. She didn't have much time. He was only a few miles away from their home and was still screaming.

As soon as they came into a clearing she lunged forward, almost catching his thick tail in her paws. She snorted as he pulled away, ducking though a clump of trees that she had to go around. She pushed herself harder, feeling the trunks of the trees snapping against her sides as she ran as hard as she could. She found herself coming around the trees just as he came out of them, right in front of her paws.

With a pleased roar she dove at him, catching him in her paws and pulling him to her body as she rolled over him. They spun though the forest together, crashing through the trees, but she never let him go. They came to a stop with the young dragon trapped under her forepaws.

He continued screaming, louder than ever before and talking so fast his words were almost incoherent. The young dragon was calling for someone, anyone, to come save him.

"Please be quiet," she said to him, but he didn't quiet down.

Leaning down Raidy looked him directly in his eyes, in the distance she could hear other dragons moving through the trees. "If you know what's good for you, you'll stop it," she said, starting to worry what will happen if she got caught.

It did nothing to quiet the young dragon down.

Letting out a groan in frustration she glared down at the young dragon, then much to her own surprise she unhinged her jaw and shoved his head into her mouth! He froze for a moment, his crying stopping. She took advantage of it and swallowed hard, shoving him down her throat so fast she nearly bit of her own forepaws.

The young dragon made an odd lump as it slid down her throat and into her mostly full belly. She could hear his muffled yells for a short time before he joined the deer being digested.

Raidy stood frozen in place, the trees swaying around her as she licked her lips. She could hardly believe what she had done! She had ate one of her clan, a child, another dragon! It was the worst thing she could have done, ever have done, and yet... the taste on her lips and in her throat was wonderful, unlike anything she had ever tasted before. Much to her surprise the hunger had started to quiet. It wasn't gone, but it had shrunken to the size it had been a year before.

She didn't know what to feel, eating another dragon was wrong... but it made he feel so good!

A moment later two more dragons came upon her, running to see the source of cries. She turned to look at them, her hunger rushing forward as her belly rumbled, easily telling her what it wanted her to do, and she was happy to follow its direction.

Raidy looked over the two dragons, a smile small crossing over her muzzle. She knew them, Dalin and Sarith. They were a couple, seeming to be inseparable since they had been hatched. They were also her clutch mates, but even though they were the same age as her they were both smaller then her, though Dalin--as the male--was the larger of the pair.

"We heard the cries of a young dragon," Dalin said, stepping forward and casting his eyes around the clearing as Sarith looked into the tight grove of trees.

The smile on Raidy's face grew slightly bigger as a plan started to form in her mind. "I was following it as well. I think he went into the tight clump trees. Sadly they are too thick for me to enter," she said, stroking her thick tail to emphasize her width.

Sarith moved forward, pressing her head into the crop of trees. "I think I can make it through the trees," she said.

"You look inside," Dalin said then turned to look at Raidy. "You and I will look to the north."

The large dragoness nodded, her belly rumbling in anticipation. She took a few steps forward, watching as Sarith wiggled her way through the tight trees. Together she and Dalin walked around the clump, her hips swaying side to side her swollen belly stroking just above the ground.

Once they reached the other side she made a show of looking all around. "He could have gone in any direction," she said.

"He probably went in a straight line," Dalin said, starting to walk away from the clump of trees.

Raidy nodded. "Possibly, but the clan's home is that way," she said, pointing off to the west, "he could have tried to go there."

"Yes, I suppose he could have," he replied, biting his lip and looking between the two possible directions. He was never very good at making any sort of decision.

"You head that way, I'll go towards home, if I don't find him I'll back track and meet you here with Sarith," she said.

Dalin looked at her for a moment, his eyes narrowing as the thick fur on his head dropped across his face. "Yes, I suppose that is a good idea," he twisted around and called into the clump of tress. "If you don't find him, stay here until I get back."

"I will," Sarith called back, her voice slightly muffled.

Without another word Raidy turned and started to run to the west, charging through the trees. She only went a few hundred yards before looking back to see that Dalin was on the run as well, heading on his path. She skidded to a stop then slowly turned and walked back to the clump of trees, watching and waiting for the other dragoness. She didn't have to wait long until the white furred head pushed out from the trees.

"Hello Sarith," she said, smiling down to the dragoness.

The smaller dragoness looked up in surprised, stopping for a moment. "What are you still doing here?" she asked.

"I know where the young one is," she replied with a smile.

"You found him?" she asked, renewing her struggling, her neck starting to slip out between the tight tress.

"Yes, I did."

"Where is he?"

Raidy's smile grew wide. "Right here," she said, then snapped her jaw open and lunged down, shoving the smaller dragoness's head into her muzzle. She didn't even have chance to yell out in surprised before she gulped, Sarith's muzzle pressing against the back of her throat.

The smaller dragoness started to thrash, but the tight trees limited her movement. Raidy reached out with her forepaws and hooked them behind her meal's legs, pulling her forward as she gulped more, her lips on the other dragoness's shoulders.

Raidy's belly rumbled in excitement as she gulped again, feeling her muzzle stretched around the other dragon's shoulders. It was a tight fit, but she was able to get them past without too much discomfort. She licked her tongue over her prey's belly, tasting her fur and scales as she continued to struggle.

Now that Sarith was firmly trapped in her throat, Raidy reared back, pulling the dragoness between the trees which cracked and popped for the force of her travel. Reaching down she grabbed the smaller dragoness's hind legs and started to pull as she swallowed, feeling her skin in quickly, her throat and belly bulging at the size of her meal.

Stretching her body out Raidy gulped and gulped again, Sarith's head starting to slip into her already full belly. She could feel the dragoness still struggling, yelling out in fear but only the smallest muffled sounds escaped.

Things became easier as her hind quarters passed Raidy's lips and she found herself sucking down the thick fluffy tail. With one final gulp in vanished past her lips and slithered down her throat.

Letting out a belch, Raidy rolled onto her back, rubbing her bloated belly as Sarith struggled inside of it. Her hunger was lessened again, but still growing deep in her belly. She knew there Dalin would be back soon, giving her the chance of another meal... assuming that she could eat him. For the moment she felt like she couldn't move with the weight pressing down from inside her stomach.

She closed her eyes, feeling the struggle in her belly fade and finally stop. Rubbing a hand over the large swelling she could feel her belly churning, already starting to digest her third meal in less than an hour. It felt wonderful, her whole body feeling warm as the process went to work, the nutrients from her meal surging through her body.

Raidy felt like she was in heaven, her whole body glowing in pleasure. She wiggled against the ground, moaning softly. Over the next few minutes her belly started to shrink under her paws, the budge never going away but soon was small enough that she could get back onto her feet.

As she rolled back onto all fours she could hear Dalin returning to the clump of trees. Her next course had arrived.

She moved herself back, pressing her thick tail against the clump of tress, trying to play like Sarith was still in them, not that she though he would believe it, but she only needed him to let his guard down for a few moments. Her belly started rumbling in anticipation, her hunger quickly come back as strong as ever. Now she was happy allow it to make the decisions for her.

Licking her lips she lowered herself into a crouch, her large hind paws digging into the forest floor, ready to pounce.

A moment later Dalin walked out of the trees, slowly shaking his head. "I found no sign of any child, did Sarith find anything?" he said then looked up at her, his jaw dropping open in surprised.

Raidy looked down at the dragon, realizing with a start that she had somehow gotten bigger. Now instead of just being larger than the dragon she was towering over him.

He craned his head back to look up at her, his eyes wide as he started to shake a bit. "What... what happened to you?"

The large dragoness licked her lips again and slowly narrowed her eyes. "I'm hungry," she said, her words punctuated by the growling of her eager stomach.

"Oh no," he said softly, before twisting in place, trying to run away from her but he wasn't anywhere near fast enough.

With a laugh she leapt forward, grabbing his tail in her paws. Holding on tightly she shoved it into her muzzle and gulped hard, feeling it slide down her throat, his thick fur tickling the inside of her mouth.

Dalin kicked at the ground, trying to pull away, trying to get free, but he couldn't move. Her strong paws had moved up to the base of his tail and were holding him tightly in place. The dragon started to cry out, screaming and kicking as she swallowed more of his tail. "No! Don't eat me! Please don't eat me!"

Her only response was the growling of her very full belly as she pushed him further inside, her muzzle sliding up to the base of her tail to press against his strong wide rump. As dragons went he was pretty trim, but had such a nice wide backend.

"You ate Sarith, didn't you?" he said in a whimper, his four legs clawing at the ground.

With a grunt in affirmation she grabbed his hind legs and pressed them up to his belly. With a single gulp she managed to press his rump and hips into her muzzle, her teeth brushing through the long hair of his back.

He was starting to whimper now, a sound very unbecoming a dragon, and clawed at the ground with his forepaws. It didn't change a thing, he was going to join his mate in her belly and there was nothing anyone could do about it.

"Please, I don't want to be eaten," he whimpered.

Raidy snorted and shook her thick tail, slapping it against the trees around her as she gulped him down more, teasing her tongue over the tight scales of his belly as she neared his waist. Sadly he had stopped struggling. She loved it when her dinner kicked and screaming.

She reached up and grabbed his shoulders, pressing down on them as she swallowed again, enjoying the tight feeling of him filling her throat. She growled around him, her belly rumbling again as the tip of his tail starting to slip inside.

Dalin was starting to cry as his shoulders slip into her muzzle. "Please Raidy, please, don't eat me! Please? Please!" he begged.

Letting out a sight around her prey she swallowed again. She didn't want to hear him whimper and moan, and if he wasn't go to struggle on the way into her belly she just wanted to eat him as fast as possible. He reached up and grabbed his muzzle, trying to quiet him down.

The dragon struggled for a moment, his tail starting to twist in her belly only to hit her past meal. He froze for a moment then started to stream out, crying and yelling, starting to properly struggle in place, though it was far too late to do anything.

She let go of his muzzle.

"Help! Someone help! Raidy is eating me!" He screamed out as loud as he could.

With a pleased laugh the dragoness swallowed again, his forepaws vanishing into her muzzle leaving just the last bit of his neck and his head. He kept struggling in her maw, crying and screaming as more of his tail pressed into her belly, pressing it out.

Once more gulp and his head slipped into her muzzle. She held her jaw open for a few moments before slowly closing it around his muzzle. With one large swallow his head vanished into her throat as he started to slide into her belly, stretching it tightly.

Letting out a pleased belch she flopped hard onto her side and rubbed her belly with all four paws, feeling Dalin kick and squirm. "That's right where you belong, right in me belly alongside Sarith."

The dragon continued to squirm around her belly for a few moments before finally quieting down. She rolled her head back, drooling a bit as she felt her belly churn and start to digest her newest meal. A few moments later she felt herself starting to grow, her legs pushing across the grass as she felt the trees starting to press around her body.

Raidy rolled over onto her back, felling the weight of her full belly pressing down onto her. She rubbed over the tight curve of it, feeling the slightest gaps between her scales. Her hunger was almost sated, at least for the moment, but she knew it wouldn't last. Soon enough she would digest what was in her belly enough for it to return and when that happened she would need to find more to eat.

Lifting her head she looked down the length of her body, trying to judge how big she was. It was hard to truly tell, but she suspected she was at least double the size of the biggest dragon at the clan home. Her belly rumbled at the thought of that, she could almost eat him, and after a few more meals she certainly could.

A smile crossed over the hungry dragoness's lips. She also knew where to find her next few meals. With a grunt she rolled in place, climbing back up onto her four feet, surprised to find that her full belly pressed slightly against the ground. It was enough that she couldn't run, but she could still walk.

Flicking her thick tail against the trees, breaking one in half without even noticing it, she started walking towards the clan's home, her tongue lolled out of her muzzle and drooling over her chin. Her belly rumbled in approval, the heavy weight swaying side to side under her as she walked.

There would be four more dragons at the clan home, not counting the young ones. She wasn't sure how to eat them, but she would, she had to, her eager stomach demanded it, and she wasn't going to deny it anymore. After a life of being told how she shouldn't eat her fill she was not going to stop until she was done.

Her musing was brought up short when she felt herself come to a stop, two heavy weights pressing against her sides. Turning her head back she was startled to find that she was wedged between a pair of trees. The space between them was normally wide enough for her to pass thought, but now she was simply too large to fit between them.

Raidy let out a laugh and twisted her body against the tree feeling them shift and bend under her weight. She pushed back the other way, the sound of snapping wood filling the forest as the tree started to give way. Shoving herself hard to the side she felt one of the trees give way, but instead of break it was ripped from the ground, crashing to side with a deep thud that echoed though the standing trees.

Looking back at the fallen tree she smiled a bit more. The rest of the clan would hear that, no question about that, and someone might come to see what had caused it. In fact it would make it easier for her if they did come to see.

With a grunt she spun around, slamming her thick tail against the other tree. The cracked trunk splintered around her long white fur but didn't give way. She twisted and slammed against it again, her tail sinking deep into the wood. As she pulled it back the tree snapped like thunder before collapsing over the trail.

She started down the trail, slamming herself hard against every large tree she found. It wasn't enough to knock any of them down, but it sent cracking sounds through the forest, enough that she was sure someone would be coming to see what had caused it.

The dragoness pushed her way off the trail and started to circle around towards the clan's home, finally coming to the large clearing. She could see the tall trees that had been folded over, other thick braches had been laid against them to provide some cover from the rains that came in the fall. She could hear the sound of a few dragons in the clearing, but couldn't see anyone.

Raid slipped in, slinking low to the ground as her belly rumbled in anticipation. She looked into a few covered areas, finding two dragons sleeping soundly. Passing them by for the moment she continued to search for the source of the sounds.

She discovered them in the back of the smallest covering, four of the young ones, cuddled up together. They all looked up at her as she stuck her head in, their eyes wide. "What are you doing here?" one of them asked.

A smile crossed her face as she licked her lips, drooling more. Without a word she popped her jaw open and lunged, gabbing two in a single mouthful and swallowing them in a single motion, feeling them rush down her throat.

The other two cried out, but only for a moment as they quickly found their way into her mouth and soon joined their clutch mates in her belly.

It was only an appetizer, her belly rumbling again as she pulled her head out of the enclosure. She headed back towards the two sleeping dragons. They were on different sides of the clearing from each other so there was less risk of one waking the other.

She slipped up to the first one, a larger male that was twice her age and half her current size. His horns were long and ornate as they arched over the top of his head. Working her jaw open she reached out with one forepaw and hooked them behind his horns. In a single motion she lifted his head up and shoved it into her muzzle, gulping quickly.

The dragon woke up with a start then froze as he found his head already sliding down her throat. He started to struggle as she swallowed again, her lips pressing up to the dragon's shoulders. His long tail smacking against the ground and the trees, making them shake over her.

Raidy wrapped her forepaws behind her meal's front legs, pulling forward as she swallowed again, his shoulders wedging into her mouth. It was a tight fit but the drool in her mouth was slick enough to make the passage doable. Another swallow and he sunk in ever deeper, his thrashing growing even more desperate.

She pawed at his back, her claws running through his fur as she continued to swallow, each gulp sending him further down his throat and into her belly. Soon she found herself sucking his tail down between her lips, feeling his kicking in her gut.

The dragoness felt her belly press against the ground as she slipped back, turning around to find the other dragon no longer asleep and standing a few feet away from her. He looked up at large dragoness, his eyes wide. "Raidy... what's going on... and where is Filen?" he asked.

She smiled. "He had to go," she said, then let belch, the smell of her meals rolling over the much smaller dragon.

"Where?" he asked, taking a nervous step away from her.

Raidy smirked and leaned a bit closer. "I ate him."

"What?" he asked, a look of horror crossing over his face as he took another step back then started to turn so he could run away.

With a laugh she jumped at him, catching him before he could get more than a couple feet away. She pinned him to the ground and shoved his head into her mouth, letting him only get out a single yell. He was small enough that it was easy to eat him, but he was struggling hard, digging at her belly with his sharp claws, but not getting through the heavy scales.

It took only a few gulps to get both his neck and shoulders into his mouth, it wasn't even a tight fit and he slipped in without any trouble what so ever.

The dragon curled his legs around and kicked hard an her belly, sending it swaying heavily under her, her last meal still twitching inside of it. It was enough to make her gasp and stop her swallowing but not enough to let him get away.

He took advantage of it, swinging his tail around to smack at her neck, trying to forge her to let him free.

Raidy gagged slightly letting him slip back from her throat a bit, his shoulders sliding out of her muzzle. Her belly roared in response, shaking deep in her core, it wanted its food and it wanted it now. It was enough to shake off the impact.

She gulped hard; pressing down on him as his shoulders slipped back into her muzzle that was followed by his upper body. She grabbed at his hips, digging one paw into his side while the other clawed at the base of his tale. She pulled hard and she swallowed, forcing him down even deeper while he struggled to get free.

The dragoness pulled at his rump as she continued to eat him, pleased when his hind legs pressed up to her lips. His tail was snapping side to side, trying desperately to do something, anything, but there was simply nothing left he could do. After a few more short gulps the dragon's tail vanished down her throat.

Raidy let out a soft moan and rolled onto her side, rubbing her distended belly with all four paws. Her hunger was content for a moment, almost gone but still rumbling slightly as she felt herself growing, her body stretching out over the ground as her whole frame grew even larger. Even without looking she knew she had to be the biggest dragoness in the world.

A short time later she heard the sound of something moving through the trees. With a pleased groan she rolled onto her feet, stretching out, almost as long as the clearing was wide. Her eyes narrowed as the two elder dragons returned to the clan home.

Until this morning they were the two largest dragons in the clan, the couple significantly bigger than her, but now that was no longer the case. Now she was at least triple their length and towering over them with ease.

The two dragons said nothing instead they leapt at her simultaneously. The male dragon hit her under her neck at her forelegs while the elder dragoness slammed into her hips, together forcing her off of her feet. She rolled around as the two dragons starting clawing at her, claws digging against her fur and slipping between her scales.

Raidy struggled to get back to her feet but they pushed her back down. She could have taken either dragon on their own, but together they were going to be a problem. They just clawed and pressed at her, trying to get leverage, trying to get a claw through her thick fur and into her flesh.

She clawed at them in return, slamming the dragoness to the ground while the elder dragon's claws scraped along her belly, catching for a moment and almost pulling one of the large scales free.

Letting out a roar she crashed down on the dragon, slamming him hard to the ground as the dragoness jumped back at her again.

Raidy snapped her tail around, hitting the dragoness on the side of the head, sending her stumbling back. After that she grabbed the dragon in her paws, holding him against her belly and rolled to the side. She flipped over her back and landed on the dragoness, pinning both of the ender dragons under her bulk.

She looked down, seeing that the dragoness's tail and the dragon's head pinned between her forelegs, both of them struggling.

The elder dragon looked up at her. "Let us go! You do not know what you are doing!"

"I'm feeding my hunger," she replied. Her belly rumbling in anticipation as she unhinged her jaw then shoved both the dragon's head and the dragoness's tail into her mouth, pressing them together as she swallowed, feeling them slide down stretching her throat wider than ever before.

As the two dragons struggled together she gulped again, enjoying how they fought against her. She knew they wouldn't be able to get free. She shifted herself, pressing back and pulling the two elders forward, the dragoness's head pinned under her rump, crying out as she was eaten.

Raidy soon found herself presented with both the hips and shoulders of the two dragons. They were hard to get into her mouth, having to force her jaw further apart than ever before, and even harder to swallow together. The lump they formed catching in her throat, almost too big to eat... almost.

She had to take it slow, working them down with small gulps as the bulge separating the scales on her throat and belly. Oddly she found it felt even better than going fast, the two dragons were still struggling, their claws pressing around each other, trying to claw at her to save themselves, only stopping as their paws pressed inside of her muzzle.

Now the angle was awkward for her. There was only so much slack she could give the dragons under her before the bend in her neck was too tight swallow them anymore. With a grunt she flopped her body back and to the side, twisting around to straighten her for out so she could finish her meal.

As soon as she was uncovered the elder dragoness let out a cry. "Stop this, stop this right now!" she ordered, gasping for breath.

The only response was swallowing again, feeling the pair of dragons sliding down her throat, their combined bellies pressing into her jaw. They still were kicking, but it was growing less.

"Raidy, please, do not do this. You have no idea what you're doing!"

The hungry dragoness slapped her tail to the ground and shook her head a bit between gulps, reaching up to press her paws on the dragoness's shoulders, forcing the pair of them down her throat. Her belly was still rumbling, twitching in excitement as her meal started to press inside.

Another gulp brought their legs up to her lips, the combined hips and rump easier to press into her mouth this time, though it still took her a few extra swallows to get them down into her throat.

The elder dragoness lifted her head up to look Raidy in the eyes. "Please, stop now."

She shook her head, gulping hard, pulling the dragons deeper into her muzzle. Soon only the tip of the dragon's tail and the dragoness's head were outside of her jaw. Reaching up she placed one hand on the top of the dragoness's muzzle and pressed hard as she slid into her mouth.

With a few more large gulps the elders vanished down her throat, the combined bulge sliding down the length of it to settle into her full belly. She moaned happily and rubbed at her belly, realizing that her feet were off the ground. She could rock her body on her round belly, swaying from side to side as it gurgled happily.

A smile crossed over Raidy's lips. She had eaten them all! Ever member of her clan had vanished down into her belly. Not one escaped her hunger... a hunger which was gone. For the first time in her life she was full, she was pleasantly, happily, full.

Closing her eyes she relaxed onto her belly, feeling the belly starting to work at her meal, the pleasant feel of the digestion allowing her to slip into a deep sleep, content with knowing two things: She knew how to quiet her hunger, and that there were rumors of other dragon clans in the world...
