the pianists journey
I wrote this while listning to a song by a particular music artist I enjoy on newgrounds known as halcyonicfalconX, the song is the same name, so its easy to find, in fact.... heres a link to the song, http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/210913 please, give it a listen while ya read, try and see it as I do, and comment, please, I wanna hear others thoughts on this one
"so all I have to do is sign and you get to do....what?" "I'll remix your song and make us both famous." she ponders this for a moment, she was a night clup pianist, how could she become famous with a simple tune like that? but something in the back of her mind urged her to sign, so she did, and within mere months, her tune was climbing the charts with wildfire, her piano work, his remix of the beat working with it, she worked with him non-stop to help make it better, leading to shows, her life became a blur of traveling from show to show, until they finaly land the big performance, the lights, the crowds, she was on the center stage, playing the tune she wrote some time back before she worked at that club, her mind focused on the music, using the claps of the crowd like some strange metronome, the DJ standing off to the side with his mixing station, weaving techno around ehr beat, the crowd is enthralled as she plays on, then, after the big show, the crowds begin dying away as the next big fad in music comes along, the DJ gets a big record deal and bids the pianist farewell when her contract ends, and she goes back to her simple club, playing the tune that made her famous, happy that for one moment, she was a star, and then, she went back to her old life, as if nothing ever happened
