I know this chapter seems a bit odd, what with the lack of suspicion and stuff, but hey! Unicorns are friendly people!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^66

High up in the mountains lay a hidden valley. Nestled inbetween two gigantic peaks, it was surrounded on all sides by large rock walls. The climate in the valley was strange. It was always warm and balmy, like a constant summer evening. Soft grasses grew along the floor and a large forest of tall redwoods, birches, elms, oaks and many other straight trunked trees. Right at the center of this forest was a perfectly circular copse of ancient Redwoods. Each trees trunk was almost a hundred meters round, and perfectly straight. Built amongst these ancient and gigantic trees was a quiet settlement. Houses and staircases filled the trees, strong rope bridges linked trees and houses together. Down on the ground where shops and forges made from pale birch wood. Each small bulding was so elegantly carved and smooth, it seemed as if these places had grown from the ground itself. This place was the place the Unicorns lived.

The Unicorns were widely believed to be an extinct race, having all dissapeared thousands of years ago. In truth, they simply retreated to this valley, where they live in peace. It wasn't just the Anthropomorphic Unicorns though. The non anthro Unicorns and the pegasi also lived here. In the village there was a boy of seventeen years. He was a human and had come to the valley when his parents caravan was caught in an avalanche. He was ten when he was discovered by the Unicorns and spent the next seven years living in the village. The magic from the celestial Unicorns and Pegasi slowly changed his body. His skin became a soft golden tan, his hair becoming a silvery white. His body became tall and slender and strange golden markings appeared on his skin. A long Unicorn like tail grew from his spine, coated with soft white fur with a silvery tuft at the end. His eyes became soft and silvery to match his hair. His ears became pointed and elflike and his face slender. He was dubbed as the the boy that was "blessed by the celestials". The golden markings around his face took on a zig zag quality and formed a mask like pattern around his eyes.

He also gained strange powers from this blessing. He could sense danger, and new when a person was in trouble. He also had healing abilities and aided the village healers greatly. At the moment however, he was asleep. He lay in his soft bed with silken sheets, his long silver hair slightly covering his beautiful tanned face. He wore a loose white robe of cotton. His eyes snapped open and he sat up, sweat beading on his forehead.

"Llewelyn!" He called

There was the sound of foot steps outside his room and a baby blue Unicorn appeared.

"What is it Cadfael?" Llewelyn asked

"Some...some one is on the mountain! There is a blizzard...and..and...I can't tell, but I think they're in trouble!"

"I will assemble a search party right away." Llewelyn said

"Be careful, it is trecherous beyond the valley this night...and this persons aura is...different."

*

Arzhi struggled against the blizzard. It had come down so suddenly they had completely lost their way. He and Tochi had been following a path that seemed to stay relativly low, and did not head up into the mountains. The wind had picked up steadily and soon snow was being carried down from the mountain. It quickly whipped into a blizzard and soon Arzhi and Tochi had lost their way. Arzhi suspected they had started heading up the mountain as the ground became covered in a deep layer of snow very quickly.

"Tochi!! How're you doing back there?!" he called using the mind link this time

"N-n-ot g-g-good...I..I can't..."

"Tochi!"

Arzhi turned and saw the large form of his friend drop to the ground

"TOCHIII!!!"

Arzhi ran to his friend and knelt down next to him

"Hold on Tochi! Please hold on!" Arzhi cried, lifting the large body of his companion onto his shoulders.

He forged ahead, his supernatural strength taxed to the limit carrying Tochi and fighting the blizzard. He went on for another hour or so, and then, as suddenly as it had begun the blizzard was over. Arzhi blinked and looked around. He was higher than he had thought, a vast plane of snow stretched out before him, twinkling in the moonlight. He realised then that he was very very wet, and very very cold. Suddenly his legs couldn't support him and Tochi's weight and he collapsed.

He struggled out from under his reptillian friend and staggered through the snow. He looked around, trying to find shelter. His fingers were going numb and his feet had lost all feeling.

"HO THERE!!!"

Arzhi looked around and saw several dark figures moving against the snow. They looked like they were hunched and furred, but as they drew closer, Arzhi saw they were bundled up in large furs and cloaks. One of them was waving at Arzhi. Arzhi tried to wave back but found he could barely raise his arm. As the fugures approched he saw they were all Equines of sorts, with different coloured fur. As they came up to Arzhi, he saw that some of them had a single golden horn groeing elegantly from their foreheads. Others had large white wings.

"Guh...kkk...hlllpp..." Arzhi stuttered through numb lips as a heavy blanket was wrapped around him.

"Don't try to speak...we shall deal with your mount."

As the strange equoids dealt with Tochi, Arzhi looked up at the mountains. He was too cold to care about what was going on. He just felt tired. He felt hands grip his shoulders.

"Lets get going." A voice said.

As Arzhi took a step forewards, a loud crack made him look up. It seemed that the top of the mountain was moving.

"Mntin...tops...dun...mve..." he mumbled

"It's an avalanche! Move Move Move!" A voice shouted

"Mve?..Ava...Avalanche? Wait...EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" Arzhi shouted, power suddenly blazing around him.

The snow melted and steamed around his feet as the shimmering aura of power grew about him. His eyes became totally black, his pupils burning red. The Equines threw themselves flat on the now muddy ground. The sheer amount of power was opressive. Being celestial beings, unicorns and pegasi were more naturally attuned to magic than most, but this was something else. It felt like a hot wire being raked across exsposed nerve endings. As the tidal wave of snow barrled towards them, black fire tinged with a red corona burst into exsistence in Arzhi's hands. The balls of dark fire grew in size until they were each as big as he was.

Arzhi felt a hot searing pain against his chest. The amulet was melting onto his skin, the white hot metal melding into his flesh. Once it was gone, a jagged crimson spiral appeared where it had once been.

"I won't die on some gods forsaken mountain!" He snarled, the blanket whipping away from him.

His hair streamed in the magically created wind. The Avalanche came ever closer, billions of tons of snow, threatening to crush them all. Arzhi let out a roar and brought his hands back, gathering more energy before letting fly.

The jets of dark fire smashed into the avalanche. A massive plume of steam exsploded from the boiling and evaporating snow. The jets of flame cut a triangular shape out of the avalanche, shilding Arzhi and his rescuers from the thundering snow which continued to move on either side of them. Arzhi snarled and pusjed harder, his magic slicing through the snow until the avalanche had passed. As soon as the avalanche had gone, the flow of magic stopped. Arzhi dropped to his knees. He was unconcious before his head hit the floor.

*

Cadfael sat in his room, hugging his knees. Earlier he had felt a surge of power that made all the trees in the wood rustle their leaves. He wondered what could have caused it.

"Cadfael! The search party has returned! They found the people lost on the mountain!" A voice called

Cadfael jumped off his bed and hurried out into the balmy night air. He looked over his balcony and saw, far below, the search party removing their heavy cloaks. He took a hold of a rope attached to a pully and jumped off the balcony. A counter weight rose up as Cadfael went down. He was soon standing on the soft mossy ground. He walked over to the search party

"Llewelyn! Are they alive?" he said when he reached the group

"Yes, but both are suffering from bad hypothermia."

Cadfael looked down at the two people. One looked about his age, but with white skin and metallic purple hair. He had a strange red spiral on his chest too. The other must have been his mount. A large Saurian with no saddle.

"Take the human to my room and put the Saurian in the stables, we will take care of them there." He said

After the two travellers had been taken care of, Cadfael sat in his room. The odd human lay in his bed, his eyes closed. From what Llewelyn had told him, this human had evaporated an avalanche. Cadfael turned his attention back to the humans clothing and equipment. There was a short bow and a sword. Both were enchanted, he could tell. The clothing was different though. It was made out of leather and armoured in places. A bag of jewls and gold had fallen out of the chest plate when they removed it. There was also a large bloodstain on the humans shirt.

"Who are you?" Cadfael muttered to himself, turning the sword over and over in his hands.

It was of peerless craftmanship, and very, very sharp. It was also perfectly balanced. The bow too, was crafted of a wood Cadfael had never seen before, and the draw was ridiculous. One of the search party had just about managed to string it, but could not pull it back, not even with all the bow techniques he knew. It was a wonder how the slender boy could use such a weapon.

Cadfael rubbed his eyes. When the human woke up, he would provide some (probably) valuable answers.

The next day found Cadfael asleep on the lounger he had been sitting on the night before. Summery sunlight filtered in through the doorless entrance and elegant windows. The sound of birds singing woke Cadfael. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, looking blearily towards his bed. Which was empty. Swinging his legs off the lounger, Cadfael padded over to his balcony and saw the back of the purple haired boy. His long purple hair hung down to the middle of his back, and his white skin seemed to glow in the sunlight.

"You know...I'd ask where I am, but that'd sound a little ungrateful." The boy said without turning his head "So instead I'll just thank you for rescuing me and Tochi." He continued.

"Tochi?" Cadfael queried

"Tochinoki, my saurian." The boy answered. Then he turned.

He was dressed in a light blue robe, tied at the waist with a golden cord. Cadfael almost took a step back. It wasn't just the white skin or the purple hair. Red spiral like tattoos now spread over one half of his white skin. They all seemed to originate from the red spiral on his chest. One of the most disturbing fetures was the form they took on his face. On the side they covered, they took the form of a skull like mask...an incredably elegant skull, but a skull none the less. But the truly worrying thing about him was his eyes. They were black. The whites of his eyes were black, The irises were bright crimson, and the pupils were black. It gave him a gaze like a red hot drill.

"They say the eyes are the windows to the soul..." Cadfael thought "...If so, then what do his mean?"

"My name is Cadfael." He said aloud extending a hand

the other human looked at it with a bit of confusion.

"You're supposed to shake it." Cadfael said

"Oh...well...I havn't really been in this world long." The human said, rubbing the back of his head "But my name's Arzhi." Arzhi said and shook Cadfaels hand

"What do you mean you havn't been in this world long?" Cadfael asked

"Well...uhmm...I'm not sure I can tell you that..." Arzhi said a little nervously "I have no idea how you'd react if I told you."

"It's that bad?"

"Ah! N-no! I just don't know what your reaction would be."

"Try me." Cadfael said, crossing his arms. He had never felt so confrontational before, but something about this person felt so...so...familiar. He had to find out more

"Weellll...Apparently I'm one of the...the...Demonblessed."

Cadfael nearly ran for Arzhi's sword. A Demonblessed! What the hell was the search party thinking!? But then again...he had saved the search party...and he hadn't tried to attack anyone or destroy anything yet. He also felt different. His aura wasn't that of one of the demon blessed, whose aura were dark and evil. His aura was oddly bright and innocent...but Cadfael could sense something inside Arzhi that shook him to the core. In these few minutes of conversation he had sensed a strange power inside this human...it was something that made Cadfael scared...though he knew not why.

"Interesting..." he said "You are one of the demon blessed and yet you have not tried any acts of evil."

"Was I supposed to?" Arzhi asked, and then gave cadfael an almost insultingly quizzical look.

"Your about my age...and yet you sound so...so...old...and here we are standing here talking like friends! I don't know who you are! I don't know where this is. For all I know you could be planning on killing me at any second!"

"Your doubts are well justifide...if you want, I'll take you to your Saurian."

*

Cadfael led the way into the stable and towards the stall where Tochi was being taken care of. There was a female Pegasus knelt beside Tochi, she seemed small against the reptiles large bulk.

"Tochi!" Arzhi cried and pushed past Cadfael. He rushed past the female equine and skidded to a halt next to his friend

"Tochi? Tochi? Can you hear me?" he asked

"Mrrrff...Arzhi? Izzat you?" the reptile said sleepily

Arzhi wiped a tear from his cheek and hugged the lizard.

"Did I just miss something?" The Ppegasus said, standing up and going over to Cadfael

"I have no idea...it sounds like thy're talking...but in what language I have no idea."

Arzhi looked up at the two of them and smiled

"Tochi would like to thank you for rescuing us." He said

"Well...it's...a pleasure." The pegasus said, before bowing and leaving.

Once she had gone, Cadfael came into the stall and sat down cross legged

"I feel I should apologise." He said

"Whatever for?" Arzhi replied, looking perplexed

"Well...I've been very formal and stuff...I'm not really used to it. I'm only seventeen summers for gods sake! It's just that...you need to be formal with strangers."

"Well...I suppose...apology accepted?...but it's not really that big a deal...although I did have some questions."

"Go ahead and ask."

"Where the hell are we?!"

A little while later, Cadfael and Arzhi where sat around a small table in white wicker chairs. There was a silver pitcher of some sort of tea on the table and an assortment of sweet buns.

"...So all the unicorns and pegasi decided to make this place their home. It's naturally high in magic and has all the natural amenities we could possibly need." Cadfael was saying while Arzhi stuffed himself (politely) with the food and drink.

"Ah shee..." Arzhi mumbled through a mouthful of bun. Tochi had decided to sleep in the stable until he didn't feel so tired (Arzhi had complained that he always slept "until he didn't feel tired").

"So...You are a human that got magically changed by the magic of this place?" Arzhi said

"Yes."

"And you make a habit of rescuing people stuck on the mountain?"

"Yes."

"And do you also make a habit of putting sedatives in peoples tea?"

"What?!"

Arzhi grinned

"Just kidding."

"I've only known you for about two hours and I already find you tireing. What do your parents think?"

"Well...my mother usually hugs me at this point and my...my..." Arzhi trailed off his face suddenly became withdrawn and sad

"Whats the matter?" Cadfael asked, leaning forwards

"I'm looking for them you know." Arzhi said, his voice breaking "My mother and my mate...I'm looking but I don't know where...I don't know this world...I..c..can't..." Then he broke down.

Tears streamed down his face, and he sobbed loudly. Cadfael felt suprisingly uncomfortable and awkward.

Then Arzhi launched into the whole story about his life with Yslien and Natasla and how they became seperated, the incidents in the town, the fight with the dragon, and finally getting caught in the blizzard.

All the while Cadfael just sat there with his mouth open, blushing at the more explicit parts. He'd never heard someone talk so openly about sex before. Even though the Unicorns were quite open about sexuality...they didn't go into this much detail. Arzhi barely looked phased.

"So your mother is the demonic godess of lust, love and pleasure?" Cadfael asked once Arzhi had finished

"Y-yes..."

"And you're mated to her daughter?"

"U...uh-huh."

"And you're being persued by the Evertus Venator or whatever?"

Arzhi nodded

"I think this is beyond me now..." Cadfael said "I think I'm going to have to take this to the Elders."

"So who exactly are the Elders?" Arzhi asked a while later

They were back in Cadfael's room. Arzhi was tying a sash around his waist to hold the rather fancy robe he had been given closed.

"They are the people who give out advice and handle any problems which might arise. You could say they run the place." Cadfael replied

"Now...it's not every day someone is granted an audience with the Elders. They are amongst the oldest beings on this planet and are considered the wisest. Now, I've informed them of you and told them your story. They have asked to meet with you. They will decide whether to help you, ask you to leave...or execute you."

"Execute me!?" Arzhi exclaimed "Why would they do that!?"

"Please understand, You may be different from other demonblessed but until we can acertain that...you must be treated like the rest. Now...it's time to go."

They headed out across a long bridge and made their way through the massive network of hanging bridges and suspended houses. Their destination was the huge Redwood right in the middle of the village. Nestled high in it's branches was where the Elders lived. It was a large building made from almost pure white wood. It was only accesable via a small lift, only large enough for one person.

"You must go up alone." Cadfael said

"You know whats funny?" Arzhi said, stepping into the lift

"What?"

"The fact I've been here less than a day and we're talking like good friends...and the way the current events are moving so quickly..."

"Time moves strangely here...That, and we're very friendly people." Cadfael said with a shrug as the lift began to rise

"Good luck!" he called "And remember, be polite!"

*

As the lift rose, Arzhi thought about the events that had transpired. It ws certainly very odd that, from the point of the avalanche to this odd lift ride, how accepted he had been. He was scared by his own appearance, it was suprising no one elese was. Even the small children he had seen didn't look afriad when they had seen him. Cadfael had taken him on a tour around the treetop city, and then the more industrial district at ground level. He also wondered about the almost instantaneous friendship he seemed to have struck up with Cadfael. He had known him less than a day and he felt as if they had known each other for years. Maybe it was because Cadfael was so similar to Arzhi...although a different up-bringing. Kinda. The lift came to a halt and Arzhi opened the door to the lift, stepping out onto the white platform.

The wood seemed to be glowing strangely too. Everything seemed a little more surreal up here than it did lower down. A small white door stood directly in front of him, so he walked over to it and reached for the handle. As he did so, the door clicked and swung open. Blinking, Arzhi stepped over the threshold and into the Elders abode. It wasn't quite what he'd been expecting. Instead of the large circular room, plunged into darkness with only a narrow shaft of light in the center, it was a reasonably spacious room with a couple arm chairs and a small coffee table.

"Ah...I've been expecting you."

Arzhi turned at the sound of the voice, and saw a non-anthro unicorn. It's head was around the same level as Arzhi's, so it was more the size of a pony than a large stallion.

"Are you the Elder?"

"Why yes, yes I am." The small unicorn said, it's soft white fur glittering in the light.

It was clearly male, with a soft, mellow voice. It's mane was the same colour as it's body fur, and he had the typical unicorns tail. It was the horn that stood out the most. It was long, straight, and dark blue. It was also completely smooth. Most unicorns had spiralled horns that twisted and turned. But this one was smooth and straight.

"I thought there would be more than just you." Arzhi said

The unicorn let out a soft laugh that made Arzhi feel oddly weak at the knees.

"Even unicorns die at some point...except for me. I am totally immortal. The other members of the council died quite a number of years ago."

"Must get lonely." Arzhi said

"Occasionally."

The uncorn clopped softly accross the floor to Arzhi and nudged him towards one of the chairs. Arzhi seated himself, and the old Unicorn lay himself down on a large lounger.

"My name is..."

"Caradec the ever young." Arzhi completed "I have read about you in mothers library."

"Ahh yes...Lovely Yslien...She always did keep exstensive records about us 'higher beings'."

Arzhi nodded and smiled

"Does it not suprise you that I know of her?" Caradec asked

"Not really...I remember mother metioning you a couple of times."

"Well...I should feel flattered that she remembers me...it has been such a long time sinse we have seen each other."

"Does that mean..."

"I shall help you yes...I will aid you as much as I can...especially because you are the son one of my oldest friends. But, I will require something from you."

"I can probably guess what that is." Arzhi said, standing up and un tying his sash.

He let the robe fall slowly from his shoulders, revealing his naked form underneath. His red tattoos shone in the sunlight, the strange thorny vine like patterns that covered half his body seemed to rustle in the gentle breeze that blew through the room. His white skin gleamed with health, and Caradec shifted slightly on his lounger

"How did..."

"I am the son of a pleasure demoness, I was raised as a sex slave...I do not mind if you wish to mate with me...it would be an honour in fact."

"You are truely your mothers son." Caradec said "Follow me."

The unicorn got off the lounger and made his way to a side door.

Arzhi followed him through and saw a bed chamber. The bed itself was basically one huge cushion. Arzhi could also see Caradec's long, mottled pink and black penis rubbing agains his belly. Arzhi climbed onto the bed after Caradec and lay down on his back. The unicorn lay gently ontop of him, wriggling himself inbetween Arzhi's legs. Arzhi gave a soft moan as his legs were parted nand the unicorns downy fur rubbed against his inner thighs and rapidly hardening penis. Arzhi wrapped his arms around the unicorns neck and kissed him tenderly on the muzzle. Caradec whinnied softly in Arzhi's ear and nuzzled his neck. Arzhi could feel the unicorns long hard member rubbing against his belly, so he lifted his legs and wrapped them around Caradec's waist. The unicorn's penis pressed against Arzhi's tight entrance, causing the human to moan with anticipation. Caradec continued to nuzzle Arzhi's neck, licking and nibbleing at it. Arzhi rolled his head to one side and groaned with delight. Caradec's penis was oozing a steady stream of pre, which was doing a good job of lubing Arzhi's sphincture.

"Are you ready for me?" Caradec asked

"Y-yes..." Arzhi gasped, shivering with a mix of anticipation and pleasure.

Caradec slowly moved his hips forwards, allowing his long member to slide inside Arzhi. There was a few moments of resistance, but once Arzhi relaxed, the long unicorn meat slid inside without any friction. Arzhi gripped Caradec's mane tightly and moaned loudly as he was penetrated so tantilisingly slowly. He arched his back against Caradec's soft belly. He could feel every single inch of Caradec's member as it slid inside. Suddenly he felt the unicorns smooth soft balls come to a rest against his rump, as the equine fully hilted himself in Arzhis hot insides.

A small stream of the equines pre oozed out of Arzhi's stretched and filled hole as Caradec pulled slowly out. Once the tip of his head was the only thing left inside Arzhi, Caradec pushed back slowly. Arzhi writhing under him.

"Mmmmph...i-its been...ah!...far too long..." Caradec moaned as he pulled out again

Arzhi arched his body and writhed, he never knew being taken like this could feel so wonderful. He could also feel massive surges of pleasure whenever Caradec pushed back in. It was like his penis was rubbing over some sort of pleasure node. Arzhi didn't know what it was, but he could feel his climax building.

Caradec continued to move gently in and out of Arzhi, nibbleing his ears and nuzzleing his neck and shoulders. Arzhi could feel his anal muscles clenching around the unicorns member, causing Caradec to moan and whicker with delight. The old equine had been so long without a release, he could feel himself coming to his climax. He would have loved to spend longer taking this young human, but his body demanded release.

"Nnnngg...I'm goin...going to..." He gasped

Arzhi just moaned and arched his back even more, he could feel himself desperatly close to orgasm. Just as he moaned loudly, Caradec gave a loud whinny and thrust his hips forewards. His cock buried itself deep in Arzhi, and the humans insides where flooded with hot unicorn seed. The heat of the semen against his prostate made Arzhi's body spasm, his own orgasm hitting. His penis throbbed and his cum splattered accross his belly, and was rubbed into Caradec's fur. His penis was sandwiched between his own, and Caradec's twitching bodies. Everythime Caradec spasmed or twitched, another shot of cum squirted into Arzhi's warm insides.

Unicorn semen oozed out of Arzhi's hole and onto the bed, his penis buried in Caradecs soft fur that was matted by Arzhi's cum. Caradec relaxed on top of the panting human, and nuzzled his lovers neck.

"That was wonderful..." Caradec sighed

Arzhi kissed the unicorn on the muzzle and hugged him tightly. He felt oddly full and, as Caradec pulled slowly out and rolled over, could feel the thick cum filling him up. Caradec lay on his side, breathing heavily. Cum oozed out of his entrance and ran in a thick and slow river down his legs. He reached round and sank his fingers in is stretched ass, bringing them out covered with the thick seed. Arzhi licked it off his fingers. Caradec watched with interest as Arzhi crawled closer to him and took tha equines now flaccid cock in his hands. Arzhi gave the Unicorns penis a long, luxurious lick, cleaning it of the come the coated it in a thick, sticky layer. Once he finished, he looked up at Caradec with a smile.

"I've never been taken like that before." He said

"Wonderful isn't it?" Caradec said as Arzhi snuggled up to his white body, cum still leaking out his his bum.

"I think...I want to stay here for the night." He said as he rested his head on Caradec's soft belly

"I think I'd like that."

*

The next day, Cadfael awoke with a start. He could hear someone outside on the balcony. Sliding out of bed he went to the balcony entrance and saw Arzhi. He wasn't standing on the balcony though. He was standing on one of the thin branches that extended from under it.

"Arzhi!?" Cadfael exclaimed

Arzhi jerked suddenly and wobbled, falling backwards onto the balcony with a thud.

"What were you doing!"

"Training."

"Training! For what!?"

"Well...I'll tell you. It seems that some of the Elders knew my mother. They new that she wasn't evil and offered to help me. They gave me this scroll to help me train. They also said I had to train in order to find her."

"Train? What do you mean?"

"Well...I've been in this world for about a week. I do not know how to fight, and I do not know how to control magic. The Elders said that they would give instructions for the sword master and the magic users to give me lessons."

"But we are a peaceful race! We don't teach how to fight! Only to defend ourselves."

"Same difference." Arzhi said with a shrug

"No its...well...no!..well...I suppose."

Arzhi sighed and stood up.

"I know you do not trust me yet, none of the villagers do. Look at me...I wouldn't trust me!"

"Even so...This is all rather sudden. I don't know what to say. You are right though, I do not trust you...but the Elders do...and...we are so alike, you and I....although you look like a girl."

Instead of the indignant reply Cadfael was expecting, Arzhi blushed and giggled.

"T-that guy...Llewelyn...he said he thought I was a girl up until I spoke, and then told him I was a boy."

"Why do you look like a female so much though?"

"I don't know...I just do...I also hope this training doesn't ruin my looks...I...kinda...like looking like this..." Arzhi said and blushed even harder.

Cadfael felt incredably awkward at this point. He hadn't realised how feminine Arzhi was until now.

"So uhh...where will you be staying?" He asked, hurredly changing the subject.

"Tochi and I will be staying down on the ground...I don't think I could get used to sleeping up here in one of these houses. Apparently accomodation is being built at the moment...oo..that reminds me, I need to check on Tochi."

With that, Arzhi turned towards the edge of the balcony, jumped onto the railing, and dissapeared from veiw. Cadfael rushed to the edge and looked down. He saw the top of Arzhi's head at the bottom of the tree...he was walking away.

"How did he...?" he gasped

"Apparently he's not a normal human."

Cadfael turned and saw Llewelyn leaning against the door frame.

"Theres no need to be sarcastic." Cadfael retorted

"Yes there is. Look...I can tell you don't really like him, thats probably because he is so similar to you."

"Feh...I can't jump out of trees and not injure myself."

"Thats as maybe." Llwelyn came into the room and up to Cadfael "But he has a different power to yours. The Demonblessed are known for their destructive magic, incredable strength, endurance and toughness. You are a much rarer case. There are not many blessed by the celestials, but you are one of the few that are. Your powers are different, you can heal, see peoples auras, feel the presence of others."

Cadfael hugged his chest and looked down

"I know...but...his circumstances..." Cadfael said

Llewelyn came over to him and lifted the humans chin so that he could gaze into those silver eyes

"Are very similar to yours. I remember when we first found you. I offered to take you in and teach you of our ways. You learnt them well and I am proud. But you must understand. He needs someone who shares a similar gift to him. He cannot do this on his own...surely you know that?"

Cadfael leaned gently into Llewelyn and hugged him tightly

"I know...I know...I will try to help him as much as I can."

"Thats my boy...now, shall I helo you with this?"

Cadfael blushed when Llewelyn gently squeezed the humans erect member.

"M-mm...yes please..."

Meanwhile, far below, Arzhi was standing in the house that had been specially built for him and Tochi. Tochi had insisted that they sleep together, so a special, large bed had been made. The house was reasonably small and totally open planned. There was a firepit in the center of the room, with a chimney extending down above it. There were several cupboards and a wardrobe. The bed was the dominating feature, however. It was large, padded, and oval in shape. Why it was oval, Arzhi couldn't fathom, but Tochi seemed to like it, so that was that. Tochi was currently lying on said bed, with a very smug look on his face.

"I like this house." he said

"You like anything with a big bed...why did they have to do everything in pine?"

"You sound like mistress."

"Which one?"

"Both."

Arzhi sighed, they had also made a special rack for his sword and bow, which now had both weapons resting on it. It was suprising how fast they had built the house though. It was dome shaped like all the others, and had round windows. The exterior was a smooth white wood, and it had no door. Just a heavy curtain.

"I'm going to do some Archery practice. I havn't used that bow yet."

"Ooooh! Ooooh! I wanna come!"

"I knew it...just don't scare them, okay?"

"Promise!"

They walked through the wood, towards the open clearing where the Archery butts were. There were few Unicorns there practicing with their powerful Longbows. They looked over when Arzhi appeared with his quiver and bow slung over his shoulder. He wore large baggy pants that made him look like he was in a dress, and a wide sleeved robe. Almost exactly like some people called "Samurai" that Arzhi had read about in one of Ysliens books. All the inhabitants of the village wore similar variants, all in different colours. It was made out of a material that changed colour depending on the wearers aura. Arzhi's had changed to black, with red flower and vine patterns on them. One of the Unicorns in blue came over to him

"Greetings, Might you be Arzhi?" she asked

"Yes, can I help you?"

"I am The Archery master Vivey. I believe I was to start teaching you tomorrow."

"Ah!...uhmm...well...I was kinda hoping to get some practice...I haven't actually fired a bow before."

"I see...may I see your bow?"

Arzhi nodded and handed the compound bow to her. She weighed it in her hands for a moment, before bringing it up and trying to draw the string. Nothing happened. Vivey frowned before trying again. The string moved an infantesimal amount.

"How do you plan on using a bow that has such a powerful draw you cannot draw it?" She asked, handing the bow back.

"Uhmmm...like this..." Arzhi said and pulled the string back.

Vivey gaped for a moment before shaking her head.

"Okay...never mind about that...lets see if you have any natural talent."

Arzhi nodded and pulled an arrow from his quiver. The elegant arrowhead glinted in the sunlight, the red wood of the shaft looked oddly like blood. Arzhi only knew how to draw a bow from the book with the Samurai in it, so he thought he'd better do it like that. The book had given fairly detailed instructions, which Arzhi had memorised.

He planted his feet firmly, just over a shoulder width apart. He nockedthe arrow and raised the bow above his head. Vivey and the other archers watched with interest. They had not seen a bow drawn in such a fashion before. As soon as the bow was raised, it began to glow. This glow covered the bow and it suddenly grew, becoming almost two meters in length. It was now long and curved in an almost flat "W" shape. The grip where Arzhi held was not in the middle of the bow anymore, but only two feet from the bottom, four feet of the bow extended up.

"Shooting from the bottom of the string?" Vivey mused.

Arzhi lowered his arms, and as he did so, opened them. He kept on opening his arms until the bow was leveled at the target, and the bow string was behind his ear. All the unicorns were now engrossed in watching the boy. His bow was clearly magical. Arzhi suddenly released the arrow.

It shot from the bow with a loud whine and streaked towards the target. There was a loud tearing sound and the Unicorns gaped. The arrow had gon off target and hit the edge of the target. But it wasn't where it should be. There was a perfectly smooth crescent cut into the edge of the target, almost ten times the width of the arrow. The arrow itself was quivering in a tree some three hundred meters away. It had only stopped after passing through two more trees and setting a bush on fire. Once the bush had been put out and the arrow retrieved, Vivey turned looked at Arzhi.

"What in the world is that bow!" she exclaimed

"Well...I think it adapts to the bow specifically designed for the style of shooting. That style I used I found in a book. I think the bow is called a Yumi."

"That doesn't explain the power! No bow should be able to do that!...unless...Arzhi? How strong are you?"

"Uhmmm..."

"Nevermind...I think this bow is supposed to only be used by ones with supernatural strength."

"Well Arzhi...I look forewards to training with you."
