Demon sat with Angel under an apple tree near the fair grounds, she looks at her as the wind blows gently. "Angel?" "Yeah?" "I'm glad I have you with me for if you weren't I would be lost" Angel smiles as she hugs her. "Me too! Sis! Me too!" "DEMON! ANGEL!" "COMING!!!" the twin s yell back before heading out to the fair grounds. The twins run over to where the ring master was with the stars of the show. Demon has Angel stand back as she approaches the ring master. "Yes?" "Go fetch me a pail of water and HURRY! Otherwise my star's dinner will burn." He says this as he flips the meat on the small grill. Demon nods as she waves to Angel who was waving to her as she ran by. Demon grabs a pail nearby before heading over to where the pump was to get water. As Demon gets her bucket filled she could hear the ring master shout in excitement about something. Demon shakes her head as she again just as a warm wet mosteir hits her feet. She feels it begin to cover her feet, she looks down to see it was water from the pump she was using. "OH NO!" Demon quickly turns off the water and carries the bucket to the star's camper. Once there, Demon sees Angel fall out of the trailer crying and runs behind her. Demon gets into defense position when the master came out. "YOU WANNA DIE OR WHAT? YOU LITTLE WRETCH!" "Steve? Something's wrong with Macy." A little fairy limps out of the trailer.
15 minutes later.....
Demon and angel were both sitting on their bed in the back as they both watched a long nail come out of Macy's foot. When the ring master saw this he was enraged. Angel shrank back as the master began to scream his head off. After losing his cool, the mistress told him that Demon could take Macy's place for the night. Demon's back stiffened when she heard this. Angel pats her on the back gently. "You'll do fine! I know you will!" Demon sighs as she prays to god that things will go well.
That night.....
"LADIES AND GENTLE MEN! I NOW PROUDLY GIVE YOU THE GREAT AND THE FAMOUS DEMON!!!!!" Demon felt fear grip her as she trembles in front of the audience. I think I'm going to piss myself she thought wearily. She walks up as her legs tremble on the stand. "AND NOW THE FEARLESS DEMON SHALL JUMP THROUGH THE FAMOUS RING OF FIRE!!!!" Demon really went pale when she saw the ring of fire that she was supposed to jump through. "JUMP!" Demon hears the ring master snap his whip as he yells for her to jump. Demon stood there as her fear took over reminding her of what had happened just a few years ago.
Flash back....
Demon cries out as fire ate up at the wooden house. Both she angel were still inside with a friend of theirs who they could hear, see or find anywhere. Demon quickly drags Angel out just as a larger legendz picks her and Angel up and takes them out of the burning home.
Hours later....
Demon lays a rose on her friend's memorial where she now lays at rest with a weeping Angel in her arms.
Flash back ends...
"JUMP!" Demon winces as she heard the whip snap, making her come back to reality. "JUMP! I SAID! NOW!" Demon stood there for a second before looking fearfully at Angel. Before the ring master whips his whip Demon ran out crying in shame as she ran out of the circus tent.
2 hours later.....
"DEMON! DEMON? DEMON! COME BACK PLEASE! WE WON'T MAKE YOUDO IT AGAIN! I PROMISE!" Demon hisses as she heard the mistress called her name. "I'm never going back! NEVER!" Demon growls as she closes her wings around her body as she sits in the tree. She soon slowly closes her eyes as the darkness covers her completely. "DEMON? DEMON!" Demon opens her eyes when she heard her name being called. "Angel? Angel is that you?" Demon mummers as she hears the beating of wings. She opens her wings to see a black figure standing there. "Who are you?" the figure smiles as they laugh quietly. "My name's Ranshiin! What's yours?" "Demon" "demon? Not a bad name for a wind dragon." Demon snorts as Ranshiin sits down in front of her. "You're a pain you know that?" "I know but I just wanted to tell you that I will see you very soon. So soon that" he tucks his claw under her chin. "You won't even see it coming" Demon stares into his eyes as he pulls her in for a long passionate kiss.
2 seconds later....
Demon jolts up awake from her Dream. She was in bed (their motel that was condemned because no one wanted it) with her sister Angel. "I woke up again....why is it that I have these dreams? Why?" Demon sighs as she gets out of bed to pour herself a glass of wine from the shelf. "maybe these dreams have something to do with Ranshiin....who ever that is....he is really cute though." Demon sits down in the lobby as she turns on a lamp. She then grabs a book and reads it until she gets sleepy again and falls asleep having the same dream again and again.
