Chapter Two

"Planning Stuff"

By

Furry Sith Lord

Ben and I sat in the limo silently as my father was busy planning how he was going to organize and how our marriage was going to be conducted. I think we were both thinking when it was described as trying our paws together that's all we really thought went into it. I figured I'd just take a string and someone ties our paws and it's over.

My father was telling just which hall he would rent out and he wanted lists of all our friends and family we'd have to invite. Who would be our Best Furs, not that we had a choice because my father thought I should pick Dash and Ben should pick Lyon.

Every time we tried to speak up he shot us down and silenced us. He mentioned he wanted our paw tying ceremony to be the best because his father wasn't able to attend and he did not want that to happen to us.

"Father!" I tried getting his attention but my calls were again ignored.

"Why aren't we in the jeep? I thought that was his favorite." Been asked me and I chuckled.

"Are you kittying me? He loves his jeep as much as his own cock." I said and blushed as I saw my father looking at me.

"Correction. I love my family first, then my jeep, and lastly my cock." He replied and I sunk lower in my seat hoping to hide. Ben was giggling but father was now ordering the driver to get to the mall faster.

"So why are we in the limo?" Been asked

"We're... going shopping and there is not enough room in the jeep." I replied.

"Why? I thought we were just getting engagement rings?"

" Are you mad? Haven't you been listening to him? He is going to buy everything to set up the hall and everything now in one fell swoop." I said and Ben was blushing now.

"But I'm 17 and you're 16. We can't get our paws tied yet." Been tried to counter.

"I know but it's not gonna stop him from planning things. It won't surprise me if everything he buys he throws out because in a few days he's changed his mind." I said.

"Father," It still seemed weird to hear Ben call him that but my father was gushing at Ben calling him by the correct title. "What about the humans?"

"I haven't forgotten them but I need a quick distraction while I sort the whole matter out." Lou said. Been and I fell silent again as we thought about the crisis the humans were creating. Father was busy changing his mind about how he wanted the wedding ceremony to proceed.

The mall was surprisingly empty as we walked inside and I guessed most species were afraid because of the news stories. Several places had been closed for the day so I doubted we'd be able to buy much. My father's temper was proving that he realized the same thing I did.

"Oh my paws, Am I gonna have to end the war in order to buy what I need for my son's wedding?" Lou muttered to himself. We did manage to find a jewelry store that was open but only one person was inside. He was pleased to see an actual customer show up and he was even happier that it was my father.

"May I help you?" He said cordially.

"Yes, my sons are engaged and they'd like to pick out engagement rings." Lou said as he could not hide his enjoyment. The clerk looked at us queerly and frowned and I suddenly realized that he was thinking we were actual brothers.

"We're from different families, we are not actually brothers even though we're the same species of white tiger." I said and the clerk shrugged and hurried off to bring a set of engagement rings to us.

Been was staring at the ring he was wearing that belonged to my dad. The golden band was faded slightly from age but it was engraved with a deer wrapped around the band. Ben stared at that as he rubbed the ring

"Here are a few of our engagement rings that are fashioned after tigers. Unless you are looking for white gold, I cannot give you actual white tigers on the bands." The clerk said politely.

Ben pulled my father aside and whispered to him I leaned in to listen.

"Father, I have a huge favor to ask. I know it will be expensive but I promise to pay off every bit of it." Ben was saying.

"Go on." Lou said as he seemed intrigued by what Ben was going to ask.

"I would like my ring to be engraved with a deer, wolf, tiger, and lion. I know it's supposed to be fashioned after Tyger but I would like my ring to reflect the love I have for the whole family. I promise to pay every cent back but I realize it will be expensive." Ben said as he looked at his feet.

"I think that's beautiful." Lou replied.

"Father, may I get the same thing? I want to carry reminders of everyone and how you became my family when my own no longer wanted me." I replied and I took Ben's paw in my own. My father was on the verge of tears.

"You may but there is one condition before I agree to order those." He said and we nodded as we waited to see what his condition was. "We must add a rabbit to the group because Dash is family as well." Lou said and I jumped and hugged him. Ben slid in and hugged the two of us.

"You're absolutely right! There is no way we could leave out Dash." Ben replied softly and I was nodding in agreement.

"Then it's settled." Lou said and he turned to the clerk and set about ordering our wedding rings. Been's eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw the cost for his ring. After the shopping trip was over father took us for a bite to eat at McAlphas. I noticed Been looking at a 'Help Wanted' sign and had to remind him he agreed to work for the family business and another job would be difficult for him.

I could understand that he wanted to pay for his ring but honestly my family could care less as long as he's happy. I decided to add a little elbow grease myself to help pay for my ring so that my fiance isn't doing it alone. I would discuss the matter later with my father when we get the chance.

BH walked with a couple of bodyguards as he examined the tunnel the pets were building. He saw their dirty bodies in only their fur as they used tools to dig. The mud covering them made him cringe at how unkempt they were but simple minded pets could not be afforded the luxuries that they humans were given.

The only good thing was that the smell was not as nauseating as he thought it would be. It seems the guards had hosed down the pets before BH's arrival.

"Are you pleased, my lord?" Rowlf asked as he led the mining operation. He bowed himself slightly so that he could not see eye to eye with BH. The humans found that sort of behavior to be disrespectful. BH was fine but he had come to rely on Rowlf that he hated to see him prostrate himself. He liked the attention the humans gave him but it also prevented him from getting close to them.

"You've done a remarkable job. I am very pleased. BH said. Rowlf began to bow himself lower. "What about the second project I gave you to work on?" BH asked as he lowered his voice.

"Oh, the secret secret escape tunnel that's being built just for you. It will be completed at the exact same time as this one is. Dabid is leading that operation and the pets have been fitted with blindfolds so even if they escape they cannot reveal anything about it. We even have a special entrance rigged up.

Once you enter inside it you pull a rope and the outside entrance will be buried by dirt and rocks. It will completely hide it so you can easily make your escape and no one will know where the hidden entrance was." Rowlf explained.

"They'd never be able to catch me then." BH thought to himself. Rowlf seemed pleased to see BH smiling.

"You have done well, I am very pleased." BH said and Rowlf was blushing he was so happy.

"Thank you Reverend Lord." Rowlf replied.

"Are the pets treated well?" BH asked, not really caring but he just acted fake to try and fool the pets.

"Yes my lord, they are treated as if they were your children." Rowlf lied and BH heard one of the pets groan in displeasure. He turned to look at him and Rowlf quickly chimed in.

"Ignore that he's just working extremely hard in order to please you." BH smiled because Rowlf was good at covering so that he would not have to order the pet to be beaten. Not that BH cared if the pet was beaten, he actually preferred it, but he wanted them kept happy in order to complete the work. Until both passages were complete he was not going to make a move.

He was getting impatient and if the tasks were not completed soon then he was going to have to take action to 'encourage' the pets to work harder.

BH walked outside of the mine as Rowlf went back to supervising the pets. BH turned and saw that one of the humans, he forgets the name of that one but he never bothered to learn all their names. The human had a pet with him that looked to be a fox. The fox was busy squatting as it was moving his bowels on the street. The fox was sorely embarrassed that this was how he and the other species were being treated.

nce finished the fox was forced to use its paws to pick up the feces and drop it into the nearest trash container. It then cleaned its paws by wiping them in some dirt and letting the feces caked mud into the trash as well.

"Good boy." The human said to the pet and the fox was even more embarrassed . BH could care less and felt the fox was probably one that persecuted rare white fur species in the past and deserved to be embarrassed like this. BH believed he was getting what he deserved.

Lou drove his jeep on the highway as they made their way to The Diamond Community. Leggo was in the passenger seat with his head stuck out the side as the wind pressed against his face. His tongue hung out, like a dogs, as he enjoyed himself.

"Acting like a puppy," Lou grumbled under his breath as he kept glancing at Leggo. He always feared that his husband would hurt himself doing that.

"Come on!!!! We gotta go see Sanic!!!!" Leggo shouted as he pulled his head inside the jeep briefly to yell that he wanted tro go faster.

"So why are we visiting Sanic?" Tyger asked. He leaned forward from the back seat. Ben was sound asleep as he leaned against the window while wearing his seat belt. Lyon was angrily sitting with his arms folded across his chest as he sat with his seatbelt on.

Lyon was in a bad mood that Dash could not join them but his mother had other plans and they had to leave Dash. Lyon was sulking but not really mad at anyone in particular, he just did not liked not having his best friend around. He felt a bit conscientious that Tyger had his boyfriend and Lou had Leggo, his husband. He was feeling left out.

"Why else? To eat chicken nuggies at McAlphas! We haven't had a Tail Wagging Meal in a long time." Leggo said as he pulled his head back in and made the comment then stuck it back out the window again. Lou shook his head they yelled back the real answer to Tyger.

"Sanic is the only one that I know of that has had the most experience with BH. I'm hoping he can give me a few insights to see if we can peacefully resolve the whole matter. Or at least lead me in the right direction before I'm forced to do something rash. By the way, you had better have your seatbelt on." Lou said as Tyger smiled as he slid back and quickly put on his seatbelt. He was not in the mood to get grounded for being careless.

He saw Ben sleeping then noticed how upset his brother was. He leaned to the side and put his head on his brother's shoulder. He softly started talking about The Power Fur Rangers to try and cheer his brother up. It worked after he got his brother telling him about the latest episode he had not seen because of his coma.

Lou kept glancing in his rear view mirror to watch his boys as he silently listened to Lyon talk about his heroes. Tyger had reached an age where he outgrew them but his brother remained faithful to watching the show. Even Leggo watched with the boys so he could stay up to date on what was happening.

Tyger would join Lou when the sports came on so that Leggo and Lyon could watch in peace. Neither Lou nor Tyger cared about sports and left them to it. Ben was in between because he did not mind sports but if Tyger wanted some alone time he abandoned the games so that he and his boyfriend could snuggle in private.

Leggo began to pant loudly as we passed a sign that said we were entering The Diamond Community. We were approaching the hotel we normally stayed at and Ben jumped awake as Leggo howled when he saw Sanic waiting for us to arrive.

"Alarm clock by Leggo." I said to Ben as he was yawning and Tyger saw Lou give him a dirty look for not calling him his dad. Leggo on the other paw could care less because he was jumping out of the jeep to run over to his friend.

Sanic's expression as Leggo picked him up and spun him around was one of seasickness. It took him a second to get oriented but by this time Lou was busy slapping Leggo's arm and yelling at him.

"Stop acting like a puppy! You're gonna hurt him!" Lou was saying angrily.

"You're gonna hurt me!" Leggo yelped as he shrunk and tried to shield himself behind his arms as Lou was slapping them. Been rushed over to take Sanic before the little white hedgehog got dropped or squished by Leggo.

"Thanks," Sanic said as Been lowered him to the ground.

"Stop hitting me!" Leggo whined.

"Ooooooh dad's getting a spank." Lyon jeered and Lou smirked at the comment.

"I think I will punish you later." Lou remarked with a smirk and Leggo brightened up.

"you promise?" Leggo asked and Lou reached out to pet Leggo and scratched behind one of his ears. This made Leggo start stomping one foot in pleasure and Lyon innocently tried imitating his dad.

"Does he know what's going on?" Ben asked Tyger as he lowered his voice.

"Yeah, Father is pissed and gonna punish dad later on tonight." Tyger replied and Ben eyed him suspiciously.

"Wow, you too." Ben said and he rolled his eyes and walked away.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" Tyger asked with the touch of indignation in his voice at Ben calling him and his brother supposedly 'stupid.'

"Sanic, glad you could meet with us." Lou said politely. He looked over his shoulder to see Leggo peering out and waving at Sanic.

"You know you're always welcome here... Hi Leggo," Sanic said to get the wolf to stop waving at him. "You said this was important so how can I be of service?"

"I'm sure you are aware of BH and his followers causing trouble. I was hoping you might be able to help me find a way to stop him. I'm told you knew him very well." Lou said.

"He was a bully that's all I really know. Bear scared him and that was the only way to keep him in line. Bear had a way of breaking you so that you obeyed him rather than face more punishment." Sanic explained.

"That's what worries me. Bear is living his new persona as an actor. If I remove his collar then the old Bear will return. Not sure if we can force the old Bear back in the bottle if we let him out." Lou said.

"The same thing goes for Merric," Leggo said. "We can use him to get his old contacts but we may never be able to turn him back into Mel.

"We need to hurry because their food supply will be running out and that may force them to make a move. I believe that is what the army wants. They are hoping for a fight after getting dragged out there." Sanic said.

"I don't doubt that. BH is not stupid and he won't charge out and attack blindly. He'll have other plans, not brilliant ones, but his poorly thought out plans will spell trouble for all of us." Lou said.

What do we do? Flip a coin to see who we free and hope it doesn't turn into a nightmare?" Leggo asked.

"I'm hoping to save them as our aces in the hole if things get that far.." Lou said.

"More than likely he'll want to rebuild The White Citadel. Can we use The Diamond Community as bait to lure him out? Sanic asked.

"It's definitely a bargaining chip that he would be interested in. However, how can we get him out and here with the army watching?

"Offer an exchange. All the pets get released and he and his humans get total control of The Diamond Community." Sanic said.

"We may even be able to throw in Bear as a bonus," Leggo said and Sanic and Lou turned to look at him. "Bear, the new Bear is an actor right? So what if he was to 'act' like his old self without actually becoming his old self?" Leggo explained.

"It wouldn't take long for BH to realize he had been had." Lou said.

"Plus, suppose we give them the city and the fake Bear, then what?" Sanic asked. "Do you really think that they'll want to live in peace with everyone else?"

Ben pulled out his cell phone and started playing on it while I angrily stood there waiting for an answer.

"Well?!" I said irritably.

"Look, just give it a rest." He finally replied without actually looking at me.

"So you think my brother and me are stupid." I said. Ben let out a loud sigh and shook his head before answering.

"I think you guys are cute, in a nieve sort of way."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, how you guys don't know that a spank is not a spank, exactly, when it's between lovers."

"Wait... ooooooohhh. I get it.........eeeeeew yuck. I did not need that image in my head." I complained.

"Makes sense why you thought it was a regular spank, if it were me parents I wouldn't want that picture either." Ben replied.

"Ummm. Ben, they are your parents!" I replied and chuckled as I saw the look on his face.

"I need a shower now. I feel dirty." He replied and I grabbed him to stop him from walking away.

"Sure belly rubs and snuggles wouldn't make you feel better?" I said and he smiled at me.

"That might make me feel better. Do we get a room for ourselves or are we sharing with your brother?" Ben asked.

"I wish you'd realize that my family IS your family too and he's not my brother but OUR brother." I corrected.

"Oh really?! Well just out of curiosity, when are you gonna visit my side of OUR family?" Ben asked with a sinister look in his eyes.

"Actually I never thought about it before. You always said that they wanted nothing to do with you. If you want me to meet them then I'd love to. We are all family after all." I replied and Ben did a double take as if not expecting me to say that.

"Really?!"

"Yeah, why are you so surprised? Actually, since we are gonna get our paws tied, maybe both sides should meet to get to know each other." I added.

"They're horrible furs, you will probably have a terrible time." Ben said. and I turned to face him with my arms crossed.

"Are you asking me not to meet them?" I asked.

"No, of course not. I'd never do that. I just want to make sure you're prepared for what may happen."

"Ben... you've never lied to me before. So, why are you doing it now?" I asked suspiciously as I raised an eyebrow while looking at Ben. Ben, on the other paw, looked as if he was being scruffed in his mother's maw.

"Alright to be truthful. My parents want to meet you and probably want to know why we're dating when you're rich. They've treated me like shit my whole life so the thought that you have money means they want to get on your good side so they can get some of it.

I don't want to be a part of that but I'm too young to just cut them off completely. They will just act like your best friends then tell you of the terrible financial troubles they have. Real bleeding heart stories and imply that everything would be better if they only had a little extra cash laying around." Ben explained. I started to laugh hysterically and Ben stared at me wondering what I was up to.

"Father taught me about species like that and he has a sure fire way to teach them a lesson. If you explain this to him he'll jump at the chance to use it to torment them back. Trust me he lives for this kind of thing, it's like a hobby to him." I said after I finished laughing. Ben looked at me skeptically.

"Trust me, they'll never know what hit them.
