#57 of Hypnosis

After having done a fun Pokemon riff a while back, I wanted to do a Star Fox riff as well, as Fox/Wolf is one of my favorite pairings. I remembered reading somewhere that Star Wolf was mind-controlled by Andross using his artificial eye, but that may just be something I misremembered or was someone's speculation. Either way, it made a fun basis for this story.

Fox McCloud personal log

I can't believe I'm out here on my own. For two whole weeks!

I know, I know. It was my turn, but I'm getting so itchy being away from the Great Fox for so long. What if Andross attacks? What if Star Wolf comes out of hiding and stirs up trouble?

It's just a stupid survey mission. No, not even a survey mission, a pre-survey mission. The scanners and mappers haven't even been out this far yet. They'd show up in tiny ships with no defenses. Someone needs to make sure they aren't walking right into a deathtrap, someone with guns and a quick ship. And today that someone is me.

Peppy was out on this mission last time. He said it was relaxing, a chance to see new corners of the galaxy. We'll see.

* * *

"Tail's looking good there, pup."

Fox McCloud glanced up from his repair work on the landing gear and looked over his shoulder. Behind him, someone was idly running a hand over the ailerons of his Arwing, supposedly commenting on the ship, even though the person's eyes were trained on the vulpine's upturned rear. When Fox saw who the speaker was, he spun around, leveling his blaster at them.

"You know, most people like it when people compliment their... ship." The cocksure lupine who stood there leaned against the wing. It was Wolf O'Donnell, leader of Star Wolf, and self-styled arch-nemesis of Fox.

"Most people haven't spent most their lives trying to blow it up."

"Yeah." For once, in the entire time that Fox had known him, Wolf looked unsure. He rubbed at the edge of his eye patch as if the old scar there was bothering him. Then the moment passed and a smug grin reappeared. "Almost got it a few times too."

Fox glared and waved the blaster at him. He wouldn't fire and they both knew it, but he wanted to show he wouldn't be caught off guard. "What do you want?"

"Just to talk somewhere a bit more private, Cornerian to Cornerian." He gestured to the nearby ships in the docking bay, where a dozen pilots and mechanics were all able to listen in. "Maybe over a beer, if you think you're old enough for that."

Fox gritted his teeth. "Last time I saw you, you tried to kill me."

Wolf dusted the cuffs of the leather gauntlets he always wore. "Months ago. Ancient past, pup."

"Don't call me pup."

"Whatever you say, pup." The cocksure grin didn't waver. "I'll be at the bar on the fifth deck at twenty-hundred hours. See you then." He gave a careless wave over his shoulder and walked out.

Fox kept his blaster trained on him until the lupine was out of sight.

* * *

The space station Fox had found himself on for this solo mission was far on the reaches of civilized space. There was a barest semblance of law which meant that scoundrels like Wolf were perfectly safe. The local authority certainly weren't going to extradite him to Corneria or anything. But it also meant that they cracked down with an iron fist on anyone who broke their personal rules. Wolf wasn't likely to kill Fox here, or even attempt sabotage.

So Fox felt safe to actually go and meet him.

The fifth deck was actually the third level of a promenade. The bar had private booths hanging on the inner rim so diners could watch the throngs of people shopping below. Fox found Wolf at one of the booths. Even from a distance, Fox could tell he was nervous. He hunched back in his seat, a small presence, with his one good eye sweeping across the room, lingering on the entrances and exits and spots for a quick escape. He looked wary, hunted.

The look on his face made Fox's hand reach for his blaster, but his fingers passed through nothing but air. Weapons weren't allowed on the promenade, but old habits died hard. He wasn't armed. Nor was anyone else (save the station security). What did Wolf have to be nervous about?

Fox grimaced, stuffed his hands into the pockets of his flight jacket and headed towards him. He had to squeeze into the booth opposite the lupine.

Wolf's wary look disappeared momentarily and he grinned at the vulpine as he sat down. "Ordered you a spritzer," he said, while sipping on a very dark beer.

"Cut the shit."

"Language, language, pup."

Fox growled. "What is this really about?"

"I was hoping to see a bit more of you up close. I normally only see your face on the comms. Had to check if the rest of you was just as cute."

Fox stood up angrily, ready to leave, but Wolf's hand was on his wrist, holding him.

"Sorry," he said. "Sit. Please."

Fox slumped back into his seat. "Talk fast, Wolf."

Wolf tapped a button on the side of their booth, bringing up the privacy screens. A door silently slid into place, sealing the booth off from the bar, and the windows surrounding them went mostly opaque. That done, Wolf fidgeted in his seat, looking down into his beer. "I wanted to apologize."

"For the attempting to kill me all those years ago?"

"All the attempts. And the antagonism and the sabotage and the attacks on your friends. All of it."

"Change of heart?"

Wolf licked his lips and started idly scratching the edge of his eye patch again. "Change of mind, really."

"What?"

Wolf sighed: he looked worn out and old. "A long time ago, back when I knew your dad, I got into a bad scrape and lost my eye. It wasn't so bad; you wouldn't believe how many dates I got because of this thing. But then a couple years ago, I tried to get a replacement, an optical sensor."

"I remember it," Fox said, suppressing a shudder. He remembered the robotic look it gave Wolf.

"Anyways, I made a mistake. Tried to go through the black market and didn't check the seller too carefully. Turns out those implants have a big flaw." He tapped his forehead. "They tell you how it sends signals from a sensor into your visual cortex, so you can see. They don't tell you about how the Ocu-Implant burrows in to the other parts of your brain. In the wrong hands, like say Andross's hands, it could be used to control me."

"Seriously?"

"At least partially," Wolf admitted, and he hid an awkward pause by guzzling several gulps of beer. "It's not perfect mind control, but he could use my dislike of your father to make me want to do things... want to hurt you."

Fox drummed his claws along the top of the table, trying to decide how much he trusted this story. Wolf was a show-boater and a braggart, so Fox expected some lies, but not this type of lie. "So all those times you tried to kill me, that wasn't really you?"

"It wasn't, and it was. Andross didn't rewrite who I was, but he did tweak it a good amount. I didn't like you. You were a punk-ass pup just like your dad. I wanted you humiliated, not dead. That part was Andross's doing."

Fox stared down the table at the beer-swilling Wolf. "And you're... you now?"

"I think so." He grinned and let a foot brush against Fox's under the table. "Andross tamped down on how flirty I was, said it got in the way of the mission. Now I have no problem flirting all the time."

"But you're not sure."

Wolf downed the rest of his beer. His leg retracted. "No, I'm not. Look, pup..."

"Fox," he reiterated.

"You're a pup and I'll call you a pup if I like." This was said with a fierce determination. Not anger, determination. Fox idly wondered if Wolf was doing things like this to differentiate himself from the person Andross had tried to mold him into being. So he didn't push the issue any further.

"Anyways," Wolf said, continuing, "the reason you haven't heard from me for months is because I ran away. You landed a good blow against the Wolfen in our last scuttle. It bounced my head against a control panel. That short-circuited the device for a moment, long enough for me to realize what Andross had done. I left as fast as the Wolfen would take me and didn't look back. I've been hiding out here on the edge of the galaxy where Andross wouldn't come close, because if he does come out here, I fear he'd just take me over again. Hell, when I heard there was a Cornerian on station, I was packing my bags to head out farther out." A wan smile played out over the scarred face. "Glad I didn't."

Fox considered. He wanted to help Wolf as best he could, it was just in his nature. At the same time, there was no one he expected a double-cross from more than Wolf. And from the sound of it, Wolf was expecting a double-cross from his own brain. "I'm not heading back home for a while yet. If you'd like, I could stop by for drinks in the evening."

"Yeah, I'd like that." But he was only half-listening. The older wolf was staring out at the station through the darkened glass.

* * *

Two days later, Fox made a trip to the darker and seedier parts of the station. He left his flight outfit behind and opted for something less conspicuous: shirt, loose pants, long scarf, and a gas-mask to pretend he had trouble breathing the air on-station. He looked sufficiently scruffy that no one questioned his presence or looked at him more than twice. He also hoped it would act sufficiently well as a disguise given the somewhat illicit nature of what he was searching for.

He eventually wound up in front of a broad-headed lizard who bobbed his head continually as he spoke. "Yes, yes, I can help with illegal things. Very little is illegal here, but much is illegal elsewhere."

Fox kept his manner cool, calm, collected as he spoke. "I need information."

"Information, yes. Cheaper than products, but still has a price."

Fox pulled out a purple plastic tab that was one of the local currencies. "This do?"

The lizard tested it with his tongue to make sure it was real. One chameleon eye stayed on the money while the other stayed on Fox. "What do you want to know?"

"I need information about Ocu-Implants, specifically kinds that could be used for brain control and suggestion."

"Oh, yes. Very popular with armies. Every soldier obeying every command without question. Nice and efficient."

Fox grimaced and was glad that it didn't show through his mask. "I need to know more about them. Like, for instance, can they be powered down permanently?"

The lizard shook his head. "No, and once in they draw residual energy from the body itself, so no battery."

"Can they be removed?"

"Tricky surgery, and expensive, and not totally safe."

Fox felt his fists clench instinctively. "Are there any options for deactivating them? At all?"

The lizard tilted his head first one way and then the other. "Not deactivate. But there are... options."

* * *

The next evening, Fox showed up to the promenade early, before Wolf could take his favorite booth. He was already sipping away on something sweet and fizzy when the other pilot showed up, a little surprised to see him there. He tried to project confidence with a hand on his hip and a seductive sway of his tail, but Fox could tell that his early appearance had unsettled him.

"Sorry," Fox muttered as Wolf finally took his seat and got his drink.

"For what, getting here early?" He had the cocksure smile back.

"This might be uncomfortable."

Fox pressed a button on the device he held under the desk, and there was a flicker of realization on Wolf's face, a hand lifting half-way to his eyepatch, before his whole body went limp and he stared dully ahead of him.

It had worked.

Quickly, Fox activated the privacy screen of their booth and then took a moment to just stare at the immobile Wolf, who was breathing slowly and staring into the air ahead of him. A shiver ran up his spine. He couldn't believe he was doing this. "Ocu-Implant. Status report," he said slowly.

A disembodied voice came from Wolf's muzzle. It used his vocal chords, his lips, his tongue, but it was not his voice. "Reboot successfully completed. Awaiting programming."

Reboot? He hadn't rebooted it. That must have been the jolt Wolf had received way back in the Wolfen that had alerted him to its presence. It had just been waiting post-reboot ever since.

"Does the Ocu-Implant have a designated controller?"

"Emperor Andross."

Emperor? Of course he'd refer to himself so pompously. "And has that been locked in?"

"No."

Fox let out a deep breath. He'd hoped that Andross wanted the ability for field agents to update the Ocu-Implant and wouldn't lock it to himself. If he had, there would be nothing Fox could do. "Okay then. Reset designated controller."

Still staring at nothing and barely moving his lips, Wolf said, "Controller reset."

"Set controller to Fox McCloud."

"Fox McCloud set as controller."

"Lock Fox McCloud as controller."

"Controller locked."

Fox took a drink to steady his nerves. His heart was pounding in his chest and he could feel his hands shaking. This wasn't something that a hero did. This stuff was forbidden by every sensible government in the galaxy for good reason! But if he didn't use it, Wolf would be jumping at shadows forever. He still might be. Just because he had changed the controller didn't mean Wolf knew that, or would believe him if Fox told him.

Fox had to do more. "Ocu-Implant, create new deep thought pattern: you are feeling safer and more confident about having this implant. You could make a trip back to Corneria at some point."

"Thought received," the implant said through Wolf's mouth.

Fox knew from his conversation with the lizard that this thought would form slowly in Wolf's mind. It might be weeks, maybe months before he felt confident returning home, but at least now he could, with Fox having locked anyone else out from using the Ocu-Implant.

He'd done what he needed to do. But having seen the effectiveness of it, now he was curious what all else it could do. "Ocu-Implant, in this state, if I ask a question, then you can answer as Wolf would honestly, correct?"

"Correct."

A smile crept up on the edges of Fox's mouth. "Did you really mean it with all that flirting?"

* * *

The next day Fox once again shirked his usual outfit for something a bit different. As he made his way to Wolf's booth, he saw the lupine's one eye catch sight of him, then watched as his mouth fall open. The recovery was swift, but Fox knew he had had the desired impact. He was wearing a loose, sleeveless shirt and extremely short shorts that hugged the fur of his butt tightly. They weren't that different from his usual exercise clothes, but just that little bit more revealing. He'd gotten them after losing a bet with Falco.

But he liked the way he could tell Wolf's eye was fixed to his tailbase as he scooted his way into his seat. The tip of the vulpine's tail came over to rest on top of the table, flicking every now and then.

There was a hungry, eager look on Wolf's face and he ran his eye up and down Fox's slim form, now no longer hidden under the bulky flight jacket. "That's a new look, pup."

"I felt like wearing something a little more comfortable."

"I like it."

"I thought you would." Fox sipped on his water and pretended to be lost in the cool, refreshing liquid as his foot crept forward under the table and ran along the lupine's leg. Instead of returning the teasing affection, the leg pulled away sharply. A frown flashed over the other canid's muzzle. "Something wrong, old man? I thought you would appreciate a little attention."

"Old man?" Wolf huffed. "Now see here. Just because you're a pup doesn't make me an old man."

Fox grinned a little around the rim of his glass. One of the things he had done the previous evening with the Ocu-Implant, before wiping Wolf's memories of the entire encounter, was insert a trigger phrase. If Wolf wanted to call him "pup," then he got to be "old man." And every time Fox called him that, it made Wolf want to show off his... virility... a bit more. "Sure thing," Fox said and took another slow sip of water, before finishing with saying, "old man."

"Hmph." Wolf leaned in over the table, pointing a gloved finger directly at Fox. "Name the arena, pup. In any fight you want, I'll wipe the floor with you."

"Any battleground I choose?"

"Name it."

"So I could say a blaster fight on the sports deck."

"Yeah."

"Or some target practice in the nearby asteroid field, Arwing to Wolfen."

"Yeah."

Fox tapped his chin in mock thought. "Any battlefield at all?"

"Just name it already, pup."

"All right. I name your bedroom."

Wolf's jaw dropped a bit as Fox gave him another flirtatious look. "Damn, pup you really are eager for me to rail that tail, aren't you?"

"Unless you think an energetic vulpine is too much for an old man to handle."

Wolf growled a little and stepped out around the table. For a moment, Fox thought he might have overdone it. Then Wolf picked him out of the booth, hand held tightly around his waist. "Come on. My quarters, now."

* * *

Wolf's confidence started to falter as they wandered off the promenade and towards the residential wing of the station. Fox kept his own arm entwined around the lupine's hips, squeezing his ass discreetly when no one else was looking. Part of him couldn't believe he was about to fuck, or rather, about to be fucked, by his old enemy, but a bigger part of him told him that this was what Wolf really honestly needed deep down.

Besides he had spent part of the previous night trying to understand Wolf better, at a time when the lupine couldn't lie to him. He was a scoundrel, to be sure. But he wasn't evil. Fox had to keep reminding himself that all the awful things he thought about Wolf were largely a product of Andross.

The door to Wolf's cabin wooshed open and he pulled Fox inside quickly. "It's not much," he said, sheepish, concerned, with a touch of that hunted look coming back into his eyes.

Fox sought to distract him. One wall was full of various pieces of art so Fox scrambled onto a nearby seat and bent over to look at it, putting his tightly-clothed rear on full display behind him. "Did you make all these yourself?" On the wall in front of him was a large knife and multiple carvings whittled down out of wood.

Sadly it didn't seem to have the desired impact. Wolf's courage had completely deserted him. He staggered over to a different chair and collapsed into it, looking hard at a spot on the floor. His claws sunk into the upholstery. "Fox, I'm sorry. I don't think... I mean, it's been so long since I... Probably since you last saw me..."

Fox moved over to Wolf. Without asking, he slipped into the lupine's lap and lifted his chin up to look him in the eye. "It's okay. I understand."

"But I could kill you. I've tried to before."

Fox sat back a little on his lap, hands on his hips. "You have half a dozen weapons within arm's reach and I'm in my shorts. If you wanted to kill me, I'd already be dead." He didn't give Wolf any time to think any more about his situation. He pressed in close and slid his arms under the leather jacket he was always wearing, caressing thick lupine fur through his shirt. His muzzle met Wolf's and kissed deeply, tongue playing against the other's lips. And then the lips parted and he was running his tongue against fangs and another tongue. Strong hands had slid around him and were lifting his shirt off so heavy claws could drag through his underfur.

Those same claws raked down to his butt and groped it. Slowly the kiss broke. "All the same. It has been a while..."

"What, did you forget how to fuck, old man?" Fox teased.

Fox yipped as a hand delivered a firm spank to his ass. "You little punk," Wolf said through gritted teeth. "Fine. Let's see if you can back up all that talk or if you're just bluffing." He yanked the shorts down (Fox had worn nothing underneath) to leave the vulpine totally exposed in his lap and started grinding his rough, gloved hand over the vulpine's sheath until his shaft started to push out.

It didn't take long. Fox had been thinking about tonight all day and he was feeling more than a little bit pent up. His shaft bobbed in the air, throbbing. "Too much for you to handle?"

Wolf just grinned and sat back in his seat. He unzipped his pants and pulled out his own length. And it was all Fox could do not to stare. The lupine shaft sitting next to his vulpine one was a little darker in color, a little bit thicker, but a good bit longer. And for a moment Fox wondered if he'd bit off more than he could chew.

"Yeah, but do you know how to use it, old man?"

A tight grip clutched at Fox's scruff and lifted him bodily out of Wolf's lap. Wolf spun him around to face the outer windows and shoved him forward over a table. Another hand gripped his tail and yanked it out of the way. Well past words, Wolf lined himself up and started grinding and thrusting against Fox's rear, just long enough for the pre to lube himself, then he positioned his tip to Fox's hole and eased himself in.

Fox hissed and groaned. It had been a long time since he'd taken much up the ass, and this was bigger than most his toys. Okay, all of his toys. Behind him, he heard Wolf give a shaky moan.

"Damn, pup. You're tight. Don't tell me you're a virgin to getting fucked."

Fox took a deep breath as best as he could, pinned to the table. "Nah." He tried to sound cocky, but there was a tiny whimper on the edge of his voice.

"Pity," Wolf said and slid himself forward, pushing his entire length, minus the knot, into Fox's rear.

Fox groaned out and gripped the edges of the table. He glanced out and had a wild thought of someone floating past in a maintenance ship, being able to see the two canids eagerly fucking. He let out a little sigh of pleasure as Wolf pulled back and then thrust in again.

Wolf leaned over him. He hadn't bothered to undress and the weight of his heavy leather clothes settled over Fox. The studs in it dug into his fur here and there. As the thrusting sped up, Wolf leaned in and bit into the loose skin and fur of Fox's shoulder.

Fox could barely move, held down by Wolf as he was. So he didn't bother trying. The most he did was wriggle his hips and clench down whenever he felt Wolf thrust in deeply. The girth wasn't as bad as he was expecting, but the length was something else. Each thrust felt like it hit depths within him that he'd never quite managed to hit before and it was glorious. His tongue lolled out of his mouth and he found himself wishing Wolf would tie him already so he could feel every inch of that cock filling him up.

Wolf's thrusting became a bit more insistent. He reached out for the edges of the table to steady himself as he slammed his hips back and forth. Fox could feel how his legs seemed to wobble behind him, as if the pleasure already too much. Fox groaned as he felt that thick knot slam against his hole over and over again, but never enter him. "Come on," he whispered. "You can do it. Shove that knot in me already."

The lupine grunted and Fox could hear his claws biting into the surface of the table as he tried valiantly to push his knot in. Fox reached out to the edge of the window in front of them both and at the right moment, found the angle to shove himself back right as Wolf was thrusting and popped the knot right in.

Fox gasped and moaned. It had been bigger than he was expecting and his tailhole was smarting from the strain. But now that the entire shaft was inside him, it felt good, so damn good. Warm and heavy. Thick and filling. The shaft throbbed within him and stars danced in his vision each time it did.

He luxuriated in the feeling of fullness for a moment. But he could feel the ragged breaths of Wolf against his shoulder. "You're almost there," he whispered. "Not going to trip at the finish line, are you, old man?"

"Fuck you," Wolf said but there was a grin on his face. He gripped Fox's shoulders and started thrusting the little amount the knot would allow for. His shaft tugged and bumped wildly inside Fox.

For all his bravado, though, Wolf was whimpering and whining deep in his throat. Fox could feel how close he was, the shuddering in his legs, the twitching in his shaft. He was dancing on the edge. And Fox helped push him over with another trigger he had installed for just such a purpose. "Come on. Drain those big balls into me."

Wolf lurched forward. His shaft leapt and started spurting gobs of hot seed directly into Fox. Fox kept repeating the word "drain" over and over again, like a mantra under his breath, as the orgasm prolonged. Every muscle in Wolf's body strained to push him in deeper, harder, trying to work his cock even a fraction of an inch further into Fox's tight rear. It was like he was trying to squeeze every bit of cum out of his balls.

Then Wolf collapsed, his head falling next to Fox's and panting heavily, his one good eye staring dully into the air from exhaustion. Fox turned his head to the side and licked gently along the elder canid's muzzle. He was itching to get off, but he knew he had really pushed Wolf hard there.

He stayed there, squirming on occasion until he felt Wolf's breathing become slow and steady. "Still with me?" he asked.

"Yeah, pup. Fuck, you're good."

Fox reached around and pet the far side of Wolf's muzzle. "Don't you think it's about time you took care of a pup then?"

The third trigger phrase buried its way deep into Wolf's psyche. He nodded and slowly stood up. He pulled Fox up with him, and then fell back into his chair, tugging Fox down with him via his knot. Fox laughed as they collapsed in then gave a soft moan as the motion had jolted that shaft around inside of him.

Wolf's muzzle slid into the crook between his neck and shoulder and started kissing and licking along the fur there. Paws caressed down the vulpine's naked form, from shoulder to chest to belly to groin, and from there started to stroke slowly along the now slick length.

Wolf's slow strokings rapidly became faster. Fox was already close from all the humping earlier and it took barely a minute before he grunted and writhed on Wolf's lap as his own seed spurted out over his belly.

It wasn't as satisfying as he bet Wolf's orgasm had been--it couldn't possibly have been--but it was good nonetheless. He squirmed in the lap and found that the knot was still fully inflated and he wasn't going anywhere soon. "I hope you have a good shower here."

"Yeah I do, and--" Wolf was interrupted by a growling sound from his stomach. The two canids looked to each other and laughed. "I suppose we should order in. Damn, going to be hard to explain this to whoever comes to the door."

"Just have them leave it outside."

Wolf leaned over in the chair reaching for a tablet to order food. After he had done so, he set the pad aside and looked at Fox with his one good eye. "You can't stay, can you?"

Fox shook his head. "No. I have a couple of days before I need to go back to Corneria."

Wolf looked away. He seemed to be waging a silent battle within himself and Fox wondered if he was weighing the possibility of returning to Cornerian space himself. "Can you at least spend the nights here?"

"On one condition."

Wolf eyed him suspiciously. "Yeah?"

"You fuck me once each night."

* * *

Several days later, Fox was packing things onto the Arwing. (After that night, he'd moved out of his temporary quarters and into Wolf's.) He ran down the pre-flight checklist in his head. Normally ROB or someone else would be around to do it with him, but he still had most of the main points memorized. And all the while Wolf stood behind him, trying to convince him to stay.

"Really, life out here isn't so bad, pup."

Fox glanced at him over his shoulder and gave his tail a seductive wave. "It's not so bad on Corneria either."

"Yeah." Wolf swallowed and looked around nervously. "I don't think I'll be heading that way soon. But... when I do, I'll look you up."

"You've got my contact info." Fox held up a slim card. "And now I've got yours too. I'll stay in touch."

"And you'll encrypt everything?"

"Always. And maybe I'll have another mission out here in a few months. Normally we rotate who goes out here, but I can always volunteer."

That got a smile from the lupine. Fox stood and hugged him, holding on for a little while before hopping up into the cockpit.

"Hey!" Wolf called out, over the growing whine of the Arwing's engines. "You keep yourself safe out there... Fox."

And Fox flashed him his signature grin and thumbs-up before setting course for home.
