"To Tame A Dragon Zord Pt. 1"

Power Fur Rangers,

Go, Go, Go, Go!!!

In the evil lair on the moon Gollip, Twisted Pink, Shark-Finster, and The Winged Ape gathered in a group arguing who would be the new leader now that The Evil Emperor and Evil Empress had been sealed away in presumably another dimension.

"I want no part of this! Once the master frees himself, whoever of you sits on his throne will feel his wrath." The Winged Ape said and he slowly backed away from the group.

"I make monsters, YOU guys can be leader." Shark Finster said as he began to sew a new doll to transform into a new monster.

"That just leaves us handsome." Twisted Pink mocked as she looked at the gnarled and twisted form of Gollip.

"Pitiful, pitiful, pitiful!" Gollip shouted. "No one sits on my master's throne!!! I will keep it safe for his return." Gollip said as he marched over to the throne and sat on it. Twisted pink was about to object when Gollip took out a pair of gloves that had razor tipped dagger blades attached to the fingers. She took one look at the gloves and backed away.

"Fine, you can have it. If you think you can be a leader then lead us already." She complained.

"Shark-Finster! Make a monster, Now!!!" Gollip ordered and Shark-Finister finished sewing the doll he held.

"Nionstrum Arcesse Ktanos." Shark-Finster chanted and the doll began tro glow and flew out of his fin and began to grow until it turned into a monster.

"My latest creation! Meet Snapper." Shark-Finster said as a monster that had the head of a venus fly trap and the arms were long thin vines that looked like they could be used as whips. They had thorns embedded into them. The body was formed of the sames vines as the arms being intertwined to create the body and legs. The fly trap head would open and close periodically so it could breathe.

"What is that thing supposed to do? It looks ready to fall apart at the first attack those rangers make." Twisted Pink sneered. A large red opal that looked like a mirror made of rubies hung on a nearby wall. This was the opening to where the Evil Emperor and Evil Empress had been trapped. The Evil Empress looked through and shouted but she was unheard by the monsters in the evil lair.

"Calm down my dear. They can't hear you." The Evil Emperor said as he looked around to view where they had been trapped. It looked like a desolate planet and the sky was the same color as the barrier preventing them from escaping.

"S-S-S How can you be so calm?" She hissed and he chuckled while she glared at him. The huge dragon was looking towards the sky with a big smile on his maw.

"The Green Power Fur Ranger made a huge mistake in trapping us here." The Evil Emperor gloated.

"Oh, and why's that?" She asked.

"Because this is my home planet and I know every inch about this place. What's more there is a certain artifact here that will increase my power tremendously. I had been wanting to come here and find it but this now gives me the opportunity to do so." The Evil Emperor said and he began to look around again to get his bearings.

"S-S-S so what's so special about this item?" She asked.

"It will increase my power making me twice as strong as I am now. I'll be able tro dash that barrier like it was tissue paper once we find it." The Evil Emperor said and he began to walk in a certain direction.

"Will it be dangerous to find?" She asked nervously.

"Of course! It would not be valuable if it wasn't." He said and she trailed after him.

In the secret base of The Power Fur Rangers, Tom stood alone before Zolton as Clank was busy monitoring the control canals and view screens.

"Tom, Clank and I have been busy working on a way to get your Zord to combine with The MegaZord. We believe we have discovered a way but in order to do this we need you to get better control over your Zord." Zolton explained.

"It's not that easy the spirit inside the Zord and I struggle for control. It makes controlling the Zord almost impossible." Tom replied.

"You must find a way to form a bond with the spirit and convince it to help us." Zolton said.

"But how can I do that?"

"No, no, no, no, you may have to go on a vision quest to the resting place of the spirit and try to communicate with it." Clank said.

"But with the way it struggled to overpower me, can I really make it an ally?" Tom asked as he lowered his ears.

"You must try! We swill need the Zords power if we hope to stand with the growing threat."

"But I trapped the Evil Emperor and Evil Empress in another dimension. How could the threat be growing?" Tom asked.

"They are gone temporarily but who knows what they may bring back with them if they find a way to escape. Every time we tried to get rid of the Evil Emperor he always comes back stronger than before." Zolton said.

"Plus we have no idea which dimension you trapped him in. Who knows what he could find there. There could be creatures even worse than what we are used to." Clank said.

"Where can I find the spirit?" Tom asked.

"We will transport you nearby. Make your way to the cove where the spirit rests and try to make contact." Zolton said.

In Billy's Juice Bar, Slash and Ghoul were busy looking around to find the group but they were nowhere to be found. Billy watched them closely as he wiped the counter. He was used to them starting trouble and he was ready to step in at a moment's notice should they start acting up.

He was determined not to throw them out or ban them because he had been convinced that they lacked discipline from a caring role model to show them the proper way to behave. He did not want to be another adult that cast them off and abandoned them.

"Not here either," Slash said as Ghoul looked around and his skunk tail hit the back of Slash as he spun around. Slash looked annoyed but just let it go as he continued searching.

"Why, we looking for them again?" Ghoul asked.

"Because I heard they have that orange cat hanging out with them now. I wanna know if it's true! The Nitwits are multiplying!!" Slash said and Ghoul began to laugh as Billy sternly watched them closely.

"I got it. I know a way to rig up a shaving cream can and when they open their lockers it'll spray all over them." Ghoul said.

"Good idea! I'll keep Billy busy while you set it up." Slash said and Ghoul ducked into the locker room. Slah walked over to talk to Billy as he continued tro stare at him.

"Hey Billy, what's new?" Slash asked.

"What are you up to Slash? I know you're up to something." Billy said as Slash began to blush.

"Can't a guy say hi?"

"Not when I know you and Ghoul are planning something. Where did he go anyway?" Billy ordered.

"Geez to the bathroom, but I don't have to go. Thought I'd say 'hi' while I wait." Slash said but Billy watched him suspiciously but said nothing.

Lion, Lisa, Brian, Terri, and Skyler entered as they looked around and made their way to the counter to order drinks. Slash tried to slip away unnoticed.

"Hey, where is Tom by the way?" Skyler asked.

"LIKE Who cares?" Lisa replied sourly.

"Come on Lisa, you should at least give him a chance." Terri said as she put her paws around Lisa's shoulders to support her.

"Yeah, a chance to LIKE stab us all in the back again." Lisa retorted.

"Zolton said he needed to speak with him so he is probably back at our base." Lion said in a hushed whisper to the group. The group nodded silently hoping to not draw attention to themselves.

Inside The Power Fur Rangers secret base an alarm began to sound.

"No, no, no, no," Clank said as he rushed to check the instrument panels. "A monster has been sent to the planet." Clank said and the view screens showed a large plant monster that had vine whips as hands.

"I'll contact The Power Fur Rangers." Zolton said.

"Do you want me to join the group?" Tom asked.

"No, right now the top priority is for you to meet with the dragon spirit and try to get him to join us. Stand by, I'll transport you to his location now." Everything around Tom glowed with a green color and when the light faded he found he was on a beach next to a cliff that had a cave in it.

"Guess I better get climbing," Tom complained as he made his way towards the cave opening by starting to climb the cliff.

In Billy's Juice Bar, The Power Fur Rangers were able to hear Zolton because of the special rings they wore that allowed them to transform into The Power Fur Rangers.

"Rangers, a monster has been sent to the planet. We need you to deal with it immediately." Zolton said.

"We're on our way, Zolton." Lion said as the group rose and made their way out of the Juice Bar. Slash watched in horror as the group left suddenly and a few seconds later Ghoul joined him.

"Well?"" Slash asked.

"It's all set, buddy." Ghoul replied and he began to look around for the group. "They didn't arrive yet?"

"They were here then they left suddenly. We just gotta wait until they return." Slash replied. The group ran outside to the back of the Juice Bar where they would not be seen by anyone.

"Shabot Ve Sum, Baby" They shouted as they crossed their paws in front of them making 'X' shapes then closed their eyes. They quickly opened their eyes as they extended their index and middle fingers as if they were unsheathing claws. They then clasped their paws together as if holding a ball of energy and motioned to pull their paws behind their backs.

"Power of The Black Power Fur Ranger." Zyler Shouted.

"Power of The Pink Power Fur Ranger." Lisa Shouted.

"Power of The Blue Power Fur Ranger." Brian shouted.

"Power of The Yellow Power Fur Ranger." Terri Shouted.

"Power of The Red Power Fur Ranger." Lion shouted. They then motioned as if they were throwing the energy like a fireball forward. The rings they wore transformed into a gray colored goo that quickly completely enveloped their bodies. The goo hardened and became their Power Fur Ranger outfits that looked as thin as spandex but stronger than the toughest steel. The helmets they wore had made blacked slots where the eyes were so they could see out of it. Their bodies seemed androgynous and the armor made it appear as if they made more muscle mass than they actually had.

They were transported to the downtown area where various species were running in terror from the monster. The vine whip arms were striking the ground and causing small explosions.

"Save us!" A bull screamed as it ran past The Power Fur Rangers.

"Get to safety." The Black Power Fur Ranger ordered. The Power Fur Rangers then removed their Fur weapons and held them ready as Snapper approached using his vine arms to continue striking the ground.

"Let's do this," The Red Power Fur Ranger ordered as they charged at the monster.

Tom reached the opening of the cave and carefully made his way inside. There were torches on the wall that lit up by themselves as he entered. A blue translucent dragon was shimmering in the back next to an altar. It glared as Tom carefully approached. It said nothing to the feline approaching but merely glared at him waiting to see what he wanted.

"Spirit of the dragon, I've come to parlay with you." Tom said but the spirit continued to stare, remaining silent. It felt a bit unnerving as he was being stared at and he had to work up the courage to think of what to say.

"Speak." It said in an eerie tone after a long uncomfortable dramatic pause.

"You and I share the Dragon Zord. As such we need to help each other and not fight against each other." Tom said.

"No, kill Red." The spirit said as a vision appeared in front of Tom showing a similar Red Power Fur Ranger but it was obvious that this was not the same one that Lion turned into.

"Axelrod" The spirit said then the vision showed The Red Power Fur Ranger running at a white dragon that had blue sapphire eyes and attacked it with twin swords. The white dragon screamed in pain then fell to the ground and the body exploded. The light blue spirit flew from the destroyed body and was trapped upon an altar inside the cave.

Tom watched as the spirit tried to escape but Gollip laughed as he stood by the altar and watched the helpless spirit struggle to get free. Gollip laughed and muttered something unheard as the sprit realized it would forever be trapped there.

"Gollip trapped you here against your will?" Tom muttered sadly as he realized the anguish of the dragon spirit. The imagine of Gollip flashed before him and it slowly changed until it showed what Gollip had originally looked like before The Evil Empress twisted him with her magic. Gollip was a gray colored fox that was missing an ear. He also had a black tail.

"He was a Power Fur Ranger?! Unbelievable." Tom said but the vision continued and Tom saw The Dragon Zord as The MegaZord charged and struck it with the Tanto Katana it held. Tom then recognized The Power Fur Rangers inside as being Lion, Lisa, Terri, Brian, and Skyler.

The vision changed again to Tom being The Green Power Fur Ranger and he replaced Gollip and showed The Green Power Fur Ranger trapping the spirit in the cave. Tom watched in horror as The Green Power Fur Ranger laughed at the spirit's suffering.

"Trapped." The spirit said.

Snapper used its vines to strike at The Power Fur Rangers and sent them tumbling to the ground as sparks flew everywhere as their suit armor blocked the attack. The Power Fur Rangers struggled to stand and they suddenly braced themselves for a second attack as the vines struck out with lightning speeds.

"Anyone got any weed killer?" The Blue Power Fur Ranger grumbled.

"LIKE for real." The Pink Power Fur Ranger replied.

"We need a new tactic," The Red Power Fur Ranger said. "Quick, try and surround him and attack when he's hitting in another direction than where you are."

"Right." the rest of The Power Fur Rangers said. They quickly scrambled and surrounded Snapper. He looked around frantically trying to figure out what they were up to. The momentary pause gave The Power Fur Rangers the opportunity to counter his attacks. The Power Black and Yellow Fur Rangers struck the back of the monster as he turned to face The Red and Pink Power Fur Rangers.

Snapper rose with it's eyes full of fury and it suddenly grew two additional arms and used all four to strike out in almost every direction at once.

"Any more brilliant ideas, fearless leader?" The Black Power Fur Ranger said to The Red Power Fur Ranger sarcastically.

"Combine Power Fur Weapons!" The Red Power Fur Ranger ordered.

"Right!" The others replied as he held their personal Fur weapons.

"Fur Axe." The Black Power Fur Ranger said as he threw his Ax into the air and it transformed into gun stock with the ax head turning into a gun handle.

"Fur Bow." The Pink Power Fur Ranger said as she threw her Fur Bow up to where the Fur Axe remained suspended. The bow began to transform as it attached itself to the axe the long way with two small arrows becoming sights used to aim.

"Fur Staff," The Blue Power Fur Ranger shouted as he tossed his staff into the air and it transformed into a large arrow that set itself on top of the bow.

"Fur Daggers," The Yellow Power Fur Ranger shouted and she tossed her Fur Daggers up and they transformed and attached themselves to the tip of the arrow and began to spin around like saw blades on the left and the right of the arrow.

"Fur Sword," The Red Power Fur Ranger tossed up his sword and it attached itself to the top of the arrow and spun around as if it was a drill bit. The weapon landed in the paws of The Red Power Fur Ranger as the others stood behind him.

"Fire!" The Power Fur Rangers shouted as a laser beam shot out. Snapper quickly dug the vine arms into the ground and made a barrier created out of trees to rise to shield himself from the blast.

"Any more brilliant ideas, fearless leader?" The Black Power Fur Ranger said to The Red Power Fur Ranger sarcastically.

Tom stood dumbfounded trying to think of what to say. For the first time he understood the anguish the dragon spirit has. Even if it was the brother of The Evil Emperor, it was not the same as him. Tom wondered if he could convince the spirit to help him so that together they could get revenge for what was done to the spirit.

The spirit continued to glare as it waited to see what Tom was going to do. Tom thought carefully about how to proceed.

"Can you read my mind and see visions like what you showed me?" Tom asked.

"Yes." was the cryptic response. Tom thought hard and the vision appeared before the spirit in the same manner as the ones he had seen. He displayed images of his childhood and how he was later adopted by the tigress mother he lived with.

He showed how he was rebellious and had been arrested a number of times. The spirit watched closely but showed no signs of emotion at what he was seeing. The images changed to when Tom began to learn martial arts and how many times he had been thrown and beaten while he was learning. He showed the fierce determination he had to not quit then he showed that he entered tournaments and started to win them.

He then imagined himself in his Power Fur Ranger suit. He ran at Gollip and struck him with his Fur Dragon Wakizashi. It was not a memory but a promise he was making to the spirit that together they would get revenge for what was done to the spirit.

"Can we be allies and work together?" Tom asked. The eyes of the spirit continued to glare and Tom swallowed hard because he was guessing the spirit was going to reject his offer. Suddenly the eyes of the spirit softened.

"For now," Was the reply and the spirit went and began to hover over the altar that held him prisoner. Tom bowed respectfully and left the cave.

"Tom," Can the voice of Zolton. "The Power Fur Rangers need your help."

"I'm on my way! Powered By A Dragon!" Tom shouted as he crossed his paws in front of him making 'X' shapes then closed his eyes. He quickly opened his eyes as he extended his index and middle fingers as if he was unsheathing claws. He then clasped his paws together as if holding a ball of energy and motioned to pull his paws behind his back.

"Power of The Green Power Fur Ranger." Tom Shouted.

He then motioned as if he was throwing the energy like a fireball forward. The ring he wore transformed into a gray colored goo that quickly completely enveloped his body. The goo hardened and became his Power Fur Ranger outfit that looked as thin as spandex but stronger than the toughest steel. The helmet he wore had blacked slots where the eyes were so he could see out of it. His body seemed androgynous and the armor made it appear as if he had more muscle mass than he actually had. He had a silver vest that had gold dragons on it. The vest appeared as flimsy as a cloth material, the same as the outfit but in reality it was stronger than carbon steel.

He was transported to where the other Power Fur Rangers were fighting. He ran to join them.

"Time to make that monster grow!!!!" Gollip ordered...
