When will it end?

The Black wolf bathed on the moonlight as he ponders the life he's walked. For the sake of the one's he loved, he continued to live.

"I'll live tomorrow, for sure..."

He told himself.

The stench of the forest and it's gentle wind ruffles his fur. For a moment, he felt the World touched him softly as if to tell him that it will be okay. He pondered again, why would this world birthed him. He was never talented in hunting, he was called 'stupid' and 'unintelligent' by his tribe, he was one of the weakest in his tribe. His entire life ridiculed and hated. The only reason they let him live in their tribe was because the alpha wolves loved him. They loved him because he was the only few males in the pack.

"Well, at the very least I've taught her everything I know."

Yes, her, his youngest sibling. He taught her how to live, to hunt, survive, and most important of all, enjoy her life. She was smarter, talented, and better than him in every way. When she was a pup, he taught her all of the ways of the wolves. She grasped quickly, unlike him. He deeply envied her, but the shining light of hope gave him a sense of fulfillment. Hope that she would be a better wolf than him, a better tribeswolf that will lead the pack.

So he sighed, and dropped his body to the ground staring at the moonlight, pain beginning to fade away. The grizzly that was threatening the tribe, dead because of him, and him alone. He slowly closed his eyes, slipping from reality in and out.

Then someone cried,

"Big Brother! Big Brother! Don't worry I'll save you!"

"Heh. Good to see you again, lil' sis." He smiled

Peace, and the cold night was the last thing he felt.
